I have just purchased my first WorldSIM card and the product is exactly what I am looking for. A real must for any world traveller. Daniel from customer support has been extremely helpful and supportive. A great experience!
World sim is useless, did not work in either New Zealand or Canada. Contacted customer support and received some instructions which I followed without success. I tried calling the help line numerous times with no answer. I ended up buying local sims in New Zealand and Canada. World sim is a useless product do not buy
First of all thank you soo much for offer me complimentary USA number for next 60 days as my trip is for 40 days in USA. It is very good to know i can use my own USA number without any extra charge. Your support team deserves 5 stars they understands customer utility first. Pure customer service. Thanks Jonathan for your kind help.
Frustration perished away from the time I chose the worldsim as international network companion. Formerly, call failure for several times was quite certain. It was somewhat like a war when I tried to make any call. But things just started to change when I purchased the worldsim card. The call rate is very nice to me that I can afford very easily. Moreover, I get free incoming call in every country. Free online top up line is also a very beneficiary support I get from this company.
I have been dealing with this online business for more than a year. Their products, services, and above all their costs are what distinction them. Just today i went online to do top up and the chat customer services Rose helped me in a matter of minutes. The same thing happened in the past while i was trying to get virtual number.
I would recommend this business to every traveler.
During my recent trip to Europe I spent a lot of my vacation time trying to get this up and working with little success. I tried a non-Worldsim card in the device as well. No success. Talked at my expense from Europe with Worldsim customer support and they were not successful either. I've asked for a re-fund and Worldsim is now considering whether it will do the re-fund or not.
The sim was easy to purchase, but had some issues when trying to set up data. This was quickly and easily rectified, however, by customer service through the online chat.
Overall, I would recommend their service.
I bought a WorldSim only 2 months ago in May 2021. Spent the last 2 months informing my business contacts of the change in phone number.
Like everyone else I received the sms/email informing me of the expiration of the SIM card (and phone number with it) on July 31,2021 with 7 days notification time. This is absolutely ridiculous. They should have known about this change in May and at least give clients ample notification of such a major change.
Never again with WorldSim!
While we needed data support for all of our clients, it was a real challenge. As I used the WorldSIM Data roaming before and found it worthy, decided to get a first try with them. And, luckily got the router (I chose the Huawei) from them as well. Though we could assign ten devices with each router but I did not allow more than five. Guys applauded us for this new worthy service. Good job, WorldSIM.
The worldsim website has many offers throughout the year. They have different kinds of promotions going on in their website related to their products. Also currently they are providing free credits for recharge too. Their Facebook page is also as exciting as it is. Apart from their own promotions, they detail more about holidays, vacation pictures and amazing contests. Being a part of one of their contests, I won the Pocket Wifi. Great page!
I'm happy with the world sim so far with voice only. I have tried data few time in rome but so slow when i tried to find restaurant and how to get there.
I called the customer service 2 times when i first got it for activation purpose and question on billing. It took me some difficult time to understand the representative because of their english accent; however i finally got the issues resolve.
Received my WorldSIM card delivery one day later to the promising day. Suspected a crap service again. But all went wrong when I made the first tour with this network. Even, in some places, WorldSIM caught better signal than the local network. It was amazing getting a network helped me staying close to my family with a lessened price.
Formerly I bought an internet modem from an international network provider. I was attracted seeing their data tariff but damn of me! They have a quite lot hidden charges for some lame reasons and ultimately the charge sums up to high. Immediately I purchased another modem of WorldSIM from a flight. As they do not emphasis any hidden charge, it reduced my data roaming charges and let me save a lot.
The products and prices look good but the service is just atrocious, I would hate to be in a remote location and dependent on this mob, what a joke. I have tried buying from them six times and nothing happened. When I got to the final stage on each time it said "the request was unsuccessful due to an unexpected condition of the server." I tried to email several times and after many attempts the only answer I received was an email asking me to ring a UK phone number. I tried that several times from Australia but never got through after long waits. Keep away from this mob, they will only waste your time and ruin your overseas trips.
This company is smoke and mirrors. Deplorable "service", fake reviews in TrustPilot, the Facebook Page is a joke, and they take users for fools. That "taking" includes inexplicable charges, eroding of credits, that can be interpreted as silent theft. Mysterious terms of service and constantly changing fees, that make tropical weather patterns, seem stable. With over 40+ years in technology, and 6 of those being exposed to the "services" of WorldSIM, I cannot cut up my SIM card, into small enough pieces. This "company" is the epitome of being conned into parting with good money, to receive bad "service" in return. WorldSIM is to be given a VERY wide berth. Run, don't walk.
Tip for consumers:
Simply don't use their services. Period.
Products used:
WorldSIM card purchased in 2015. Since then, I have put up with the poor service. However, the last straw is that they simply took a $10 credit that was on the account. When asked repeatedly what the charges are fore, it's just met with, "we will get back to you". Nothing is done. As they say, it's the last straw that breaks the camel's back. Not to mention going through all the negative reviews everywhere, and feeling the need to add to the chorus. Folks don't need to be conned, with the impunity that WorldSIM displays.
Virtual numbers of worldsim means to me a great rescue for the people crowd around me. Now I added almost all the virtual numbers that are allowed by worldsim. Interesting matter is that the same guy who used to rush on phone now want to talk about the deals for hours. This seems to me very interesting. I feel very happy when my son need not to pay that much wherever I am wander. So, family ties is actually revived with the virtual number feature.
Does not provide proof that it has license to trade; however wants bank details to find out how much people have in their bank account and wants passport copy...
Suspicion for fraud. As requests personal details but can't provide evidence of their own
Purchased this Worldsim after hearing from a friend using it in his trip and enjoyed the rates that is lower to his current provider. Ordered for myself last year in December for my vacation trip at the end of the year. I have enjoyed my trip, as receiving calls were free as they said. Was charged only $25 for outgoing calls to my home and friends and was recommending them WorldSIM. I also did a recharge online to get free credits too! Great experience for me!
The U. K. number provided will not accept any incoming international calls, including those made from their own recommended roaming partner networks.
Their technical department has been working on it for one week, and finally customer service told me that if the WorldSIM card doesn't work it's my problem, and I have to contact each and every one of their roaming partners to ask them to fix the problem with the WorldSIM sim card. They even told me to provide them with feedback from their own roaming partners about the cause of the problem. They also refuse to refund the cost of the faulty WorldSIM card.
If you need reliability and good service, look elsewhere.
Nancy has given me full satisfaction on my queries about internet connexion and purchasing data bundle. I really appreciated the assistance and would like to thank again Nancy for her patience and great job to allow me get chance to enjoy connexion world wide through worldsim
I was having trouble with connecting my worldsim-5004 device to the internet after having topped up the SIM. Matt from the support team was very helpful in solving this problem at once. I appreciate very much his speed in finding the best solution. Refreshing the carrier line showed immediate results and I am happy to be online now. Thanks, Matt!
Don't buy this! It is not worth the money you put into it. The roaming charges for US are exorbitant and I wasted over £50 for not even two days of service. Plus the set up was SO confusing. Don't waste your time or money on this SIM card.
I was just looking over things for an upcoming trip. Didn't plan on purchasing any data bundle because my trip is not for another few weeks. I saw that a chat popped up and was greeted by Nancy. She was very helpful and let me know if I got the data bundle now, that I could activate at later date. She even gave me a discount code... that was a bonus... thanks Nancy.
I bought my WorldSim card from an airline duty free catalog with not much expectation, but I travel a lot. Since then I have been impressed with its connectivity, even working when the network it was using's own SIMs did not. Then I had a technical problem, and contacted the online chat support. The very helpful Ms Gaby did everything she could to resolve the issue, but finally had to send it to the tech support people as it seems to be more complicated. While she did not resolve the issue, it is the support and way she handled it that makes me give this a 5 star rating. Many online support chats merely go through the basics, but Ms Gaby really tried, a nd kept me informed as she did. For that, I salute her, and thank WorldSim.
I bought their sim card for data and voice, it works perfectly in my country. Jonathan was also a good customer service; he answered all my questions and even gave me a discount code to use on my purchase. Great customer service!
This is by far the worst roaming/SIM card experience ever. The customer service in India is huge disappointment. They have no clue of what they are doing and Mike (their manager) is the most irritating person you can talk to. At the end of the whole thing they definitely won... as they had my money and I ended up buying a SIM Card directly from AT&T.
I used to go through internet modem while I was on roaming. There's some issue raised and this is why I switched to the new product of WorldSIM, the Huawei Hotspot. I now feel how much lucky I have been choosing the device. Basically, my internet modem was manufactured for lone usage. I could not use my data plan in other device so that I had to buy different data plan what was really costly and out of my capability and this is how it enhanced my data billing. But the Huawei Hotspot playing a great role to my data usage on roaming. I can monitor the data speed, connected devices, its battery life. I should not forget to tell about its battery life because its unique battery let me have more exiting roaming memories.
