I ordered, received and installed this SIM card in my unlocked iPhone 5s after first researching its reviews and chatting with their customer service (text chat). I expected a very good experience and when I first installed the SIM, it worked and I wrote a positive review. Now I'm giving it the worst possible review for the following reasons: 1) If you are English speaking and expect to be able to speak to an English speaking person at customer service, you most likely will get a connection that's filled with static and an agent from India who speaks English as a second language and is very difficult to understand; not like the clear British speaker who is the robot that answers the phone when you call for such service (first deception). 2) When you get the instructions with the SIM, it says to KEEP THE DATA TURNED ON and at no time do you get warned that by so doing, even if you are connected to Wi-Fi, your device will charge you for data. They COULD have made that instruction clearer like every other (non-US) SIM card I've ever used. I had the mistaken impression it would work like my US SIM card, which does NOT use DATA if the phone is connected to Wi-Fi, even if DATA is left ON. They used all my $45 of credit on the SIM and refunded me $5 after I complained about being misled by their very instructions. 3) On one of my calls to Customer Service I was informed that their network was down for more than 24 hours for some inexplicable reason. I fortunately was not traveling then, but my friend was and he was using their SIM because I recommended it. When it didn't work while he needed it, sent me an email from his hotel and I discovered why. With such terrible service, agents who cannot clearly communicate and failure to accept corporate responsibility for their misguidance to me, I cannot recommend this card. Go elsewhere.
Absolutely rubbish. No credit on phone when arrived at destination. Contacted world sim, they have me a ticket number that is not recognisable by their online service and I haven't heard anything more from them about my missing credit. Terrible service.
This company IS THE MOST USELESS COMPANY I HAVE EVER MET ONLINE. Ticket #: CAS-ZNYF5064 how can I place order for two sims once was sent to the wrong address since 9th of this month and I havent gotten it till now. The order process is simple and easy. The SIM card worked as soon as I put it into my phone. I've only used it in the UK so far but everything works as it should so I expect it will work well abroad too. And if there is any credit left when I get back I can use it when I get home. You have to pay for incoming calls abroad but in the UK incoming calls are free.
Easy to buy and activate. Work almost all countries... no activation fees... two usa and uk numbers free, topup discounts amazing deals... must buy it. Very cheap overall

WorldSim have this trick of saying your simcard is out of date every four years. Your phone is barred by them. This means that you have to get a new simcard from them which is a completely new number. So you have to update all your records, print new business cards, etc. This has just occurred for the second time, they first did it four years ago. So unless you want to change your phone number every four years do not use their service.

Love this SIM card! When arriving in a different country, I like to hit the ground running so I purchased it prior to departure. I tested it out at home prior to leaving and it worked flawlessly. I hope it will continue to work wherever I need it.

I bought a Worldsim Data SIM and put it in my WiFi Hotspot device only to find that in order to actually get on the internet you had to try and access the WiFi Hotspot device with a PC to set it up, which is a pain, especially as after spending over an hour I couldn't get it to mount the internet with my WiFi Hotspot device and it says that you would probably have to set it up via a PC in every country visited.
I put the Worldsim Data SIM in a spare phone and got on the internet in a few minutes, so the SIM was OK

My advice would be to only but one for a phone or tablet.
My WoldSIM card works very well but it's a bit expensive to use it.
Perhaps I'm not using it properly yet, once I'm new with it and I have no time to read all these faq's and try to fix something better.

This is the worst experience I ever had with any sim provider
1. I ordered a UK Travel sim in India on 02nd Feb 2018. It was supposed to be delivered latest by 06-Feb 2018 given 2-3 business days timelines. I didn't get any delivery until 07-Feb and then started following up with the customer care. Got the answers like 'It will be delivered SOON', 'we have escalated the issue', 'Doing our best' but no definite timelines.
After following up with them for 3 days I got the sim delivered on 10th afternoon( not at my home address but to a relative in the city from where I was travelling to UK)
2. I tested the SIM in India and didn't receive any incoming calls. The message was ' The calls to this number are not getting connected' and believe me I travelled to UK on 11th and today is 14th, I am still unable to receive any calls. Don't know if it is fortunate or unfortunate that I am receiving incoming calls from World sim customer care but from nowhere else. I am in UK without any connectivity. No one can contact me, that's amazing.
3. Outgoing calls are shown as 'Private number', so nobody knows that I am calling.
4. Even after setting up APN data, internet is not working.
Since I have arrived in UK, I am just talking to customer care. They are looking into my issue on PRIORITY for the last 3 days while I am enjoying London without any SIM Card. Yesterday I agreed with one of the customer care executive to raise my refund request but they didn't send any updates. I followed up with them today and they are again saying the same thing that they are looking into the issue and need 24 hours. They completely ignored about the refund thing which they agreed me on the chat.
When I posted the review on another website, I got a standard reply that pls connect with the customer care and my issue will be resolved at the earliest.

I got a very precise assistance from the customer online service about my doubts related to the use of Tri-Fi. However, since I am just starting my trial, I cannot say anything about its performance. Anyhow, I was a user of the voice Worldsim in the past and I was happy with it although the rates were a bit high.
The WorldSIM DUET is a perfect device. But you have to be connected to the partner provider. Which was impossible for me at the place I am just now. Will give it a chance later on.
I needed additional information on WorldSIM Virtual Numbers and I was also unable to update my company details.

Answer: To set up data, I believe you require to set the APN as mobiledata. And their return is around 2 weeks from the day you receive the product.

They just want you to buy the card and then no support. I have called and emailed and open case for 10 times.( i have 10mails) and their answer was " please test again and if there is a problem we are happy to assist you" thats it. No solution, no nothing. I cannot call UK numbers 0044. I have sent 10 emails, I lost money from my job because of the time tryting to connect with them and 2 weeks later, today the answer I received for my 10th email was Dear customer, Please re-test and share latest couple of examples if failed again to investigate this issue further.
