They sent me pre-paid insured postage to mail my ring to them, kept me in the loop as to when the ring arrived and then kept me informed on every step of the process from the inspection and evaluation of my ring, to giving me a cost estimate & complete report of the ring's qualities, to how the auction would go, what bids I got etc. When my ring was sold for the price I wanted, it took less than a week for me to get the money from them.

My communication with the staff was absolutely wonderful on the phone or by email nice however the site the website when you're in your account was a little crazy. Worthy gave me a recommended reserve price and I didn't like it I put it to be higher. Then I went into change it and it reverted back to what the Worthy reserve price was. That part was confusing and not user-friendly I was very disappointed in that.
Overall it was a good process very professional and prompt. I would use this service again but I would want to be walked through talking to someone on the phone when it came to the reserve price because again I was very disappointed in what happened with my situation

Worthy ads were starting to pop up on my feeds everywhere. I did have pieces of jewelry that I wanted to sell and had a reserve in my mind. After checking with local jewelers and not happy with the results, I decided to give Worthy a try. For being a busy working woman, I didn't have the time or energy to watch and hassle for the money that I wanted for my pieces. So having Worthy do the leg work for me was nice. I wouldn't say the turn around was quick and easy because coming from Hawaii, nothing is quick and easy. The whole process took time but not as bad I would say. I will use Worthy again but not have such high expectations in turn around. I did sell my piece for what I would have been satisfied with so I am glad Worthy came through on that part.

Information and guidance was unclear and inconsistent for a while. For instance, I was told to send the watch but not how to send it. And even after I'd sent photos, and told that Worthy had examined the watch and made photos, I was asked for photos. So I didn't think Worthy was on top of things. I got more emails asking me if I wanted to sell the watch; yes, that's what I'd communicated from the start. I replied that in a former sale I just took the item to Worthy and that I didn't know how to send it, and then, finally, I got specific instructions and shipping label. The watch got sold for a price I found satisfactory.

Answer: Yes, Worthy photographs your item and gets it appraised. Worthy will suggest a reserve price. You can set your own, though, like I did. Had my ring not reached the reserve, I would have had the option of accepting the sale or having my ring returned. I set my reserve price 5% over what they suggested and I received double what I set as my reserve. Something to note is since my ring had a flurry of attention on the last day, Worthy extended my auction time enabling me to receive more bids. My ring sold last night and I had an email this morning saying my deposit was made to my account. I will use them again and recommend them to my family.

Answer: I was offered a quick sale and it was less than what I had anticipated my minimum bid price would be. I was told my check was sent out. Hoping to receive the check any day now, All in all, the process was not everything I had hoped for... I received one phone call on a sunday with the quick sale offer and some basic info on the appraisal. If you created an on-line account and communicated via email then you at least have some paper trial of what has happened. I went in person and delivered a ring so all communication was via phone once I left the building.
