After trying unsuccessfully to buy a laptop from antonline and newegg, I ended up getting it here. They have real people you can talk to, and want to take care of you. The one downside I will warn about in advance is this: They are much smaller than most online vendors, and they are primarily centered on upgraded laptops. The big guys have automated pickers and will ship it the day you order. These guys require humans to pick the order, do any necessary upgrades, and then ship, so it may take a day or two before it is shipped. Personally, I'd rather have real humans, and personalized service than speed most of the time.
Sent me a broken PC, spent months with customer service with no luck. Sent it back for RMA and was guaranteed it was fixed, it was anything but fixed. Had me buy another power supply and RAM sticks and guaranteed me it would fix the problem, it did not. Made me pay for shipping back to them for a refund, only for them to tell me the GPU was damaged in shipping. They're trying to weasel there way out of a return. Requested to talk to management with no luck. Now they're saying I might have to cover the damaged GPU. Here's some food for thought you idiots at XOTIC pc, maybe build me a working PC and i won't have to send it back to you morons. Well I hired an attorney and plan on throwing the book at them. Until I get my money back I will make sure they loose business. Don't EVER buy from this company, stay far away.
Listen to every bad review. This company will SCREW YOU out of your TIME and MONEY. Absolutely reprehensible customer service and poorly designed website as well. With plenty of trips and tricks to get extra money out of you that you will never get back all while providing subpar service. The website is designed to be misleading and their buying system as well as emailing system is broken. I believe that if you get your product all in one piece you might not have a problem with these guys, but if you have trouble with your order in anyway at all they will give you the runaround. If you read the reviews on google and other places they always respond to negative reviews to employ some form of damage control (they never respond to the positive ones for thanks or anything). The catch is they don't take responsibility for anything and even do customer blaming. Read it for yourself. So if you do plan to buy from these guys be prepared for that.
UPDATE: XOTIC PC fully refunded my purchase but still required me to pay return shipping for a product which was DOA. They have informed me that they are taking my feedback regarding the ethics of their policies into consideration but have not made any changes at this time.
Processing and support was slow and impersonal. Somehow they managed to top that with unethical business practices. They do not cover return shipping for DOA products unless you opt for a repair/replacement, leaving you without the product you purchased for even longer. They do not fully refund purchases for DOA products. These terms are clearly spelled out on their website but they are unusual and unethical nonetheless.
Tip for consumers:
Be prepared to be caught up in the buying, waiting, and repair or replacement process for a long time because if you want out (refund) it's going to cost you.

I have bought to Sager laptops from Xoticpc. The first one had the display hinge separate which led to the display failing, when it was less that three years old. It cost me something like 700 dollars to get it repaired.
The second laptop had the motherboard burn up before it was four years old!
Total JUNK!
God forbid you pre-order from this website. If they give you an eta add about 3+ months and then plan on canceling the order because they keep on pushing the date back. When you ask why they blame the carriers, and not themselves for ordering only 1 product at a time. This was confirmed by me setting auto notify dog stock on other websites which constantly got stock when this website never did. DO NOT BUY THROUGH THEM! Save your time and give your money to a site that needs it, that's what I did and wound up getting the product I wanted in 3 days.

I bought a $2500 PC from this company and had to RMA it after only having it for a month. After I got it back everything was fine for about 5 months and then the PC started randomly shutting down and XoticPC wanted 90 dollars just to send it back to them to have them fix it and another 60 to have them ship it back to me. So, 150 dollars later I receive my PC back from them only to find out they didn't fix the problem. I'm sure they'll want another 150 just to not fix it again. They only issue refunds to machines bought in the last 30 days. Steer clear of this company.

Go to Origin or somewhere else for a prebuilt. I regret not building my own and now I'm stuck with a lemon

Years back when I was about to buy an Asus I was very excited to find one on Xoticpc. That died out really fast when I placed an order they gave me an email saying would you like a 750Gb instead of an 1Tb. I cancelled the order, because apparently they didn't have what I was looking for instock despite the product being on their sales page. It wasn't out of stock as it said on there. They charged me a restock fee anyways even though I didn't have the product shipped to us at all. Do not trust this company or buy MSI or Asus products.
Xotic PC has to have the worst customer service in the United States. I recommend no one purchase from them. They refuse to answer any call one they have identified your phone number. I spend $ 2,800.00 on a PC and I am getting nickeled and dime about a bad 2TB drive that has never worked. Trevor H is my sales person. Useless. I totally recommend for no one to use them.

Within 6 months my XOTIX PC start up was slower and slower had to hire my own PC tech company who called XOTIC while he was in my house and they discussed issues - Conclusion either bad mother board or re-set windows. We reset windows - problem remains sent PC back told it was fixed got it back it is not fixed screen locks up again. Called XOTIC I want a new PC Spent over $4K on this thing I use it 10-12 hours a week average. I'm retired I've used laptops for years with my career. Never had this kind of issues with HP business class or toshibas. So final words from XOTIC is I need to re-set windows every time my computer starts locking up What a load of crap Do not buy one of these they just get their computers from ASUS customize it to your preference and ship it off. Anything goes wrong you are screwed
I custom ordered a $3900 AMD desktop from Xotic PC. I specified a normal fan cooler but they sent a liquid cooler. The CPU runs at 70C idle and 90C with any app includuing just surfing the net! If I multitask on three screens it shutsdown for overheat protection. I complained and they gave me things to try. I am now past the 30 day return window and although they are offering to fix it, under my 3 yr warranty, shipping is on the customer! Even for warranty work on a part I didn't want! A new cooler would be cheaper than one way shipping. So void the remainder of the 3 yr warranty and fix it myself? Yes!
If you don't have the ability to fix a broken PC, don't purchase from Xotic PC!

Like one of the negative reviewers here mentioned, I actually went with Dell initially because it's a well known, established company. However, after 4 weeks with no laptop (high end, > $3,500USD), and multiple calls to India with no help, terrible customer service, I just cancelled my order.
I came to ZOTICPC's website and opened an online chat. They were very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable. I built a system with better specs, added rush delivery and 3-day shipping and it was still $100 less than what I was going to pay with Dell. I placed my order on a Friday and it shipped out Monday evening, this was a custom build, not something ready to be shipped.
The laptop showed up a day early on Wednesday, looks and works great! That's less than 5 business days from clicking the Order button until it was in my hands on the other side of the country.
Like any business dealing with hardware that, let's face it, is not being manufactured here in the U.S. (by any company), there are going to be some bad apples. Perhaps I was lucky, who knows, what I do know is that every single step of the process was handled in a friendly and professional manner, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I bought a mid-tier gaming laptop from them about 7 months ago. Their pre-sales support was good, and I'm generally happy with the PC and buying experience but I have two problems that knock off stars on the rating.
First, I had them install an upgraded SSD because they had a good offer on it. In installing it, they left tool marks on the case. This isn't something you want to see when you spend $1,600 on a laptop. Under different circumstances I probably would have sent it back, but one, I don't think they had another of the same model to replace it with and the model was hard to find in the first place, and two, I live outside the US and was back visiting family at the time so time was a factor. Shipping internationally wasn't an option because of customs duties and such.
Second, the buttons on the track pad aren't very responsive. Frequently I'll get the tactile "click" without the corresponding button press. I didn't notice this for a while because I almost always use a mouse, but I've started using the track pad more and it's pretty bad. This may or may not be their fault, and I'm probably just as likely to blame ASUS, but if you left pry marks on my case, it makes me go? What else did you eff up?
The value for money was good, and I'm not mad enough for a one-star review, but the kid that swapped out the SSD should be smacked around a little.

First of all, spend several months and the computer now requires RMA, Xotic was unable to help took me several times to request that RMA, then when I wanted to correct my review for them, they played dum-dum, all of them like they will put the request to correct it, that was my third time to request that correction as I am still waiting for my computer from RMA. If you know other suppliers use them Xotic will create nothing but stress and you will waste more money. Also heard sager is good, but $1400 machine with upgrades should not break down so quickly. The issue is screen not coming back from sleep, it wasn't software.
User's recommendation: Avoid Xotic and Sager, plenty of choive.
Okay, so i had the worst experience with this $#*!hole of a business. The customer service team is absolute garbage ( ERIN & ALEX im looking at you). They have no idea what they are doing and were no help when i had to exchange my laptop. I would have had more success talking to a broom. They sent me a damaged computer and claimed it wasnt their fault, i sent it in after hours of convincing and they SENT IT BACK TO ME EVEN MORE A
DAMAGED... WTF. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE NIGHTMARE AND NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS TRASH COMPANY.
They will tell you what you want to hear, follow it up with some lies and tell you you are $#*! out of luck when they fail to send you want you paid for! Stay away!

This company is absolutely scamming everyone you don't get your money's worth and horrible customer service!
"They sold me a pc they didn't have! I waited 12 days for them to tell me (When I complained) that they didnt have it in stock! It was coming from the manufacturer. Not the way to do bussiness or keep steady customer base. They might want to adjust their business practices or go out of. I CANCELED!" IN STOCK SHOULD MEAN IN STOCK! Not Drop shipper! Go ANYWHERE ELSE! UPDATE: If you finance your PC you lose the deposit. Xotic claims to the PC is "IN STOCK" with a MONTH out wait!
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

As a non-gamer directed to the XOTIC PC site by ASUS.com, I didn't know XOTIC PCs were shipped to XOTIC PC in Nebraska by the manufacturer (ASUS is in Taiwan) AFTER client order, are then customized and checked, and therefore take much longer to arrive. At first, I was worried about my order. XOTIC Customer Advocate Alex helped out, though, and found me a comparable in-stock on-sale option that could be shipped from Nebraska to me right away. It's not the exact computer I was looking for, but close, and I'm relieved it won't take a couple of months. (I wouldn't recommend the cash discount option, too, it can add up to 21 days to your order.) UPS says my PC was shipped yesterday. So, many kudos to Alex! Great troubleshooting, smart thinking to fix the issue, and courteous customer care by Alex! I can't wait to see how the PC works when I receive it on Tuesday. If it's absolutely fantastic, I'll up my rating...
P.S. I received the ASUS laptop, and have upped my rating. This is a fantastic machine; very fast, 3 USB ports, amazing sound quality, quiet and really cool-running, and all-around beautiful screen quality. Love it.
Early morning on Black Friday, I came across XoticPC's deal on the MSI Raider GE-63 and decided to buy it.
A few hours later, while purchasing a laptop sleeve on Amazon, I needed to check the laptop's dimensions to see if it would fit. So I visit the XoticPC store page and notice the laptop is $250 cheaper than when I bought it.
Now, I realize I'm not entitled to any form of rebate. Company policy is that they don't match prices for promotions (they later told me in an email).
But that's precisely the reason I wouldn't purchase anything else from the company. Their policies are ridiculous. Newegg, for example, offers price match for the entire month of November, but XoticPC doesn't even offer it for a few hours!
The worst part is that I could have just canceled my order and reordered with the sale price but customer support took 3 days to get back to me and I didn't realize they had ridiculous business policies. Apparently, employing customer service representatives on the busiest shopping day of the year is too much to ask for.
TL; DR
Ordered a laptop early Black Friday, went on sale $250 cheaper a few hours later, but couldn't get a refund.
Awful company. Stay Away.:: Edited to Add::
After dealing with customer "support," I've cancelled my order.
First they claimed it was against their policy. Then, they claimed it was a clerical error. After that, they claimed the laptop wasn't even on sale during Black Friday. Yet I have email proof that it was.
AWFUL BUSINESS. They probably sell refurbished PCs as "custom made." Don't trust these liars.
So, I ordered an Xotic Laptop from Xotic PC. I had the 5900hx with the 3080 16g card. 2 tb m. 2 samsung HD and 32 gigs of ram. I also paid for a clean windows install. With debloating and a screen calibration.
When I finally received the unit, it crashed within 15 min of startup. No apps were installed, it just crashed. Then it kept crashing every 20 min or so. THEN the screen went out. This all happened within 2 days.
So, I did a little research. This company has a timeline of the production of your unit. The company CLEARLY states that the computer will go through 3 to 6 days of testing before shipment. These "People" (term used loosely) spent 2.5 hours after the unit was put together on testing and installing windows... So I know why it crashed now.
When I asked for my money back, they couldn't even give me that! They charged me for services that were not rendered. There was NO documentation on the screen calibration, the fan curve was at MAX and stuck there. How the HELL can a company do this to their customers. They charged me 250 dollars for a computer that I never even got to use..
Tip for consumers:
Do not buy from this company!

Disastrous; faulty unit had a complete blowout in less a year.
Had a need for a new computer; never went with XOTICPC before, but heard good things, so I figured I'd give them a try; MSI laptop ran fine for about a year, then had a blowout; at first, I thought it just needed a new power supply; XOTICPC arranged shipping to MSI; MSI inspected the unit, determined the entire laptop had a blowout, needed full replacement, and provided a quote which was roughly the cost of the entire unit; I refused this course of action, and instead requested the unit be shipped back to myself so I could get a hard drive restore/transfer performed once I had a new laptop.
At the time of initial purchase, I figured I had gotten a decent deal on a model that was going out of circulation. In retrospect, now, I get the feeling I only ended up dropping ~$1.5k on failed hardware MSI was offloading.
They also have the audacity to send you a link to review their product - which goes to a dead page, so you can't review their garbage.
Three laptops. The first two cost just at $1000. Both of those laptops fell apart as their cases starting dissolving, starting at the hinges. Both of these breakdowns started at ~ 16 months. I don't travel with my personal laptop so this was just normal wear-and-tear closing the lid before I went to bed. The laptops didn't leave my couch.
So I'm such a genius, I figure that my problem is that I'm buying the "low rent" gaming laptops. I drop $2200 on yet another Sager laptop from XoticPC. This one lasts only 15 months before the hinge locks, the bezel breaks, and the second hinge cracks the case.
These are NOT well made laptops. The first two laptops I RMA'd three times. The third $2200 laptop I refuse to throw one good cent more after bad. And these laptops are BAD.
The Sager batteries, brand new, are lucky to last 45 minutes. I can't even smoke a cigar on my lanai without the cigar outlasting the Sager battery.
My $2200 laptop had some kind of issue with the speaker. I could barely hear it at max volume.
THESE ARE NOT GOOD LAPTOPS AND NOT GOOD INVESTMENTS.
This was a multiple bid process for a company. After speaking with their staff directly, and multiple times, an order was placed on December 13th. They did advise it would take upwards of 20 days, but that all the parts were available.
Instead of waiting till the shipping date before charging our credit card, they charged it immediately. You would think if they charged us for it, that all of the parts would be set aside in a bin to wait in line so they could build it.
No.
The CPU wasn't actually in stock and they knew this, or they were exceptionally incompetent with an inadequate inventory tracking system.
They never told us that our parts weren't available, and wouldn't be till the end of January 2022. Today is Feb 10th, 2022, and they're still not available.
COVID and international shipping delays are not XoticPC's fault, but it is their fault for lying about part availability for a month. We weren't told about the availability problem till the end of December. Just empty promises that we would need to be patient for the normal build process that could take 20 days.
NEVER buy anything from this company. They charge you up front regardless of whether or not they actually have to the stock to fulfill the order.
They're customer service is abhorrent. A bunch of empty platitudes, and they couldn't even answer questions about the laser etching of our company logo on the side after two months.
A horrible deceptive company that only cares to take your money, but not deal with you honestly.
Tip for consumers:
Don't believe a damned thing Xotic PC tells you. They just lie and delay.

Xotic-PC is the kind of company that once they put their name on a product, they keep their customers' happiness and satisfaction bundled with an unmatchable customer care experience. About two years ago, I accidentally found their advertisement on Instagram and decided that I no longer had the urge to build my own PCs. Buying parts from Newegg just seemed like too much of a hassle, so I went with Xotic. My new Avanger arrived beautifully packaged and fully functional, equipped with blinding LED lights and a fresh copy of Windows. I was impressed, to say the least. But about twenty months later, the motherboard crashed and the drive followed. Given that the PC was under constant pressure from running 24/7, I could not blame Xcotic-PC, not even could I blame myself for that matter, but my lack of time and effort to fix it, led me to the point where I decided to just place this responsibility in someone else's hands, and trust me, even Geek Squad asked me if I wished to donate it. Then, just when I finally forced myself to take the matter into my own hands, I sent an email to the company requesting help with saving time on digging up the information for the new parts, when they just asked, "would like to ship it". Zero obligations, 100% free. WOW, was I surprised not even two weeks later. And the best part is that the warranty wasn't even included when I originally purchased my desktop, it was added on later as a "Limited Lifetime Service Policy" to every model ever purchased from the company that actually cares for what they sell to the masses, and if you value trust, I wouldn't spend my dime elsewhere.
