We became Zillow Premier agents 5/29/24. Our first experience was a showing "no show," that was double booked with another Zillow agent, at the same property, 30 minutes prior. Agent support could not explain how this could happen. We agreed to paying $800/month for 4 leads who Zillow said would be verified pre-screened, pre-qualified leads that are ready to buy and are requesting to book appointments. This lead counted as one. With multiple calls, emails, and an escalation to supervisors, Zillow still has no explanation how this happened. They have now credited $250.00 for this one lead. In 2 months, we have had 2 bookings, both no shows. 2 calls were customers who already have agents, 2 calls were customers who requested to speak with listing agent only, 1 who pushed button to speak with for sale by owner, and none who were pre-qualified or ready to buy. In addition, we had multiple messages that we had missed a Zillow connection call, though our phones did not ring. We connected two phones to our account to ensure that we didn't miss calls and troubleshooted re-uploading app, resetting phone options, etc. and could still not answer calls once they did ring. Each of these went against our answer % rate and showed as missed or declined. When we received other calls they repeatedly failed to connect though we answered every time. We reported this multiple times through calls and emails and requested a refund. Agent support assured us that they were working to resolve and app was being updated and problem was being reported to their engineers then committed to follow up but would not return calls nor have ever provided compensation. Each failed lead was a missed opportunity to connect with a potential client which is impossible to put a price on. None of this was due to our phone system or lack of understanding how to answer. Our phone works perfectly for our other leads and clients every other day. Our phones are our business. We looked at a lot of reviews on other platforms and now realize how bad it is. Zillow has dropped the value of our home in less than a week by almost $15,000. Our home is for sale the closest comp is a home that recently sold for $300,000, but zillow is comparing our home to a trashed short sale house in the neighborhood. We are planning on filing a lawsuit. Zillow is not to be trusted they fabricate information that damages the value of your property. DO NOT TRUST ZILLOW FOR ANY REASON!
I applied for 3404 helix st, 1 bd appartement for cdcpm a lady was contacting me every day by emails asking for different kind of papers and proves for me and my daughters after many many Email contacts and after i gave them all needed information and paid $70 for the application they answered unfortunately you application Denieded without knowing the reason why they just like to collect application as many as they can they said they chossed someone els today i am checking the appartment in this site it is still available! In the box for comments, I asked for the floor plans and interior pictures to a house, and in capitals wrote DO NOT CALL. I did this twice. Both times the real estate agents do not get the message, call me, and never send me the floor plans and pictures I want. What a waste.

Zillow has inaccurate estimates on residential homes. I will no longer use Zillow. I found when looking on the Zillow website they are often far from the actual selling price.
If you pay the $29 after a few weeks your credit check and background check will not work so you can not submit a application to any rental you are interested in. Do not use their background check

Let me just say for the record. I am a THREE TIME LOSER. I am writing this in hopes that you will not lose once.
I used this company several years ago. I got almost nothing of value out of it. As memory serves not one sale. I discontinued but went back to them in 2017 after closing a huge sale. This time I made one sale which basically allowed me to break even. And then this year--like an idiot... I went back for 700.00 month. This time they put me in a zip code I was not comfortable with but like an IDIOT I trusted them. I DID NOT GET ONE LEAD IN TWO MONTHS. They keep saying you have to give it a chance. How many cars do you have to get hit with or how many times must you smash your finger with a hammer to determine its not the highest and best use of your time?
These people are con artist. Its not that deep. I am ashamed that I did not know better--but now you know better. Beware. Pick up the phone, pay for post cards, get a part timer to call but dont flush it down the zillo toilet stool.
According to Zillow, the value of my property was going up, up, up between 2011 and 2012, despite the fact that real estate prices overall in my neighborhood were fairly stagnant. In fact, they estimated that it had almost doubled in value. Based upon what?
But since 2011, my property has been going down, down, down, despite the fact that the real estate market in my neighborhood has gone up slightly in the past couple of years.
The comparison graphs for my neighborhood vs. my house show my neighborhood going up and down slightly, but my house went up sharply, nearly doubling in value, and then dropped precipitously to below the estimate in 2011. And this does not at all dove tail with what was happening in the local market.
Seeing what they have down with the estimates for my home, I can never take their estimates seriously again. Despite the fact that housing prices in my neighborhood have been gradually recovering, mine has been dropping by about 30K per month for the past year. I would love to know the calculus that goes into Zillow's apparent estimate nonsense.
To look at property it's good but when you're interested in a property the realtor never gets back to you & when they do they don't know anything about it. You're shuffled back & forth!

Zillow just accept positive reviews for agents and do not accept and post negatives one. That why we can see just all good for agents. So, I believe those reviews are not trust able.
A company that purchases homes should not bother showing a lot line map. Every good moderately priced home is pending. Why bother looking at the lot line map.

Putting it another way, if Zillow continues to fail to pay attention to its users, it will eventually simply collapse. There is virtually no way to get help from Zillow if there are listing errors.
Maybe it's my Droid, but 2/3 of my screen is an area map. If I want to see the info on an address, I want it full screen. Why can I hide the home's details but not the map?
Zillow signed a contract to purchase my rental house in Phoenix. I had tenants in the house and, as per the contract, had to let them go before the closing date. However, 9 days before the closing, Zillow cancelled the contract due to Coronavirus (although, there was no such clause in the contract). As a result, not only that the house won't be sold and I wasted countless hours in the closing process, more importantly, I lost steady rent revenue which I need to pay mortgage, property taxes, insurance, and it's almost impossible to find a new tenant in this pandemic situation. To make the matter worse, I live in New York City, which is the hardest stricken part of the US by the pandemic, and there is a real possibility that I may lose my job (not to mention sick or worse) as countless of New Yorkers already did. Because of that, I may lose my ability to pay mortgage and end up in the streets, especially now that I cannot count on the rent revenue. Zillow offered $5k in earnest money, however, they ended up paying me only $1,000 because "I did not respond within 48 hours" although I have email evidence that never said the offer expires after 48 hours. (I wonder where that money went to.) Horrible, horrible experience

Here's my experience. Listed our property April 1,2016 at $479k. Sold August 4,2016 at $475k. Zillow helped by creating exposure for our home. Zillow hurt through it's "Zestimates." Zillow's Zestimates kept downgrading the price for our home, constantly telling prospective buyers that it wasn't worth the asking price. Ouch! By the time we sold, the "Zestimate" had our property valued at $283k. That hurt. Zillow does-not-have-a-clue about the worth of your property.

Ms. Kara Schug, had our home sold in Tijeras, NM in ten days and, it was a water haul (low producing well). That was in May 2015. There was no holding back on the listing; it was a water haul.
Kara, knows the East Mountains of the Albuquerque, NM area. There are idiosyncrasies with those properties and she knows how to present them to the buyers. Very few in town realtors and few of the east mountain realtors are versed enough to detail these situations in the positive way needed to sell your property.
She is pumped. She hits the market ready to sell your home w/o hesitation. She can read the market for it's highs and lows and when time for listing approaches, "Let's do it now.".
During the selling process contact with her is at any time. Call her, text her or, email her; she's responding within very reasonable times.
She's a professional. OK, she's with Remax Pros but, outside of that I strongly recommend you call her for your real estate needs. Her opinion is well worth the call. Too she's a real nice lady.
