In almost all cases tenants pay between six and 18% premium plus a 2 1/2% deduction for Credit card payments after the property owner pays $400 to advertise on their site. We became Zillow Premier agents 5/29/24. Our first experience was a showing "no show," that was double booked with another Zillow agent, at the same property, 30 minutes prior. Agent support could not explain how this could happen. We agreed to paying $800/month for 4 leads who Zillow said would be verified pre-screened, pre-qualified leads that are ready to buy and are requesting to book appointments. This lead counted as one. With multiple calls, emails, and an escalation to supervisors, Zillow still has no explanation how this happened. They have now credited $250.00 for this one lead. In 2 months, we have had 2 bookings, both no shows. 2 calls were customers who already have agents, 2 calls were customers who requested to speak with listing agent only, 1 who pushed button to speak with for sale by owner, and none who were pre-qualified or ready to buy. In addition, we had multiple messages that we had missed a Zillow connection call, though our phones did not ring. We connected two phones to our account to ensure that we didn't miss calls and troubleshooted re-uploading app, resetting phone options, etc. and could still not answer calls once they did ring. Each of these went against our answer % rate and showed as missed or declined. When we received other calls they repeatedly failed to connect though we answered every time. We reported this multiple times through calls and emails and requested a refund. Agent support assured us that they were working to resolve and app was being updated and problem was being reported to their engineers then committed to follow up but would not return calls nor have ever provided compensation. Each failed lead was a missed opportunity to connect with a potential client which is impossible to put a price on. None of this was due to our phone system or lack of understanding how to answer. Our phone works perfectly for our other leads and clients every other day. Our phones are our business. We looked at a lot of reviews on other platforms and now realize how bad it is. I downloaded the app and want to save favorites but that requires registering through Facebook. I cancelled Facebook so now it appears there is no way to register which is extremely frustrating. It seems ridiculous that that you need to have Facebook to register for Zillow.
Zillow is horrible, the status of my house is on sale, but I just bought it, how come? I really wonder it is a system error(programming mistake) or someone false post it? How we can trust Zillow because of all these constant false information. IT is really BAD!

All the listings i tried to contact had ads posted by real estate agents/brokers did not respond or unreliable to respond. I think it is unprofessional to allow these real estate /brokers agents to post. With out verifying if they are professional real estate agents. I got email asking if i got a response stating they will follow up. No follow up or response

Zillow is a site for buying and selling real estate and has a section to review restate agents. However, if the agent in not employed by you you cannot write a review, even if the other parties agent costs you a sale as recently happened to me.
Also today I find the listing for a neighbor's house up for sale includes a photo of my house. Totally incompentet.
Not recommended.

I'm a renter trying to find a place in the Pacific Northwest and for the last month+ I've found the search results for Zillow to be infuriatingly inaccurate. Houses show up on my searches as being within my rent range (or get sent to me in daily bulletins of houses that match my search criteria) but when I click to see the detail the rent is hundreds of dollars higher. Other times both the search results and the details page match in rent for a few days, but will jump back up in price after a few days. I'm going to have to just give up on using this service to find my new place. Disappointing for sure.
Bad experience with Zillow rep. OK to use their free stuff, will never have any cash relationship with Zillow. It is a trip, very hard to get out and the rep very unprofession when you want to get out. Worse than break up with your girlfriend or boyfriend.
There is a new listing, a single family house mostly updated, freshly painted, and new appliances but still shows the previous photos at the time tenants lived at the property.
Those zestimate are terrible, far from reality.
So far I couldn't find anybody from Zillow to correct it.

If you want detailed information about homes for sale, this is not the site for you. The listing details don't include rooms and their sizes. Many of the details are all run together in one huge paragraph that is very difficult to read.
The Zestimates are often either way too high or way too low. I looked up one related sale that was way below market for a property and there was no such sale! It brought the Zestimate which was not right.
I have been searching on Zillow for rentals for over a month.
I have used every source imaginable, from contact property, to leaving voicemails at the listed number and out of over 25 attempts, I had ONE actual response that led to a viewing. What I encountered was inquiring to tour property and receiving back either NO response or someone telling me that they have no vacancies; so then WHY is the listing still up?! This wastes people's time.
The last thing is that when people do respond, they take so long to respond that by the time they do the property is already rented. Zillow is a useless site.

I don't know how they figure prices. In my neighborhood a 2 bedroom 1700 sq. Ft. House sold for 490,000 dollars and the house across the street sold for 520,000 and it was a 3 bedroom 1730 sq. Ft. House. When you go on Zillow and check the price of my house which is 3 bedroom 1828 sq. Ft. House it's listed by Zillow as 426,000. The zestimates are completely inaccurate.
This site can be helpful, if you ignore the "Zestimates" and expect a lot of out-of-date listings. The Zestimate for my listing was about 30% high. Then it dropped suddenly by about 60%, and eventually sold for a price nowhere near ether figure. It's still listed on Zillow although it was sold almost two months ago. Instructions for removing the listing don't work. Neither do the instructions for reporting a problem. The mapped location for the address was about two miles off in the middle of a cranberry marsh.
OUR FAMILY posted house for sell on Zillow.com and in 5 day price of our house changed 3 times for no reasonable reason! From 202,000 to 251,000 to 200,000? We got our own appraisal and get price over 50,000 more not only of professional appraiser but on REALTOR.COM also, but Zillow shown 50,000 less. What a SCAM!
We tried to contacted them, but only got automated respond. It algorithm, not us. If you don't know how to do it right, don't do it!
Zillow always came in lower than what I thought properties were worth. I am selling my property and got offers 20% higher than what Zillow says. If your a seller don't listen to Zillow and look at market itself and if your a buyer don't listen to Zillow or you will miss your opportunity and get outbid on potential dream house.
I had a bad experience with a realtor... but he had only five star reviews, so I submitted mine, respectfully and within guidelines. Little did I know that my review never, never was published, and he continues to have only five star reviews. What a joke.
Have have asked Zillow/Trulia to take my home pictures off of their website. My home has been bought a year and 2 months now. They refused and said any MLS can contact them and take it down. We are not in good standing with the Realtors because of the unprofessional way our home was sold. RealtySouth called and now their saying it has to be the Realtor that sold the home. They are in total violation of our privacy and Attorneys has been contacted.
I just looked up my house. I have no vinyl floors yet zillow said I did. I have hardwoods and stone tile downstairs. There is carpet and stone tile upstairs. There was no vinyl when I bought the house ten years ago. Talk about not updating their info! The picture of the outside isn't even updated. I can't imagine how this will help buyers or sellers. I personally wouldn't waste my time with zillow.

They don't want factual information and they are very inaccurate on their estimates. For example, I am actually renting my house for $150 a month more than their estimate, but they didn't want to know that. It is a very harmful website because their lowball numbers actually lower property and rental values. They refuse to say where they get their numbers from, but obviously they don't it based on reality.
I found a house for rent 1603 Harrisburg pike Columbus Ohio on zillow online made a appointment to see house online then called cause they didn't email me to confirm a man called me back a day later and said I didn't have a appointment then said he was showing several people the same property to be there today 10/13/17 at 1:00. I was alittle over 5 mins early and stayed until 1:10 with no 1 showing up. I called the number who called me and they are closed leave message. Didn't leave message but their business sucks and whoever owns this property I hope you see this.
