I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.

Doordash didn't recognize a valid gift card that I applied to an order. OK, I cancelled the order and received an email confirmation of that confirmation. Doordash did not cancel the order with the local company and charged my card. I cancelled for that reason within 1 minute of placing the order and they only refunded me for 75% of the charge and put the balance on credit. I called and reminded them I have used doordash 2 times in the last 5 years and will never use them again...no desire to engage from their side so I will call this out to my bank as FRAUD, which it truly is. Bogus for doordash to rely on draconian "fix the glitch" methods to make money. Wish I could give them zero stars.

The $3 credit for using your photo *******@DoorDash app is a fraudulent *******@DoorDashImpact has used 5 of my photos and I've only received credit for 1 photo, but I had to fight for it. I will not *******@DoorDash again, until I receive my $3 credit for each photo.

I placed an order for an office for 14 people. The restaurant made the order and the dasher went and picked up the order, almost $300. I then received a notification from Doordash saying that something had happened with my order and it had been cancelled. I called the restaurant and they said that this happens all the time with Doordash. So the driver kept the order and Doordash did nothing about it. I will never use Doordash again. Ubereats has much better customer service. When I contacted them, they were rude and not helpful and pretty much told me to deal with it or I could place another order. I guess if I ever want free food I will just work for Doordash since this is common with their drivers. Worst company ever!

DoorDash is under contract with my local grocery store for deliveries. This is the second time No one showed up to the store to pick up and deliver my groceries. No phone calls no nothing just the employee didn't bother to show up. They saved me the $40 I was going to give the driver for a Christmas tip and they've also lost a Monthly customer for grocery deliveries because I will pick up my own groceries from now on JUST SO I CAN AVOID USING DOORDASH AGAIN

DoorDash refused to refund my money on an order and refused to deliver the order or any future orders! To put it mildly, I'm not happy!
What happened is that DoorDash suddenly started glitching for my address and while the correct address has been submitted for my orders, they are now sending my orders to a town 25 minutes away! They also do this if I order directly from a restaurant who has chosen to use DoorDash for delivery, so this is extra inconvenient!
So not only do I have to avoid using DoorDash, I have to check with restaurants and make sure they don't use DoorDash for their deliveries. And now I have a "credit" that I can't spend. Thanks a lot DoorDash!
I've paid DoorDash five figures over the years, yet both phone calls and chats on this problem were completely useless. No one cared.

Live and work in the Rapid City area. Don't always have time to cook, but after a dozen or so issues with this I'm done. In the last three months alone: I've had two orders stolen, at least four where the main items were missing or just wrong, and several issues with drivers delivering to the wrong address.
I understand that delivering to an apartment complex, so I try to make my subtext as specific as possible to help make it as precise as possible and avoid confusion. Yet time and again, I have multiple issues with drivers just not bothering to read the delivery instructions or just being lazy and getting close and calling it good.
Tack on that every time there's an issue, support is either actively unhelpful or spends longer deflecting than it took to deliver the order. Today, I waited for nearly an hour for my order, only for it to arrive stone cold and with the wrong drink. My driver didn't even bother to read the ticket and deflected when I asked how he could get the entire thing so obviously wrong. Support was only willing to compensate for the order being cold, and only at $3 compensation. I'm done using these guys. I would never recommend them and I can't in good conscience do it here.

They always find a bait-and-switch way to overcharge you. It doesn't matter what payment you authorize; they'll hike up the final payment. If you complain, they'll give you a credit for a future order, which let's them scam you again. They never offer a refund.Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Wish I could give negative stars. Placed an online order for pickup, but when I got to the restaurant, they uncrumpled the receipt they had for me and then they informed me that they didn't have 90% of the food I ordered and could not fulfill the order. I left without a single item of food, but they charged me anyway. I contacted them for a refund and they informed me that the restaurant made the food, and it was picked up. WHICH IS A LIE. How can they make food they didn't have for me to pick up? They will not refund me. Scam artists. Jumping through hoops to get MY money back is ridiculous. Will not use doordash ever again.

Very baaad service. On October 15,2024, I ordered a crispy pork dish t but received French fries and fried chicken instead. I reported the wrong delivery immediately, hoping to place a corrected order. Doordash agent assured me the refund would be processed in minutes, so I waited so I could reorder from the same merchant.
The refund never came, and by the time I checked again, the merchant had already closed. My dinner was ruined, and their failure wasted my time. This is unacceptable. I had spoken with a total of 4 agents once over the phone and three times via online chat and I was told first, that I would receive a response from DoorDash within 24 hours. I never did receive any response. Then I had spoken with another agent via online chat and I was told my case was being reviewed and I would get a response within 3 hours of my email. NO response. Another one said, 24 hours. Then another one said, within 1 hour. It has been more than 3 days and until now, I have not received any communication from DoorDash. How hard is it to give me back my $25?The merchant had said they had issued a refund and yet they are still figuring out how to pay me back my $22. Worse, they hung up on you when you want your money back. The WORST FOOD DELIVERY COMPANY IN THE WORLD. If I could give them a negative score, I would.

DEAR DOORDASH:
I am writing to express my absolute outrage over how DoorDash has handled my refund request for an order placed on October 15,2024. The way your company conducts business is nothing short of disgraceful, unethical, and outright dishonest. The complete disregard for your customers, the blatant lies, and the manipulative stalling tactics I've encountered are appalling and unacceptable.
To recap: I ordered a crispy pork dish but received French fries and fried chicken. I immediately reported the error, and your first agent assured me that my refund would be issued without delay. Since I used credits to place the order, I requested the refund be issued in credits. Predictably, this promise was never kept. No refund came.
The following day, I followed up only to be told by a second agent that the first agent had made a "mistake" and my case was now under review. They promised me a response in 3 hours—yet again, no response came. What followed was an infuriating series of lies and incompetence:
One agent told me to wait 24 hours—nothing happened.
Another repeated the 24-hour promise—again, nothing.
The last agent said I would get a response in an hour—once again, nothing.
This is not just bad customer service—this is deceit. Your agents have deliberately lied, stalled, and misled me every step of the way. When I tried to escalate the issue, I was hung up on. After a week of these unethical tactics, I received a brief message from a supervisor, Manoj, stating that my refund was denied without any explanation. This is not just disappointing—it's downright disgraceful.
Why is DoorDash withholding money that does not belong to you? The merchant confirmed that the refund was issued, yet DoorDash continues to withhold my $22 without any valid reason. This is more than just poor business—it is dishonest and unethical. You are holding onto my money with no justification, and this behavior verges on fraudulent.
DoorDash's behavior in this situation reflects the worst kind of business practices: deceptive promises, a complete lack of transparency, refusal to take responsibility, and a shameless disregard for the customers who keep your company afloat. This is a systemic issue that goes far beyond one refund—it's a disgraceful reflection of your company's values, or lack thereof.
I am not asking for anything more than what is rightfully mine. I demand my refund immediately. I also demand that this letter be escalated to the CEO and President of DoorDash, as they need to be made fully aware of the unethical, dishonest, and incompetent service their staff is providing. The way this situation has been handled is unacceptable, and it must be addressed at the highest levels.
If my refund is not processed immediately, I will have no choice but to escalate this issue further. I will take this public through formal complaints and reviews, exposing DoorDash's unethical and disgraceful business practices. This is your final opportunity to make this right.

Sun Pacific Organic Green Grapes (1.5 lb) Grapes were disgusting. The bag wasn't even half full, but they looked like they were rotten, old and expired. It looked like mold was starting to grow in the bag.TARGET shouldn't be selling rotten food, the Doordash driver shouldn't be selecting rotten food for their customers, and Doordash shouldn't be ok with all of this & actually expect their customers to pay for rotten food they never should've even received because it belongs in the garbage!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I REPORTED ISSUE TO DOORDASH AND THEY DENIED MY REFUND REQUEST, EVEN THOUGH YOU CAN CLEARLY TELL BY LOOKING AT THE PHOTO THAT THEY ARE ROTTEN. DoorDash is a joke. It pays drivers bare minimum to put thousands of miles on their personal vehicle. I put almost 60,000 in one and a half years. Do not recommend anybody use this platform to deliver or purchase. These Asians are making a killing off of the lazy American people. And if I'm being quite honest for every single disrespectful customer there was I remembered their address and you better believe I spit in their drink or farted feces on their food. I ordered Pie from one place and ice cream from another. It was delivered to the wrong address. I could see them going the wrong way on the app and tried to contact them through the website but it was too late. It had already been delivered to the wrong place. So they said they would redeliver. They didn't tell me it was too late to get the pie until I saw on the app they didn't pick it up and inquired. Once again I could see on the app the driver leaving my area without coming here and contacted them again. They had again delivered it to the wrong place and though they promised me a refund and at least didn't charge me for the pie, they did charge me for the ice cream. I had to go through my credit card company to dispute the charge. Uber gives you a number you have to give to the driver to get your order, so they can't really deliver it to the wrong place. Also when you can the tell driver is lost you have a number to call them. Much better. I will never use door dash again.

Don't ever buy any merchandise through DoorDash! We purchased a crib and mattress that didn't function and tried to return it. The Dasher goes into the store pays for everything at target with our credit card does not get a receipt and delivers the merchandise to us. Now come to find out target won't take it back and refund us our money because it isn't showing in their system because it was paid for with our DoorDash account. DoorDash won't give us a refund as they said they can't do that, it isn't allowed. Are you kidding me?! I am so disgusted with DoorDash and their service. I canceled my account and will never use them again. Buyers beware do not trust DoorDash!

This would be a zero star rating. DoorDash does not compensate for items ordered undelivered if you order directly from restaurant. I ordered bagels from Panera. Panera uses DoorDash to deliver. DoorDash did not deliver the items I ordered to me. I called Panera, they told me to contact DoorDash. I contacted DoorDash and was told THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO. When I responded that was unacceptable, couldn't most drivers then get away with not delivering the product, DoorDash ended the chat conversation.

This app used to be a pleasure to use. However, over recent months, I have had so many issues with this platform.
The most recent issue is an order that was placed and the hours of the restaurant said they were operating and open. After placing the order, I called to check on my order directly with the restaurant and they said they closed 30 minutes early that particular night. Therefore, I was never going to get my order and I would've sat and waited all night. Mind you, I've sat and waited all night on two more DoorDash orders just to much later be told that they had no Dashers available to deliver my order.
Therefore, this time, after placing my order, I called just to make sure they're going to deliver my order.
The restaurant said they closed 30 minutes early and they apologized but they said I would need to cancel my order with DoorDash, which I did.
I called the DoorDash representative and explained the situation and the representative said that they would refund my money.
I'm looking back through my bank statements now, about a month later, and I realize I never received my refund! After contacting DoorDash support today, they said you won't be getting a refund now because it's too late. They said there is nothing they can do for me. So I never got my order and DoorDash will not refund my $30!
Avoid doing business with DoorDash at all cost!
