I created my Goldbelly account on October, 2022. During that period, I placed 92 orders in the amount of $18,633.18.
In the beginning, it was easy, convenient, and delicious. Modernly, it is a nightmare. More specifically, customer service representatives like [REDACTED; Goldbelly forced Trustpilot to have me remove a male reps first name; funny given that Goldbelly employees have been cyberstalking me] are an absolute nightmare to deal with, if anything goes wrong. Which, happens frequently.
I do not wish this company on my worst enemy. If reps like [REDACTED; Goldbelly forced Trustpilot to have me remove a male reps first name; funny given that Goldbelly employees have been cyberstalking me] treat a customer who has spent over $18k USD like this, how will they treat you? AVOID! Moreover, in the days since posting this review, [REDACTED; Goldbelly forced Trustpilot to have me remove the first name of a female who purports to be the manager of customer experience; funny given that Goldbelly employees have been cyberstalking me] tried to harass me to take this review down via email and several Goldbelly employees including ones I had never interacted with began viewing my LinkedIn to try and intimidate me.
Now, this review itself Goldbelly is peppering with takedown requests. They are a joke.
They cant face the truth so they try to burry it. Run from these clowns!

My wife and I have ordered from Goldbelly multiple times. Every other time we have ordered from them, we have been extremely pleased with the quality of the product.
However, the most recent order, which was supposed to be 75 day, wet, aged primes, ribeyes, ended up being 75 day, wet aged select steaks. They were absolute trash.
They were filled with gristle and large, thick, fat rivers. There was hardly any marbling too.
We contacted Goldbelly about the low quality of the steaks. They said that they do not take returns but that they would give us $15 off of a future order. This one order was $240. Not cheap.
We will never be ordering from Goldbelly again. They do not care about their customers. They only care about their money.
There are plenty more websites that offer high-quality prime and Wagyu steaks. Goldbelly sucks.

Ordered a Christmas Eve meal for my parents on 12/18, with a delivery date of 12/22. On 12/21 I noticed that the dinner had not shipped. Tried to email customer service and got an automated response that it would be days for an actual response. Checked status again on 12/22. Item had not been shipped. Tried to text, message, call and email customer service. Was told that they had turned off calls and texting and the only way to reach customer service was via email. Emailed again. Automated response received. It's now 12/26. Goldbelly took $200 from me and yet the gift I ordered was never received and I cannot reach this company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!

Gold Belly does a good job of screening their vendors. Everything I've received from them has tasted fresh and been delivered damage free. The cost is higher than I would normally spend but it's worth it to me I highly recommend their cakes for special occasions They are all beautiful.
I placed an order through Goldbelly for 4 pizzas from Pequod's in Chicago, IL. When we lived in Chicago we frequently ate in at Pequod's. We love their pizza! Now that we've moved to Florida, we were thrilled to learn that we could order Pequod's pizza through Goldbelly. The pizzas arrived on time and packed on ice which was all good. However, when we opened the first pizza it appeared to be more charred than normal (and we know Pequod's has a history of some charring around the crust and rim.) We assumed this was just normal. We baked it following the directions on temperature and duration. What came out of the oven was 60% not edible, meaning it was more than slightly burnt, per their own standards, it was chewy to the point of not tasting good as we attempted to chew through the bite. We took pictures of it and threw out the remaining pizza. We immediately notified Goldbelly assuming we got a bad batch which would have been no big deal had they looked at the photos and our complaint and offered a refund. Instead, they sent us a coupon for future use on their website. Why would I spend more money with a company that I received a faulty product from? Later that day we received another email from an individual telling us everyone has different tastebuds and taste is subjective. Had we ordered in at Pequod's and received an over half not edible pizza we would have sent it back. There is nothing subjective about stating that a pizza was more than charred and chewy therefore not edible. Very poor customer service. Needless to say, we will never use Goldbelly again and will contact Pequod's direct, as we are loyal customers, and let them know how terrible this company is with resolving customer service issues.

Ordered pizzas. Got them today and packaging was horrible and 3 pizza's were smashed on one side. My mom ordered lobster rolls and soup. The buns were a joke about a inch wide. Wrote customer service and all Seth had to offer to me was it looks right in the pictures you sent. Buyer beware customer service doesn't care. Should of never strayed away from my taste of Chicago for my pizza's. Sad that between the two orders we spent over 200.00

I ordered 2/12 for a 2/24 delivery. Today is 3/2. It has not left the vendor. I have had to email multiple times and keep being told it will ship, but hasn't shipped. If you need something delivered at a specified time- this is NOT your vendor. Would not use again.

Shipping does not have a timeline, do not use if you need it in a specific time. Was guaranteed for a certain date 10 days out, 3 weeks later and still not shipped.

I ordered three identical meals from Gold Belly. All 3 of them were packed improperly, broke open, and contaminated the rest of the food making it inedible. One of the boxes leaked out all over my floor. Gold Belly refuses to accept responsibility and provide a refund or accept the credit card dispute. In fact they are continuing to fight the dispute with credit card company saying there is nothing they can do.

Horrible. They sent me the wrong product and will assume NO responsibility for it. They don't care—and won't accept food returns. The pictures I sent clearly show a product that I didn't order…the receipt showed wording describing what I DID order, and the picture of the item in the box was something entirely different.
So I'm stuck paying for a lower priced item that I never ordered.
They are 100% wrong—and could literally care less.

- Ordered 1 item: delivery was to be for 14 feb. Did not arrive, and no notice of any kind.
- 15 Feb: receive a notice it will be received on 16 Feb. Didn't need it by then so i asked to cancel.
"Can't cancel an order under 3 days of shipping date"- so my money kept by GB and the vendor and I just need to accept this.
-16 Feb: will not arrive until 7PM. I'm not in the delivery area anymore, and it won't be delivered until 7PM, so no one will be able to receive it.
They offered a lot of apologies, and some misdirection (reminding me how to prepare the food I don't have when I get it/if I get it) but at then end of it, my money is gone, and they don't own the problem= FAIL.
The hardest part is when customer service drowns you in apologies, and "so sorry for YOUR experience, here's a discount to suffer our uselessness again for a little less money than what you spent before".
At the end they're trying to sell you on a spoonful of excuses you know they themselves couldn't swallow if they had to endure the same incompetence they spill on you.
It's a sales portal, and like many other sales, they're not skilled in customer service or ownership. Some of these well named chefs should be careful of brand association

Make sure you read all the fine print. They require an adult signature to deliver but you have no idea when they will so you either stay home all day or you have soup. Was a gift. Very disappointed. Good idea very poor execution. Looking for better providers

Options were good. We were given a delivery date and then got word that the package would arrive three days earlier. That happened to work out well, but I guess in some cases, especially with perishable food, it could have been a problem.
I've ordered many items over the past few years. Generally,, everything has gone well. BUT for several recent orders, things have NOT turned out as promised. Late deliveries; dates changed with little or no notice. Email support is a black hole and telephone support non-existent. Never an offer to make good or to offer a discount or upgrade. Just a general take it or leave it attitude. And if rose their offerings, you will see that they have cut down on the number of products offered or everything is sold out. What once was good is now no longer.
For starters, our cake never showed up. I emailed, called, emailed again, tried commenting on FaceBook page, they deleted my comments. It has been 4 days since the delivery date and still, NO CAKE. The party is tonight. I'll have to go buy one at the store now. This is unforgivable. I will continue to call this company out on as many sites as I can so people will not get taken like we did. There is enough stress at this time of year, I certainly don't need this fiasco. Shame on them!
If you're in no rush and want to over pay, this is your place. We ordered 7 days before requested delivery of 12/24 and part of the order made it and part didn't. No advance notice from customer service, no emails explaining the situation just the standard that they can't control the vendor or UPS and its the busy holiday season. Well if you can't fulfill your orders then don't take them. They offered to refund our money or deliver a week later and then they gave us a $15 coupon good for 30 days, some consolation for a ruined holiday gift. The items are over priced enough to include overnight shipping. Save yourself money and embarrassment and just go directly to the vendor. If not, use at your own risk.
I ordered a $99 smoked fish platter thinking I would receive what was pictured. Not even close. When I voiced my complaint, they told me we do not refund or compensate customers for being unhappy with their products.

Food was nice, portions were small- never could have fed 12, it fed 8 adults. Maybe 12 toddlers... very pricey for what it was though. Ironically, days after I purchased lobster rolls they went on promo 35% off. That's a way fairer price.
The shipping process went exactly as planned. It was a very hot day when the shipment arrived, but everything was still frozen on arrival. We had a lot of fun with the remaining dry ice as a science experiment after unpacking the cakes, which were in perfect condition and nice to look upon. Nice job there. You provided a great service.
The first package was never shipped, so I contacted customer service. Katie was able to proactively handle a bad situation and made it right. I have already referred two new customers (they get theirs Friday in Ft Lauderdale).
