My mortgage payment went missing, back in 2017, even though the check was cashed, and my bank (T D Bank) informed me that someone from inside Mr Cooper had stolen it and cashed it! Payment was recovered, and because I'd contacted John Crudele at the Sunday New York Post, who was about to write an article about my experience, they stopped all the late fees and reinstituted the 125 credit points they had taken from me. Thank God for John, but Mr C took no responsibility and when all was said and done, I received a snotty letter from a senior female executive!
And all of my 61 years I have never experienced such an unscrupulous company. They have ripped off so many customers I cannot believe that they are still in business. They can change their name but they have not changed their practices. I hope To be involved in a class action lawsuit against them. I will hire an attorney to fight them.
