I signed up in scribd for the free trial and downloaded two pdfs of 110 kb and cancelled the free membership for the same day, will i be charged?

I'm afraid since i'm reading that scribd is advertising free trial of 30 days when you're going to charge my visa althought i quick.is this true???

Hi Miguel. Thanks for reaching out. You can cancel your free trial subscription's renewal at any time. You'll still receive your full 30 days, but will not be billed after that. If you do not cancel your subscription before the end of the trial period, your credit card or PayPal account will be billed automatically for the coming month. I cancelled my membership before the 14 day free trial was up. scribd has continued to charge my debit card for two months, at $8.99 per month. numerous emails have to scribd support have not been answered by scribd - and i cannot access the scribd account that i am paying for! mamigatz44@aol.com

I have been wrongly charged 5 times; 2 within 30 days, 3 beyond; the customer service has not get back to me on whether they will refund me at all!
