Called service rep 2 days ago to cancel and was supposed to have cancel. Meanwhile my bank has a 212.00 hold on my account due to walmart charging me twice for the same item. I'll never buy from them again.

This is the second time I ordered bread for delivery and did not receive it. They say there is no bread substitution. How ridiculous is that. If I order Killer Dave's Bread and you don't have it then substitute with another 100% Whole Wheat Bread. If someone orders bread with High Fructose Corn Syrup and you don't have it then substitute with the same kind of bread. It is not rocket science. It is only an issue for those that want gluten free because there is hardly any substitutes and that is a specialty bread.
To have no substitution is an inconvenience for many seniors who can't get out. This is unacceptable and when I get my order I am going to ask for my delivery fee to be deducted. Walmart can do better when it comes to online delivery.
But to say something in closing. I love Walmart. Good prices, good customer service. Just some improvements needed. Happy Thanksgiving.

This morning at 7:09 am, I called the Walmart branch at 3900 Innes Road, Orleans, to confirm their hours. The associate who answered was quite rude; she responded abruptly, saying it was Remembrance Day, and suggested I should have checked the news to know they wouldn't open until 12:30 pm. Before I could finish explaining, she hung up on me.
As someone new to Canada, I wasn't familiar with how Remembrance Day affects store hours, which is why I reached out to confirm. I found it very disappointing that a simple question was met with such a disrespectful response, especially when they were answering the phones. Good customer service should always include clear and respectful communication.

On Dec 26 2023 I purchased a 1.6 Hamilton Beach microwave. I only lasted about 7 months. The unit started to rust about 3 months ago but functioned ok. Today, Aug 1 2024 I noticed a rusted out hole in the interior cooking area. This allowed for exposure of some electrical components. The unit began to make noise and started sparking. I immediatly disconnected the unit and threw it in the trash.DO NOT waste your money. Very poorly made and does not hold up very long. I deposed of it and feel the manufacturer should have too. Very disappointed with the purchase.

Called about order placing issue where I could not take advantage of the free shipping offer for 30 days. The man I spoke to disagreed with what it said on the website even after I repeated it four times as if he did not understand and then he said something like he didn't like the language I was using! I asked to speak to a Supervisor twice and he eventually said he would transfer me but just left on hold. At approximately 13 min. He said he was transferring me to his Supervisor. The Supervisor was better to deal with but was unable to resolve the order issue, as a result of very poor website design so I did not place the order after all for the important item I could not purchase locally but should have been able to! Was on phone for about 29 1/2 minutes.
Too bad simply trying to purchase an item they had in stock online but not in a local store turned into a stressful debacle. If the item was in a local store, a person could simply buy it and leave with it.
Tip for consumers:
They need to fix their website to accept more ways to verify a person!

Do NOT buy from Walmart.com. It is is widely known that Walmart's priority is NOT Walmart.com sales, and they have directed internal staff to not respond to seller or customer complaints about processes for selling or buying merchandise on this network. In fact, I was told by an internal strategy manager that Walmart needs to put a warning on the Walmart.com website to NOT to buy goods from online as both Sellers and the associated customers will not be supported. THIS IS WHY buying through the Walmart Marketplace WILL NEVER BE as good an experience as buying through Amazon. Customers and shareholders would be better off if Walmart closed down the entire online network as Walmart obviously does not care about this network.

Bought a 65" Samsung TV at the 6000 Coit Rd, Plano,TX Walmart in April 2024. The TV quit working July 2024. Samsung instructed me to return it to the retailer, Walmart. Walmart would not accept the return. It was beyond 90 days. Bottom line…Samsung/Walmart sold a defective TV then conspired to make certain that the TV could not be returned. Beware of the scam that Walmart and Samsung are pulling on the public at large.

Order #**************
I had to return an item that was defective, and when I spoke on the phone to the representative, she said that my replacement would arrive between the 30th and the 1st of December. They received my return on the 20th November, and by the third, I still did not have a tracking number for the replacement. When I called them, they told me that I should give it another 48 hours and then if I still didn't have it, they would refund me. I did not authorise a refund, but rather, I said I would wait. Regardless of that, Walmart created a refund that I did not authorise, and it was refunded to a gift card that I no longer possess. I called them to point out their mistakes, and instead of honouring their mistake by placing the funds into my Walmart account, they told me there is nothing they can do. So now, I have paid them for nothing. They aren't even going to send me a replacement. On a separate order, they sent me the wrong item, and when I sent them a photograph to prove that, they never responded.
Tip for consumers:
I plan to pursue this issue until I’m satisfied with the outcome.

Walmart was once a reliable place to pick up just about anything you might need for the home and then some. But ever since Walmart stated that they were "looking forward to working with the Biden administration", I have seen nothing but rapid decline. Sacrificing profit over quality has killed your chain. Serving the public needs is what makes a successful business and community.

Walmart is the worst, they take forever to refund you, their Customer Service Agents when you call them send gift cards as compensation for the bad experiences, that do not work just to appease you, they lie, real sick jokes played on customers, they do not want you to give them a bad review, but do nothing about the problems. Their online tracking for returns is messed up, do real time data or updates. It took forever to return or get a refund, they sent the item in 2 days, but then takes more than a week to return it and longer to get a refund. They have a lot of issues at Walmart, buying online is frustrating, in store too, the attitudes of all.
Tip for consumers:
It really is a sick joke that Walmart customer service email you gift cards as compensation, but they do not work, they really should be ashamed of themselves.

Went into Mason City, Iowa, Walmart and grabbed a pair of $16.95 shoes, a $6.98 pair of gel inserts for the shoes and a package of $3.03 hamburger buns.
Scanned the tag on the shoes and put them into a bag. The back end of the shoes stuck out of the bag several inches as they were size 12W. Scanned the gel pads and was able to barely slip them into same bag as shoes.
Scanned the buns and put into second bag.
Hit button to pay and went to insert credit card in but the pay screen suddenly disappeared and was replaced by a message about clerk needing to come to the self check register.
Clerk comes over with a carrying a phone and presses buttons on it and the register then watches a short film that appears on the cash register that shows the items being checked out. Then the clerk asks me how many items I have. I said "three".
Then the clerk asks what the third item and suggests it was another pair of shoes.
Then she looks in the bag with the shoes for another pair of shoes, which is real strange because the bag doesn't fully contain the one pair of shoes so how exactly would another air of shoes fit in the bag?
Also strange because I saw this clerk another clerk standing a few feet away and I saw them both look at me when I approached the self checkout lanes. I was carrying everything with no cart. So how did another pair of shoes suddenly appear out of nowhere?
Also strange because she just watched a video showing the items I checked out so is he asking me?
I told her the third item were buns.
She then removed the buns from the second bag and scanned them.
I had already scanned the buns, they showed up on the screen as being scanned and scanner beeped to indicate they were scanned.
What the clerk did was remotely override cash register and accuse me of being thief.
I told her to keep the shoes and gel pads. I would have told her to keep the buns also but I promised someone else I would pick them up and didn't have time to go anywhere else.
Not shopping at Wal-Mart any longer.

If you call 1-800-nine-six-six-six-five-four-six "account review" department will pick up the call and claim they can't help you and tell you to call 1-800-nine-two-five-six-two-seven-eight and lie and say it's walmart's corporate phone number when it's the their other customer service phone number. If you call 1-800-nine-two-five-six-two-seven-eight "lost packages" department will pick up the call and also make excuses as to why they "can't" help you. Both have a 25-25 minute hold time since they have no live chat or email anymore. No more chat, no more email and now bizzare stuff happening with their customer service phone numbers. Looks like to flood the corporate line if they don't want to help customers anymore. Apparently they just want to take people's money but not help them when issues they caused arise. People get turned off by lack of proper/adequate customer service and end up shopping where they are treated well.

Walmart.com is allowing third party sellers to offer t-shirts for sale with copyrighted images on them. A seller from mainland China has my images, so I sent Walmart.com a DMCA takedown message last week. So far, Walmart.com has not responded and the image is still for sale.

I placed an order the June 27,2024. It was delivered around 12:30pm. My roommate ordered and used his card to pay. 1 hour later when he checked his bank there was the charge for his groceries and then one for $1,006.00 and another for $179.00. I called support and was told to handle it with my bank. The bank can't do anything until it completely clears then it will be a few weeks before he gets his money back. I called customer service becasue my account wasn't hacked. Somehow when his purchase went through more purchases went through on the card being used. Because the purchases weren't showing on my account, Iwas told there was nothing to do but deal with my bank. No where on the site could I find the full card number or the cvc code from the card. I was put on hold so the gal could get me a supervisor to talk with. After 35 minutes i was hung up on. Do not use your actual debit card on their site it is not secure. I use Paypal when I pay and it has 2 factor authentification so this won't happen to me. However, my roommate is now broke until the bank gives money back or next payday. If you are living paycheck to paycheck DO NOT use this site with your debit card. And the company doesn't care to learn that there is a security issue with payment site.
Tip for consumers:
The public needs to know. If we couldn't cover his expenses until the bank can make it right we'd all be homeless.

Ordering through Walmart offers the convenience of shopping for a wide range of products online. The plus side is the extensive selection of items available for delivery, from groceries to electronics. Additionally, their delivery tracking system provides updates on the status of orders, allowing customers to monitor their shipments. However, there are areas for improvement. Delivery times can be inconsistent, with some orders arriving later than expected. Furthermore, issues with order accuracy and packaging have been reported, leading to frustration among customers. Overall, while Walmart offers convenience, enhancements in delivery reliability and order accuracy would improve the overall service.

Ordering a solar generator and 2sets of solar panels. After 3 edits of ship/delivery address, finally it read correctly. Placed order, 5 seconds later I received a message that order was being shipped to an address I lived at a year ago. After an hour and a half of trying to cancel and get confirmation of that unsuccessfully, I find a customer service phone number. The lying individual on the other end tells me cancelled and no worries. Next morning I receive a message that order shipped and is going to the wrong address! I am disabled and unable to retrieve large, heavy, bulky packages. NEVER will I ever spend a penny at ANY Walmart store or online EVER again! If you value your sanity, SHOP anywhere else! Just a total joke! And after now seeing reviews, I see I am far from alone in this situation. Apparently this is common place. Shop at a reputable retailer. This is anything but.

Constant receiving damaged products like smashed breads and snacks, broken eggs (a lot of broken eggs like 13 out of 60) Packages with holes in them, missing items that I was charged for...etc. Some delivery drivers are nice, but some are miserable and just should not be interacting with customers.
If you are disabled like I am and this is your only option for groceries at reasonable prices, you're screwed like me. If you have any other option at all then avoid Walmart delivery.
Tip for consumers:
Shipping is a myth and is usually just a delivery from another store in my area rather than an actual shipment.
