Ryan Grothaus is the laziest insurance agent Allstate. How this POS keeps his job, I dont know. I switched bank accounts & tried taking care of the changes myself on the APP. The APP is buggy & wouldnt allow me to make the changes, So I called this little egotistical prick. He was all cool & said everything would be taken care of. Next thing I know Allstate is charging me $25 becauase the account they had for my automatic payment hadn't been updated. So I called Mr. Big Pants & said "Hey? What gives dude? I thought you were going to take care of this? Of course its not his fault. (RYAN GROTHAUS IS MR PERFECT) Long story short, he couldn't get the late fee taken off & I took my money to an actual business that hires competent people, blocking all transactions. Hope the late fee was worth it, Readers do yourselves a favor and take your business somewhere else. You can not rely on these idiots to throw a birthday party, let alone be in charge of your insurance. This worked out better for me because now I have insurance that is cheaper & don't have to rely on irresponsible, ignorant employees whenever I need something. It wasn't nice doing business with you Ryan Grothaus. You should maybe try a job in something other than customer relations.

I understand that this company is doing their job I did not know that you have to call to do a cancelation on your insurance since I had paid my months in advance I didn't think I had to the lady that I talked to she said that I had money coming back to me and I told her I did not want to just leave it alone and that was that but then I get this letter stating that I owe him $88 8 sense because they're taking it as mean not giving them a right cancelation Call I don't think the way the world is right now with high prices they should have done this especially me been a customer that always paid on time and the reason that I left them is because I was paying $77 from there they jump to $98 I asked them why and I did not like the response so the response so therefore I just went with farmers It's like them they want for you to call to cancel OK I understand but they could have called me and tell me that they were going up on my policy instead of instead of just sending me an amount that was so ridiculous high for just or just liability on an old car and I never once had an accident I don't even drive 10 miles I am sick I am going to the hospital for surgeries I'll be trying to save my money for this surgery and for them to do this was uncalled for

Poor service
August 20, 2020

Yesterday my mother (65) had a flat tire (w/no spare new cars) in Los Angeles, California; Due to her job, she needed a vehicle, so we swapped cars. I waited for 3 hours for a tow. I was not upset, and the car was taking to my apt since shops were closed at the hour they arrived. Today I called to have the vehicle now towed to a shop. The wait was 96mins when I called 115mins; your REP stated that the tow company canceled. I spoke to the rep and told him I'm upset, and what bothers me, even more, is that my mom would have had to deal with this; the closest tow is 120 mins away. So now Allstate has made me wait 8 hours for a two in two days. I asked to speak with the Supervisor (Axel Castro) and asked for some sort of compensation for the inconvenience voucher 10/15% off etc. He stated that you guy don't own the tow company's and their human Allstate calls the company, and the service ends them. I thought it was roadside Assistance, and how in the second largest city number one with cars, the wait is so long? He said we use 40 service providers I asked if he could follow up to ensure there was not a closer truck and that all companies we're called. He stated his agent took care of it. I asked again, so you don't feel the need to follow up to check he said no. I want to know Where is the accountability for a customer if your agents think they are only in the service of Connecting customer to provider it makes sense why I don't feel like I received roadside assistance it should be a roadside connection. Furthermore, if your wait is hours in Los Angeles with 40, when do you as a company, decide to expand the providers? Ref *******

I got home Insurence with Allstate, then I canceled on the same day after they changed me, few day later they refunded me, and that was that, but two months later I get a letter from a collection agent with the same amount threat they refunded me for, and I keep calling all states to stop the collection, but they refuse to so and they say that they didn't charged me but they refunded me and they want that money back, I sent them my bank statement shows that the actually charged first then refunded me, so all zeroed out, but all their costume services look at the account and the charge but they don't want to dispute and stop the collection and they say I have to pay, seriously what is that I need to pay for I don't have policy with you, and you don't provide me with any services, why do I have to pay you. This company is a big scammer once they get your information they never leave you alone. It's been a month and I keep calling hone that one day a good costumer services with some knowledge understand and solve my problem.

Allstate is putting me up for collection because I won't pay their ransom after having left their coverage because it sucks and costs more than any other insurance. Instead of thanking me for my years of patronage, they are choosing to try and hurt me and kick me in the head as I leave. Well, I want to ask all my friends and family right now to switch away from Allstate if you are using them and use any other insurance other than Allstate. Linda Lang in Washingtonville is trying to hurt me and I have made it my new life-long task to hurt Allstate's business wherever I can. In this pandemic, it is cruel and unreasonable for Allstate to attack me and my family. I paid my bills faithfully and now have to wait seven years for this to get them removed from my credit file. There's no way I will ever pay them. I will piss on their graves before they get another dime from me. Every month that they hurt me, I will be taking business away from them Linda Lang: Allstate Insurance - you will lose 100X the amount of the bill you are trying to ransom from me - I promise you that you will lose this fight. I am networked throughout this area for the past 40 years and I will work every single day to take business away from you and cost you far more than this unfair and corrupt bill that you are trying to get me to pay. In the next seven years, you will lose hundreds of thousands of dollars in profits due to the work I am doing and will continue to do to fight back against your corrupt and unfair practices. Corrupt insurance companies must stop trying to hurt people who do the right thing! It's time to move your insurance business to a company that actually cares about people. I'm with Nationwide and Progressive now and am happy with the service and cost. Switch now and save money.

I have had All State for years, both as my home and auto policy. Had a pretty bad car accident around November. The first week, the liable party's insurance 'Geico' took care of everything, from my injury settlement to getting someone to estimate the damages. Upon inspection, they decided it was total damage however the other policy holder had a limit of $15,000. They agreed to pay the $15,000 and All State would take care of the remaining ~2-3k. Not only was it incredibly difficult to reach my adjuster, it seemed they had a different answer each and every time I would call. First they told me that they would make an uninsured motorist claim to get the remaining $2500 for me and that someone would come to tow the car away. A few weeks passed, and several phone calls later... they eventually let me know that they have to take another look at the vehicle even though the liable party's insurance already agreed to pay 90% of the value. Eventually, All State sent me something that I had to sign from the repair shop, stating if I agreed for repairs to be done and that it would be roughly 5-6k to fix. I wasn't going to sign anything and it seemed I was stuck in limbo. I called the repair shop and talked to a gentleman who let me know he knew the car was totaled the second it came in, and sent it back. How come I didn't hear anything till just now? Now, a few days ago I was contacted by another adjuster who attached a bogus value report with no merit. Somethings not adding up and I have a sick pit in my stomach. Why the hell can't I have a straight answer? Enough is enough! It's absolutely ridiculous, for a few dollars they are spinning me around in circles. What happened to being in good hands? After this experience, I'm definitely taking my business elsewhere. Geico definitely took care of me. Geico (the other party's insurance) took care of me in less than a week, All State (my insurance) has had me running around for almost three months. And by the looks of all these poor reviews, it seems I'm not the only one. Take your business elsewhere!

Horrible

Ok so to start I was hit by a drunk driver who had Allstate insurance. My vehicle was setting still and was plowed by this guy and he left the scene, he was arrested for drunk driver within an hour of the crime.
Allstate started the claim process and sent someone to my house to inspect the vehicle. Allstate low balled my vehicle value to start off with and then they tried to total the vehicle even though it was very easily fixed and driveable.
The agent I got stuck with did not seem to be very bright or knowledgeable about the process. So they finally came up with an offer and after a little bit of back and forth trying to figure out what needs to be done I get told by them that the claim has been denied by their adjuster only 3 days after it was started. It seemed as if they just gave up and now are avoiding me. Now I am left with a vehicle that I have to fix out of my pocket. I continued to try and get answers out of Allstate and finally I got a manager. I was told by the manager the claim had been denied due to lack of evidence. Seriously Allstate? There was a witness had talked to the driver only 10 minutes prior to the accident stating he was drunk, and the police report even says he was. The driver went to jail for DUI and "that's not enough evidence"? I am very dissatisfied with Allstate and will be seeking legal action for compensation.
Ha "your in good hands" yeah right!. DO NOT GET ALLSTATE INSURANCE. They are probably by far the worst insurance company ever and they will do whatever they have to get out of paying a claim!
Hey everyone, who has Allstate, lets just pay into their bank account and NEVER receive anything in return except "sorry, we cant help you"!

Police Reports

In May 2019, I'm appalled that I was ran into by a teenager whose afterwards, his Truck was drivable and my paid off Toyota Limited Avalon was totaled. A police wrote a report detailing I ran into the teenager and a couple of demeaning social observations against me to support that I had ran into the teenager. Mind you I was in the turn lane and the teenager was in outer lane. My conversation with Allstate representatives was I was at fault and I incurred a $100+ Monthly increase to my policy. They said if I wanted my policy to go back to previous cost, I HAD TO GET THE POLICE REPORT changed. So in essence a dirty cop can now determine your insurance rates by writing an inaccurate, unethical report against you. Lucky for me I located a film of my wreck from the liquor store in which this teenager had almost sent me flying into. This video was provided to Allstate as well as the Police. The Police at 3 levels finally agreed to amend the report but yet stated a certain statue directed I should have turned at a specific corner as opposed to 10 ft away at an entrance to store plaza, which happen to be my intended turn. Concluding I was at partial fault. How about they refused to admit they made a biased decision against me and believed the teenager over me. The statue only states "make the turn, when practicable". The video clearly showed that the teenager was not turning at any corner at all as he was past any corner or entrances so his errant turn into me was just dangerous and with fault. I obtained an Attorney and because of Covid we are just now getting redress for this incident. The teenager has changed his story and admitted to faulty equipment (no rear view) mirror and that he never saw me. Freaking Allstate was happy to suddenly refund $250 of my $500 deductible which means what people? They allow Inept or dirty cops to do their paying customers in so they can reap the $1200. 00 a year increase to my policy and which guarantees it will be that way for 3 years since wreck is on record for 3 years. I'm pissed and when this case is settled, I will be announcing to the world. You are NOT in Good Hands With Allstate, cos they will not even consider your story if a Police writes something different.
