Return policy horror! Never buy from them anymore! I have 3 returns that are stuck at processing. I checked every day and the refund dates keep on changing. Now there's a message that asks me to contact customer service for my items. I've contacted them and I was told 4 different answers. All I know is they received the items on September 17th and they say I have to wait until November 17th! 2 months for a refund? Horrible customer service, especially that I order everything from them. Never again for real this time! I have screenshot proof! Here is the message written when I check my 3 refund statutes, I contacted them as the message asks, theirs no point since they can't help you with anything! Message From Amazon: Refund not issued: "Your refund could not be issued as the return is stuck in processing Don't worry! Our Customer Service can help you with your refund". Need I say more?
Pathetic customer service, originally ordered around thanksgiving and got multiple updates on the delivery dates and never received it. I was promised that a replacement will be sent to me at no cost in Dec last week and the pattern repeats, as the order has just the label generated with nothing shipped out yet. Horrible call center reps after numerous transfers and digging into this order they are not even cancelling the order and returning my money.
I had someone break into my Amazon account and buy over $5500 in Airbnb gift certificates. They contracted me after the first $1000 and I declined the charge but they kept letting more and more charges be made. They were of no help when I reported it minutes after it happened and now my only recourse is to have my credit card investigated. I was told they used an Amazon wallet which I didn't even know I had. Please add two verifications and don't have a wallet. Amazon is not protecting the accounts.

I ordered a sink which was supposed to come with a drinking water faucet. The sink arrived without the drinking water faucet, instead it had a soap dispenser substituted by the manufacturer who failed to update the ad. I called Amazon customer service and in about 5 minutes they gave me the $280 sink for free and I bought the water faucet for $32 That's above and beyond. Amazon is a fantastic company.

Amazon driver threw my package as well as used the f word. I have ring video to prove it. He needs fired. Amazon promised 2 times I would receive my item by Christmas, well no item.

Amazon has become a shady and scammy company. They kept pulling unauthorized charges for Amazon Prime that I never consented to and stealing out of my bank account. This is the third time that they do this to me so I closed my Amazon account and for the third time, I had to report them and reissue a new debit card. Never again will I use Amazon. I am switching to eBay. I trust eBay and I have been with eBay for many years and never once has my bank account been compromised when shopping with eBay.
I am keeping this review short and sweet. I often have many bad experiences with retail companies and their poor customer services, but Amazon always comes out on top. Their excellence in customer care makes me favour shopping on their site over anywhere else.
The shipping times are super fast and even on a Sunday too. I have never had any issues with opened or stolen packages from the couriers. If items have been faulty, the incorrect size, or not to my taste, it is free to send back on a majority of items.
The products are packaged really well and I re-use all the boxes to store or ship things.
The staff hired to take calls are very charming, knowledgable and empathetic. I cannot fault the company or suggest any ways to improve.

Overall if you need something and can't find it, go to Amazon they have just about everything. Usually it is cheaper than anywhere else. But remember that you get what you pay for. It's extremely important to read the description and the reviews. But you also need to remember that just because one person has an issue, doesn't mean that it's a bad thing. Amazon has a really good refund policy so that you don't get taken by shady people. Yeah I have received junk but the overall quality has been awesome. Most products have a 2 day delivery time. Just make sure you check to see when the delivery date is. I think way too many people get hostile because they don't read the delivery date.
Lately things have been packaged in no shipping box at all, or packaged in padded envelopes where product is damaged or parts have fallen out. I received a cocoa machine that was cracked because it wasn't in a shipping box.A present of metal deer that was in a envelope type box that was open and hanging options had fallen out along the way.Ordered juice and wrong item was sent…Twice boxes were sent to wrong address.
I used to never doubt this company but now I do.

For one, Prime promises 2-day shipping for free. This is cool except I'd say 30% of my orders do not arrive by the "guaranteed" date. "Guaranteed" is the language Amazon uses. After several of these late deliveries, Amazon offered me 12 months of Prime free. Great! NOPE! 8 months later as my billing date approached I noticed it hadn't changed. I called and asked why and the customer service representative stated it was a mistake, and it should only have said 1 month. In my opinion that is their mistake, and they should honour what they originally stated. I've also noticed in general their customer service and on time delivery has been getting worse over time.
I was charged for an item the they acknowledge was returned and they received it. Supposedly this rare incident just slipped through the cracks. However, I didn't recognize the charge and assumed my debit card had been compromised. I canceled my card and Amazon has been a nightmare trying to get a refund. Supposedly they'll send a check, but I was told it could take to end of next month. Rude cs woman. If you hadn't canceled ur card you wouldn't be having this problem she says... I told her if Amazon hadn't stole my money I would not have canceled my card.

I used to use amazon all the time but started to notice a few things that really got me questioning why so many, including myself at one point, spend thousands of dollars a year on amazon. The first thing that gave me pause was that the first 5 or 6 times I tried to leave a negative review for certain products, they denied the review. I'm not sure why amazon can actually do this, I mean if you cant be honest about how you feel about a product how am I as a consumer supposed to get an accurate product description? I'm not one of those people that only leave bad reviews, so this didn't makes no sense to me. The other thing is that I ordered a $300 or $299.45 to be exact, machine from them. I was looking forward to getting this machine, but the day it was supposed to arrive about an hour after the estimated delivery time I got a notice saying package was damaged in route. So that's fine, I tried to contact the original seller and they stated they would not be able to send a new one that they would be refunding the payment back to me. So fast forward a week or so and they refunded me 289.98. That's almost ten dollars less than I paid for the product, so I contact them and they state that promotional credits are non-refundable. So you are telling me that I have to pay ten dollars for a product that I never received because you guys couldn't fulfill the order? How does that make any sense? I wasn't returning the order, they could not deliver it! Ten dollars isn't a lot of money but think about how many people this happens to every year, they make millions off of doing this to people. In my opinion Amazon is scamming people out of money and half of them probably never even notice because who thinks a company that big would need to do that to people. Needless to say I never got the machine and I was told they couldn't give me back the ten dollars. Lesson learned and I will never use them again.

I don't understand why I keep ordering from Amazon. They are late every time now. They were top of the game with the 2 day delivery. I didn't mind paying a little extra for it because I got it in 2 days. Well now you order something that says 2 days and it doesn't show up for three or four. I could have got on eBay and ordered the same thing $5 cheaper and they say it'll be here in 3 or 4 days instead of lying just to get you to buy it. This used to be a great company. They have just been going downhill.

They are literally re shrink wrapping returned movies and selling them as new! If I was a lawyer I'd start a class action lawsuit.

Love shopping on Amazon bc you receive the products fast and the return policy is easy however for a while now I've noticed a problem in their review department. If something has good reviews when you read those reviews they are all actually about a whole different product. For instance, I was looking at a facial steamer but all the reviews where about a set of pots and pans... I've even contacted Amazon customer service multiple times but the problem still persists. Since I can't trust the reviews it makes my purchasing decision harder. I normally go on the Walmart app to check reviews before purchasing on Amazon.
I haven't found a better site for myself yet, it has absolutely everything I need, I can't list how many times I've used it!
They just announced they are adding advertising to Prime video. Or for an additional fee per month to go advertising free. Prime was already getting expensive. Video selection of free to Prime members was already dwindling. Poor streaming with too many signal drops from server. Too many shipping issues (lost parcels, delivering to wrong address and incorrect product). Prime is no longer worth it. Amazon is too big and could care less about it's individual customers. They are the Ma Bell of shopping profiteers. I contributed to this madness for too long: that has now ended. Goodbye Amazon!
I was purchasing many items from Amazon recently.I was a Prime member and then i decided not to be one.I had received a box of microwave popcorn that was heavily damaged on the inside.I contacted customer service and was treated like dirt by a representative.The amount of the item was under $2.00 but I was hassled about getting a refund.It would have gone back to a gift card balance.The nasty rep I encountered was on a chat.I called Amazon to complain.Amazon(in my opinion)has gone downhill.The items offered are not great-especially the clothing.Everything is made of polyester-in China.Think twice before dealing with Amazon.Thumbs down to the customer service provided by foreigners overseas.

The Amazon delivery driver drove into my driveway. I went out and retrieved the packages from him. I walked into my kitchen and looked out the window as he backed through my front yard and onto the street. Due to recent rains, the ground was soft and he left ruts in my yard. I immediately notified Amazon and after a week had not heard from them. I called and then they started a claims. I was just notified because I don't have cameras showing them doing the damage that my claim was denied! It doesn't matter I witnessed it. So, due to their driver's lack of attention, I'm having to pay to repair my yard. I will no longer be using Amazon. What happened to a company taking responsibility for their employee's screw ups?

Ordered Acer computer and warranty and 2 other items. Computer is defective and other items bad. Couldn't print a label to return and couldn't make the ** understand that I need them to give label to carrier to pick up computer. Over 8 calls to Amazon, 5 emails, and 2 letters I am still waiting for them to do this! Had this defective computer for over a month, finally disputed charges on my credit card.
