Ashley Furniture is an absolute abomination of a business. 7 months ago I purchased a bed and couch to be delivered. I was told that I'd be given a 2 hour heads up when the couch would be delivered... they called 5 minutes before they pulled up and almost marked it as "owner not home" even though they didn't keep their agreement.
The bed was a completely different issue. They told me 6 weeks to be delivered or be contacted... I called on week 8 and they had 0 news about an update. Only when I threatened to cancel did they "miraculously" find a way to get it there in 4 days. I cancelled.
Last week I decided to give them another chance... bad mistake. They charged my card 5 times for the same purchase, utilized all of my available credit, and somehow managed not to have an order in their system after all that.
I called 10 different times trying to get a resolution for all the duplicate charges and didn't get a call back for 5 days! Then after all was said and done, I tried to login and pay for the same order, and it gave me the same error messages as before, but charged me twice again! 7 charges, had to get my cc company involved, and after all that... still no furniture order placed.
Absolutely terrible company. It's never their fault, they put their poor customer service reps in awful situations where sales staff and management never have to answer for their mistakes or wrongdoings. I would never recommend this company to a friend or family. Ashley furniture is everything that's wrong about business. You're much better off going with a competitor.

I had a horrible experience with Ashley furniture and I would not recommend anyone to make a purchase at this furniture store. This was my first and last purchase with this scam company. I ordered Stearns and Foster mattresses that cost well over $2500.00 and they delivered a cheap mattress worth $200.00 and refuse to refund my money. They are now telling me of their NO REFUND policy. Excuse me, Ashley sold me one mattress and delivered a totally different mattress. The typical bait and switch and now they do not want to do the right thing which is refund my money for an item I never received. I have a picture below of what Ashley delivered. If I could give negative 10 stars I would. Dealing with customer service has been horrendous and I still have this cheap mattress in my home 2weeks after delivery and add fuel to fire I am receiving a bill for a Stearns and foster mattress. I should have never walked in that store on 9/4/23 because I haven't had a bed to sleep in since. Ashley has done NOTHING to fix the problem. Stay away from this company.
I will never shop Ashley again! I have been left frustrated and feeling swindled by this company. The stores sales and Ashley customer service team are not on the same page. I was unsuccessful in getting a straight answer on anything from delivery costs to the protection plan. Better yet, any customer service agent I spoke with provided conflicting information than the prior agent. It made me feel like they don't understand their business whatsoever. In addition, my understanding of customer service is to be helpful to resolve issues with your purchase. I found out the hard way, that the team will provide you no help because they no authority to do anything that would constitute as "service". Essentially, if you have an issue, they will direct you elsewhere. You are left to either contacting the store directly but unfortunately, they do not answer their phones so the only option you are left with is to make endless trips back and forth to the store to hopefully resolve the issue. The pricing discrepancy between online and in store is vast. For an item I purchased, online listed the price for $349. In store, they were selling the item for $499. They will price match but tack on the protection plan, delivery, etc. that will drive the cost up so there is no real savings whatsoever. I would not recommend Ashley Home Store for furnishings to anyone. Save yourself one giant headache.
I have never been more angry with any other store than Ashley. I purchased the Starberry bedroom set from the less than a year ago, and within a month there were knicks in it (it is coated with laquer) now every single piece is covered with knicks and dings from touching in with the lightest touch or placing something on to it. Do Not But From This Company. For the price I spent, this furniture is way worked than Ikea
We have had the absolute worst experience with our nearly 7k bedroom set and mattress purchase. The company refuses to acknowledge that the mattress their sales rep sold us does NOT go with the bed set we selected. He steered us in the direction of an adjustable base and mattress (he owns it, it's amazing, etc.). We liked it and asked specifically how it would work with the bed frame we chose. "Oh the adjustable base will just drop in and sit flush." was Fred's response. Well, months later when the delivery driver finally delivered the bed and saw the mattress we had, he said, "they should have never sold these items together. They do not go together." We have been dealing with the run around ever since. Ashley's response is that bed height is not a manufacturer defect. We have photos that show what it looked like in the showroom vs our room. MAJOR difference. AND we have to hurdle into bed. NOT KIDDING, it is BEYOND ridiculous! I cannot even calculate the number of calls, emails, photos, I have wasted trying to just get someone to make it right. They won't give a full refund and just come pick it all up either.
Bought furniture salesman ordered wrong one. It was delivered and I was told could exchange contact service customer. Then call after call (including store mgr)with rude, arrogant, hard to understand individuals they said they now will not exchange because it now had taken a week for them to answer.So now I have furniture that was incorrectly ordered and they THINK I am going to pay, and of course salesman no longer works there.They would NEVER transfer me to Supervisor or someone I could understand

I purchased a sofa and loveseat from Ashley Furniture in March 2023, but a couple of days later noticed the left side of the sofa was broken. I contacted customer service, and they assured me that a technician would be sent to fix it.
However, three weeks went by without any progress, and when the technician finally arrived, they informed me that certain parts needed to be ordered. Another three weeks passed, but still no sign of the parts or the technician.
Frustrated, I decided to call Ashley and they informed me that they would replace the sofa instead. After a couple of weeks, I received the disappointing news that the product had been discontinued. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I reached out to customer service via email, only to be offered a 10% discount, which would void the warranty.
Dissatisfied with this proposal, I declined, and a month later, someone arrived at my door to collect the sofa without offering a replacement, only a refund for the purchase.
This experience with their customer service has been extremely disappointing. It leaves me wondering where I am supposed to sit now. Are we expected to sit on the floor?
It is frustrating that they did not even offer a replacement or another model.
Considering the terrible customer service I received, I have decided that I will never purchase from them again. There are plenty of other options available in the market. It seems like they believe they are too big to be held accountable for their actions.
However, with all the complaints being made about them, only time will tell if they are truly too big to fail.

I have had damaged furniture arrive - exchange of furniture - repair people come to my home and state they can not do anything, etc. But when you call there customer service as I have more times than I can count - you get unprofessional people that are paid to be rude. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL! After 10 visits to my home and spending $5,000 plus on the purchase - they have the nerve to offer me a $30.00 gift card for this plus. Keep your $30.00 - what an insult! Why would I ever want to step foot in your store again if I can't even get the furniture that I purchased repaired properly or replaced. Who wants to have BRAND NEW furniture repaired? I know no one from Ashley will ever reach out to me about this - because for 4 moths I have never received a call back - I have had to call everyday! NEVER ORDER ITEMS ON BACKORDER FROM THE WEB SITE. We just received another delay notice five months after our purchase. This notice came four days after a notice telling us it would only be ten days until delivery. NO ONE we have contacted can tell us anything except the new delivery date.

This has been the worst experience with a company I've ever experienced. I purchased a bed that was $2500. At time of delivery they sent the wrong bed. After delivering the right bed weeks later it was now missing parts. I have spent 3 months trying to get the correct parts. The team I ordered the bed from would not deal with it and said I needed to go to their customer service line. They continuously told me they had the parts ordered to get me off the phone and I would have to go through the same cycle for weeks. I would be told it was handled when it was not. After weeks of calling, a worker ordered the parts. AGAIN WRONG PARTS. I now have 3 boxes sitting in my house of giant parts that I am told I have to deal with. They will not pick it up. They will not give me a refund or do anything to fix their mistakes. This is unacceptable. I went through Ashley furniture because they are a well known store and thought it would be my safest route. If you are thinking about purchasing furniture take your business elsewhere. It is not worth this hassle.

I purchased furniture from Ashley a year ago. I spoke to the store and gave them the size specifications on my home. They assured me that it would fit, instead they delivered my furniture and destroyed my hallways trying to fit the things in. They would not fit. Ashley still charged me for the delivery and only after threatening to sue reimbursed me for destroying my walls. Apparently, I'm an idiot, because I attempted to use their services again because I live in a rural area and don't have other furniture delivery options. I put in my order over 3 weeks ago. The items arrived randomly and the website never accurately displayed their shipping or delivery status. The sectional I ordered didn't show up on time and they didn't even call or email me to tell me. Instead I called the next day and was told the order was pushed back a week! They then texted me in the morning the new delivery date, saying my delivery would be there in 2 minutes. I left work and waited... And waited... Called customer service and I have now been waiting for over an hour on hold and still no furniture. This company is garbage and they only care about your money. I will never, ever be entertaining the thought of shopping at Ashely again, and I will make sure to tell anyone I come in contact with that might shop there what they consider customer service.

I received my furniture on time, and it was delivered professionally. However, when I discovered a manufacturing flaw with one of the pieces, I spent the next few hours in vain attempting to contact someone to report the issue. Calling their 800 number, I chose the option to request a callback; 5 hours later and no callback. I contacted my salesperson, who was off that day, and she couldn't' reach anyone at the store, and told me she would work it when she was at work the next day (pluses for her, but still a BIG negative for Ashley Furniture). At 5:30pm after waiting over 5 hours for a callback, I called back in, and after a 10 minute wait on hold (I did NOT choose the callback option), I spoke with a CSR, who after putting me on hold for another 10 minutes told me I had to callback the next day, as their system didn't reflect that the furniture had been delivered, and so they were unable to do anything!

Take your chances - if there are any after sales issues, they make things as difficult as possible.

We purchased our furniture. Paid cash. The delivery was a nightmare the 3 hour delivery time frame they were six hours late. Then they brought in the wrong furniture. Had to take it back and find our furniture on the truck. The delivery driver I was outside for 30 minutes cursing after they finally got her correct Furniture in here have found their leaving the furniture that they took back out they left the booklet and screws in the road. Called customer service the map that the original store number which takes you to a customer service number. They offered to give me a gift card of $100 back of that to almost $200 delivery fee. I've called them three times since May 5th regarding my gift card. The first lady said it's already been mailed out you should be getting it shortly count Back 2 weeks later that lady said will the gift card came in the email I said why I was told it was coming by mail then she said oh I'm sorry it is coming by mail. Call today the gentleman I spoke with said the gift cards already been sent you have $100 in store credit. I told him I do not want an in-store credit because I will not purchase anything else from Ashley Furniture. Horrible horrible customer service and nothing but lied to. Buyer beware buy at your own risk. Also they have something called the premium home delivery White Glove. The first set of furniture they brought in I already had stains all over it from where they just laid it down on the ground and laid it down on the floor.
My daughter bought a buffet and waited 3 months for her furniture. When it arrived the doors were broken and the top and sides had deep scratches. The store was contacted immediately and they refused to exchange or return the item for a full refund. They insisted she would have to pay a restocking fee of about $700.00. Ashley Home furniture sent out a repair person and ended up taking the buffet for 3 weeks. When it was returned it was the same broken buffet with an extra piece of wood screwed to the inside of the doors and a new hinge was put on making new holes.
When you pay just over $2000.00 for a piece of furniture you expect it to be good quality and in brand new perfect condition when it arrives. Ordering from Ashley you definitely are not getting that. Your forced to pay in full and then wait for your product. So no matter what they give you it's yours regardless of the condition it arrives in! Buyer beware! If you don't mind giving your money away for very poor quality furniture and the worst customer service then feel free to shop here. Otherwise stay far far away from Ashley home stores.

If they even allow you to return your item the restocking fee is high. You will lose almost half your money. They were great when we were shopping and completing our purchase however once they have your money that changes very quickly.
If I could give ZERO STARS or half star that would be more accurate. I will NEVER step foot in another Ashley home store again.
We purchased 4 Sommerford Dining chairs online, when we put them together 3 out of the 4 they weren't level. We got new legs but that wasn't the problem. The base of the chairs were drilled wrong so no matter how many legs we had the chairs were never going to be level. A couple of weeks after trying the new legs and calling back to get new part the chairs are now discontinued and the only way we can get a refund is if we donate the chairs and get proof and send it to them.

I give Ashley Furniture in Buford, GA a -1 star review. I paid cash for $10k in furniture and was told it was all in the warehouse and given a delivery date. I waited all that day and no delivery. It was important to me because I have a bad back and was sleeping on an air mattress. I got the bed and tv stand and was told my living room would be the next week. When confirming it was told the ottoman 2 days later. Didn't come. I came back to the store and got paperwork showing the ottoman should have been delivered with the rest. Now they are saying the 21st. No reason why. I came to store to find out what's going on and they said sales person was supposed to keep me up to date and they would talk to her. What good does that do me. I texted her every time something went didn't come. I TEXTED HER SHE NEVER CONTACTED ME FIRST TO EXPLAIN WHY, Gail why?. I will never order from Ashley again and if you are thinking about it DON'T.

Ashley refuse to exchange my loveseat that their tech said was unrepairable. Yet Ashely will only try to repair it and if its' not repair to my satisfaction they basically said o well it' will be repair to their repair person satisfaction. They don't care about the consumer once they get your money.

1) The furniture is made very poorly it doesn't last more than about a year!
And what's worse they refuse to stand by their so-called warranties
2) We spent over $3000 for a couch including a $200 for a 5 year warranty.
3) Now we find out (13months later) that the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on…Yes labor is up after one year (true) but what about the five year warranty I now discover that too is useless anyway…
4)The best they can do is send someone out to inspect it,. Oh and that's another $150 but it cannot be repaired since this particular product is discontinued and parts are no longer available and they call this customer service?
5) They told us in the store they stand behind everything they sell AND they manufacture their own furniture?
6) That seems to be a Bait and Switch, because somehow their own manufactured couchwith all the parts is discontinued.?
If you read the so called Ashley Regency newsletter they claim to be putting the best foot forward putting the customers in focus etc. etc. Nothing could be further from the truth. Find another furniture home, this one gets a solid D

Me and my significant other went into Ashley in Daytona Beach, FL…. We got all of our information in the system, and the items we picked out and told us what we were purchasing would be delivered the Sunday March 6th… however their system wasnt working, and they told us to come in the following day so we could finish the process, and pay the downpayment, so an hour into when this store had opened, my spouse went into this store and had cash in hand and was going to complete the process, they then told him that "they had sold a bunch of beds and the bed we had picked out the night before was unavailable for over a week" so, that being said, I'm simply unhappy.
Today we went to Ashley orange store. Everything was going well. They guy their was nicely showing the sofas. Suddenly their lady manager came and started asking us about requirements etc. She asked our jobs etc which I know is a salesman tactics to know earning so she can decide price. She told us the quote which was not very exciting. I just told that we want to check on some other stores too which was a reasonable thing but then she shouted on m. She said" yes go now you can go there is the door. Just go out and check. No one is stopping you. Right now go out. " I mean I was surprised. Is this the way you talk to your customer. That too when you are so called manager. She was so rude so harsh. I haven't met such type of rude lady in my entire life. She does not have any skills how to talk to the customers. She should be fired soon from the store or else they will not have any customers coming to their store. I am never ever goin to that Ashley in Orange. Neither I will recommend anyone. This was the horrible experience and all my excitement was gone. She is so impolite and uncivil. She should have training on how to attend customers and how to talk to them politely. So unethical.

Took my money, lied 3x on the pick up date, contacted the floor manager Amber Crooks from who we purchased it from and was ignored till the following day. Was told 2x that we could have a full refund within 72 hrs of receiving the furniture then when I contacted the company was told there's a no refund policy and that nobody in the corporate office has the ability to refund any money. This was all bought at the homestore in Springfield, MO from floor manager Ashley Crooks. Do not believe any of the lies that they tell you! They just want your money then deliver junk with holes and rips in it and expect you to make due till their response team has time to address the situation at their convience. I will NEVER recommend or refer ANYONE to Ashley's Homestore ever!
