Pay attention if your purchasing above 55$ and your delivery is "free". Tha shiping company will contact you and tell you that you need to pay additional charges (expansive ones!), just because they need to take your order from Asos! This is outrages! And if you don't pay, the package sent back to Asos and the refund takes a lot of time! NEVER BUYING FROM THEM AGAIN!
I have (yes, I must be stupid) three times from ASOS. 1) Size seven shoes = size 10.2) Black shirt = any random black t-shirt they can send. 3) Still waiting on pkg never received... they don't care... they write "friendly" words but don't do anything to help! I purchased three pairs of shoes from ASOS. Unfortunately, the quality was subpar and I return two of the pairs within 3 days of receiving the items. Although it showed return in transit on the ASOS website by the day following my return - today it has been almost three months of reaching out regarding the return and I finally receive an email saying that I can have a credit in my account but no refund because it took them longer than 30 days to process the return. I'll handle this with the CC directly at this point but never again will I waste my time or money on this company.
As an avid online shopper with years of experience and a shopping addiction, I can confidently say asos is the absolute worst store you could ever order from. I purchased a pair of pants to complete an outfit I needed before going back to college and even paid for express shipping so it would arrive before I left. Not only did the package arrive a day late, but it was the completely wrong item. They sent me the ugliest pair of pants I have ever laid my eyes on. How do you even switch that up so horrendously?!? They weren't even close to the same color and 5 times the size I wear! I would like to think that as a very popular and widely known store they would be better. But they aren't. They won't even send me a new pair I have to go and reorder them and guess what… they're all sold out! They won't even let me sign up for notifications so I know when it's back in stock! So not only did I waste my time and money shopping at this store, I lost my dignity. I will NEVER be ordering from this appalling store again. Princess polly would never!

I have contacted Asos customer care four times about this and each time I have been assured the refund is being processed / I will receive a refund confirmation letter within 24hrs / my case has been referred to the specialist team to investigate, and yet still nothing! And noone from the specialist team has been in touch. Their customer service is atrocious. This company lies through their teeth and does not value its customers in the slightest.
They will say anything to look like they understand how you are feeling and pretend they are resolving your issue just to get you to leave the chat. Like other reviewers here, I have been an extremely loyal asos customer for many years and am bitterly disappointed with the way I have been treated. I am also heavily pregnant with the baby due any day now and should not have to deal with this level of stress over something as simple as as a refund.

Quality of the clothes are horrendous and they shrink at least two sizes upon one wash. After arriving at the post office I was surprised with a MASSIVE bill of extra delivery fees (I live in Canada). Looked into returning and all I find is reviews saying they returned their package but ASOS claimed they did not or did so too late and are simply given store credit. Also have to pay fees AGAIN at the post office inorder to return the products. DO NOT BUY FROM ASOS!
I bought a maternity dress on here for a wedding, was very hesitant with all the negative reviews, however the dress was actually gorgeous and great quality! It arrived a few days earlier than the estimated arrival and I had no additional shipping fees (I live in Fl, USA). Sizing while your pregnant is a bit difficult, I ordered a 4, (which is my usual size pre-pregnancy) but it was a bit tight on the top. To be fair, I'm also bigger than usual being pregnant so not really the companies fault lol. Overall very happy with my purchase!
I order this dress, it was $227.00. Postal to Canada was $65 COD! The dress arrived and wasn't the quality I expected. The picture looks to be lined but it wasn't. The material is not was I expected. When returning I had to pay $23 to ship back. That's $88 in shipping. Why if I can return for $23 why wasn't the COD $23?
I've order other items from Asos which were good but I can't afford that kind of shipping expense. Never again.
I've been using ASOS for a long time because they're one of the few stores that carry a full range of standard and plus sizes while giving refunds with free shipping. But lately it's become impossible to deal with them
1) Their sizing is absolutely bizarre with zero consistency; the same tag size items from the same line can have several sizes difference. One L size shirt shouldn't be too small to pull over my head while another is so big it almost reaches my knees
2) Products are a different colour in real life than they are online
These problems have just started recently:
3) ASOS will send completely the wrong item or size, eg I once ordered an L and received an S
4) the tags are incorrect; I once received an item with a tag size XL but the stated measurements corresponded to a medium
5) the quality can be very poor; I recently received a hoodie with holes in the pockets and the stitching being far too far over the front pocket
6) They will take your money, sit on it for a while, then tell you weeks later that something you ordered is out of stock. This is infuriating
7) They take weeks and weeks and weeks to process refunds. I've been waiting almost two months for a refund right now
8) when you try to reach them, you can only use IM chat and half the time it doesn't even work. I spoke to six (6!) people trying to find out where on earth my refunds are and not only could no one help me because the chat kept timing out at ten minutes but tech support didn't even try to address it - they went back to talking about my refund which is still not resolved!
So basically, when I order something it's a gamble on whether it's even the correct size, colour, not already a rag, or if I'm even going to receive it at all. Then if there's a problem I have to wait weeks and now months with no resolution while I have neither my order or my money. ASOS is no longer convenient to use and I won't be using it again once my current refunds are dealt with
I ordered directly online from ASOS and was disappointed on the sizing of a few items that I received and being charged for shipping which was suppose to be free. The sizes for the items were 2XL and 2XL Long and they definitely are smaller. To be fair, some of the other items are great, including the shoes, but trying to get hold of customer service is virtually impossbile and I can only give them a 2 star rating. Also the delivery was suppose to be July 11, and I did not receive it until July 21.
I returned items May 19th and followed their return policy. It is now July 20th and I have spent 5 hours of my life and talked with over 4 people to help me get this resolved. The first girl only refunded me for the box that never came and said the rest would refund within 24 hours. Never did. The second girl lied and told me she worked it all out, she did nothing and just lied. The third girl avoided me and told me I should get it soon and ended the chat wouldn't even talk to me. The 4th person refunded the least expensive item and told me the rest would refund within 24 hours. I told her I knew that was a lie and to send me proof now and she couldn't. ASOS return policy is a lie, they will take your money and take your return and keep all the money! It's a SCAM!
This is the worst online store experience I had ever had when I went to check out I made sure it was free shipping and no added duties. However, when picking it up from the post office I was charged $150 for duties. I only purchased 3 items from them and ended up paying almost $300 I am absolutely outraged and will never shop here again. When I tried to contact ASOS about this they were absolutely no help. Do not buy from them unless you don't care about your money.

I placed an order and was really excited for it because i've never ordered from asos before. A few hours later i received an email that said they cancelled my order because i didn't pass the security check and that they had blocked my account. The email didn't tell me why i didn't pass the security check and didn't give me any solutions to get my account back. I really wanted the clothes so i had to message customer support through the website. They were helpful at first, but then they said that the system is what flagged my order and they'd need a specialist to figure out why. They said they would get back to me quickly, but i didn't get a response until days later. The response that i got didn't give me any information about why i didn't pass the security check, just that they had reactivated my account. This whole process was really stressful for me and it had a super disappointing resolution. They told me i would have to place my order again and didn't offer any sort of discount, which would have fine, but i also couldn't use the new customer code because i had used it on my last order, which they cancelled. Overall, the experience was super disappointing and stressful and i wouldn't recommend buying from them unless you're prepared to go through the hassle.
Do not recommend if you are in Canada. Had to pay $70 extra at post office, was supposed to be free delivery. They give you a refund if you return within 21 days. I sent my return over a month ago and it's still not showing that is has arrived to them so looks like I'll only get a store credit for a store I will never again buy from…. So disappointed! And customer service is terrible. No number to call only online chat and they were not helpful at all at resolving any of my issues. Horrible horrible horrible

I don't know where you buy from, but I live in Italy and it doesn't take more than 4-5 working days for them to deliver the package. If you're concerned about the quality, well, it's not really top-notch, but considering the price it's really good (you can't expect Max Mara quality from a shirt you paid 20 euros). As for the fit be careful because those are UK sizes and they are definitely NOT vanity sizing! Meaning: when you read "model pictured wears UK 8" you may think "they're lying, she's clearly a 6" but they're actually not in most cases. I have a body similar to that of most of their models, I ordered size 6 twice and it was a tiny bit small. So size accordingly. All in all I trust them and I like their product. Perfect low-cost site to shop from online.

I also purchased things by topshop and free people on this site. Asos has its own brand but sells others. Returns are effortless so I don't know why so many people are complaining. I have very high standards and they haven't let me down yet.
