I guess Asos doesn't want me to buy anything from them because it won't allow me to add anything to my cart. I'm bummed because I have heard they have nice stuff I just don't know how to buy it :( I hope they fix their site someday.
I waited for one item to arrive to my home for two weeks with delivery only a day late. I contacted ASOS about an item that was sent to me in an incorrect size and need an exchange right away because my size normally runs out fast.
All they can say is make ANOTHER PURCHASE as an "exchange" since the item that is in my possession currently has to be sent back to them in order to prevent fraud. What the F is an exchange if it involves that crappy retailer taking people's money? They don't even have your back when a product ends up lost in the mail.
This is why I let them know that I will not buy from them again and to comp my money when they receive the product that I'm soon returning.
Good riddance, ASOS!
Unprofessional: the person left the chat although I had another question, he did not help me other than sending me a link to the asos website with information about my problem, which I have read and still could not figure out my issue
Not interested in putting effort to find a solution: this refers to that he only sent links and ignored my problem
And not very knowledgable: he said I would find my refund under my account on asos which is simply not true because you see the refund of my account balance only when purchasing another product in the cash out section.
I am frustrated because it took 20 minutes for him to not help me and I was the one trying it out and finding the right answer to my questions. A support should facilitate your solution finidning and not waiste your time.
I've shopped here twice. The first time was last summer I purchased a jelly sandals size 6. It ran small. It felt like a size 5 bec my toes curled and it hurt to walk in it. I gave it away to my co worker.
My 2nd purchase was a over the weekend. I bought a petite bodycon dress. I really love how it looked on the model. I watched the catwalk multiple times, watched youtube reviews and researched online for more reviews on the sizing of the bodycon dresses. I'm a US 4 here in the US but I read online that the sizing runs small so I payed attention to the size chart and took the advice of a reviewer to order one size bigger. I ordered a size US6 which is a UK 10. The tube bodycon dress fit me well. I was scared that if it didn't fit me right I would have to return it, but Thank God the dress fit well! The material is really good too. Shipping was fast. It only took less than 1 week to arrive to me. I'm very happy with my purchase. I will definitely buy again.
Horrible horrible Policy Adherence by ASOS.
Horrible horrible, utterly disappointing. I cancelled my order, within 20 mins of ordering, cancel order button was there. I emailed and messaged customer care immediately and they said it will be cancelled but now I hear it's not. I would never have placed another order of the same item if I knew ASOS does not follow its own policies but expects customers to adhere to it. I don't want my order and want full refund, also don't want to pay for return shipping or go and do the returns during Covid lockdown. If the policies are not to be followed by ASOS then please don't put it in your FAQ or change them, don't fool customers. I am never ordering from ASOS again after this disappointment. Also deleting the app and unfollowing on all social media accounts. I know one person would not make a difference but I will ensue ppl hear of how bad your service is.
I'd definitely avoid buying from them. Shipping took 3 weeks and when the item that I received was too small and needed a replacement the only way to get a hold of them was thru online chat, which first you need to go thru and answer a series of questions and you wait for them to get on live chat, which wasn't helpful they couldn't even answer some basic questions, anyways I'm 7 days away from the wedding and still waiting for the other pants to arrive cause, they shipped it with FedEx smartpost (the slowest and cheapest shipping) won't buy from them again.
I returned two orders in the same package and they are refusing to process both returns because they cannot locate the return. I am owed over £350 and they are refusing to refund this due to incompetencies in their returns department.
Ordered two item. One was on sale and the other was not. One item came in wrong size. Contacted asos did not hear from them nothing. After 3 days i messaged them on fb and was a total joke no one took my problem seriously. It took 6 days to get everything sorted.( nothing actualy got sorted) as i got a refund for the item that came the wrong size. And they are telling me i had a discount on the item on sale when i didnt. Customer service was the worst ever! Never had such a problem before. So much anger because of them. Terrible never again.
Placed my order on 7th February. They shipped on 8th Feb "allegedly". I was supposed to get my package on 26th Feb. Today is a march 5th and still no update about my order... Very unresponsive customer care.
I bought a dress for a wedding I'm in. The dress was beautiful online. I got it really quickly, and was excited to open it, but it wasn't even close to the dress I ordered. The dress was way too small as well, and I could have gone up at least 1 if not 2 dress sizes. I was unhappy to say the least, and sent it back.
Got a gift voucher as a present. Created an account with ASOS and successfully logged the gift voucher onto the account. Great £100. After the 50th SPAM item I got from them I put some great stuff in the cart and when I went to check out, the gift voucher has expired.
Customer service very efficient - tough luck mate, the voucher (which cost my relative real money) has expired (by less than a month) and can't be revalidated.
Will never use my account EVER! My fault, read the T+C, but they didn't give a toss.
I had ordered a pair of shoes and received a candle. They wouldn't send me the correct shoes and instead made me send back the candle, wait ten days for a refund, and reorder the shoes. I reordered the shoes and receive a candle for a second time. Again, they still won't send me my shoes and are making me send back the candle and wait again for a refund. So basically I have placed two order with this company, not received the item I ordered, nor have I got any refund.
I chasing an order of over £500 for TWO MONTHS. I never received the items, but they eventually refunded after I logged a reversal request with my credit card company. For two months I contacted ASOS over and over and over, and they refused to help or escalate it or give me updates, and just said useless, vague things. They eventually offered me a gift voucher for £15, which doesn't even cover the money I lost in insurance on the credit card on the payment for the items I never received. I still haven't had an explanation of what went so wrong in this particular case.
I ordered a watch for my wife and the box came empty. I told them and they refunded the money. I ordered the watch again thinking that this was just a one time mishap. Again, the box came with no watch in it. It took me forever to contact someone. I had to do it through a third party company. Finally ASOS replies and said that they will not refund my money and additionally, they banned ME from their website. The watch wasn't stolen by the mail carrier either, because the package was completely sealed. So they banned me from their website because of THEM stealing my watch. Smh. Ridiculous. I disputed it through my bank but my bank is now going to take the money out of my account. This is just disgusting. My wife and I have been shopping with them for years. And this happens and they ban me. For something they did.
After many successful deliveries, ASOS has since changed their courier for international deliveries too Europe. Their chosen courier service tried to deliver my parcel to the wrong country - unsurprisingly, I wasn't able to take delivery as I don't live there! Items weren't redirected when I told them of the problem, just returned to ASOS and a full refund hayd been given. Great. But still haven't got the items I ordered/wanted. I won't be using ASOS again until they've changed their courier service to a more capable choice. One who can at least read an address label and send it to the right country.
I ordered at the beginning of july. Order was not shipped until 4 days later and told an item was out of stock AFTER being shipped out. I had to go order the bathing suit bottom elsewhere. Then entire order was lost. Only customer service help was wait and see until the following day... if I could access the online chat which is the only way to get in touch if you don't do social media. And the chat was down for 5 days. Told I would get a refund so I went and bought elsewhere. Then told I was not getting a refund. Told I would get a call from senior customer service. Didnt happen either. Every day they tell me to wait until the next day for a refund. No solutions, no help. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Total thievery
Best experience from an online retailer I've ever had. Order a £16 watch, got home to find my gate lying down horizontally in my back garden and the watch delivered in our recycle bin. Cost me £250 to have the gate repaired.
Followed their protocol dealt with them not Hermes.
1. Asked me for a statement.
2. Asked me to email pictures.
3. Asked me to get 3rd party quote.
4. Asked me to wait while Hermes responded.
5. A Hermes delivery driver appeared at my front door when I was at work, my wife answered and found his demeanour threatening. Informed ASOS of this and they stated this was standard practice. BE CAREFUL IF YOU ARE A SINGLE WOMAN LIVING ON YOUR OWN!
6. ASOS asked what evidence I had Hermes had done it, I stated has much evidence that they had they hadn't.
ASOS then stated nothing to do with them and they would be doing nothing for me.
Thieves. I wanted to place an order and paid via Asos gift card. They canceled my order, put the money to my gift balance and blocked my account. So now I have money on the account that is blocked. They just stole it. If they didn't want to accept my order so they should've found a way to return the money, they can't just have it like that
I placed an order on May 11th (order number *******). I have not received the package yet. I went to track the order and because they use worldnet which is a carrier from UK and I live in USA, the website is unable to tell me where the package is. I understand this is a problem with the carrier, but if you are sending international orders you should then use a more reliable way to track your orders so that clients would not have to become frustrated. I tried finding a phone number and there is not a phone number. The chat system only provides with generic information that is basically the same you can find on your own, but no extra details on the order. In conclusion, if you order a package and you live in USA, the carrier they use for shipping will not provide you with an update on the new tracking number of the package in USA, unless I am being very unlucky and this is an isolated case.
The 1st time I order the shoe there shoes, I wasn't happy that they give me the wrong size shoe, but I have no choice but to deal with it, but the 2nd time and it happen again, that's embarrassing. Not recommend to buy anything from Asos, save you're and go somewhere else.
Answer: Hello Em, Yes it is true. The site has very poor delivery and customer service. I do not recommend it.
Answer: Doubt it, I don't think they sell any knock off's. Depending on the print you got, some of them don't have stripes. Hope that helps.
Answer: No. They will find 101 reasons to screw you out of your money
Answer: No. If anything it has gottten worse.
Answer: Look, as I wrote here I shopped with them many times and I was never disappointed. I don't know where you buy from, but I live in Italy and it doesn't take more than 4-5 working days for them to deliver the package. If you're concerned about the quality, well, it's not really top-notch, but considering the price it's really good (you can't expect Max Mara quality from a shirt you paid 20 euros). As for the fit be careful because those are UK sizes and they are definitely NOT vanity sizing! Meaning: when you read "model pictured wears UK 8" you may think "they're lying, she's clearly a 6" but they're actually not in most cases. I have a body similar to that of most of their models, I ordered size 6 twice and it was a tiny bit small. So size accordingly. All in all I trust them and I like their product. Perfect low-cost site to shop from online.
Answer: Complain about Asos through the Retail Ombudsman, if more people complain about companies like Asos they will have no choice but to improve their service to their customers.
Answer: Your only option with asos is live chat. I used it just now and also a few days ago and it worked just fine. They solved all my issues. Chat is the only way to contact.
Answer: You have to be a careful shopper. Check the fabric content! I just purchased Is 4 pairs of cargo pants. Same style, different colors. They are 100% cotton and excellent quality. I also purchased things by topshop and free people on this site. Asos has its own brand but sells others. Returns are effortless so I don't know why so many people are complaining. I have very high standards and they haven't let me down yet.
