I really don't know how this company exists in a competitive market. All the items I bought looked like a cheap replica of the brand they represented and in addition I was severely abused by the head of the customer's service in the UK while I was pregnant.
This woman called Ravinder came to my beauty salon asking for a haircut and when our team tried their best to do their job she said it was nice but didn't fit her concept. After that she grabbed a bunch of our products claiming that she needed to be compensated. She started to severely insult me and my team and asked her boyfriend to come in and have a fight with us so that she can get the compensation. She explicitly told us that she was in the head office of ASOS and that we will be sorry for not giving her the products she requested for free.
We had to call the police and after examining the case it turned out that this was the 5th beauty salon she did a scene!
I wrote to ASOS and provided the footage of the abuse but all I got was a vague response and no responsibility taken whatsoever! They did confirm that she was working there though!
I permanently stopped shopping from there as when this is the attitude towards your customers then what can be worse?!
I do hope this company dies out in the future as they don't deserve any respect or customers!

Product is 50/50. Returns can take FOREVER. I once had a return take 3 months. Now I always take pics and get a receipt when I drop off returns. I haven't had much issue until my last 2 purchases and I purchase 5-10 times a year for the last 5-6 years. Customer service had POOR attitude, were very slow at responding in live chat and not helpful at all. It was obvious they are running on scripts.

I used a coupon code and it went through fine when I completed the order, but they charged me full price. Instead of issuing me a credit for the difference they told me to repurchase and use the coupon code and then return the order. So basically, I will have $202 tied up for the next month or two. One live customer service person abruptly passed me to someone else that was even more stern, and he refused to escalate my problem to the specialist team (who the first person said they would fwd my request to) and then quickly closed the chat.

They DO NOT care about the customer anymore. They even asked me if I had screenshots of my purchase with the discount. Who does that? Well, I guess if I ever shop their again, I will take screen shots of my purchase.

It's extremely sad when you have to take pictures and get proof to return AND purchase things.

Not bad BUT...
May 5, 2015

Ordered some scarves and ties for my husband and everything went smoothly the delivery was quick and on time, the products are of good quality and I was really glad about it. Okay but there was this knitted scarf that I later found out to be faulty as threads on the edge started coming undone so I asked for an exchange. The customer service came back really quickly after a couple of hours through email saying they were happy to sent me a replacement. The delivery came really quickly without delay just after 2 days, but then the scarf I got back was not at all as good quality as the previous one, which i have already sent back to them. It wasn't as soft and as thick as if it has been compressed. The pattern on the scarf was clearly flattened and the whole scarf wasn't in quite good shape. Because i bought it for my husband's birthday which was in like 3 days so I don't bother to ask for a refund or exchange again, but I was clearly not very pleased about it. I guess it is not asos' fault at the end of the day it might be from the supplier where they get their products from or it is perhaps that I am just too fussy about thing. Well no one wants to be unsatisfied about the goods they purchased right?

No customer service
March 23, 2017

Been trying for hours to resolve this issue of a refund. It's been a maddening waste of my time. I ordered with a prepaid gift card from my birthday. After the funds were spent I threw away the card some weeks later. Now ASOS refunded the prepaid gift card, and refuses to give me any of the old card information. Their "customer service" just keeps repeating to call the gift card because the refund was successful. I have tried calling the gift card, however I have NO information to give them. No card number or exp date. So they have nothing to help me. They can't just offer me a new gift card because I tell them a company called asos refunded an old gift card, can you give me a new one? No I don't have the number, no my name isn't on it. Ok thanks... I can't reach a single person. There isn't a number and the social media is useless.
Unless you don't care about the money you are spending, DO NOT SHOP ASOS. Most of the items have to be returned for sizing reasons anyway. I have Been a customer for years, and haven't had any problems returning. Now that I see how terrible customer service is when you DO come across a problem, I can't justify giving them my business. They don't care. So I don't care.

Great products and good customer service, they have a facebook page that's 24 hours and answer inmediately. The only con is that the shipping it's a bit slow but it's free so I can't complain.

I had accidentally entered the wrong address for my order and they will not let you change that once the order is placed. You also aren't allowed to cancel the order after a specified time. I did not realize this and tried to tell customer service and the response was either hope they mail it back to asos or GO TO THE STRANGE ADDRESS AND HOPE THEY LET ME HAVE MY PACKAGE. Yes a customer service representative actually told me that this was an option that I had. That is wildly unsafe advice and this representative should be fired. Never order from a site that won't let you cancel the order. That's robbery.

IT HAS BEEN 6 MONTHS THAT I RETURNED THINGS AND THEY HAVE NOT REFUNDED ME A SINGLE ORDER.

Due to an error in the return of an order in which I had only been refunded two pieces instead of 5, I have realized that I have not been refunded any of the returns I have made in the last 6 months. I have contacted several customer service people and they keep confirming the refund saying to check with the bank (I have already done so and there is not ONE transfer on their part). When I ask for bank reference numbers or details of the transaction, they either don't answer me or they answer me with something that has nothing to do with it. THIEVES.

Worst experience ever!
September 28, 2016

I have never had such bad experience with online shopping. This isn't the first time - no, its the second time - not only did they give me the wrong size but it was a COMPLETELY different colour AND COMPLETELY DIFFERENT to what the website stated and described it as. I ordered a black denim skirt and what do i get? A plus size BLUE denim skirt. Completely different! I am so mad. DO NOT TRUST ASOS

I ordered a few items and paid for 2 day shipping, receive by feb 21st. I got an update email saying my items were going to be delivered about a week and a half after I ordered. When I contacted them about this issue they just kept sending me their help page link. When I asked for a refund on the 2 day shipping charges they stated that they couldn't because their website stated it was high volume and orders would be delayed. There was NOTHING on their website the day I ordered saying anything about delays. Shipping said I would receive by the end of the week. I know what I saw and what I was doing. I needed the items for an event this coming weekend and when I placed the order, I made sure I would receive items on time(esp because I paid for the higher shipping charges.) Awful customer service, awful way to do business. Awful that they offer 2 day shipping when in fact they're just trying to steal your money and send items regular mail.(We all know sometimes shipping is the reason we don't even continue our orders and buy items) so what the $#*!, allowing ppl to pay for a service you won't even offer. I will never order from them again. I couldn't believe how awful their customer service was when I contacted them with this problem.

Item Never Receive
August 30, 2018

Unfortunately, I do not have the option to give zero stars but I would, if given the choice. Dealing with ASOS's 'customer service' (if you can even call it that) is absolutely horrendous. Firstly, they do not give you the option to call them, only to do an online chat or e-mail, which should have been my first red flag. Secondly, I ordered a dress back on 8/20 and received the shipping and tracking info for the package, then on 8/23 the package was halted and UPS marked it as 'Damaged' and stated that the package was missing. I spoke to the customer service rep via online chat and they told me to wait until 8/30 as this was the estimated date of arrival. After that, she said, they would be able to help me. So I waited until 8/30 and of course, still no package. So I messaged their online support and was given the answer that now I needed to wait until 10pm for the package to arrive. Never was I told I needed to wait until 10pm during my first discussion on 8/23. I told them I would be disputing the charges with PayPal. They changed their answer after that, of course. Telling me that they would need to wait for the damaged parcel to be returned to their warehouse which would take anywhere up to 10 days, and then I would have to wait up to 10 additional business days to receive a refund. I asked how I would even know when the package was sent back to the warehouse and they informed me I would get an e-mail. I said thanks but no thanks and I will still be disputing the charges with PayPal. They disconnected the chat after that. Never again!

Missing package
May 10, 2020

I placed an order with ASOS Mid February Expected delivery was March15 we are currently MAY! I have yet to receive my package I have been emailing their customer service team every day to every other day all they do is give me the run around. I laid 95$ and received nothing so ARE THEY THIEVES? Every time someone replies to me they just tell me to look around my house for the package. I am beyond furious and will make sure to never order from them again and I will be spreading the word

Last Saturday 3rd February before midnight made next day delivery purcheses. Confirmation came by email at 00.40a.m. Happy With my husband we will have new shoes for my annual job awards gala. Waited 4 days and delivery havent arrived. Contacted Custumer service. Get information- delivery company have issues.well that is not my problem. Asked for compensation. Get offer of 10% off next purchases. I refused it. Employees in Asos have 40% off. Tryied to refund my purcheses and premium delivery for whole year. Chated with 5 agents. Took me that almost 2h. Wanted to cancel whole shopping but one of agent already re send my order. So now need to wait to be delivered and after return it and after claim refund.
Really unhappy and disappointed. It was my and my husband last order in Asos.

Items are nice but duties is a killer-Landmark
December 8, 2021

I actually like most of the items I ordered from ASOS but my experience was tainted due to the delivery. ASOS Canada uses Canada Post and Landmark for their shipping. These together are worse than UPS. At least with UPS there's a customer service team that I can contact to receive the invoice to self clear my items at CBSA to avoid exorbitant duty fees, and furthermore at least they tell you ahead of time. Canada Post and Landmark don't give any forewarning. I was wondering where my shipment was and decided to check the tracking information only to find out my items were being held at a local Canada Post. There was no notification or delivery notice. When I went to go pick it up I was then told I had to pay a COD fee. Collect on Delivery. It was a shock that for an order I paid $231 + $25 shipping I was now expected to pay an additional $85. There was no invoice showing me a breakdown, no explanation of the cost. NOTHING. The clerk told me I could call Landmark and request a refund after I paid. Landmark does NOT have customer service or a phone number for people to call. Honestly until ASOS resolves this just save your money and avoid ordering from them. There are so many other online retailers that are more reasonable. I've ordered quite a few items over the last couple weeks, this is the only thing I've had to pay duties for. Landmark is a thief
