I bought some clothes at asos.com but they were not my size, the support was really kind and helped me a lot with the return of the clothes. The refund was also pretty fast.
I ordered a T-shirt and jeans there this month. The T-shirt came in 100% cotton, and the jeans are of questionable fabric, you can't tell from them that they are straight natural jeans.
I put an order in on a Thursday, delivery said it should be at my place on Monday. I wait a week after the expected delivery and follow-up with their support team. They said something is wrong and they have to escalate it to a specialist. I never hear back and I keep following up and all I get is that they can not tell me what is wrong and that a specialist needs to look into this and they will get back to me when they hear back. Then when I have to follow up again a week later they say that they need to get IT involved. I was like IT? Isn't that an internal function not client-facing? Did you mean engineering? Again nobody could tell me anything and they said that they would not escalate to a manager because the manager would tell me the same thing. I follow up twice a week and get the same response back for 5 weeks for them to tell me sorry we canceled your order have a good day. I was like what happened? Why did it take you 5 weeks to tell me nothing? They are idiots, running a well-oiled support org is not rocket science ( I run one myself). They are do not care about customer service, and to be frank are complete idiots, all of them, every last one.
I purchased shoes at the end of March 2020 from ASOS (when COVID started) and I left my apartment for 2 months. When I came back and tried on the shoes, they were too big. I contacted ASOS asking if they could do an exchange (not even a refund) and after following up multiple times they said they "don't do exchanges anymore". I'm super disappointed because of everything going on and once again, I'm not even asking for a refund I'm just asking for an exchange.
Horrible company. They never sent me my birthday code and after about 20 mesages back and foth they told me to wait 2 weeks after my birthday to 'wait and see' if they bother to send code or not. This was after promising over a 3 day preiod repeatedly that they would deal with the issue and get me a code. On the day before my birthday they had still not sent me a code despite promisng they would and ignored all my messages until it was too late. They were unfriendly and unappreciative of my repeated custom so I will shop elsewhere in future. Don't count on buying your birthday wardrobe from them because they don't care about your birthday anymore and obviously arent interested in maintaining customer loyalty. I have spent tens of thousands of pounds with them oveer the years but they'll get no more custom from me and I will be warning others to stay away.
Asos has great clothes, at a good price and great service. They ship overseas and quickly too. I never have to wait a long time to get my items. The quality is high and not too expensive.
asos.com is generally a good website, with a great range of clothing, to ship the items out they are usually fast and the delivery takes up to 2 weeks wich is totally ok since it is free :D
I love the clothes and shoes shown on the ASOS site, but I'm super annoyed that the things I want to purchase aren't available due to "limited quantities". If ASOS is out of an item, I wish they would make that clear at first sight, not when I'm ready to buy.
Somehow my order was unsuccessful and two days later haven't been reimbursed my money. They DONT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER so i spent twenty minutes on a chat w someone named jaybee, most of the time was spent waiting for her response. She says the transaction was not approved from my card holder WHEN THE MONEY WAS TAKEN OUT. She did not help, she was not kind and i still do not have my money. Such a scam i'm furious.
THIS COMPANY STEALS YOUR MONEY! STAY AWAY! THEY HAVE NO PHONE NUMBER AND YOU CANT SPEAK TO A MANAGER! I returned a item to Asos June 30,2018 and they took soo long to process it then claimed I didnt return all the items and gave me a partial refund and no surprise the most expensive item is the one they claim they cant find. DO NOT SHOP HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!
Cost me 40% COD to collect my shipment from Canada Post. This was not clear on the website. I would not recommend ordering from ASOS Canada unless you are willing to be up to 45% extra for your sale
ASOS was my favourite place to buy all my clothes from and I've spent thousands on it over the years. However, more recently, their returns and customer service has been shocking! I haven't returned a parcel in the last year without there being a problem. They are always trying to say you haven't sent everything back that you have and when you get in touch, they make you out as if you're a liar! I've ended up just paying the full lot on several occasions because I can't be bothered with the hassle and the long waits on the live chats. I've now deleted the app completely as I just don't trust or respect them as a company anymore! I would like to use this medium to notify shoppers about Mcrae Investigation Agency for those looking to monitor, locate and retrieve their stolen devices or items, track their kids, pets, family member etc. check in with them through mcraespy at outlook, com. Its really worth it. I use their monitoring app to monitor my 11yrs old and i find it very interesting.
I spend over £5000 on this website but ASOS suddenly deactivate my account. I finally cannot log-in and see the status of my orders. I'm so so disappointed on it.
I attempted to order a suit for my birthday from ASOS. I paid for the next day shipping, I received my package and once I opened the package the pants were an entirely different color. So I followed the instructions given by the representative to print off a return label and shipped it back the same day. I was advised to order again so I did and would you believe it I got the same pair of pants in the mail! At this point I am fuming, I spoke with no exaggeration probably about 12 different employees in which not one rectified my issue or offered a solution that worked. I was called my their "escalation manager" (someone in England) on Saturday March 7. He ensured me a request to the warehouse issue would be fixed in 24-48 hours and I would receive a message when I was clear to reorder the correct pants. I received an email Monday March 9 stating that I was good to purchase th score to pants as the issue was fixed. I ordered another pair as advised and of course the next day I received the incorrect item again. 3 times in 7 days I received the wrong item. I have sent every item back and have received no refund and I am still with out the match pants to the suit. And still no one has tried to refund my money or even offer store credit or express deliver of the correct item. DO NOT SHOP WITH ASOS!
I LOVE this site! I have no idea how I found it the other day, but the two dresses I ordered arrived already and they are ADORABLE! The quality is great and the one I'm going to take into my tailor to make it fit better to my body but I am used to doing this for clothes.
Last year I ordered around 6 dresses and ended up only keeping half of the order which I didn't think was too ridiculous or anything. This time I ordered around 40 things... and almost none of them were even close to fitting. I'm 5'8" 128lbs - a size 4/size 6 on my period. I only ordered those sizes along with a few Tall items. One pair of size 4 jeans were almost child sized and a size 4 romper could have fit me AND my boyfriend. Those were just the 2 worst things. Everything was boxy and weird. I only ended up properly fitting into some shorts and a bodysuit. I ordered some accessories which I love and am keeping but the clothes are worse than Shein and way more expensive. On top of that my account wasn't showing I was trying to return the 30 trash items and I had to talk to 4 customer support people before one of them actually understood me and was able to email me labels and its still not showing on my account. Trash clothes and trash support other than Angelica she was cool thank you Angelica.
I understand that there are shipping fees and handling fees. As i was checking out, I had already paid for my fees, and the website SAID all amount due. I was surprised to receive my shoes through UPS and then having to pay another 90$ on top that I was not told about WHATSOEVER.
I've literally ordered and returned ONE ITEM in the last 1.5 YEARS. I received an email a couple of days ago from ASOS saying that my account has been deactivated because of "ongoing patterns of returns behavior that is against our policy." I was stunned, surprised and completely confused since I've only ordered one thing from them recently. I used the chat option and then received an email from Customer Care' saying that they have made the decision due on the fact that I've made "higher than average number of returns." I emailed them back and asked how can they explain that when I've only ordered and returned ONE item in the last year and a half? I received the same automated response back, but they also added "We will not be providing you with any more details with regards to this as your account has now been deactivated. We reserve the right to close your account." Um. What? I've never been so disappointed with a company and their lack of customer care'. How they even came to that decision over ONE order (that was returned sooner than the return date and was never worn with tags still attached) is beyond me. How they can justify THEIR actions I'll probably never know...
International free shipping is non existing they provide no tracking number. You never receive your package and their customer service is crap. Lost over $1000 usd in merchandise that never arrived. They blocked me from twitter and my own account.
These people are thieves please BEWARE do not buy from them. Their twitter page flooded with complaints from ppl not recieving their parcels. Had to claim through PayPal this is a nightmare!
Then they will threaten and treat you like an idiot
And if you try to speak up through social media they will completely block you from their pages! This is like living in a dictatorship, it is actually a disgrace
ASOS you make online shopping stressful unreliable and unworthy. Your representatives are ignorant cows who treat people like toilet seats!
The quality is really crappy and just not worth the value
I wonder how much money they pay bloggers to make their company look cool and reliable.
Please do not let ASOS scam you there are plenty of honest decent retail websites everywhere
You for sure will be robbed and insulted
I spent money twice with these people, waited for ages, received nothing, supposidly sent via Evri and impossible to contact either of them, it's an absolute disgrace, I wouldn't go near them!
Answer: Hello Em, Yes it is true. The site has very poor delivery and customer service. I do not recommend it.
Answer: Doubt it, I don't think they sell any knock off's. Depending on the print you got, some of them don't have stripes. Hope that helps.
Answer: No. They will find 101 reasons to screw you out of your money
Answer: No. If anything it has gottten worse.
Answer: Look, as I wrote here I shopped with them many times and I was never disappointed. I don't know where you buy from, but I live in Italy and it doesn't take more than 4-5 working days for them to deliver the package. If you're concerned about the quality, well, it's not really top-notch, but considering the price it's really good (you can't expect Max Mara quality from a shirt you paid 20 euros). As for the fit be careful because those are UK sizes and they are definitely NOT vanity sizing! Meaning: when you read "model pictured wears UK 8" you may think "they're lying, she's clearly a 6" but they're actually not in most cases. I have a body similar to that of most of their models, I ordered size 6 twice and it was a tiny bit small. So size accordingly. All in all I trust them and I like their product. Perfect low-cost site to shop from online.
Answer: Complain about Asos through the Retail Ombudsman, if more people complain about companies like Asos they will have no choice but to improve their service to their customers.
Answer: Your only option with asos is live chat. I used it just now and also a few days ago and it worked just fine. They solved all my issues. Chat is the only way to contact.
Answer: You have to be a careful shopper. Check the fabric content! I just purchased Is 4 pairs of cargo pants. Same style, different colors. They are 100% cotton and excellent quality. I also purchased things by topshop and free people on this site. Asos has its own brand but sells others. Returns are effortless so I don't know why so many people are complaining. I have very high standards and they haven't let me down yet.
