No communication with the public. No time frame on service being restored. Been out since 330am. I will be changing carriers asap. After more than a decade you will lose me. I know you don't care. And neither do I.

I've paid off the installment plan and was told that the phone would get unlocked. It was confirmed twice that it was unlocked but somehow the confirmation email was never sent. Over a week long, 6-8 hours later, about 15 phone calls...10 of those phone calls mysteriously got disconnected with no return call, the phone is still locked and they conveniently asked me to check back on Monday (after another billing cycle) and having to wait for another 30 days. I know for a fact that this is a 15 minute fix.

This is such a racket and ways of frustrating consumers so that they stay with AT&T rather than deal with this. I was planning on removing just one number but now am moving my whole service elsewhere. Don't switch to AT&T. New consumers beware of going with AT&T.

16 times I have called and 4 times chatted online with them. All I need os the box I pay 40.00 a month for to work. Home phone is okay but the internet that comes with it has been inoperative for a month. And NO ONE WILL HELP ME!
I am so frustrated I would tell anyone to absolutely not choose AT&T.
They are a joke and all the reps too. :(

ATT is clueless
August 11, 2021

Horrible senior management that has progressively turned ATT into a business disaster.
Terrible systems, terrible customer service and generally terrible employee attitude.
Top management should all be fired by the remaining stockholders for malfeasance.

Thieves!
November 14, 2022

I have the AT&T Internet 100 plan. With my ACP benefit applied, my monthly bill should be $0. However, for the past 4 months, AT&T has been billing me different amounts ($35 in August, $41 in Sept., $55 in Oct., $61 in Nov.). I've spent hours on the phone with AT&T, confirmed this was in error with a supervisor last week, and was told my November bill would be $0. However, today they just drafted another $61 out of my bank account. I am FURIOUS. People on limited incomes can't afford surprise bills — that's the whole point of the ACP, and what it promises to the consumer.

Since numerous phone calls to AT&T obviously did not solve the problem of these surprise bills, I am escalating this to a formal complaint. I want a REFUND and a written pledge from AT&T that they will honor their ACP contract with the federal government and with me in the future. No more surprise bills or illegal drafts from my bank!

Terrible
January 10, 2023

Cell Service is horrible along with customer service. I've only had them for a month and I've had nothing but trouble out of my phone and service. I'm not able to log into my account and they seem to not know how to fix it. I've been trying to speak with a supervisor for a month now and they leave me on hold for 45 mins to 1 hour or longer until I eventually get sick of waiting and hang up. Ridiculous!

Disappointed
June 3, 2022

Firstly I recently met a At& t sales representative in Target. She made offers for new phones and better monthly rate, come to find out she left out so much important details. She lied just to try to make a sale so unfortunate we get so desperate.

AT&T is dishonest with its customers. We purchased 2 new iphones and were told over the phone that if we returned our old phone would have got a 350$ credit. As it turns out the credit was spread out over 36 months, but in the multiple calls I had we them they did not specify this at all. We could have sold out iphones privately and would have made much more money. In fact, they quoted me over the phone for 60$ less than our actual bill has turned out to be. 3 different representative at 3 different times told me our bill would go down once they received and recorded our old phones, but this never happened! I consider this equivalent to theft! On top of the fact that their prices are way above every other phone company, that their customer service assistance on the phone is pitiful. Do not be fooled by AT&T what they say they offer is just bogus.

STAY AWAY!
October 28, 2022

I was approached my a kid at Sams Club about swapping over to AT&T. We had been discussing swapping over so this was convenient for us. He had told us if we traded our phones in we would get a $1000 trade in all these great promos. We traded in two IPHONE 12 PRO max for the Iphone 13 Pro max. A year later I am still fighting with them over the trade ins and our bill. Our bill for three phones was supposed to have been 180.00. It has never been that low. After three months of one of my trade ins "lost" I finally got credit for it. $250.00. The other phone I got a $800 credit for. These credits do not go straight to the phone payments. They are applied as you pay the 36 payments monthly. Another lie I was told. The service is garbage the and they are crooks.

I am a licensed CPA and I am warning anyone considering doing business with AT&T Prepaid Wireless to think twice. This organization interrupted my service was subsequently paid the balance due, my credit card credit limited decreased, and have not restored my service. I spent over an hour trying to communicate with their foreign employees about this matter and the level of incompetence is appalling! Do not waste your precious time doing business with this organization.
