Never upgrade or trade in a phone with this company you will be putting yourself in a contract. Never trade in your phone, purchase on your own. AT&T practices are deceiving. I called in to pay off a phone I received after I traded in a phone I purchased directly from Apple and I was told I have to finish paying in installments in order to receive credit for the trade in which puts you in a contract. AT&T continues to lie to customers. It's the last time I will do any business with them I'm canceling their WI-FI and television service today I'm taking my money elsewhere.

Called their 800 number to report it, very nice lady took ALL of my info including that I have this line down in my back yard where I have 4 dogs needing to go out. Over 24 hours later I just got a call from what sounded like their Indian call center wanting me to verify more info so they knew what kind of tech to send out. UMH how about the one that picks the $#*!ing line up you morons. Just informed them Ill cut it myself and toss it over the fence so the cops can take it up with them. How ignorant do you need to be to be on the board for ATT? Absolutely astonishes me that this company is so screwed up and it all stems from the top down. Screw them, pay a little extra for Comcast youll get what you pay for.
We stopped in the Lake Hallie store for a upgrade phone and received the best service service from Kay and Cory, They were both very friendly and knowledgeable so in short AWESOME is the only word that comes to mind.
I was with AT&T for years. Unfortunately I had to deal with them again recently. Nothing has changed since I left. This would be the last cell or internet company I would use if I were you. I sincerely hope this review dissuades at least one person to go elsewhere. What could have been a simple fix or remedy on their part will hopefully cost them business and profit. I'll take some satisfaction in that.

AT&T wireless, U-verse, home phone, and internet do not value their customers. Their customer service is dated. You have to spend too much time with the automated operator, on the phone telling people your name, and being transferred to someone different after you have explained what you are calling for. It is all too time-consuming. There are better rates available. They market new clients with better options than their current customers and raise current customer rates. From an over 20 year customer. Try something different.
If you plan to trade-in, please be cautious. We traded our phone for 1000 credits, and AT&T adjusted our promotion from 1000 to 350 after 6 months! That was not fair, even though I received a message from AT&T confirming that my trade-in phone qualified for $1,000. Bye AT&T and never come back

I have received more than 2 dozen phone calls by representatives of AT&T. I have been approached on every occasion, and threatened with the option of accepting a deal to switch my landline service to a voice over service, or my service would be terminated; 'Tough' ' I don't know what to tell you' was their response. Its not a service we're going to be providing anyonore.
AT&T is paying people to harass and intimidate their customers. If placing unfair ultimatums on your paying customers isn't bad business; i will tell you the people that they hire to call you a do their bidding at all costs certainly is, and its repulsive. I can only imagine what the elderly population has gone through when answering the phone and being threatened and bullied by these tyrants. Show up to upgrade to new Iphone 14 Pro Max. Price tag of 1599.99. Desperately needed to utilize the facilities while my wife was deciding on a phone. I was informed they have no public restrooms but they were more than happy to direct me across the street to two privately owned restaurants to utilize their facilities. So... I know you're spending a fortune in our store but the mom and pop across the street is happy to allow us to send our customers to use their facilities even though you're spending nothing there. Horrible customer service.
I have Government Funded internet, AT&T always fine a way to charge me late fee for 9.99. I ask when is my bill due, I was told it varies, it on the same day every month, When I paid in January the agent returned an overpayment, Now it's February 13 and I'm being charged a late fee. The automated payment says my bill is due February 18. AT&T unfair practice Is just wrong. The agent said the due date varies, but a week before the due date just another reason to charge me late fees. Sad, the rich have to scam the poor.

AT&T has the worst customer service of any company I have ever encountered. In-store only wants to sell stuff. Once you have a problem - they brush you off to the 800 number which has the most INCOMPETENT people who NEVER resolve your issue. I just wrote to the corporate office to complain, but I doubt they will even respond. Use a different company, any company would be better.
Hello friends & families. I had switched my cellular services over to AT&T, thinking I could get a better service and let me be honest with you all before you decided to switch over to AT&T. 1st I was given false informations. My bills was over $500s for 4 lines on the 1st months when I was told my monthly payment will not change! Which supposed to be 220 a months. Everything they told me was a LIES and unprofessional knowledge. 2nd, if you don't pay your bills on times you will had to pay $35 restored fees plus late fee. It's was very difficult and frustrating to have to deals with AT&T about the bills and all other extra hidden fees that you weren't being told about. I was so frustrating with them with my bills being going up and up every month. After my 4 months I switched to T-Mobile. And yet my final bill is still over $300s. And let me tell you, it's was even more frustrating. So don't waste your times to switched over. I do not want you guys to go through what I go through. They will tell you what you need to hear and when you called for questions about fees, they will direct you& told you that it's your responsibility to know and that all fees are in the website. I just hate ATT!
If I could, I'd give no stars, negative even. I cancelled all services because of the outrageous prices in December, spending hours on phone calls. And guess what? I've had to pay around 290 dollars as of February. 290! When I called to refute, they said I didn't return the motem. When I called in December they never told me to. This was a fault on their end. If they were willing to refund me, I wouldn't be writing this email. But no. They 1, refuse to pay me back even though it says 0 DATA USAGE (because WOW what a shock IM NOT USING IT!) and 2, blaming it on me when I specifically called and cancelled all services. AT and T is a terrible service. Please, by no means, pay for this.
Landline didn't work for months, I tried to turn it off. But they just give me the runaround and keep taking out money from the bank account. They suck as a company go somewhere else.So don't even bother with them because that's all they do is hassle you. I will never do anything again with this company again! I had to pay them about $180 dollars and didn't even use the landline! They got mad cause I want to the bank to stop payment and still got a final notice for $36.14 that said if I don't pay I will be sent to a collections agency. Talked to an agent every month for about 4 months. I paid $36.14 let's see if I get another bill next month.
