A AT&T Rep came to our house and stated that if we traded in our phone (she look the phone and approved) we only need to pay the taxes on the phone however we got the bill yesterday and it haves a bill of $800. When went to the store to speak to a rep they couldn't help and stated that they can't accept the phone therefore we owe $800. We have been victims of misrepresentation. I literally have been on the phone with AT&T early mornings and evenings after work, for a whole week. And nothing gets done. They tell you fake promises just to shut you up. They promise to reimburse me, they promise to send some one this past Saturday nobody showed or tx me to let me know they were not coming. I had AT&T for many years. We were good customers and paid on time all the time. Got a new phone thru them and after 10 days need to change it because it did not work with my hearing aids. 3 different people including one superviser gave me 3 different stories. 1 said I could change out the phone cuz I was within 14 days. The 2nd person was very rude and said I was past my 14 days even though it was only 10 days. The third person was a supervisor and told me I was at a totally different number of days and they would not change out my phone. I cancelled my service and went with another service where I am saving $50 a month. PLUS, now i am trying to unlock my phones. I have tried for 2 months to get one unlocked. Yesterday I spent 1 hour and 45 minutes on the phone to get the other 2 unlocked. No dice. Then the rep said she would call me between noon and 2 p.m. today to get the others unlocked. It is now 2:30 and no one has called. HORRIBLE COMPANY.
If I could give a 0 star I would they screwed up in the store when they set up my account now to add a line or upgrade or anything I have to pay the full amount (1200$) on the phone because they never added the cost of the phone in with my monthly service payment.
Switching to ATT has been the worst choice I have ever made. I ported two numbers over from another carrier, I bought a new phone for one of the #s and wanted to keep my old phone for the other... ironically, the phone I bought ported fine, but ATT keeps loosing the acct information for the phone we are keeping... the only way to get them to provide service for this # is to buy a new phone which we dont need or want... I have to file a BBB claim :(
ATT coverage is very bad. An ATT seller came to my home and convinced me to move to ATT and now I can even not use phone at work since there is no coverage and ATT can not resolve and alsomdoes not provide any solution. If you want a new carrier pay the penalty. Also the cost was not what was sold. This company is a joke.

Since 2020 they have made me pay for a line that I don't use. I bought an iPad and when the person set it up Somehow it messed up my phone line, (the phone line is my daughter's bday) I will not lose that number., so then I was having issues between those two things.

So stupidly, I went and got a new iPad one that I can use for work, and they decided to add two lines to my account that I didn't even need, and due to working 12-13 hour days I didn't catch it for two months. I keep getting told that their opponent's service isn't as good where I live, so I'm stuck! I don't know what to do!
I called them to see why my 20gigs was going over, it seems like the last few months it was always getting closer, it wasn't like that before never got close to the 20gigs. They told me for the same price I was paying I could get unlimited everything then I get my first bill and it's $10 more they told me my 2 other phones have a $5 service charge for the unlimited plan. That's not what they told me on the phone I'm trying to save money now they want to get more money out of me, time to change to another phone company.
Been with ATT for over 19 years. They had some issues during the Direct TV merger but seemed to fall back on track so stuck with them. No discounts, no thank you for loyalty nothing in those 19 years so when I heard COX was offering mobile with your COX cable account for $45 a month that was about $50 cheaper than ATT's comparable plan I jumped all over it.

They specifically stated it was wrong and tried to get me refunded. This continued. I bout a phone from At@T and it was the worst mistake of my life they sell u insuriance for it but if something goes wrong they do not make good on it they lie and tell u its time to upgrade your phone and charge u more money at the end of the day my prepaid phone service is way cheaper and the phone gets better service at te end of the day its a complete ripp off
I've been a pretty solid customer for 5 years if not more. First off they double charged me on a family plan ( two times for the same) (phone number).
When i called to ask why they dud this i was told they only keep records for 6 months.
Second they keep changing the dates which in return takes away from my play so they are basically double charging more or less.
The first 3 years my phone bill was due on the same date and then out of no where they started taking money out 4 days from the original date. Last month they took out the 10th for the 12th and now they are taking out money on the 9th. When i called to find out why the thong at the other end said because theres 28 days in the month and flipping hung up on me. GET YOUR $#*! TOGETHER!

I made a banking error resulting in an overpayment of $1450. By the time I realized my error, the funds had been withdrawn from the account. It has been 2 weeks of dealing with absolute incompetence from the Philippines, culminating in my receiving a debit card from an ATT owned bank for the refund. DEBIT CARD! I was told I would be getting a check. Now I have spent more time with the Phillipino staff- I attempted to register the card! So I could request a bank tanker which would take 2- three days. Only one problem. The "system wasn't working". I have now requested a check which will take another 2 weeks. Unbelievable. Do not do business with ATT. They are beyond terrible.
Att do not make my $800 in Credit reinbursment on iPhone 13 pro max because usps sent to wrong place and they do not recive on time, when talk to customer service rep. I need my phone back to my home, they said do not return to me and just give me a $300 Credit, i consider its a fraud.

Going thru hard times, my payment didnt go thru as scheduled, they then tacted on all charges within not even 24 hr expecting full payment. Called spoke with people that said they have no access for help. Been with them over 10+ and this is hiw they treat people. Better start being customer fucused instead of making the dollar.
