Switched to T-Mobile after decades and kept getting billed by AT&T because I was misinformed by their terrible CSR's. The WORST!
My 90-year old mother received a phone from AT&T with all the bells and whistles on the account - that she did not order! Since December, almost $1500 of charges have accrued and the box wasn't even opened till she brought it to an AT&T office. Their fraud reporting web site took us to their fraud reporting phone number - which took us BACK to the fraud reporting web site! It would be easy to conclude that AT&T is complicit in this fraud!
OK so my biggest question is is AT&T really that stupid or did they just hire really stupid $#*! people that don't know their $#*! from their elbow?
Not only are these people foreigners but they're others as well completely incompetent literally stupid to achieve no self-respect no Diggity no welcoming no conversationalist nothing!
Now see if most people have a job they're usually polite decent have respect for the people that are paying their wages and their bills since they're working and since I am a patron and I am a customer I expect just as much as anybody does they have that give them back!
But AT&T must not train assist or acknowledge any of that with their stupid $#*! people that they hire so if a person gets a job like myself and I have to be polite and decent and dignified with customers explain to me how AT&T ….DOESN' T!
Are they bred to be stupid incompetent worthless at any conversation and they're not willing to look before they speak and listen do you understand English
It's a sad shame that they are still in business with the amount of complaints that they have I'm surprised somebody has not taken them out completely yet the whole building and each individual person that is literally incompetently stupid
If I had a job like these dummies, I Would have been fired five minutes ago but as you can see they're still working!
But not only are the staff are stupid and incompetent the management must be too because they're never in the office never call you back never talk to you and never communicate so again my question stance but I'm sure a lot of you will agree how do they stay in business and how do they hire breed stupid people and pay them as much as they do to do absolutely absolutely positively definitely nothing to help out with anything!
Att is a con company. Got my grandad and I with the free galaxy note 2018 promo. Now when I see them offering free phones I cringe. We got the phones with a 2 yr agreement then 2022 our bill was averaging 700+ dollars for 2 lines. After reviewing the bill come to find out neither phone was free we were paying 35 dollars a month for them(tried to say the money was reimbursed but credit card statements prove other wise). We then told them to cancel the lines so we could use our phone on a different network which they told us we'd have to pay $300+ for each line to do to pay off the phones which should have already been payed off at the end of 2021 year. We paid them off then for a month had to play cat and mouse with the company to get our unlock codes. Everything was fine till about 3months ago. We got another letter stating we over paid so they were giving us a gift card instead of refunding the money to our credit cards. Then about a month ago they sent us a bill stating we owed 270+ dollars for something we canceled when we paid off our phones. About 2 weeks ago my phone got an update at 12 at night and the screen went black. Screen would come back with a hard reset only for about 10 min then black out again. Had to buy a new phone because of this( feel like att broke my perfectly good phone cause we werent using them anymore). All in all a very bad experience. I hate att so much I wouldn't ever recommend them to an enemy just to keep them from making a buck. If you have to have att be smart check the fine print and always go over your monthly bills as they like to hide hidden charges and price hikes in them. Would highly recommend anyone other than att as their service is spoty/randomly stops working the years we had them, and their just not honest.
WORST COMPANY EVER! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE BUT THEMSELVES! UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, UNCARING. THE LIST GOES ON AND ON.
AT&T is hands down the worst service I have ever had. DO NOT USE.
I will NEVER use them again. EVER. I don't care if they were the last cell phone service in the world, I would never use them again. Not only does their service not work most of the time, but they charge you even when you cancel for service not provided. I was billed on March 11 (which I didn't know cause their app is garbage and whenever I tried to log in I was stuck on an eternal buffer screen). I called them to cancel AT&T entirely on the 16th of March, after only having 5 days of service and STILL had to pay the full $130.48 amount. For service I did not receive. The useless customer service rep I spoke with told me that the woman who I had spoken with about cancelling should not have terminated the services rendered until the next billing cycle because I was on the hook for the full amount, from March 11 until April 11. So, even though I had absolutely no service from March 16 until this very day, March 31. And even after paying their BS price (for a service they did not provide), the phone still has no service even though I ALREADY PAID FOR IT. AT&T is nothing but a scam, filled with nothing but crooks.
And I should mention that even when I HAD service on the phone, it almost never worked. Which is why I cancelled them in the first place. At the grocery shop? Nope, no service. Had to step outside in the freezing cold to get a signal. In my own home? Nope, sorry, no can do. Still had to step outside to get a single bar. AT&T is absolute trash. I cannot say this strongly enough: DO NOT USE THEM. Literally ANYWHERE else would be better.
I am not one to write reviews ( and I think this would be my first) on anything but this past experience was awful. I understand there are long hold times and am pretty easy going about it but when an issue take 6+ plus hours to not even resolve I feel like I have to say something. We initially had cable and internet. Our areas highest internet speed provided by AT&T when we moved was 30 mbps. (I would be happy to go to Spectrum but unfortunately my work line is provided by them and they cannot have both a personal and business lines in the same house). After our 2 year contract was up I went back to see if they had any higher speed and was ecstatic to see 100 mbps. We are not cable people and only had it due to the low speed internet so the first thing I do is call to cancel Directv and upgrade the internet. This process initially took 1 ½ hours and after all this time the representative advised he could not help and transferred to another representative. About 30 minutes later the current rep fixed the errors of the other (he had added Uverse and upgraded internet) and we were set to have the new internet line installed Aug 15th with a new monthly bill of $50 plus tax (we couldn't get the $40 promotion since we didn't bundle anything). The installer came and went and we had no issues. We even received the return equipment letter we were told we would get for the Directv equipment. Fast forward to today I started by logging in and seeing that our bill went up WE OWE $404. I dig a little deeper and see that we are being billed for Uverse TV now and internet with all these extra fees. I immediately get on the phone thinking it would be a quick resolve since I have dates, names, and past emails of what should have been done. I sat on the phone being passed around from one rep to another with not one person just accepting responsibility for the mix up. They continue to say we can cancel your TV today but you will still owe the $404 4 hours later and my ticket was escalated to only be followed up within 3 days
Lied and changed the price of the plan I signed up for and won't take the POS phones back and charging me 1300 for phones that only cost 300
Wanted to switch to a different carrier so I went to an AT&T store near me. Paid $1,200 to pay off two phones and asked to have them unlocked. Assoc. Toldme they would be unlocked in a few minutes. There other carrier atempted to set up my service with my phones and couldn't because phones wereneverunlocked. The assoc. Worked for three hour on thephone with at&t trying to get
My phones unlocked and all we got was the run around about it taking 1 to 48 hours to unlock and that the reuest hadbeen submitted.
Went back to at&t store the next day and wasgiven some kind of ridiculous answer about there being a world wide phone locking service and it wasn't at&t which is BS and was told they would probably unlock later that day. Went back to at& t the 3rd day and askedan assoc. If he would call customer service for me and check on the status of my unlock process because I didn't have a phone because of them. I was immediately told that they could not call customer service and he refused to try, so as Istormed out was told sarcastically "have a nice day". Went to new carrier and they workedwith me for another hour getting in touch witha breathing person and that person finally checked and found that those requests to unlock had never been submitted and as soon as he did both phones were immediately unlocked. So I was lied to by customer service and by the at&t store sales reps twice! I will do without a phone before goingback to at&t. Besides I saved $140 per month by leaving at&t.
We had to move my mother to an assisted living facility, so I call AT&T to cancel her internet and move her land-line. The first person I talked to said AT&T did not service her new address, and I would have to cancel her AT&T contract and sign up with Spectrum. I wish I had done that. I said I wanted to verify that with the facility she moved to, and hung up. When I called back, the person I spoke to said I had to transfer both the landline and the internet, and drop the internet afterwards, but I also had to call a different number and transferred me; I hung up after being on hold 58 minutes. When I called back, the third person said AT&T did service the new location but did not provide internet there (I had already said we wanted to drop the internet), but he would have to transfer me to a 'specialist'; eventually the specialist came on and introduced himself as 'Tony in Los Angeles'; when I explained what we wanted to do he said the LA office did not support North Carolina clients like myself but not to worry, they could handle it; back into another phone queue. One hour and 25 minutes after the string of transfers began, the line abruptly switched from hold music to a busy signal and then disconnected. And of course, none of the 4 representatives I talked to could actually DO anything except transfer me to another phone queue.
Meanwhile the recorded message kept saying go to AT&T.com to easily move service, but the website just listed a phone number to call. When you call in, they offer to text you a link to their move app, where you can easily move service; when you use the link, you get a text message that the server is down and they can't do any moves.
Stunningly incompetent service.
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
Answer: At this point I am so disgusted with a T and T your customer service skills are horrible they don't help you out they keep transferring you to different departments just to get you off the phone they do not like to resolve problems and promises that they made they do not keep their promises they get you into getting into their products and getting their commission and then they screw you out of what they promise you I do advise anybody to go through a TNT they are lousy
Answer: Because they never really will cancel your service! They overcharge you and when you finally get a hold of them they still refuse to help.
Answer: To answer your question, Simply there is no accountability at AT&T. They bounce you around and they make NO attempt for resolution.
Answer: I use to work for AT&T, they have gone from bad to worse to I don't give a damn, and that's a shame
Answer: That is just silly. He wldnt be a multi millionaire if his businesses were bad. You forget, everybody loved him till he announced he was conservative. Isn't it all the democratic mayor's and governor's states that are going to shit? Or would you rather take crime over parent choice?
