Service fee

The basket of flowers were pretty bit got screwed on the service fee, card and bow. They never told me about a $4.00 fee for the card and the bow. And $17 for service fee. WHAT! What was suppose to be $64.99 turned out to be $98.01. And this is with free delivery. That's bull! What a rip off. I will never order again from them

NEVER AGAIN...
June 24, 2019

Ordered a comfort plant to delivered before my cousins wake at 1:00 pm. Kept calling customer service.
Local florist states comfort plant was delivered to the flower room of the funeral home at 1:00. Hmmmmm that's weird I spoke to my cousin at the funeral home at 3:30 and she stated that the comfort plant still had not been delivered. Very disappointed. When it gets there, I'm am afraid
To ask her what it looked like. Very disappointed. :(

6 day floral delivery?

Placed a holiday order on Dec 23 for same day delivery. Was told it would be delivered on Dec 24, which was fine. Called recipient on Dec 26 to be sure flowers were received in good condition but they hadn't been delivered. Looked up my order and was told in would be delivered on Dec 29! I tried to cancel my order and they said I didn't order it more than 4 days prior to the holiday so they wouldn't cancel my order, which they had charged immediately to my credit card. They also add a $21 service fee for delivery that you don't easily see when placing your order. Lastly, when they sent the confirmation email, they DO NOT include a delivery date on the message. I should have researched this company before I placed my order as upon review, they have MANY complaints with the Better Business Bureau.

On Ava's Flowers website it said they were located in, and could deliver in my hometown. The business was NOT located in my hometown. I received a call saying they could deliver the plant to the family's house but they didn't have anyone who could deliver to the funeral home. I insisted that they deliver it to the funeral home, saying that the funeral home was 4 blocks from the family's house, so if they could deliver to the house, they could certainly deliver to the funeral home! After being put on hold for a 15 minutes, they finally said they found someone who could deliver the plant to the funeral home. They charged my $3.99 for the little card but instead of writing what I had written on the order form, they wrote something short and abrupt. They also listed only ONE of the 3 siblings' names on the card! How tough is it? The "Free Delivery" code worked, but there was a $24.95 Service Fee which was not itemized or explained.

I had ordered my girlfriend flowers and a stuffed teddy bear for valentines day (2019). Not only were the flowers not what I ordered, the $20 bear never arrived. Dont worry though, i was definitely still charged for it.
I tried calling them a whopping 8 times and sat through the extremely long answering machine just to get put on hold until the machine asked me to schedule a call back time.
Its no surprise that i never recieved a call back.
So i emailed them and i got a kickback that told me that i can expect a 5 business day wait before someone got back to me.
I understand that it can get busy during the holiday season but thats no excuse for the horrible service and lack of customer support.
Do not order from Avas flowers.
0/5 stars.
Would not ever recommend.

I ordered same day delivery. It was not delivered. Called, they promised to deliver next day. It was not delivered. Called again. Here we are, five days later, and they still have not delivered. Customer service says they will assign to another florist. THEY are not local florists. Cancelling my order today.

Not delivered!

I placed my order 4 day in advanced. Today 9/24/23 was delivery day. I paid $10 to rush them. It said it would be delivered by 2 pm. Well 2 pm came and went. Then when I try to check the status it says delivery by 7pm. I got an email around 6:45pm saying it was delivered. I checked outside my house, all over but there is no delivery. I checked the original email and it has the correct address so I know I put it correctly. Do not recommend this place, I spent close to $150 too.

Flowers were just okay

The flowers did not look like the description. I saw the flowers the day after they had been delivered and they were already droopy. Actually I was very disappointed. I did complain and $15 credit was given to me. But I doubt that I will use this florist again.

*BUYER BEWARE** ordered flowers on Monday was told they would be delivered that day. Call to verify customer service stated flowers already delivered on Monday. Flowers were not delivered on Monday. Called & called on Tuesday was told they would be delivered on Tuesday. Flowers were not delivered. Call today Wednesday 2/9/22. States flowers would be delivered today. Flowers were received but NOT what I ordered. Oh yeah, they refunded me $15.00 for my trouble. Do NOT use this company. Terrible service.

Horrible experience!

Ordered a large luxury boutique and was l delivered a grocery store arrangement! Horrible customer service that has roosters crowing in the background of their call center, refused to send me to a USA designated call center and hung up 7 times when questioned where they were located, when i would return the call they would act like they were having phones issues! Phone worked just fine till I questioned where they were located! First photo was what was expected 2nd photo was what I received, requested a replacement arrangement and never received! Requested refund and am still "awaiting" a return phone call! Absolute total fraud!

I ordered flowers for my friend who was retiring. The order went through and the flowers did not arrive. They did not call back, and when I finally got hold of someone they wanted more time to contact the driver, and still no call back. I called a third time and was on hold forever. They make it very difficult to get through to anyone. They promised me they would resend the order but could not tell me whether or not it would be delivered today or tomorrow. This has completely spoiled any surprise and I am still waiting. Based on this experience I would avoid Ava's like the plague and never use them again.

Terrible company. Best friend passed away & Avas Flowers did worthless service.
Delivered over a day late Gave them a message to be sent with plant and it was never enclosed. People that received the plant had to call the sender (Avas) to find out who sent plant since no name was attached. Avas read the message back to me & it was never enclosed. They use Fed Ex for delivery, whicjh was 1 1/2 days late. Absolute worthless company. Total rip-off.

These people don't have any flowers. They charge double and don't deliver any flowers at all. And when you try to find what happened to your order it's an endless loop of voicemails that end your call. Don't use this company.

Flowers ordered on 2/05/2020 for Valentine's Day were never delivered. When I tried to call customer support I was hung up repeatedly. When I tried to talk to sales person to help was hung up on. Now they won't even answer my call. Had to call bank to reverse charges

Devastated! We ordered an EXPENSIVE Casket Spray and it was never delivered!
Can you imagine on the day of the funeral of your loved one and the flowers not being there? This is what happened to my family. I have been On line with the Customer service call for a long time no resolution. The first clerk said it would be taken care of and it NEVER was. Grief on top of frustration and not getting what we paid for on the day of the service. Flowers are expensive and to pay for them and NOT have them when you need them is not right. We feel cheated, hoodwinked and taken advantage of. Do not use www.avasflowers.com for any major special occasion You will be disappointed. Imagine the morning of the funeral and no flowers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

We got a lovely thank you note for the flowers we sent. We must trust that you deliver what you advertise.
It would be great that when the flowers are delivered that you take a picture. This way we know exactly what we sent. :)

Wrong Flowers

I ordered the flowers on mother's day as the entire site said "Same Day Delivery" and I selected the timing for the delivery. Unfortunately, the flowers were not delivered on mother's day and the flowers they delivered were nothing like the ones i ordered. Completely wrong case and everything even though I paid extra for it,

I spent $95.00 on flowers, a balloon and card to be delivered Monday, April 27. The flowers arrived but no balloon or card (the card is standard... the balloon I paid extra for which never got delivered). I called the same day to complain, however phone lines so busy the automated phone system said I would receive a call back same day between 5-5:30pm... it's now 11pm and I'm still waiting for that call... I'll never order from them again. Don't recommend.

The absolute worst company. I ordered my flowers and scheduled them to be set to my mother the day I ordered them and I called customer service as soon as I ordered it to make sure that it was coming the same day and they said it was. I called my mother at 3 to see if she got them and she didn't. I called customer service again and they told me I scheduled it for two days later. I screenshoted my original receipt and when I had looked on the website they changed it. When I had called to cancel they told me I can't. Never will I do business with them after this.

Nothing like what I ordered

The bouquet didn't look anything like what I ordered. I understand the need to substitute different flowers but I paid for a large colorful arrangement and what was delivered was a small bland bouquet. The first picture was what was ordered, second is what was delivered
