The site is very deceiving as to what products are delivered. Seems they will purchase from local grocery and delivery as it is their product. What was order is with the basket. What was delivered is the pot. The card is almost bigger than the plant. They survive on people's embarrassment and pride. Certainly not worth the price or surcharges. Use anything else.
I wanted to have a plant delivered to an acquaintance because her mom passed. I picked a (somewhat over priced) peace lily and was glad to see a "special" code that waived the delivery fee. When I looked at the invoice for the delivery, there was a $24.95 "service fee" that I don't remember seeing listed or mentioned when I booked the delivery. I will NOT use this service again, $83 for a medium sized plant is not worth any kind of convenience that delivery provided!
Great delivery, thanks! They loved the flowers and it was a good price too. Great to see smiles on their faces when they received them. Will definitely buy from here again!
We were both embarrassed and horrified at the lavender sympathy spray that was sent in our names for our deceased relative in the funeral home. What was supposed to be a medium size spray, contained 9 roses, 7 of them drooping and dying and chrysanthemums that had petals crushed and falling on the floor. I left a message for a supervisor to contact me but have not received any response. I paid $183.47 total for this gross spray. The order number is #*******. Janet J.
Beautiful flowers, prompt caring delivery to an invalid, Really boosted her spirits. Out of state internet order.
Fast delivery beautiful flowers.
But I didnt know there was a delivery fee so it was slightly more than I expected.
I ordered flowers for my sister in law in Dania Beach Florida. It was her birthday and I wanted to surprise her. After thinking my order was going to be around $59.99, with the supposedly free shipping, my order came up to $95.00. On top of that I requested delivery for 5:00 PM. They stated they could do 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM. I agreed, since I really wanted this delivery, and I really don't know Florist in Dania Beach. I went with some reviews. I should've look more. To make store short, they delivered around 7:30 PM. I should get a refund for at least half of what I paid. They don't comply with what they pretend to do. Everything was nice and convincing, until they got my money, and all they could say is: I'm sorry. I hope they care at least a but of their reputation, and refund me.
Placed an order for delivery, with a rush. 24 hours later, when the order should have already been delivered, received an email that there was an issue. I called and got passed around to three different people, who all had my order info, but asked the same questions over and over. Eventually I got left on hold, and then hung up on. Called back, now I'm irate. They tried to say their delivery people could now not deliver. DO NOT ORDER from Ava's Flowers, not reputable. Still on hold, ok'ed a different arrangement and still they are playing the game. Can't do less than one star, that's a problem.
Far from satisfactory online floral business. They have photos of bouquets on their website that not only do not exist, but the florists they work with did not even try to replicate the original. Too few stems were in the delivered bouquet; it looked like my child could have arranged it. There was NO greenery or extra foliage added to make the bouquet look full! We were embarrassed when we received the photo from our friends of what they actually received. The only positive was that the reps on the phone were always kind and gave a partial discount when we we expressed our shock and dissatisfaction. Please see below for photos of the website bouquet - and then what was actually delivered. We will never use this site again.
3-8-23 My husband sent me flowers for the first time at work. ( he gives me flowers all the time at home)
At 7:20 PM last night, I get a text from an uneducated, low-income "delivery driver" that says, Hi, I am deliver flower, i just lost like 20 minutes, I sorry cause don't deliver before 7PM!? But I will deliver on 7 minutes more.? ( this is actual text). I responded by, Please go down and pick the flowers up, do NOT leave them outside the building as no one is there till tomorrow morning. He responds back, it can't be possible if you close at 5pm This order said deliver before 7pm ( FIRST OFF, THAT'S NOT TRUE, AS MY HUSBAND KNOWS I LEAVE ABOUT 3PM) 2ND, HE DIDN'T TELL ANYONE THE TIME. JUST THAT HIS WIFE LEAVES BY 3. ( so, this "delivery person" lied! I then said, WOW, how unprofessional of you, what would you do, if it was your wife, or employee? Please go pick up the flowers, don't let them sit outside all night! Take pride in what you do. HE then said, "Are you Asian?" wow wow wow, NOW we're saying racists remarks? GOOD ONE AVAS FLOWERS! YOU HIRE SPECTACULAR EMPLOYEES... GOOD JOB. After that, I had to block him. THAT PERSONS NAME IS "LE VAN"
I get a call today 3-9-23 at 8:45 AM on my way to work... very patronising... oh how sorry they are yadda yadda yadda, we'll have these flowers sent right out to you. And you WILL RECIEVE them BEFORE 3PM, huh... it's now 3:15 pm,... I'm getting ready to head home.NO FLOWERS... I'm telling you, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY MAY MAKE GORGEOUS ARRANGEMENTS, BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WAY BELOW PAR!
I ordered flowers on-line for a friend who was in a bad car wreck in Moreno Valley, CA. They were supposed to be delivered that day. However, I got a text the following day telling me there was a problem, and I should call. I was told the arrangement I ordered was not available, and would need to be replaced with another. "That's OK", I said, half-heartedly, but also said I wanted to see what the arrangement looked like prior to delivery. Of course, this did not happen, and the flowers weren't even delivered until 2 days later. I was sent another text to call the florist. There was never a connection to a live person, and no return call. The arrangement that did show up to the hospital room was not even close to the value of what I had paid for with the previous arrangement. So unfortunate. Makes me realize what this company is really about. Won't order from them again.
I used to be able to ice skate, but I can't now so I don't tell people I can. When a business says they can deliver same day flowers and can't. What is that?!? I HAD to call back twice to provide information they did not ask for on the site only to STILL have the flowers not delivered. Oh, did I mention these were sympathy flowers…because these classless people asked for my friends information to apologize for their incompetence …ON THE WORST DAY OF THEIR LIVES. I've never heard of something so tacky. Shame, shame, shame on this company. We want to help small businesses and then come across this garbage. Shame on me for not doing better research. PLEASE learn from my haste.
I'm seriously disappointed in this company, my friend placed an online order for a Valentine's Day delivery.
I never received my arrangement, not even a call regarding the delivery until 2 days later. Don't let prices determine which vendor you select, there are too many florists in the Greensboro area to be disappointed by an overwhelmed company who does not take Customer Service seriously. Keep looking!
First of all, Ava's came up when I searched for a local florist. I didn't realize that they were based out of Delaware and they farmed out their florist jobs to someone else. Or maybe they actually do it in Delaware and then deliver it by FedEx. I don't know but not only was the bouquet delivered later than I needed it to, the final product was terrible! I upgraded to a bigger bouquet so it matched the fullness of the bouquet in the picture. It came smaller than the basic option that I upgraded from. The rose's outer petals were already turning brown. Check pictures for cisual.) When I called their customer service to see what happened with the delivery, they first told me it had been delivered at 10:42. It wasn't even 10:00. She said well they've either been delivered, or they will be delivered, by noon. I asked if that meant you can't tell me if they've been delivered and she said it's not how it works- our deliverer tells us after he's delivered everything when it was delivered. I asked for a tracking number because they say they ship with FedEx so everything should have a number. She couldn't give that to me either. She promised me they would be delivered by noon the day after they were supposed to, and they were not delivered till after 3:00 p.m. it takes forever to get the customer service rep on the phone, and now when I'm ready to write a review it's a really hard to find a place to put one. Ava's flowers also advertised free shipping on their website. I put the code in, they told me it went through, and then after I had submitted the order, the coupon was not applied. This place is garbage. Save your money and call a local florist!
My kids sent me a birthday bouquet but it contained maybe 1/4 of the flower volume it showed in the photo on their website. Shame on them! If I could give them a 0 rating, I would.
It was supposed to arrive with guaranteed delivery day prior. I think I even paid for expedited delivery. The flowers were not super impressive either for the expense of 150 dollars. Feel I could have bought similar flowers at grocery story for fraction of cost.
I'M SO UPSET,,MY 6 YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER RECEIVET 3 LITTLE ROSES AND BABYSBREATH, INSTEAD OF A BASKET OF FLOWERS WITH A STUFFED ANIMAL AND A BALLOON.AND I HAD TO ARGUE WITH THEM TO GET IT DELIVERED.I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN
I was both pleased and displeased with my order. The flowers were beautiful and tastefully displayed. I was displeased with the very high delivery charge.
Please do not use this florist. A family friend recommended this florist because she heard they were good but she personally never used them. I placed an order for a sympathy arrangment to be delivered to the church - never got delivered. The mornin of my sister's funeral apparently they were blowing up my phone because they needed the address to the churchwhich I had already provided and they were all set. I was getting ready for my sister's funeral and distraught and they are trying to call me.
Anyway I demanded a refund which at first they were giving me a hard time. They wanted to still ship the flowers after the funeral was done- like the next day. BTW you speak to people from India so it was even more frustrating. They eventually gave me my refund back. This company sucks and the fact that my beautiful sister who passed away didn't even get sent flowers from me. This company shouldn't even be in business if they can't even deliver flowers to a church.
Customer service has had me transferred lines 5 times in the past hour. Telling me they are transferring me to "my local florist designer to deal with my order" the next line picks up and says "Avas flowers how can I help you today?" They do the same thing. Tell me they need to gather my info. Put me on hold for 10 minutes and continue keeping me on hold instead of canceling my order. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE! I did on accident and am still currently on hold to cancel a $200 order.
Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
Answer: Phone tree hell. Very lengthy messages that you have to listen to in order to get the prompts.
