Unauthorize withdrawl from my bank account $ 680.35, i can prove this through my bank, Varo bank, i have never made any kind of purchase with them
I bought a laptop, which happened to be stolen, Back market initially took no blame in this explaining that they were only a "platform" of which sellers can use to sell electronics. Stolen electronics! A message popped up on my screen it was theft protection informing me that they knew my location. I had to turn it over to the police. I was furious! I just recieved that laptop I thought would be fine. So without a laptop I was out of work and explained this to them. I told them that I want a refund or a working laptop that I could use for work comparable to the one I just bought. They took their time finding me one, I asked them to please make sure it was in working condition before they sent it. Meanwhile I'm still out of work and lost my place to live. Finally they sent me a laptop exactly like the one I had bought, but Alas, it wouldn't stay connected to the internet! So I was unable to use that laptop! Meanwhile I found one locally and asked if they would just refund me after I gave them confirmation that I sent the laptop back. They were real rude and mater of factly stated they tried their best to make it up (ya by sending me another laptop that I couldn't use) and I would have to wait for the laptop to reach them and go through the refund process. Unwilling to help me anymore this whole ordeal took 2 1/2 months to rectify and for me to just end up with my money back. But that 2 1/2 months out of work I lost my home,, almost my job, and made my living situation really hard without a laptop that I thought I purchased that would be fine to work on. They didnt want to accept any fault saying they were just a "platform" and refused to give me instructions on how to leave a review on their website. They knew I would tell the truth about how they would do buisness! Do not buy from them! They will take no responsibility and the item may be stolen! Like mine was!
Top spec 2015 MacBook Pro arrived in close to mint condition, battery above 80% health…exceeded expectations!
So happy with the customer service and the and the two iPhone 8 They came before Christmas and I ordered them last minute
This is my second order from back market. The first order had a shipping issue that was resolved, but not resolved well. Paid for overnight shipping as my phone was dead and reseller messed up and sent 2 day shipping which was on a Thursday so I didn't receive the phone until the following Tuesday. Was refunded the $25 for overnight shipping. Still would've never ordered if I would've known this going in. However, thought I would give them a second try. Ordered a Galaxy watch 5 pro. Item arrived on time, opened it and it was the wrong watch. Contact support, they start the return. Then I'm told I have to wait for the seller to receive the item back and if they have the right item, they will send it to me. Wait! What? So, I buy an item I send you the pictures of what was sent, noticeably the wrong item, and they are refusing to send me the item I bought until the seller gets the other one back? So, I kept messaging, customer service said they would escalate this case to contact the seller and get the correct item sent. Two days later, I call customer service, they are less than friendly. I tell them right away, I have nothing better to do today than hang on the phone with them until they send me my watch. They keep talking about policy, which is nothing but a bunch of words. I paid for an item I didn't get, and they are refusing to send it to me. The conversation only got heated once because the customer service person was being rude and constantly interrupting me. I was given the option of being refunded with an 8% restocking fee, I refused that as I just want the way h. So, they state they have escalated the case, and as I'm telling them that I don't accept this answer they hang up on me. Oh yeah in the hour and a half conversation, I was put on hold 6 times and put on mute twice. So I call back, and had a good conversation with another customer service rep who of course just lied to me. I asked to speak with the escalation team, and the escalation team is unavailable by phone, they can only be emailed, the email can't be given out. This morning I received an email that says the escalation team can't help me. They were just trying to bide their time until my return got to the seller and I'm going to venture that I still won't get the watch. So here I am, 2 day shipping. A week later and I still don't have my device. Needless to say I will be one of thousands who won't buy from back market again.
They won't send you one from another seller. They will refund you and keep 8% of your money. They won't contact the seller to have them send the correct item. They won't do anything for you except hang up on you. Oh, they did send me a 5% off my next purchase. SMH. That was just an insult.
So it pains me to have to put this negative review out but it's absolutely necessary after the experience I just endured. I have purchased multiple electronics from backmarket.com within the last few months and one of them being the galaxy active to HR GPS 44 mm watch. I understand purchasing a refurbished item that the seals are no longer intact and that if it stated brand new it was a water resistant watch that no longer is the case. That being said I live in Southwest Florida where humidity levels have been atrocious and I purchased this watch and received it on the 12th of February and it's already been returned back to the seller within 20 some odd days of owning it. I was at work, as a hostess, and my watch started vibrating and absolutely going bonkers for lack of a better word. The screen started with green changing the watch face to something that was not selected as well as zooming in and zooming out and then after that all happened the watch face no longer was accepting touch screen capabilities. Buttons worked properly the speaker was speaking to me talking to me but the face was not doing what it should have been doing and recognizing my finger touch. I sent it back to the seller who is tech gallery out of Michigan, and they are now tell me there was water oxidation which now voids out any warranty that this watch had. I am still scratching my head trying to figure out how a watch that is never touched water has now water oxidation in it. After calling a local store in the Naples Florida area and inquiring about things that could occur to this watch they're still scratching their heads on how water could have entered this watch to begin with. They believe that the humidity and the sweat could have caused damage to it. The seller now is sending me back my watch it is not in working condition and now it's an overpriced piece of jewelry on my wrist that does nothing but sit on my wrist and not track anything that I needed to do. After going back into backmarket.com I realized I am the only one that put a review out for tech gallery out of Michigan. I wanted to advise others that this company tech gallery in Michigan, is not a reputable company to do business with and I would highly advise staying free and clear of them at every cost. Now I'm out $100 and trying to find out if I purchased another refurbished Galaxy watch if this would occur again. It's extremely disappointing when they give you all these warranties, 30 day 1 year extended warranty options they make you warm and fuzzy inside but then find out that it's voided because of something the seller didn't do properly to the watch from the beginning. So buyers please be highly advised to stay free and clear of this company at all costs. If not you're going to be out money for something that you spent your hard earned money on within a month as well.
I purchased an 'Excellent' condition refurbished MacBook Pro from them - great quality, great price!
The most trustworthy refurbished company on the internet! It's too good! I love this place!
Phone was exactly as advertised and shipped very quickly. I will never spend 1000 at Verizon again.
I was very happy with my purchase from Back Market. Great condition, even better than described!
Perfect condition, looks like new, love it runs great! Will continue to buying more from this site!
I can't help but share my absolute delight with Backmarket, a gem of a refurbished website! This is my second time purchasing from them, and once again, they've exceeded all my expectations. My first purchase was a MacBook Pro, and this time, I decided to go for an iPhone 11. Let me tell you, I'm more than satisfied with their service and their products.
First off, let's talk about their website. It's an absolute breeze to navigate, and finding the product I wanted was effortless. Backmarket's user-friendly interface made the entire shopping process a joy. I appreciate how they provide detailed descriptions and images of their refurbished products, so I knew exactly what to expect before placing my order.
Now, let's dive into the service. From start to finish, Backmarket demonstrated outstanding professionalism. Their customer support team was responsive, friendly, and eager to help with any questions or concerns. The speed at which they handled my inquiries was impressive, ensuring I felt valued as a customer.
The true stars of the show, though, are the refurbished products themselves. Both the MacBook Pro and iPhone 11 were in immaculate condition, as if they were brand new! Backmarket's attention to detail in refurbishing their electronics is commendable. The devices function flawlessly, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of my purchases.
Besides the excellent condition of the products, Backmarket's commitment to sustainability is praiseworthy. By opting for a refurbished device, I feel like I'm making a positive impact on the environment, and that adds to my overall satisfaction with the company.
Furthermore, their pricing is incredibly reasonable, offering great value for money without compromising on quality. It's a win-win situation - I get high-quality electronics at an affordable price, and the planet benefits from a reduced carbon footprint.
Last but not least, their shipping and packaging deserve a shout-out too. Both my MacBook Pro and iPhone 11 arrived promptly and were well-packaged, ensuring they were protected during transit. It's evident that Backmarket takes every step to ensure their customers receive their purchases in pristine condition.
In conclusion, I can't recommend Backmarket enough! Their website is intuitive, the service is top-notch, and their refurbished products are second to none. After two successful purchases, I can confidently say that I'll be a loyal customer for years to come. If you're considering buying a refurbished electronic device, look no further than Backmarket - they've won me over with their outstanding performance!
Not refurbished at all.
Ordered a 'refurbished' Macbook Pro Retina for 419 pounds. I had sent the company a previous email informing them I had to leave the country the day after its arrival for a contract and thus why I needed the Macbook on time. It arrived, seemed fine, went on my trip. Battery wouldn't charge within 48 hours. Cost 161 pounds to replace the battery at Apple. Basically, the Macbook was not refurbished at all but used. Ie. Traded in, wiped, and sent out again. After Apples diagnostic test, the battery had a zero cell count 'dead'. If 'Backmarket' and 'Loop Mobile' its sub contractor had actually run a diagnostic this would have been seen and should be replaced on a 'refurbished' purchase. They would only offer 50 pounds as a gesture, meaning I've paid 530 pounds in total for a 'used' Macbook rather than a refurbished Macbook. Massive difference. Disappointing! Their after service refuses to acknowledge the fact that they have failed to provide a 'refurbished' Macbook that was paid for. Could have bought a used one for 250 pounds and took my chances.
Additional: BackMarket offered a 50 pound gesture. There is no wording in my emails that accepts it. I merely asked where they would like to send it, before I complained as companies like these tend to withdraw the offer if you complain. After receiving the gesture, I then asked for the full refund of the cost to 'fix' the 'used' laptop. Ie. Refund the full 161 pounds to fix the laptop. Yet, Back Market due to a lack of English proficiency, interpreted this as me asking for the entire device to be refunded. What sense would that make after spending 161 pounds on a new battery?
BackMarket have yet to justify sending out 'used' goods instead of 'refurbished'.
BackMarket is yet to justify why Back Market's customer should front the bill of cost of repairs for the laptop just because I'm out of the country due to their negligence. Its either 'refurbished' or it isn't. If Back Market had sent what was ordered or done a simple diagnostic test to ensure all hardware was ok, there wouldn't have been a problem.
BackMarket are yet to justify why BackMarket should continue to profit on the sale even though they have failed the customer and were aware that the customer needed the product for a foreign business trip before it was sent. Using their 30 day refund or exchange policy (I'm out of the country for a long contract so cant use this) as an excuse to not reimburse the customer for fixing the 'used' laptop while completely avoiding the entire point that it is supposed to be a refurbished device in 'Good' condition, which it blatantly is not.
I bought a phone here to replace the one I had that was having motherboard issues. When I got the phone it hadn't fixed the problem so I was working with my network to figure out the issue. Had it for around 12 days when the screen broke. I still don't know what happened as I had set it down and when I returned it was cracked. I guess something fell on it. I tried to see if there was anything that could be done as it was still within the 30 day return window and there was a year warranty. Let me tell you, it was IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of people here. I did the "convo with seller" that they told me to do, which had then been two days since I first sent the request. So I tried to contact the main site to see about how to poke them for a response and not only do they not have an email or phone number, EVERY request tells you to just contact the seller except for "insurance" so I kept sending messages with that as a request. When I explained the entire situation and asked how to get a response from the seller, BlackMarket responded to let me know that the best way to deal with a damaged phone was to contact the seller, and here's how to do that. So very clearly only read the beginning of my situation. There was no way to respond to that message so I sent ANOTHER "insurance" request to say that I knew that that's what I was supposed to do, but they weren't responding. They responded with that to tell me that sometimes it takes a bit to respond and to let them know if it takes more than 24 hours. Now, if they read my first message they would know it's been more than 24 hours. And in both I put my order number so they could have looked it up and SEEN that it was over 24 hours. So I sent an "insurance" request AGAIN because even though I was told to contact them, that's still the only way I can, to tell them that it's been 2 days. They finally told me that a broken screen isn't covered under the Black Market warranty, which I knew. I wanted to know the SELLER's warranty info as they say they have an independent one. I'm still waiting for a response, am without a phone, and have enjoyed absolutely NONE of my time with this site.
I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH MY PURCHASE I LOVE IT. WAS DELIVERD VERY FAST AND CAME IN WITH EVERYTHING ON THE LIST.
I would highly recommend (already have) your service to everyone I know.

Answer: Bought a refurbed iPhone 11 unlocked, as a Christmas gift. It arrived and I had it activated. I had no problem with the phone. I went to Simple Mobil, and got their 25.00 plan. The phone is in great condition, works great, and I am happy with Back Market.
