You heard me. Your ridiculous and unhinged responses to me asking to verify details that I didn't have access had me raising an eyebrow. But your defensiveness? How do you still have a job? I guess biz is that good, eh? Listen people: Gilt. Poshmark. 1stDibs. Go there. The service is better, the merchandise is authentic. And in the event your parcel remains undelivered, you won't have to deal with a two-year-old who is mad at the entire world that their job involves some tact. The rest of your garbage is being returned. You clearly need it more than I do.
Today I received an email per paypal and bluefly that my $68.10 was refunded. Although It took several reviews and continuous calls, complaints and emails. I'm very appreciative that my money was returned. Thank you for posting my review but I stand strongly on the one Star. Bluefly customer service has been the worst experience I've endured as an online customer needing assistance. I'm always online shopping and at times I know people will say they didn't receive a item and did. I'm not one of those people I truly believe in Karma and that saying "What goes around comes around" as well as "honestly is the best policy" I felt bullied with this company but I didn't give up. Stella McCartney sandals bought from Bluefly fell apart after a few wears. Bluefly won't refund or replace.
I'd give zero stars but not an option. They tell half truths yes it is this brand but the much lower end. Buyer beware or better yet, don't buy!
Only use this site is your 100% sure you will not need to return. The restocking fee are outrageous and customer serve is very impersonal.
They do not refund money for returned merchandise. A few times I had to call my credit card company for help. Finally, stopped buying from them.

I just received a very pretty pair of Tod's flats from Bluefly. They look much better in person than on the website. These very pretty flats retail for $500 and I paid $200. For this reason, I am giving Bluefly 5 stars. They are authentic. They arrived as expected and the website was easy to navigate. One caveat... I was expecting free shipping but I'm not going to quibble over $8.
I see all the negative reviews for these kind of websites (Bluefly, Gilt, etc). A few things I learned over the years...
*Do not buy clothing online unless it's from a department store website or it's cheap (under $100). If you buy online at Saks, Bloomingdales, or even Gap you always have the option of returning it in the store. The clothing I've purchased at online discount retailers have been of average quality and I've learned I would rather just go shopping at the mall. At least then I have a chance to see the clothing piece first, the exception being if you already saw this piece in person and now it's discounted (most likely because it was last season).
*Purchase brands you know and have seen in the retail stores.
*Do not buy vintage (aka second) expensive designer brands online. Only buy from trusted local consignment shops. These websites may think it's in "good condition" and you may think otherwise. Plus, there may be issues with authenticity.
*Do not buy expensive designer handbags (over $1,000) at an online discount site. Most of these websites have a no return policy and it's simply not worth the risk. It's better just to "splurge" and buy at the authorize retailer or boutique.
*I believe they may be receiving their inventory or acting as a middle person for an authorized retailer. For whatever reason, these retailers do not want to place these items on their sales floor (item was returned, overstock, last season, etc). Think Nordstrom's Rack or Off 5th, only online and non-returnable. There is a reason these designer items are discounted... you may want to keep that in mind while shopping.
If you know how to shop, sites like Bluefly are great.

This is first time in my life I am writing a review. I wish I knew about sitejabber before I made purchase from bluefly. Same thing happened to me as Fion L. I purchased designer handbag paying around $1700 and when I received it I notice the description was wrong and also had defect.
So i contacted customer service several times and also provide the pictures to proof then wait for there long response. I didn't think it would be a problem cause it was so ovbious the descripition was wrong and had defect.
Finally when i hear from them I could not believe they deny my return cause color looks like goldtone as they describe on the web when it's shiny silver. I wrote them back and ask them if anyone looked at the real bag and can tell me it looks like goldtone but no reponse at all.
I am stuck with $1700 bag which is not the bag I thought I was getting and I can not even resale cause it also has defect.
Bluefly has worst customer service ever and it makes worse cause they are selling expensive item so it's not the amount we can just swallow and forget about it.

Bluefly is better than ever! I played my order it came on time and Dominick in customer service corresponding through email was very much on point!
I had ordered a cosmetics case through bluefly in September, and proceeded through to checkout without login in as a member. Once the site had processed my details, it displayed an error message. At that point I had not received any confirmation of purchase. I had thought, maybe I should create a membership to process the order, and that had worked.
After the purchase had been confirmed, I double checked my paypal, just to check the rates and realised I'd been charged for the initial order I had placed (which I received the error message), I quickly messaged bluefly customer service to try and figure out what had happened and to cancel the initial order.
I received an email back 3 days later saying I cannot cancel an order via email, although it was the fault of the website failure that had caused the issue.
There had been emailing back and forth, with various bluefly customer service team members, not being able to locate the initial order due to different email addresses being used, where they could've simply searched for matching names and addresses, which could've been a simple solution.
Afterward, I shipped the initial order back, and only received a partial refund. I received a completely random amount on the return shipping (clearly they should not be running a business if they can't do simple maths), then also a partial refund on the item and even charged for a $6.95 shipping fee when blatantly it was at the fault of their website.
It has been 2 weeks since their last email of 'We sincerely apologize for the delay in getting back to you. We are further researching the credits to your order so that we may give you a clearer understanding of what you were charged. We will be sending more information to you shortly. We appreciate your patience.'
So, please please please, save yourself the agony of dealing with this so called 'company', save yourself the hassle, they may have great deals, but trust me, it's so not worth it!

I bought 2 items a watch and a purse. I was very excited but was horrified and needless to say mad as hell when they arrived. First off the things they will send you don't look even near to the picture they present in their website, 2nd most items they would not list the dimensions on their website on the item descriptions, so you figured i ordered a watch first when arrived it was clearly a refurbished watch, 2nd it was HUGE, and didnt look at all at what the put in the pic (It was the Aquaswiss G swissport), just HORRIBLE. The purse I ordered didnt have the dimensions either listed when arrived it was a purse made for midgets or toddlers because what thought it was gonna be a real life size purse turned out to be a toy purse. So you imagine my deception after first time buying in this website. When I emailed costumer service they told me I couldn't return the watch (the most expensive item) because it was a final sale! Seriously? So my advice to you if you shop here go on your own risk and be prepared to be disappointed. Thats all I can said. As far as my money they would not have it never again.

Only a particularly awful experience motivates me to leave a bad review about a business.
I will never shop at BlueFly again. I ignored the numerous horrific reviews posted about this business and made a large purchase, almost $2000 worth of clothing, with the intention to return a portion based on fit and look in person.
BlueFly advertises "easy returns." This assertion is deceptive bordering on a complete lie. I tried to return about a third of my purchase within about 30 days of purchase. BlueFly refused the returns saying it was outside of the return window. I looked everywhere on my paper receipts, my emailed receipts and on the website for the return policy and could find no time limit. As it turns out, the actual return date is only indicated (in very small font) on the item description at the time of purchase. And further, the description does not indicate if return limit is based on date of purchase, date of shipment, date of receipt of items, or date of charge to credit card. I was told all of my items had a 14-20 day return limit. I honestly have no way to even confirm this because many of the items aren't listed in their inventory anymore and I never received a receipt documenting return policies (Is this even legal?) One of the items also arrived damaged and still refused for return.
I emailed numerous times with customer service and asked to send pictures, explanations, etc. and was just flat out ignored.
To be fair, the customer service reps who actually talk to customers on the phone are polite. This is a senior administration/company policy issue.
Anyway, long story short - DO NOT spend your money here. I cannot stress enough that this is a company has hidden return policies and the "easy returns" borders on false advertising. You have a very real risk of receiving an item at the very limit of your return limit and then being refused returns, even if the item is damaged.

This is the worst company I've dealt with when it comes to customer service. It's as if they train all their staff to make it as difficult as possible for a customer to return items. I had a huge order sent to me and their representative helped me and checked me out as a "guest" customer. Most items did not work out and it was a huge order, ~ $4,000. I didn't know what to do as the order didn't come up on my account. I had no way to return them because the order didn't even show up in my account. Finally, when I called them, the representative said it was all FINAL sale! I went back to check each and every item and none of them were final sale! They just outright lied to me. I then called back and complained about why they would claim that the items were final sale when they were all still being sold on the site as regular items. They said they would look into it. I didn't hear back for a while and when I called them again, they said that they emailed me labels to return the items but I never got them. I then called again several times and they said that they would look into it only to tell me that the time to return has passed therefore, I cannot return any of the items.
Meanwhile, I see them still selling the same items I am stuck with which I have never worn, still in plastic bags and hangers worth about $4,000.
This company should be investigated by the Federal Trade Commission.
They are downright deceptive to their consumers. I have many friends who have had the same experience with this company and they are never shopping there again.
I strongly advice anyone who is thinking of shopping at Bluefly to heed other people's warnings. Stay away and shop elsewhere!
