I had never heard of Boohoo before when I came across the website. The clothes looked amazing and the prices were fantastic so I opened a new account right away. I spent a lot of time reviewing the clothes and making my wish list. I ended up buying 12 tops for $263 (including $10.99 for shipping). I placed my order on Aug 19th and selected the 6 business day shipping option. On Aug 20th I received an email confirming that my order had been shipped and was due to arrive between Aug 25th & Aug 29th, I live in Toronto Canada. When I tried to use the tracking link I ended up on the shipping site but the number I thought was the tracking number wasn't correct so I started to worry. I decided to Google Boohoo and was immediately horrified by all of the negative reviews and I thought oh crap what have I done I never should have ordered from this website! I was thankful that I ordered using my PayPal account so I could dispute this transaction if necessary. Well to my surprise the order arrived on time yesterday at my in-laws, they have a concierge that signs for all packages so I send most of my deliveries there. I brought the package home today and tried on all 12 tops and everything fit perfect and the quality was much better than I expected after reading all of the reviews. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and I love everything! The one negative is there was no return slip in the package so it's a good thing I don't have to make a return. Would I order from Boohoo again... maybe (the negative reviews really worried me). I would only order though using PayPal if I did.
I have shopped with boohoo from the very beginning with several orders from this business spending thousands of pounds. My experience recently has been one of which which would definitely make me reconsider shopping with this business ever again. I've purchased a pair of wedges which I put aside in the hopes that I would wear them for my holiday in the end I ended up purchasing another pair as I had forgotten that I purchased said pair of shoes. On my return from holiday which was in May I messaged boohoo To say that I would like to return them bearing in mind the shoes are brand-new in the box and unworn. Someone wrote back to me saying their returns policy is 28 days tough luck.
I then wrote back saying hi guys, repeat customer I've shopped with you for several years is there something you can do so I can return the shoes. I was then responded by rude member of the team saying tough luck it's past 28 days please resell them if you are low on cash this is extremely rude and insulting behaviour from a so-called senior member of staff who deals with complaints regularly. If this is the level of service they offer I would definitely not reconsider shopping with them again they do not value customers they value money fast money that's all they care about. I have stood by this company having received faulty items missing items, poor quality items, items which were damaged with Menstrual blood and make up but I have continued to shop with them over the years
I have received much better service from other e-commerce businesses such as ASOS and pretty little thing.
Please really think about spending money with these businesses as they do not care about the customer at all. The manner of the emails were Demeaning insulting and rude and not in the slightest bit empathetic I would expect a response from the CEO in regards to this matter as I will be seeking legal action if not resolved ASAP! By far the worst customer service I have ever received!
I ordered from BooHoo with extreme caution because I ordered an outfit from Fashion Nova 5 days before and I was already having issues with them not shipping at all soooooo I took the risk and ordered from BooHoo... I have to say I am so impressed! BooHoo not only delivered ASAP but they sent me a courtesy email letting me know that they did not have something I ordered in stock and they would process the refund immediately. I received the refund today, and my package came from them 2 days ago. Everything was nice as expected, although I did order a size up just to be safe and the pants I ordered I will gift to someone - but I have no disappointments with this site whatsoever. Meanwhile, Fashion Nova took 8 days to even ship my stuff (11 to get to me)and the most expensive item was missing ($70) and it took for ME to reach out and let them know about it before they claimed that they will issue me a credit (which I still haven't received yet) I will order from BOOHOO again any day over FN.
The outfit had strings hanging from the dress it's literally so thin. I wouldn't recommend to anyone first time and I will say never again.

Let me start by saying anyone is quick to post when they have a negative experience and ANY company can have a bad day. But I have a 17 year old son whom is extremely picky and fashion conscious. As we embarked on school shopping for his senior year we agreed online shopping was the best choice for my budget and his since of fashion. Stumbled on Boohoo.com and he liked almost everything I had put in the cart. (My first surprise) We place an order of $160 (sale & coupons) that gave him 3 pair of jeans, 2 joggers, 2 jackets, and 6 shirts. (Unbelievable... my second surprise). I chose free standard shipping and we both were pleased. (Really surprised) Then I decided to surf the web for reviews, mind you after I had just placed my order. I was frightened to see the negative reviews. I was nervous I had just wasted money and delayed my son's school wardrobe, which would have been the biggest catastrophe of it all. I nervously waited for my email tracking which some said didn't work. Not one problem. I got an email that night confirming my order, an email the next day saying it had been shipped, an email the third day with a tracking number and an email a day before our package arrived saying it won't be long now. We anxiously open our package, I fearing the worst based on reviews I had seen about quality, my son just in excitement to see his fashion statements in person. Let me tell you BOOHOO.COM DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Everything was well made, true to size and I had a 17 yr old son giving me a fashion show! All I can say is THANK YOU BOOHOO.COM! Excellent customer service, speedy shipment (free shipping and package received within 7 days), Trendy AFFORDABLE FASHION! We'll definitely be back! Already planning on ordering another pair of joggers.
This company will mess up your sizes and then when you return an item they say they never received it so you are now left with no product and no money. FRAUD OF A COMPANY!
I received my package late and that's understandable due to the pandemic but EVERYTHING was to big I'm a small or x-small and everything fit like a large I will never order from them again
I've been ordering from boohoo for three years now and not once have I had a problem, until now. If I could give this company a lower rating I would. I ordered on April 11 and it said my package would be delivered April 18, I got the confirmation and everything that it was dispatched. Well on April 15 my package basically fell off the grid in New Jersey. I e-mailed them because unlike literally every other retailer in the world, they don't have a phone number. Fast forward a month, 35 E-MAILS LATER, and a very serious threat of reporting them for fraud and they magically came up with a solution when I called them out for lying about contacting the courier about my package (one said it was DHL and the other said it was USPS). I wanted a reissue on the merchandise I ordered because I still wanted it, but nope all I got was a confirmation refund e-mail for not even half of the money I spent. I had to call them out AGAIN for the full amount and I didn't receive a response, just another confirmation for the remaining amount. They're a bunch of scam artists who think you'll just go away and let them keep your money if they give you the go around for long enough. They're honestly disgusting. I will never spend another penny at this unethical and immoral company, nor will any of my family or friends.
P.S. Their customer service department and how they operate is simply atrocious, if you're just going to respond "I'm so sorry about this or I'm sorry you feel that way" 35 times, why bother responding at all? They're obviously trying to fake compassion but all it was was annoying and condescending and really pissed me off by the end of the whole ordeal.
