Why hasn't my order of Feb 14 been sent out? I spoke with 3 'customer service' reps since order and asked why I haven't received an email with Tracking #. Got the runaround big time! All 3 said they would send me an email with order confirmation; that didn't happen! Two said its been sent, I asked for tracking # and, "Louis" couldn't give it to me. Finally talked with CS rep, "Kelly" and told her the other 2 LIED to me regarding everything about the order, because I looked on BP's website and my order of Feb 14 was *OPEN*, which means NOTHING was done with my order. Thanks to Kelly for admitting that order wasn't sent nor scheduled to be sent; said she would make sure do that. I'm dubious! She also said she would send me an email. Never got that. **If this isn't resolved by Monday, February 20, I am never ever going to shop at Boston Proper, nor will I EVER recommend it to anyone! Your customer service used to be acceptable; it's NOT NOW! Quality is becoming questionable too, by the way.
E. My first purchase with this company and definite my last. I bought a dress and it was mark as final sale. I received the dress and on the back of the dress had a defect. Also I order size 10 because on the reviews on this dress the customer said it run small. My size is an 8 and I am a true 8. So the dress had a defect and it was small. I called the customer service line and talked to a rep. Explained the situation and I was so surprise of her answer. I couldn't believe her answer. She told me I couldn't return the dress because it was a final sale. I asked for another dress in a lager size she said it wasn't available only another 10. I told her 10 was too small if she can give me a refund or a store credit. She told me no Its a final sale no credit or refund. I asked for a supervisor and she replied to me the same way. So if you buy something in a final sale status you will not receive either a refund or credit even if the doesn't fit you or the item is damage. Sad the way this store handles their customer. I think this company soon will not have customer. Make sure you read all the hidden rules!
... although I have bought a few swim suits there, generally their fabric is of a poor quality and the items are overpriced.
Awful customer service. They basically charge you to try on clothes. Never again.
Poor quality clothing. Lint magnet. Not high end clothing. Cheap.
I used to order a lot from Boston proper but will not order any more. The clothes are WAY overpriced for the quality you get. I orders a long sleeve shirt for $89 and I wore it to work, at the middle of a day I was told " you have a hole in your shirt". I was soooo embarrased as I discovered a huge hole on my shoulder, the stitches were very weak and the shirt just cracked, it was a loose fitting shirt so I do not understand what could cause it to tear. For the same money I could get a way better shirt in Macy's.
But that was not it I ordered another shirt for over $100 and it had nice sparkles ( faux diamonds) and they started to come off in a couple of hours wearing it, the sparkles were just falling off of me and all that said is a stain of glue on the place where the sparkles were.
The last thing I want to say I ordered pants from there. I wear size 10 which is M on there chart, guess what... I could not wear them at all as they were Sooooooo big that I was loosing them walking, I got them exchanged for XS and they fit perfectly, can't say about quality of them as I have not wore it yet, I hesitate to wear them to work because I do not want to end up with a hole on my butt at the middle of a day
I purchased an. Outfit
Not a week later after delivery they put it on 20% off and would not credit me the difference.
Every store in the world does that.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM
NOT REPUTABLE.
I have shopped with BP for years, but no more horrible customer service and the clothes are not as nice as they were in the past
Boston Proper did not put my name or street address on the merchandise I ordered. Yet, I was getting text and email updates from them saying the merchandise was out for delivery. I also was getting text and emails from USPS saying that my item was being delivered. The merchandise was never delivered. I also continued to receive all the text and emails showing it had been sent back to Boston Proper and delivered to them. All I asked was that they resend the merchandise. I wasn't upset at this point because mistakes and accidents happen. They would not send another dress. They told me I would have to rebuy one. The problem was that the dress was now more expensive. They told me that I would still have to buy the dress at the more expensive price, and they would credit the difference. They also told me I would have to pay postage to have a new dress sent. That is where the problem has started now. The customer service to get this resolved is terrible. I've been on hold; they have promised to let me speak to a manager. But a manager never picks up. I'm going to report this to my bank and file a dispute for my bank to handle. I've never gotten a refund or had the merchandise replaced.
Don't waist your money. My order was a finial sale. This information was not given until I wanted to start my return.
12/20/21 The quality of the dress was horrible. I will never another purchase from boston proper. Should have checked the reviews before purchasing.
I ordered from Boston Proper and had to return most of my order with a cost of 880$, I followed the email return policy they emailed me, saying I would be refunded 7-10 business days. On the 10th day they said they had my return but I would have to wait Another 5-7 business days for my refund WHEN There return label email states refund when they got returns. I call them and get the run around and can barely hear or understand the person on the phone. They say they will honor the email refund and then turn around and tell me to wait another 5-7 business dsys to get my 600$ refund. Complete FRAUD. I am calling Sheryl Clarke, owner of Boston Proper. Corrupt business dealings. NEVER in my life will I order for this fraud company who doesn't even have customer service people who can speak clearly on phone.
Also reportin to BBB. Holding my money when they have their clothing already return and in the possession, Beware of the fraud and lies.
I work for my money and they are holding onto it as long as they can …..

Boston Popper does not offer free shipping or returns The clothes you get are often not the way they appear in pictures Customer service is horrible
Cherye, it's true - we don't offer free shipping or returns. Shipping (either way) is expensive and we are a small brand. We offer free shipping during select times only, but we offer free exchanges all the time. I apologize if you had a bad experience with our customer service team. If you'd like to provide me with more information, I'd like to try to make it up to you. Thx.
Waisted my money on poor quality clothes. Moreover, they did not accept my return! Horrible company!
I have shopped Boston Proper for many years. A bit pricey in my opinion, but the unique and chic style of their clothes, accompanied by the first class look, fine workmanshipand not to mention sizes in extra extra smallwere all well worth the price. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse within the past 18+ months. The style of clothes that are shown and offered through their catalog are obviously of another planet! CLEARLY NOT THE SAME FROM WHAT THEY USED TO BE! I still remember the day when I received my catalog in the mail and sprinted into my house, from the mailbox, with extreme excitement & anticipation of ordering more confident boosting, unique and stunning outfits. Within just a few pages into my prized catalog my high spirits immediately plummeted into the depths of Hades. With the pages staring back at me, my heart sankas I could see and feel the writing on the walls... my favorite online catalog obviously got themselves a new buyer and/or completely changed their style. My day was ruined. I thought to myself, "No, this simply cannot be true!", and waited for another catalog to appear in my mailbox (knowing all the while, that the sweet ride was indeed over... never to return again). Much to my dismay, I was 100% correct. Just another company that took a good thingI mean OUTSTANDINGand tossed it to the curb. Ironically, that is now where my Boston Proper catalogs immediately end up... straight from the mailbox into the curbside recycling bin. What a calamity!
Spend 2500 a year at this company and they changed the return policy. Never had a problem before. Don't spend the money

Return policy and price adjustments horrible. The representatives won't even allow the stated online policy. This store is the worst!
Boston Proper is a portal to Spam Hell…do not give them your email address! Bought some things from BP for Christmas gifts and now I am drowning in perpectual emails I do not want. A straight male with has no need for women's clothing! So just unsubscribe right? Wrong. Their unsubscribe button doesn't unsubscribe anything…it takes you to a shopping page. So just click right-click Junk on their email and select BLOCK SENDER right? Wrong…they use a different email address in their relentless spamming. So just call me and tell em to remove you right? Wrong…their employees are even more useless than their spam.
Learn from my mistake…NEVER REGISTER ON BOSTON PROPER'S WEBSITE! I'm certain they sold my email address to others too because the number of incoming messages soliciting women's products has skyrocketed since the holidays. Nobody should have this problem and it is clear this company should be renamed Boston Improper. They set the customer care bar so low you need a shovel to see it. Everyday I get mail from them…every GDFN day! I now HATE BOSTON PROPER.
This was my favorite store but I've been disappointed on their quality lately, they definitely changed
I have shopped off and on on Bostonproper.com for a few years now. They have a very unique selection of fashion. The general feel when you look at the catalogue, with their more mature models, is that it is for 'stepford wives' or 'Beverly Hills housewives', we are talking a lot of exotic prints, inappropriate amount of cleavage, tight-fitting tops etc. It is definitely for 'ladies who lunch', because you would be hard pressed to find anything that is office appropriate in there. A lot of the styles would not look out of place on a 20 year old going clubbing, but would look a bit strange on a 40 year old, like they are trying too hard to look young. Unfortunately, with their pricing and models, I think that is the age group they are targeting.
That said, for a younger clientale, they sometimes have really cute outfits and stylish clothes and their quality and cutting are generally good. The clothes are well made and don't fall apart after a few washes. Once in a while there are inconsistencies in the sizing, but overall they fit fabulously.
They are however more pricey than the regular clothing shops and they seldom have sales and also their shipping charges are extortionate, they start off at $6.95 for purchases up to $25, which is ridiculous, because if you look at how much they charge for their clothes, nobody's shopping cart will be in that category. So if you buy just a couple of stuff, your shipping charges can very easily reach $17-18, which is outrageous given how light the clothes usually are. And if you need to return the items, that is another $7 taken out of your account! With the premium they charge on their clothes, I think it is really outrageous to gouge you on the shipping as well! And that is just for standard ground shipping. My clothes usually take up to 2 weeks to arrive.
Overall I do like a lot of their designs, but would only buy during sales or if something just it a 'must have' for a special occasion, guess I am not in the income level of their targeted clientale haha.
