They have a ridiculous policy that they do not accept FINAL SALE items for return. I purchased items priced at ~500.00 and didn't like any of the items but can't return them... DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY THAT DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO RETURN ITEMS... IT SHOULD NOT MATTER IF THEY ARE FINAL SALE OR NOT. A CUSTOMER SHOULD BE ABLE TO RETURN ANY ITEM THEY DO NOT LIKE.
I would give this company 0 stars if I could. Ordered almost $900 worth of clothes and they were all too small. Returned and they gave me credit certificates for future orders.Now I'm wanting to use the credits and customer service says they have no record of the credits. I have the printed certificates in my hand with the original order numbers. I was told at the time that the credits never expire and no expiration date is printed on them. Customer service in the Phillipines tells me a supervisor cannot be reached at this time (I've called 14 times) but they "assure me that someone will call me back and this will be resolved within 48 hours." Crickets. I asked them "don't you want to know the GC numbers?" Them: "Oh yeah, okay." No way tò contact the corporate office. Went on their website to look at my account and my email and password are not recognized. Says they have no record of my email yet I get several a day from them (" based on your past purchases I think you will like these") I'm thinking about suing the company.
Customer service is located in India. You have to talk about THEIR mistake maybe 8 times, and wait on hold for 3 hours. I believe they go out to lunch or watch a TV show while I'm on hold. They get back to you and say "your issue is escalated" that means NOTHING.
I placed an order. It never came. They claimed my card was flagged for fraud but they couldnt email me, or call me to tell me that a problem ocurred. PS. My card was fine. They told me that they would refund my shipping charge. NO KIDDING!? It never shipped. Ok, then they promised over night shipping again, A day passed, and i received an email that standard shipping with get my items here in 5 days. My event was 3 days ago! I demanded for a "enscalated supervisor " to call me. Never happened. BUT they are so sorry and offered me a $20 coupon for future order. I will NEVER order from them again and I'll make it my part time job to slam them all over social media because I would hate for others to lose their money like me. I loved one pair of jeans from them... i have a sweater that all the little accents fell off on the first day I wore it. HATE BP!
Nice clothes yet over priced. I love online shopping and I will spend money at other stores first, before I pay for your over priced clothing! Hopefully others will do the same..

I ordered 3 pieces in September, which arrived in a timely manner. However, they were too big. (I haven't ordered from BP in several years, so maybe they've changed manufacturers, but sizing didn't use to be a problem). So I went to bostonproper.com/returns, as was indicated. I completed the exchange info, and was sent to a site with a QR code...all fine. Then, a few hours later, I received an email from BP that I hadn't completed the checkout process. I clicked on the link and it took me to a shopping cart that showed the 3 items in the new size, with discounted prices and a note beneath each price saying something like "exchange". And then I had to pay... which I foolishly did, thinking this new return/ exchange process was so they could ship out the new clothes immediately, then credit my card once they had the return items in hand. Plus they charged 9.95 for shipping this 2nd order (because the discounted prices were JUST low enough to bring the total beneath the free shipping limit). A day later, I called customer service and was told that yes, they were two different orders, and they'd be sending both. I explained that it was their email that implied I still had to order and she looked into it and called me the next day to say the higher- ups refused to change the still-in- transit return-for- exchange to just a return. So I got both packages, no need for two of the same... so returned 3 items, explaining the story and that I absolutely should NOT be charged the 4.95 return fee. I know it seems like a small detail.but seriously, they already charged me 9.95 shipping for something I didn't have to order in the first place. Guess what? Once the return went thru... they charged me the 4.95 return fee. I am done with Boston Proper and their sneaky, fraudulent ways. Ugh!
Words cannot express how angry I am with Boston Proper. I placed an order on September 22,2018, well knowing that part of my order would be delayed. I received the first half of the order and was disappointed with the fit and quality of the merchandise. I returned the items the same day. I checked my PayPal account and I have not been credited for the returned items. I contacted customer service. They have no record of my order number, my email address, my name and my phone number. The order number I gave is under a different name and different items. The customer service representative offered no assistance other than to tell me that I need to dispute this with PayPal. Now the fun begins. It took PayPal over and hour and a half to return my call. I now have to provide documentation and wait a considerable amount of time for this to be resolved. Really? Where is the disconnect. The information I have from the order was given to me by Boston Proper. I will never do business with them again and if you are reading this review I suggest save yourself a lot of aggravation. Unless of course you have a lot of time on your hands.

Terrible return policy! The items took forever to be delivered! The discounts were very misleading. The quality of clothing is not that great either. I would not reccomend it to my enemy!
Placed an order on 9/30 and still have not received it. I see that the package was shipped but no additional information. Called customer service a handful of times as well as detailed emails to customer service, finally requesting a FULL refund ($567.00) which was already paid for the month prior (Amex card) was told (3x) that the refund would be escalated and would receive a email confirmation and a full refund within 3 to 5 business days. Two months since initial order was placed - No package, ZERO communication from BP and NO refund. Reporting them to BBB and requesting that Amex goes after them for the money! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!
I ordered online from Boston Proper. It has processed and I received the low quality merchandise. That is not the problem. I have unsubscribed from email, have emailed customer service to have my email removed and have spoken to a representative NUMEROUS TIMES. I receive 2 emails a day from Boston Proper. I feel harassed. I will never order from them again. DO NOT GIVE TH YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS.
I have reached out to Boston Proper three (3) times regarding a broken pair of pearl earrings. No one has ever followed up. Terrible customer service.
The clothes are badly made, the seams are not always straight and they really don't fit. The material is coarse and in general just stay away.
The worst part? You HAVE TO PAY FOR RETURN AND A RESTOCKING FEE AND THEY DO NOT EVEN REFUND THE ENTIRE TAX.
I just spoke with their customer service, maybe in Scotland when I called to make inquiries about the shortfall in the return credit and that is what I was told.

I purchased a sweater from a catalog that was sent to and I received the item, but when I received it there was a price tag on the sweater and it said 27.50 and I paid twice the amount which was 69.75, so I made a phone call to them and all they could say was that they dont know how the price tag got on the item and that couldnt fix it, what a way to RIP OFF YOUR CUSTOMER so I give you no rateing and I would never shop with this company again and anyone reading this should really consider it also, the bar code matched identical to the receipt! PATHETIC, SORRY, BJ
I was a customer for many years but never again. I returned some items totaling over $200 for exchanges and some return. Never heard back from them. I have called and now their number is disconnected

I GOT A JACKET WHICH SUPPOSED TO HAVE FUR ON SLEEVES, THE ONE I GOT DIDN'T HAVE FUR ON SLEEVES. AFTER I COMPLAINED AND RETURNED IT THEY PROMISED PERSONALLY TO MAKE SURE THERE IS A FUR ON SLEEVES AND HAVE SENT ANOTHER ONE JUST THE SAME - NO FUR AGAIN. THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND THEIR QUAITY AND DON'T CARE FOR CUSTOMERS. CANCELING THIS ORDER.

Sorry to disappoint Cindy. Our styles sell out very quickly. If you place an order for an item, the website tells you "expected to ship" on a select day. That can't always happen due to unforeseen issues or it also depends on what number on the backorder list you are. If you want to order an item in the future, the sooner you order to when the catalog goes live the better. Otherwise, you risk not getting it for a while because we only buy small quantities.
