I purchased a circuit board for my camera through their website. The shipping took a little longer than I had hoped for but since I am not in the US, I know Thr shipping delay might not have been their fault. When I received the part it was very easy for me to install. My camera turned on once again and been for nicely ever since. The only concern was the shipping time which was more than two weeks. They did send it priority us mail service but it wasn't fast or priority as I would have expected and liked. I would buy from them again though. I would also recommend them, especially to customer in the united states.
They did a repair on our SX10. They were excellent, the camera is working like new. We recommend to everyone for repairs.
They send the part we order fast. It is a battery door and it is easy for us to install it. I recommend this site they give good service to me.
My batter door broke on my canon sd750. I found this place had the part available so I ordered it. Come to find out it was out of stock after I ordered it. They called me and the lady said they had them coming in that week and that they would upgrade my shipping free to priority. It ended up taking them 7 business days to get more in stock. It did ship with the faster free shipping upgrade. So all in all it took a few extra days to get it but the shipping upgrade was nice. I installed the battery door right away and the camera is working. It all worked out and I'm satisfied since my camera is working again.
We just had a camera repaired through them.
Great service!
I ordered the battery holder door part (I think that's what is called). It came quick but it was not as easy to install as I thought. My son was able to put it on for me and it's working now.
I had a Canon repaired through them. They seemed to have done an excellent repair, I haven't any concerns at all. What I liked is they do the service on the camera along with the repair. Even more so, they give the camera a great cleaning. My camera is a Canon SD1100. I am very satisfied. Thank you
I ordered the dc dc power board from this site to repair my Canon G9. The part arrived fast and it was well packaged. It was not too difficult to install and it hot my camera up and working again. I'd recommend them.
This place has repaired two cameras for me now. The repair work is excellent and they are very reasonably priced. Work quality is excellent, I was impressed with every part of their service. Only concern was their status page is not in real time, not a big deal, everything else was above and beyond! They are a great choice for repairing digital cameras.
I ordered a repair part and admittingly I misdiagnosed the problem and I ordered the wrong part. In order to return the part I had to pay a restocking fee of 15% plus pay the shipping back. I agree in that I messed up with the part I ordered but I was on a forum and so many people were saying what I probably needed. When I went to my local repair place they said the part I ordered was not what I needed. So ivwas not wanting to pay the restocking fee but they wouldn't budge because I took the advice from people on a forum who never knew what I needed. I guess I see their point but that was a little over $5 that I shouldn't have had to pay. Next time in not guessing on what I need but rather I'd just had it fixed by a shop. I was trying to save the money and wanting to fix it myself. That wound up costing me more.
I dropped my Canon SX210IS while hiking a few weeks ago, cracking the lcd screen. I could not get any kind of assurance from Canon as to whether they would fix the problem if I sent it in, or just try to sell me another camera. C&P.com looked they had a repair kit all ready, so I simply printed off their order form and sent it in with the camera. About a week later I thought I would follow up and see if they had received it and was horrified to see many serious complaints against this company. I called them and their customer serv. People assured me they were totally legit. And that I would not be charged until the repair was done. Two weeks later and I have the camera back, fully functional, completely cleaned, a new lcd, AND a new backlight. For $89, that is an awesome deal. I don't know what happened in the past, but I got GREAT service from camerasandparts.com.
I ordered a new battery door for my camera. The price was quite good and they shipped it fast but they don't send any installation instructions.
I thought it would be easy to install but it wasn't. I thought it would just clip on or something but no luck with that.
I wound up emailing them for help on how to install it and they called me back pretty quick. There was a trick to putting it on the camera, it actually twisted right on. Once the woman I spoke to walked me through installing it, it did go right on easy enough.
They were polite and helpful but just including some written instructions would have made it easier to install the part myself.
All in all, it was a positive experience and they were very nice to deal with.
The service here was actually really good. They repaired our Canon SD990 that we dropped on the lens. My only comaibt would be that I would have liked them to pay for the shipping to them and also the shipping back. I can't see it costing much mire for them to email a shipping label which can be done. Seriously, how much more would it cost them to do that, I really don't think very much. Aside from that, they were perfect otherwise. Everything cost me $79 for the parts included, the labor included, they serviced and cleaned everything too. They did cover priority maul coming back to me but had they covered it going in to them too then I would have gave them a perfect five stars. They were still the cheapest of every ace I check and they did do a great job. They also cleaned the camera up very nicely too. I can recommend them for good repair work.
I used this site (cameras&parts) for a problem I was having with my Canon. The camera was showing the error message for the lens and my lens was stuck on the camera. I believe it was from sand getting in there, this happened weeks after my last trip to the beach for the summer.
So this place actually did a nice job on the repair and they cleaned the hell out of the camera. It's working nicely again and the whole process was a few weeks plus shipping back and forth.
I'd recommend them to anyone. They did great work and the communication was actually quite good. Their prices for the repair work is more than reasonable too. What I liked best was when I spoke with them I could immediately tell they actually knew what they were talking about. Since they only do Canons I got the feeling they really know the in's and out's of these cameras. My camera seems to work like new again and I'm happy for that. Recommend to anyone needing to have a Canon repaired or worked on.
I recently sent my Canon G9 to camerasandparts.com. They were very professional and went above and beyond what their job requires. This was to be a rush order and the person I spoke with retrieved a coupon code for me to use. This resulted in a very quick turn around time and ended up costing just a bit more than their regular service. I am extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and service I received. Please note, I am NOT an employee of this company, but a stay at home mom from Washington state. I was a bit reluctant to send my camera sight unseen to a company half way across the country for repair, however I am extremely happy that I did. I will certainly do business with them again!
Our beloved Canon G9 went down a couple months ago with the dreaded lens error. The (great) local camera shop gave us the bad news that our only options were to send it in to Canon for a long wait and a steep price or give this online outfit a try. I was a little skeptical and made a phone call to CamerasAndParts.com before sending my camera in. I spoke with a very nice and helpful gentleman who assured me we'd be in good hands. I was told up front that their service could take weeks but that we could pay for it to be expedited. After sending it in for regular service, we decided to take a trip and requested the quicker service to get it back in time. It was done in a week and seems to be as good as new now. I would recommend them to anyone who has a Canon problem.
Thanks!

Excellent all around. This service work out nicely for our camera repair. They were great.
I had a very positive experience with Cameras and Parts. I sent them my Canon PowerShot A360, which I had dropped, with a "lens error". They were unable to obtain the requisite part needed for repair but replaced my camera with a virtually identical PowerShot A360 in excellent working order at no additional cost. I don't think you could ask for better treatment than that! Let me add that I'm not a 'shill' and am a legitimate customer. From my experience, I would recommend Cameras and Parts withouth hesitation. It's unfortunate that they've been getting hostile reviews from adversaries because they came through for me! This is an unsolicited review.
I've had two repairs from this place and both were fine. Some suggest poor communication from them and while I can say they didn't sweep me off my feet with communication, they were nice and polite and they do reply. One thing to note is that most all of these shops are about the same with communication. Cameras and Parts doesn't hold your hand and rub your belly during the process of the repair. Keep in mind, if you pay Canon about double the price, they won't do that either. Some people should grow up and get back to reality. For anyone out there who has a reasonable sense of mind, Cameras and Parts does a good job on repairs and they have better pricing than most any other place. I can confidently recommend them based on two good repair experiences.
This website repaired my Canon Powershot A560 lense problem when everyone told me to throw the camera away. The camera was a special gift and I wanted to have it fixed. They have excellent service, knowledgeable and very helpful. Would highly recommend.
Answer: Hi Laurie. We appreciate the communication. Please know, we have been trying to email you, as most recent as of today. Your emails come back that they are being blocked by RMail which seems to be some sort of a spam blocker you utilize on your email. We've tried calling you at the 907 area code that you provided which shows to be Alaska. The phone however seems to ring as an international number and nobody answers. The unit was shipped in from Belize so we assume that is where your Alaska area code is forwarding to. You provided a return address in Houston for the unit. We did receive the unit along with the check which was enclosed with the camera. We have not yet deposited the check. The unit requires a part which is special order. Once the part arrives for your camera, it was to be completed and looked after for you. It seems you have some concerns as you are not receiving a response. Please know, we feel we have made more than a reasonable effort to contact you by email and phone to no avail. With you being out of the country as it seems (based on the way the Alaska number ringing as international and the unit being sent from Belize where we can't seem to reach you), not to mention it seems you have this Spam Blocker on your email as we get an auto response that our emails are being blocked, perhaps it is best to send the unit back unrepaired. In doing so, we of course will not deposit your payment (your check would be returned with the camera) and we'll gladly look after the Return Priority Shipping / Handling to the Houston address as you provided, no problem there at all. If you'd like to email us, perhaps you have an alternate email address you can communicate with us through or maybe there's a way to unblock our emails through this RMail Spam Blocker you are using. If we don't hear back, rest assured we'll send the unit back unrepaired to the Houston address as provided. Your check will be returned with the unit as nothing would be owed for any Service / Repair at that point. Again, we'll gladly look after the Return Priority Shipping / Handling to Houston for you as well. Please either unblock our emails from going through or perhaps you can set up a free email account online and email us through there. As it is a holiday weekend we're going into here in the US, we kindly ask that you please allow some extra time for a response. We'll watch for an email response from you so we can help... thanks again!
Answer: It's easy to tell that most of these comments about C&P are shills from C&P. Most people don't take the time to praise them... The BBB gives them an F rating. The Texas Attorney General has been involved... https://www.facebook.com/camerasandparts/?fref=ts
