Cover was a bit cumbersome to deploy single-handedly but should be more manageable with assistance. I thought there were pockets to accommodate open as well as closed mirrors but it will handle both positions. Hopefully the cover will be serviceable for a few years. Storage bag is included.
Item arrived on time. Have been trying since to get a hold of somebody at car cover so we can return the item. Please get in touch with me so you can send the necessary information so we can return this item and get a refund. Have sent emails and nobody has replied to us. Very disappointed. Very frustrating. Not a good way to handle business.
The overall experience was good. I do have one of your covers that i purchased in the past that has shown some amount of deterioration, so i will be keeping my eye on this new one and the guarantee.
Out of the 42,000 plus reviews, I'm the one to get a bad wrap. I ordered a Mazda cover from them promoting their Memorial Day sale of 61% off. Sounds great right? The cover was about the same price as Moss Miata however Moss charged shipping. I chose not to select free shipping w/ carcovers.com but selected express instead for $30 bucks. I needed the cover quick. I could have ordered one through Moss for $70 bucks more and got the cover overnighted. This was important to me because I just purchased a brand new Miata. It's now sitting in my driveway under trees that I have to babysit for bird droppings and tree sap until this cover arrives. Had I ordered the cover from Moss, it would have arrived yesterday. Carcovers.com's express was 1-2 days. It should be here today but I get a notice from UPS telling me that it won't be here until Friday June 2nd, a WEEK after ordering! So disappointing. UPS is the worst to do business with. I'm not even sure I'll get the cover since they love to deliver to the wrong addresses, consistently. Thanks carcovers.com. Fool me once, shame on you. Grrrr. You stole my joy after buying this brand new car. I trusted you. Update: They did return the $30 express shipping charge to my order. The cover finally arrived and I returned it immediately for refund. After reading the negative reviews on the damage this cover does to the paint of a car, I wasn't taking the chance. I did some research and it's important on car covers to get "paint friendly" ones. This one wouldn't have been. And by the way, this is a Chinese company located here in the USA. I won't order from them again. There are many other companies out there that are Made in the USA. The best deal isn't always the right decision. Hope this helps some people.
Tip for consumers:
Their shipping is horrible but they will return money if you paid for express and didn't get it, like I did. Be careful because these covers aren't paint friendly. Make sure the description says this or you'll regret the discount you got! You'll pay for it in damages to your car. I immediately sent the cover back when UPS delivered it as a result. I had to pay $38 bucks to do so via USPS (not UPS) but Car Cover gave me $30 back on the shipping that I paid extra for. Chinese company.

So far I like the website. I ordered the 3 L silver car cover. Honestly it reminds me of a dryer sheet material. A little rough and kind of thin. Haven't put it on the car yet. No wow factor yet...
I have now purchased three covers with consideration for several others. I was surprised why my exterior corvette cover did not have the securement straps pre attached to it like my other covers.

I just receive my car cover fits perfectly haven't had any issues with it yet but again I just got it. Quality seems good and im over all very happy with it
Put it on for the first time last night. Seems to be fine. Wish there had been instructions on how to use the cables and lock. We'll see how it works in the bad weather.

Upon receiving the car cover, we were very pleased with the cover itself. I thought, however that a lock was to be included. If it was, we did not receive that.

Label the cover front rear to make it easier on a consumer to install on her vehicle and there are no mirror covers on this particular car cover that appeared to be on your advertisement.

I WOULD LIKE TO RETURN THE CAR COVER. IT DOESN'T STAY ON I BELIEVE IS A LITTLE TOO SMALL. CUSTOMER SERVICE, HOWEVER, WAS GREAT! BECAUSE OF THE FIRES I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RETURN IT YET. I WOULD LIKE TO PICK ANOTHER CAR COVER FROM YOU GUYS THOUGH.
As for the customer service it was excellent and response back was above and beyond. My question was answered in less than one minute after asking. I received my car cover (Gold Shield 5L) in a normal timely manner. As for my initial reaction to the car cover I expected a thicker cover with a way softer lining to protect from very fine scratches to the paint which I can't say it will as of now. The cover I purchased (which is suppose to be the best offered) states superior protection from UV rays and the elements. I have messaged with several very satisfied customers that have purchased the exact cover prior to me making the decision to get one. The feedback I received was nothing but perfection. As for the custom fit my initial thoughts after putting it on my car (2013 Corvette 60th anniversary " mirror BLACK") could have been better, but time and the cover relaxing " wrinkles" may prove better. And to be a 5 layer cover seems very thin and light but time will prove the protective quality. I've had other car covers that I felt fit better, had softer lining and as for UV "reflective" ability had a better outer shell. But those covers were heavier and more expensive. But if this cover (Gold Shield 5L) does what it says it can "and time will tell" it will be the go to cover without a doubt at twice the price. As for my star ratings they reflect initial truthful opinion when I first received the cover and put it on my car which could be higher or lower rating after a few months of use.
