I've shopped at Cookstore.ca many times over the past 5 years. Their selection of high quality cookware is among the best I've seen in Canada. While delivery sometimes takes a little while, they keep me posted and always come through -- and I've found it's worth the wait for excellent products, some which can't be found anywhere else. Recently, they went above and beyond: I had ordered a high-end item that unfortunately had a defect that was revealed on use; when I went to the manufacturer, their customer service was surprisingly and disappointingly inadequate. I contacted Cookstore.ca and explained the situation, and without any further questions they made it right. Kudos to Cookstore.ca for being a responsive -- and responsible -- retailer!
This deserves 0 stars, but I'm forced to give it a star. I ordered my espresso machine in Oct 2022. It still has not arrived! Rip off! Do not buy anything from this store. No response from so called customer service after repeated emails to them. Initially they did and then disappeared with my money.
I asked for a refund after they told me that they were waiting for product. They said no refund as the order was in shipping'. LIE. I again asked for a refund as they did not have the product to ship. They said no. I asked them to call me and they said no.
Seriously- don't order from here.
Great selections for home cooks of all levels as we continue to stay home during the pandemics. Excellent communication throughout the ordering process. I would continue to recommend Cookstore to my friends and family.
I am grateful to have the boater's Swiss army knife - just as I thought it would be from the description online - delivery was longer than expected, but it wasn't an issue for me, and I was well up-dated, and was given the option to collect a refund - but really, not an issue for me - glad to have it now - excellent service, Thanks! Ordered a Zavor Lux LCD multicooker on November 23 2019, after one week item had not shipped contacted store by e-mail, was told they were waiting on a shipment to arrive next week. Next week has come and gone, still not shipped yet! E-mailed the store again asking for a refund, now they are not answering my e-mails! Two weeks and one day later, item has still not shipped! Do not purchase anything from this store!
Prior to placing my order, I emailed their Customer service and asked when the delivery date would be. They told me mid-July, so I placed my order on July 6th. It took 2.5 months and I emailed them at least 5 times to enquire about my order. They keep saying there is a backorder and giving me false dates and expectations. When I request a refund and to cancel the order after 2.5 months, they "backorder" no longer was a problem. They shipped my order within a day, however, I had already bought my frying pan elsewhere! Now I am stuck with 2 frying pans. I emailed their *******@cookstore.ca for a Return Authorization number and they simply ignored my request. Geez, this is the first and last time I will deal with this company!
We purchased a Final Touch 6 bottle liquor dispenser from them on Aug 31st, and the item hasn't even shipped yet. We've written several emails and the representative who keeps replying (Anna B) keeps telling us that we will be receiving it the following week. Seems like that's their go to response even though they have no clue when you'll be receiving it. All they do is ask us if we would like to cancel our order, instead of asking how they can remedy the situation. We try and support Canadian companies, which is why we purchased the item through them, but next time I'll stick with Amazon. Clearly we aren't the only customers who've had an experience like this since I've read multiple reviews and this comment seems to be everywhere (except on their website but I wouldn't trust those reviews. Not worth the headache!

Why have there been no formal complaints of fraud levelled against this company. Will not rehash my situation but is identical to the vast number of one star reviews. The knife was a gift for my brother, and I ordered early exactly to avoid to not receive before my trip to see him.
Unfortunately, I going to my trip without my order, due the Cook Store's incompetence to do what they promise.
Plus, I just saw in the website the knife still available there with the same advertisement (2 to 4 weeks for shipping), but they DON'T have it at stock?
I will never recommend the Cook Store! The worst store ever.
P. s I tried to contact them many times to solve the delay in my order, and finally I decided to cancel it.
Machine arrived when promised, Cookstore staff were very attentive and knew their stuff. Machine works as described, delivering great lattes and machiatos. Will certainly visit Cookstore again if I need any kithen item sin the future.
Either these guys are hampered by covid, or are ripoff artists. Paid 1300 buck 4 weeks ago, havent heard a thing since, zero response from my mulitiple inquiries regarding the status of the paid for products. Stop ripping off people if you cant give me what I paid for. Stop taking orders for gods sake.
We originally ordered a Zwiiling kettle from Cookstore. When they learned it was not available they recommended a Kitchen Aid kettle. It was a great choice and the Cookstore shipped it the same day we agreed on their substitute. It arrived in a few days and was packaged perfectly. We will definitely buy from Cookstore again as they were very good in all aspects of our purchase.
I put in two separate orders on the same day back in June. Given these crazy times my orders were slow in coming so I was in contact with the Cook Store a number of times. The products were also on backorder so I made a change to one order. What eventually arrived wasn't quite right so I emailed again and got it rectified. Each email response was quick, polite and very professional. Thanks for all your help in making it right.
Well Hello, Here goes The customer service was really good, though was a long wait to get the product. Given the Covid problems it seems my long wait was justifiable. I was happy not to buy from Amazon and got to support a Canadian company. Keep up the good work. Stanley
I ordered an All American Pressure cooker on June 2,2020. On June 5 I revived an email which stated that the product was expected to ship in 3-6 business days. On June 12 i received an email which stated that the product was delayed further and no deliver estimate was given. At this point I emailed CookStore to let them know I was disappointed because I assumed that the product was in stock when I purchased it. I also asked if they had any other models in stock that I could receive sooner but they said it would take longer to redo the order. On June 15 I received a reply which stated that they are waiting on a shipment from a suppler and I would take another 2-9 business days. Today, July 2,2020 I received an email which stated that I had to either have my order refunded or find a substitute. My first and last shopping experience on this website.
I ordered quite a lot from Cookstore. In the early days of the Covid lockdown, I was frustrated by delays and quite angry, but as time went on, Cookware solved its issues and so I kept ordering. Each time, the goods arrived more quickly. Now I purchased two more pots for Cookware to send as gifts for family and friends.
I ordered an item that was in stock in early December, received an email that said that it would ship within a few days. One week later, I received another email that said that it was now out of stock, that it had been delayed and would ship ASAP. I've contacted them twice, they told me that the item was in back order. I was first told it was expected to ship in late february, now they tell me it was expected to ship in late march/early april. We are now April 10th and no word from my item whatsoever... And of course I've been charged for it when I ordered it... I guess I'll have to write to them AGAIN within a few days... I've often ordered items online on all sorts of websites, and this is the first time I have that much trouble. This is unacceptable (even in Corona times)! Will never order from them ever again!
We purchased a Krampouz Domestic Crepe Maker from the Cookstore. The product is flawed in that the device holding the batter when filled will not hold enough to make the complete circle. When I called to say I was not satisfied, they will only take a return if it is not used. My advice is to never use this compamy unless you know a product and have tried it out. I will not go back.
I ordered from this place a month ago still haven't received my order and they are giving me the same excuses I see from other reviews here. After they sent me an email saying I could get a refund, they are saying I received that email by mistake and that they cannot refund me because the order was already sent to shipping. Uhhhh... what? I think the positive reviews for them here are fake and done by employees. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
Placed 2 orders. 1 order was delivered in reasonable time. 2nd order was delivered to a different province. Tried multiple times to reach someone in customer service to explain that while the tracking number says it was delivered, it was delivered to the WRONG ADDRESS! They continue to say the item has been shipped. But my $300 order which was placed over 6 weeks ago has not been delivered to me.
Placed an order for a product May 4,2020. Add claimed delivery of product in 4 to 6 business days. 7 weeks later, no product. Series of emails resulted in a run around. After 30 days we recieved an email offering a refund, we accepted and nothing happened. Enquiries got the response that the offer was made in ERROR. Then they switched to the order was sent to shipping so they can't do a refund. Told tracking info was to be sent shortly. It wasn't. Still waiting for shipping info. Many enquiries were not answered, request to call us were ignored, and they don't answered there phone.
You can only rate this as low as 1 star, I'd have picked minus 3.

I reviewed many sites in order to purchase a Delonghi Eletta super automatic offee machine (these are not cheap). The price on CookStore was almost too good to believe, at less that half the price of some other online retailers. I ordered the machine feeling somewhat skeptical but just over a week later I received the machine. The machine was well packaged and arrived flawless. We have been using the coffee machine for two weeks now and this is by far the best purchase we have made online. I would highly recommend CookStore to everyone.
When I ask for cancellation of my order, they deliberately ignore my emails for more than 2 weeks, then the order was shipped... and they said they couldn't cancel anymore
I asked for returning, again no responses... They are waiting for the deadline of returning, then I will have to keep the item...

Dishonest staff and deceiving practices make this a company that you NEED to steer clear of! Lied to me regarding wait time and features of an espresso machine purchased at full price - then during the MONTHS of waiting, the price dropped by $500, i requested to cancel my order and reorder with the new price (because they wouldn't honor the sale price - even though i had waited 6 weeks at this point and contacted them multiple times) - they did not allow this and told me i would receive a 40% refund charge (for a $1,799 espresso machine). These people are absolutely criminal.
We found a lot of tempting prices on Cook store. Unfortunately after placing several orders, we have discovered that they are terribly slow to fill orders. Lots of the stuff was on backorder. You only find out AFTER placing the order. We waited over 3 months for one order and then found it for cheaper next day delivery on AMAZON.ca. They have also delivered incomplete orders and then we had to argue with them to get them to make it right. My wife just cancelled a cutlery order we have been waiting for almost 4 months for. Not wasting my time on this web site when stuff is available elswhere. I am now shopping elswhere. This is just a waste of time!
