I've shopped at Cookstore.ca many times over the past 5 years. Their selection of high quality cookware is among the best I've seen in Canada. While delivery sometimes takes a little while, they keep me posted and always come through -- and I've found it's worth the wait for excellent products, some which can't be found anywhere else. Recently, they went above and beyond: I had ordered a high-end item that unfortunately had a defect that was revealed on use; when I went to the manufacturer, their customer service was surprisingly and disappointingly inadequate. I contacted Cookstore.ca and explained the situation, and without any further questions they made it right. Kudos to Cookstore.ca for being a responsive -- and responsible -- retailer!
This deserves 0 stars, but I'm forced to give it a star. I ordered my espresso machine in Oct 2022. It still has not arrived! Rip off! Do not buy anything from this store. No response from so called customer service after repeated emails to them. Initially they did and then disappeared with my money.
My order took more than a month to get, it arrived broken. I wrote them numerous emails and they answered with nonsense. I will never deal with them again and suggest you do the same. I believe the order I got was a return from another customer as the packaging was not factory.

The shipping dealings are real. I've been waiting since September 2021 - now May 2022 - for my product.
They play games, tell you it will ship, then when you follow up, they tell you there is a supplier delay. I have emails to back up my claims.
They will never follow up with you; so you have to follow up with them.
Today again yet another delay, so I placed an official BBB complaint which was accepted.
Buyer beware; do NOT trust them.
Inefficient company from initial order (2 months to arrive), to customer service support (slow and sometimes lack of response) to shipping/distribution (poor packing of brakable items), to replacement product due to broken parts (twice), to finally giving up and asking for a refund (good luck, they want to keep your money!)

Day after order was placed I was advised that one item was no longer available by a customer service representative who facilitated my replacement item, very polite and professional. Order arrived within days. I am pleased with my purchase.
Bought an Omcan, single zone, 192 Bottle Wine Fridge - For Fine Wines. Received my $2500 Wine Fridge and set up in my basement. Tested temperature without any bottles in (just in case) and the digital reader on fridge was off by anywhere from 4 degrees on the bottom to 7 degrees on the top. Tried contacting them and they said they could not take to unit back. I contacted Omcan who agreed to send a technician to the house to test and found the same results in temperature variation but said I would have to go back to Cookstore for refund!. Contacted Cookstore and they have given me the runaround and would charge me 35% restocking fee if I returned it. The unit is faulty and does not operate as advertised nor as a single zone wine fridge should work. Filing a court claim this week. Read all the reviews on this company - buyer definitely beware!
Doing business with CookStore makes one forget about Amazon real quick.

We are thoroughly pleased with the ordering of our All Clad Gourmet Plus slow cooker. The process was easy and the tracking made simple. We actually received the item a day ahead of time and it only took five days. It was my original intent to purchase the All Clad Gourmet slow cooker for S289.95 at Williams Sonoma in Calgary. I then saw your website with the Gourmet Plus model and realized the marvelous extra features for $324. Williams Sonoma had that same item for $425. What a bargain purchasing from the Cook Store! We purchased this Item because a friend of ours has had the All Clad Gourmet slow cooker for nearly 4-years and is very pleased with it. Our last Crock Pot slow cooker died last week so we borrowed theirs to cook an out of this world corned beef. We seem to purchase the box store slow cookers about every two years. Here is hoping that the All Clad will give us many years of service.
Do not order from this company. They charge your credit card but don't ship anything, they don't answer your emails, when you call, they put you on hold then hang up on you so you have to call again only to be put on hold and then be hung up on again. Nobody ever answers the phone. I will have to report the issue to my bank for a refund.

Not happy I placed my order & given an order # and on its way 7 days later received an email stating your refund has been placed back to your cc. Phoned the rep & was told the warehouse that they fill their orders were out of stock. They should have known that before they told me the order was on its way.
Ordered a SMEG kettle - website said it was in stock. After a few weeks I emailed them to ask them the status of my order. They said it would be 2-3 weeks before they could ship it. I asked them to cancel the order and I haven't heard from them since. They won't answer my many emails, you can only get an automated message that tells you to email them when you try and call them. They have my 250 dollars and I have nothing. I am basically being ghosted. Merry Xmas. Don't trust this unethical company.

I bought the Onni Koda 16 and I believe it has to be the best portable Pizza oven on the planet. Heats up very quickly using the propane but gets results similar to traditional wood-fired ovens. Cook Store also sells all of the accessories like covers and the - soon to be released- natural gas conversion kit.
I ordered 2 frying pans on October 9th. I immediately wrote to customer service to ask for the $10 discount I forgot to apply to my order and they gave it to me. I wrote again a few weeks later because I had not received any notification of delivery. They told me that it would be done within two weeks. 1 month later, I still haven't heard from them so I wrote again but this time no answer. I have been trying to reach them for a month without success. I haven't figured out how to request a refund either.
Ordering was easy and service is profesional and prompt. They carry lines that I have had difficulty finding in canada. I have ordered quite a bit over the past few months and continue to do so. Your site is the first one I go to now. Susan G

I've shopped at the Cook Store a few times over the years and I'm always able to find exactly what I'm looking for at a great price.
My order took 9 business days to arrive (the site suggests 5-10 days) which in this day of 2 day shipping seemed a little slow but I wasn't in a hurry to get the items.
I'm always happy to support a Canadian company and will be back again.

This store is a scam. I bought a coffee maker for over 800.00 over a month ago. Didnt say when they took my money that it was on back order. Then I got an email saying it would be 2-9 days and then for boxing day I see they still have it listed on their site as in stock! I have been emailing for three days for a refund and no one is answering. DO NOT BUY!

I placed an order on September 13th 2022 and I am still waiting for it to arrive. They took the money out from my account already and they are now not even returning my requests for a refund. They are very shady - do not buy from them!
I placed a substantial online order on April 1 2020. I received a shipping notice that the goods would be deluded on April 16. When this did not happen I tried to track the shipment, but there was no tracking available. I reached out to Cook Store several times to no avail and they don't answer their phone. Ifinallt managed to email the shipper. They confirmed my goods had been damaged in transit. I asked Cook Store for a refund. They never committed and said they would get back to me. Two mo this later and I have no goods and no refund. I finally handed this over to Visa. I have yet to receive any money back, but hoping Visa will come through for me. I would advise that you never deal with these awful people.
The prices at The Cookstore are very competitive (I always check). Communications are good if there is going to be any delay in the order. And I particularly like your website: it is really attractive and easy to navigate. Best of all it's fast and doesn't cease up even if I've looked at upteen items. I never resent finding one of your emails in my inbox!
I bought actually trying to buy Fissler Cookware set and Pressure Cooker from this site and paid $860.00 Saw their rating was 3.33 but still didn't care and said to myself Canadian company went for it. November 26,2020 items were in stock minutes after I bought was out of stock few weeks later they said items will be delivered around Xmas or beginning of January. In January they changed dates and I called no answer emailed them got an answer if I wanted refund or substitute with another items. I emailed again for refund got an answer it's backordered, shipping now bla bla bla. I called credit card company to dispute and got my money back in 2 weeks. Items I wanted is in stock now. Maybe they take people's money and use it in Stock Market who knows.
Service second to none. I followed up on my order and before I knew it, it was on my front porch. Customer support is outstanding and they're not afraid to talk with you, one on one. That's almost unheard of these days. Thanks, CookStore.
Great deal, much better sale than Walmart or amazon offering. Love my new mixer by bodum. Compared online through a few sites and found cookstore.ca had much better sales than the usual big online stores.
The Customer Service Team is absolutely Excellent - in this day and time when service stops after money is taken I cannot say this is the case with the cook store.
When issues were discovered with their carrier they implemented the appropriate corrective action to remedy the situation.
