I've shopped at Cookstore.ca many times over the past 5 years. Their selection of high quality cookware is among the best I've seen in Canada. While delivery sometimes takes a little while, they keep me posted and always come through -- and I've found it's worth the wait for excellent products, some which can't be found anywhere else. Recently, they went above and beyond: I had ordered a high-end item that unfortunately had a defect that was revealed on use; when I went to the manufacturer, their customer service was surprisingly and disappointingly inadequate. I contacted Cookstore.ca and explained the situation, and without any further questions they made it right. Kudos to Cookstore.ca for being a responsive -- and responsible -- retailer!
This deserves 0 stars, but I'm forced to give it a star. I ordered my espresso machine in Oct 2022. It still has not arrived! Rip off! Do not buy anything from this store. No response from so called customer service after repeated emails to them. Initially they did and then disappeared with my money.

After finding out my Breville grinder's burr was not a replacement part and perhaps needed replacing.
Good review on Baratza so thought I would shop Amazon. Then thought maybe try and find a Canadian

2-3 times longer to grind same 18 gms of beans, always a mess to clean up underneath the coffee grind cup
And if you change grind settings you will need to grind small amount of beans as throw away to flush

Over 100 days and no product. Turns out they don't carry the product. Someone else does. Took a e-mail to BBB to finally get a refund. Terrible company.

I received my purchase in satisfactory time, the price was good it was cheaper than here and with the free shipping I came out ahead. I would order again. Best part it was Canadian.
Iought a toaster because they said it was in stock and would ship asap. I find out a month later they have no stock... not for 3 more months. They did not share this with me.

I ordered my items May 7/20, I still have not received them (June 23/20). First it was back ordered but they would ship it out as soon as the received it. Then it was at the shipping department and I would be receiving my tracking info within one business day (that was June 9/20). On June 11/20 apparently they reached out to the shipping department with no answer, June 15/20 still nothing (all contact has been initiated by me) and apparently even though I hadn't asked to yet they felt the need to inform me that they cannot cancel my order. June 16 & 18 I contacted still no answer other than they reached out to the shipping department. On the 19th I opened another ticket and they closed it without a reply. Did I mention tickets are the only way you can get in touch with this company, you call their number and get an automated response, if you wait through the response it actually rings but no one ever picks up. You can leave a message but no one ever returns your call (I tried 3 times). Do not buy from this company, they lead you to believe all items are in stock when they are not and they will not tell you they are back ordered unless you contact them. It has been almost 2 months since I placed my order and I have given up. I have contacted my credit card company and requested a reversal of the transaction as I have not received my item yet.

Ordered 10k in equipment with the promise that it would be shipped in 5 days,, well that was 43 days ago, cant get anybody to pick up the phone or email responce, small claims court is the next step

I put in three separate orders and I'm very happy with the products and service. Delivered in a timely fashion! When one item wasn't in stock they substituted it with a similar but higher priced one.
After waiting a week for my order to be shipped, I emailed Cookstore, and was told that their average processing time is 7-14 business days, but that they usually ship sooner than that.
Weeks later, I asked to have my order cancelled. I had purchased alternatives elsewhere, which both shipped and arrived during this time. Cook Store refused, saying it was "on the way". A request for confirmation that that meant it was already in the mail was ignored; instead, a couple of hours later, I received tracking information which stated the sender created a shipping label. It wasn't "on the way" when I first requested cancellation; it was, at most, boxed without a shipping label.
Now I have to deal with the rigmarole of rejecting this package and doing a chargeback because they wouldn't not send it after missing their own extraordinarily low bar of a processing time, and they don't refund shipping.
I have never been so disappointed in a Canadian company. I'm not sure how they could expect repeat customers by lying.
Tip for consumers:
If you enjoy headaches, customer service ignoring your requests, and making purchases that may never arrive at all and aren't returnable because of Cook Store's lengthy processing times, then this is the site for you.
I wait for the order that I made a month ago and still no news. They didn't answer my mail. I don't even know if my parcel is lost. I don't recommand.
When I reached out to the customer service, they were very accommodating and on the top of that the products I ordered from Cookstore have been great.

I bought the deLonghi deep fryer. I haven't used it yet but I like what I see. The service with CookStore.ca is amazing. The choice of products is top-of-the-line and out of this world! Thank you!
Ordered a present for my husband back in June. It was supposed to arrive within two days. Summer goes on, still no arrival. When I contacted the company they proceeded to tell me that it is not in from their warehouse and they are not sure when it will be in. They still had charged my card, so I was now being charged interest for an item that had not yet shipped. No where on the site did it say that the item was not in stock. When I asked for a refund, they talked me into having 10 dollars back and to wait longer. I agreed. This happened over the next several months. Through Christmas, still did not have the item. In January I asked for a full refund, they gave me $40 less back than the original price I paid. Their argument was that they had given me refunds throughout my wait time of 10 dollars here, 20 dollars there. I only actually received the one 10 and then the total refund minus the 40. Terrible considering I am now out 40 dollars, the wait time, the interest, and the present. The last response (email only) from the company was very snarky and unwelcomed. I do not recommend ordering from them.
