I've shopped at Cookstore.ca many times over the past 5 years. Their selection of high quality cookware is among the best I've seen in Canada. While delivery sometimes takes a little while, they keep me posted and always come through -- and I've found it's worth the wait for excellent products, some which can't be found anywhere else. Recently, they went above and beyond: I had ordered a high-end item that unfortunately had a defect that was revealed on use; when I went to the manufacturer, their customer service was surprisingly and disappointingly inadequate. I contacted Cookstore.ca and explained the situation, and without any further questions they made it right. Kudos to Cookstore.ca for being a responsive -- and responsible -- retailer!
This deserves 0 stars, but I'm forced to give it a star. I ordered my espresso machine in Oct 2022. It still has not arrived! Rip off! Do not buy anything from this store. No response from so called customer service after repeated emails to them. Initially they did and then disappeared with my money.
This was my first time ordering from your company. I purchased The KitchenAid - 11 Pc Hard Anodized Induction Nonstick Cookware Set + KitchenAid - 11.25" Hard Anodized Induction Nonstick Grill Pan. The products arrived in pretty good order and ahead of the expected date. Very happy with the purchase price and product itself... their quality is amazing! Thank you Cook Store! I purchased 4 fryer baskets online, and returned 3 as they instructed. The refund has not been given and they are aways "Looking into it" or their online chat just disappears when I try to get answers that way. I would NOT recommend ordering anything from them online.
Over a month waiting for an order of vacuum bags. Tried calling. Can't. Then tried online communication - got empty promises. Tried cancelling. No reply. Now after a month waiting I'm told the items are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer and Cook Store forgot to tell them.
Long story short - go direct to the manufacturer and save time and sanity.

Placed an order more than a month ago. Sent multiple emails to request updates and have received no answer yet. People on the phone told me they could not help and that I had to retry sending an email.
Credit card has been charged, but I am yet to received my item or even get some updates on my order.

Would rate at ZERO stars if I could. Cook Store sales offers less than adequate advice about products and once they have your money, they provide the WORST service I have ever experienced.
1. The sales person provided inaccurate advice regarding the JURA models I was comparing for purchase.
2. Cook Store neglected to ship the item I purchased for over $2,000. They assured me of delivery within 1 week, and after waiting for delivery for over 2 weeks, I reached out to enquire; they apparently "forgot" to ship the purchase. How can you take over $2,000 from a customer and neglect to ship the item.
3. Once received, the item we purchased had a defect, and they provided pathetic support.
IN SUMMARY, this company is not knowledgeable regarding the products they sell and once they make a sale, service is very close to non-existent.

Do not purchase from Cookstore.ca!! They incentivize customers with gift card but it is absolutely not worth it (I had to remind them).They offer no service; nor do they stand behind what they sell. You cannot even open the box and then make a return. Our purchase was not what we intended and it also required service immediately. Cook Store would not refund us or even offer a credit toward another machine. We had to send elsewhere for service.

I wish I had found the reviews before purchasing! The site looked professional and they had items I could not find anywhere else. It turns they couldn't find them either. I ordered in July 2022 for a friend's birthday in the fall and didn't get the items in time. I thought, ok no worries I will find another gift and give her these items at Christmas. Wrong! It's January 2023, items not shipped yet and no contact from customer service to provide updates, unless I reach out to them. Every time same response: unfortunately there was a delay on an item(s), we will split the deliveries and send you partial shipments. I did get 1 small item in November, worth 5% of my order. My payment was accepted in full back in July! No delay in taking payments, I guess they are good at something.
Tip for consumers:
They do not have the items in stock, buy at your own risk. You may never receive your order.

I have made several purchases from CookStore in the past year. All purchases arrived on time or earlier. The pricing was in each case less than elsewhere and the free shipping was a bonus. I would recommend shopping CookStore with confidence based on my experience.
I made a purchase on November 11/22 and since then I have made several attempts to speak to someone at cookstore regarding my order which has not been delivered as of today December 19/22. It's over one month and I have tried to email them at their help line and I've tried to call several times. They have never responded to my e-mail and they never answered their phone. The least they could have done is to reply to my email. This is very poor business practices. I will be requesting for a full refund.
I ordered a chef's knife for my mum's birthday and the $200 payment was processed immediately.
I emailed to ask how long it would take to deliver, and was told it would take up to 14 days excluding weekends and holidays.
After 14 days, it had still not been delivered. So I wrote an email requesting a full refund. Two weeks later, I still haven't received a refund, and my mum's birthday is now in the distant past.
There's nothing worse than online companies taking funds for products they KNOW that they don't have.
Pay attention to the MULTIPLE one star ratings here. This site continues to post that their items are "in stock" when they in fact, are not. Their promise of shipping in 2-7 is a UNTRUE for majority of their products. I order a product as a gift nearly 2 months ago, and it just arrived today (with no shipping email to notify me). All the while, I had to message the company consistently for updates about an order confirmation notice, shipping information, or any updates. Perhaps they are understaffed, but I will not be ordering here again due to this terrible experience. Get your product elsewhere.
Back in May of 2021, I placed two separate orders on their website. The products were all backordered, but at the end of August I received a shipment of a single item from each of the two orders. However, their website showed one order as complete, while the other was still marked processing. Repeated attempts to get this resolved by support made it clear that their support reps were not reading my description of the problem, and were responding from a script. It was beyond frustrating. As of this day, I'm still waiting on hundreds of dollars worth of product, which they insist was shipped and will not acknowledge that they marked certain products as shipped that were not, while at the same time sending me products that are still marked pending. I'm not convinced the support is more than an automated system, so poor is their reading comprehension. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else. Anywhere else, really.
I should of done my research on this company before purchasing. Placed an order for a product that was in sock and ready for delivery. 2 weeks later and still have not received my order. I will be taking this dispute to Pay Pal

Selection is good. Product does not ship within outlined shipping on the website. Impossible to get in touch with anyone in customer service. Email notifications are conflicting - delayed shipping, product out of stock, promising to email when product is shipped, and then order turns up with no notice. Pricing is not bad but not the least expensive and adding in he frustration of trying to get information, I would have rather paid more for better service.
I purchased a food/grain mill from the Cook Store & it's a piece of garbage. I reached out to customer service & they stated that since I had used it, they cannot return it. The problem is, it's nowhere up to par & is broken, doesn't work as described. I've never had this problem with other stores & rarely even do it at all unless the product is terrible, which this one is. I'm never purchasing anything from this awful company again. First & last experience.

On review of CookStore inventory, I found all my cooking "toys"; a great selection of top products at excellent prices. Furthermore, from a Canadian perspective, I get to purchase in CAD and no duty. Delivery went hassle free and communications between myself and the store was excellent. The product ordered was in perfect condition and from communications with CookStore, they are very accommodating and customer-satisfaction concerned. Kudos
It had been over 2 months and they have not shipped my order. It was listed as 'in stock" but after payment they informed me they no longer have this product. They refuse to refund me for my order still 2 months later. Absolutely trash customer service, there is no way to reach them by phone. I had to call my credit card company to try and get my refund. Please beware, this is a very terrible company. Based on many recent reviews, they scam customers regularly.
Allowed me to place and pay for an order for two pans even though the pans were not in stock.
Followed up with the company 3 business days later after reading awful reviews for this company.
They originally mentioned it would ship in 3 - 6 business days, but after following up and specifically asking if they had my items in stock, sure enough, they said they were waiting for a shipment to complete my order.
Asked them which item was not in stock that they were waiting for (I ordered two pans) and they responded both of them (ha!)
To their credit (?) I requested a refund and they sent one right away. Money was just refunded into my account.
That being said, totally screwed my mother's day gift plans. Thanks CookStore.
Placed an order on Sunday morning, asked for a change a few hours later as I made a mistake. But was told Monday morning it was too late, that the product has shipped. I wanted to exchange for a larger cup, but they wouldn't accommodate my request. Don't purchase from them company as they will not accommodate reasonable requests.
Terrible vendor. Both times I ordered from this company I had many week delays on orders. The first time, my order was held up by one item, which I requested to be cancelled to expedite the order. I was assured that item was cancelled, but apparently this never happened as the "cancelled" item still arrived. The item was cheap, so I figured it was a simple mistake, and subsequently placed a second but have again had crazy shipping delays. I am still waiting for the item to ship, 3 weeks later, even though this item is/was listed as "in stock and ready to ship".
I will absolutely not be ordering from here again, unless I have an extra month to wait.
The item I ordered is a stand mixer and it has been working well so far, operating very quietly compared to other mixers seen before. Shipping was quick and efficient, well-packed and arriving via courier due to its weight. The purchasing process has been a positive experience.
It took longer than expected to get my purchase, but I understand it was not necessarily under your control. While I waited, the product I purchased became on sale. When I wrote to ask if i could benefit from that sale price, I was impressed. In less than 10 minutes, you applied a credit to my card, even before I got an answer. Thanks!
This was my first experience buying from this site and the experience fit the promises. My order shipped within the 5-10 day promised window (about day 7) and it arrived a few days before the initial promised day. Item was as ordered and we're enjoying our product. I didn't have a need to contact customer service so can't speak to how that, but then I didn't need to. If you're not in a hurry for a product (ie next day) then this site is reliable from my experience.
We placed the order on November 3 and till now we have no tracking information, no order status. They didn't replay to the E-mail for 3 days. I tray to phone them 10 times before someone answered. They didn't reply ion the voice message. They tell you a different story every time and hold your money for more than 17 days and no order. I will absolutely not be ordering from here again.
I ordered several items from Cookstore.ca. The website is clear, straightforward and they have a wonderful selection of quality items. I received items as quickly as possible but we are in a pandemic and some items, unfortunately, are delayed. They kept me informed and are very responsive. I've seen some complaints here and I'd like to remind everyone... let's take a deep breath and look at the big picture. We are discussing cookware... not life and death.
