Steam mop, sent a used broken one and a different model, sent back they said they are sending a new one and provided a useless tracking number.
Hopeless stear clear.
Mop never arrived neither has the refund, total con beware.
Be careful ordering from this company. I received a faulty £250 carpet cleaner from them. I sent the item back to them on the 1st June. Its been over 7 weeks and i still haven't had a working replacement sent back! AVOID THIS COMPANY
Hiyesterday i ordered vaccum cleaner they took money from accoutn till now they didn't send me any email or not giving any reply of my email or phone call. Beware of this fraud company.
I wanted a Braun steam generator iorn but a over £200 a tad too expensive. I went on Google in hunt for a Braun to my delight I saw one for £99.00 I did a bit of a search about the Merchant that advertised it.one Direct Vacuum these boys really play hard. Firstly they never answer the phone, the reply to one email out of12 or more not telling me where the Braun that I spent the day it was supposed to come is only to tell me that their phones are down. Cut to the chase I peppered them with emails with some really fruity swearing. Door bell rang yesterday a courier grinning at me box in hand before I could say Bob is your uncle he bolted to his van, gone. Then only me a £49.00 Tefal opened the beat up box and it stank. Phoned straight away same old same old woman telling me not to hang up because an agent will be with you soon. Their returns policy reads like a scammers charter. I will be sending it back tomorrow will also have a chat with trading standards I am sure what they did in really off the scale. Ho can they thank you for the order telling me what is comming my way only to see a smelly old box stuffed with paper anda lousy refurbished TEFAL.
Absolute joke of a company, took them a month to reply to 3 of my emails, they kept the hoover for over 2 weeks for repairs stating they don't have a new one to then send a new one out, when I demanded the money back they have said I have gone over the 28 days well I'm not surprised if all they do is ignore people, then I got promised a tracking number to the new hoover never got anything send, customer service is a joke, they don't care, don't buy anything from there as its more stress than what it's worth
They sent the wrong model which I returned the next day and asked for a refund.
4 weeks later, lots of promises but still no refund.
How can a business operate like this?
Great service, really polite and helpful customer service. Product is perfect and I will buy from them again in the future.
I ordered 2 cleaners and 2 cleaning solutions; it was several hundreds of pounds in value. Of the items that was ordered, I received only one bottle of cleaning fluid, which ironically was leaking anyway! I chased for several days to the whereabouts my order was, and was just fobbed off and lied to, claiming there was a delay in the warehouse, only after 10 days did, they admit they had no stock.
At this point they kept trying to push inferior or inappropriate products on me every time I insisted a refund. For example, they suggested a carpet cleaner, when I have no carpets. I have been requesting now over a week for a refund and either they ignore the request or fob me off with some tat that I do not want. The annoying thing is that they have in their T&Cs, clearly set out, how I can get a refund if they fail to deliver, they just don't give you a refund, regardless of what it says in the T&Cs... based on my experience thus far anyway. They have had ample opportunity to refund me and they have not.
I have no plan to use them again, if you want to take the risk... then that is up to you and I wish you good luck.
I ordered a 'new' Vax cordless vacuum cleaner 7 days ago for £79. I started to worry a couple of days later when I still hadn't received confirmation of my order.
I have emailed and left notes on their contact page every day since... Still nothing, no vacuum cleaner and no response to my emails.
OK so day 8 I had a reply where they said they'd look into it. 2 days later it arrived, to be honest after reading all the bad reviews here this was a celebration moment.
I rapidly unpacked... The main parts appeared to be new, as advertised, but the floor part had scuffs on both sides and a few hairs so was obviously not new. I was still on a high from actually getting something for my money. It was charged so I tried it out and it seems to work OK, however it ran out of charge after about 5 minutes. It was at this point that I realised there was no charger.
I messaged direct vacuums and they apologised and asked for some info. After i supplied the info I had a message to apologise and to tell me that the charger would be sent out ASAP.
Fingers crossed I may have a fully working machine soon so I've upped my rating to 3.
From that first reply, they have kept in contact perfectly.
THE WORST AFTERSALES EVER. TOOK A FAULTY COFFEE MACHINE BACK AND REPLACED WITH A CRAPPY MACHINE MISSING PARTS AND HALF THE PRICE OF THE ORIGINAL. HAD TO MAKE COMPLAINTS TO CITIZENS ADVICE AND TRADING STANDARDS BECAUSE DIRECT VACUUMS COULDN'T CARE LESS. AVOID AVOID AVOID. AT LEAST 30 EMAILS WHICH THEY TAKE DAYS TO RESPOND TO. I bought a Vax Blade Ultra TBT3V1P2 Cordless 32V Stick Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner from this company. It arrived in just a couple of days and works perfectly. A £300+ cleaner for £79! In fact I have just bought another - for family or a back up. Really pleased
Waited 3 days for the microwave to turn up for it to be scratched dinted broke wrong colour and wrong make and no way of getting in touch with them absolute joke of a firm
Hoover TH31B001 it's a great Hoover I have really thick carpets it has five settings on it best upright Hoover I have ever had its quite I got mine the next day. I would buy a gain from this company really good hoovers.
I bought a reconditioned Vax carpet cleaner from company, it was sent out to me BROKEN and has been back 3 times for repair they keep saying they are sending me out new machine, they have had the machine this time for 5 weeks and I still have not have a replacement, I have 26 emails from them since 24th Aug saying it is being shipped out URGENT... STAY AWAY PLEASE
Impossible to get hold of for a refund! Item was sent completely damaged! Avoid, avoid, avoid! I would of given 0 stars if it let me!
The review site woudln't let me leave no stars at all - which is what this company really deserves... or perhaps negative stars would be more appropriate
Having now seen some other bad reviews for this place I'm not surprised by my experience with them (should have hunted harder for reviews before buying!).
I've actually received the item I ordered, unlike some who have bought from them without receiving anything, including a refund... so would consider myself one of the "lucky" ones were it not for the fact that their website managed to put the order (and payment) through TWICE so I have been sent and charged for two identical appliances instead of the one that I needed. I informed them of the error immediately, but they did nothing about it, and shipped out both orders.
My plan to not accept delivery of the second item was foiled by well meaning neighbours who accepted delivery of both when the deliveries turned up while I was out.
Direct Vacuums can't be reached by 'phone (working from home without access to the telephone system, conveniently for them) and aren't replying to my emails. I'm within my rights, of course, to return the item to them within 14 days for a refund.
Knowing, however, that other reviewers haven't received their refunds, I'm not inclined to let go of the appliance without seeing my money back. I might be better selling it on eBay and not finding myself also out the cost of shipping it back to Direct Vacuums with the risk of never being reimbursed for the appliance or the return shipping costs.
I ordered a hoover evo pet hoover with pet attachments and extended tubing what arrived wasn't what was ordered what arrived was a vax hoover with no pet attachment I am totally angry fault is that what on order sheet not what I got totally different brand and no attachment for the pet bit so what happens with warranty as they sending out wrong hoover will $#*! up warranty angry ain't the word I have no Hoover I opened package at top refused to fully take it out tried to get son to get courier but he went away in hurry should check their products before sending out I had Vax before and hated it as I have mobility issues and hoover brand easy for me to use so I'm left with a cleaner didn't order have up loaded photo of what arrived and what I should have got
Don't order anything! Iv got a broken kettle that blew my electric box and I'v been ignored by the company totally. Don't order anything from them. They send dangerous broken items.
Bought a Logic microwave in October 2019. I was pleased it the item but on cleaning it, I noticed sever parts on the inside of the door, had melted. I contacted Direct Vacuums who told me to return the microwave'. It weighed 17K! Getting nowhere, I contacted Trading Standards who told me that it was the responsibility of DV to uplift the item for replacement under the terms on the Consumer Trading Act 2015. Well DV are a law unto themselves and rather than being left with the microwave, I had no alternative but to return it to them at my expense. On enquiring about the replacement, I was told that my microwave was a "refurbished" item not covered by the 2015 Act. NO it wasn't. It was NOT a refurbished item. This was a DANGEROUS situation. Waiting for the replacement but a lesson learned NEVER BUY FROM DIRECT VACUUMS AGAIN and tell others the same.
Paid money to the direct-vaccums for new cleaner, they sent me machine full of rubbish from old customer.
When i made complaint, they asked me to send cleaner back for replacement for new one, as it was mistake on their part. They provided return label, asked to drop the item to local DPD courier, I have sent item 2 weeks ago.
Meanwhile replacement item should be with me within 2 days, its been 3 weeks no item.
Direct-vaccums keep saying Yodal have issue with their system and your item is in post.
I have rang Yodal 2 time's and Yodal have confirmed that they have no issue with their system, also they do not have any item to be delivered to my post code.
Now I have made claim with PayPal.
Direct-vaccums are fraudster one man shop keep sending you message with different names pretending to be very big company in reality they are fraudsters.
Stay well away from this person as he will take your hard earn money and you lucky might end up with someone's use dirty full of rubbish hoover...
