Doordash didn't recognize a valid gift card that I applied to an order. OK, I cancelled the order and received an email confirmation of that confirmation. Doordash did not cancel the order with the local company and charged my card. I cancelled for that reason within 1 minute of placing the order and they only refunded me for 75% of the charge and put the balance on credit. I called and reminded them I have used doordash 2 times in the last 5 years and will never use them again...no desire to engage from their side so I will call this out to my bank as FRAUD, which it truly is. Bogus for doordash to rely on draconian "fix the glitch" methods to make money. Wish I could give them zero stars.
My order was left about 50 feet away from my door. The dasher may have just opened a window and dropped my order on my driveway!

Door dash has deliberately set up a system where they can keep a lot of your refunds. Their driver spilled an expensive drink & made a mess in a building on his way to me. He didn't try to clean it up. He didn't report it as he said he would. I heard him yelling violent foul language at himself in because he forgot to hang up a call.
Door Dash claimed they could not refund me for the juice or give me a credit for my trouble directly. They claimed I could tell the store, the store would get a refund and give it to me. This appears to be a clever way to not pay refunds. In spite of repeated efforts, it did not work.
They also kept $100 of mine today. Their system is so dysfunctional & confusing it caused me to put an order all they way through by mistake. I cancelled it one minute later. It was for pick up about an hour later. I know that restaurant. They did not start on it. They were jammed.
I had put a future order through for five days ahead. They already started a charge.
FYI, you cannot seem to really order from two restaurants for delivery together like another service does. Even if the second restaurant is on the way to your place, everything is cold and you'd pay extra. Their DoubleDash is one restaurant delivery & a thing or two from a convenience store nearby?

I placed an order that was missing two items when it arrived. I contacted DoorDash via the site, since there's no way for you to actually talk to a person. They said they'd give me a $3.00 credit on future orders. SERIOUSLY? That won't even cover the TAX that I paid on the missing items, let alone the items themselves. I will never, ever order anything with them again, because they are heartless thieves who don't care one whit for their customers.
The drivers can take their time going to get your order then drive your food around picking up other orders and you get to watch your delivery time get longer and longer.

When your order goes past the promised delivery time. You have to accept it and take the risk of your food having bacteria growing on it because the temperature gets in the danger zone. Don’t use them.

Received too many missing items and really horrible Long John Silver food. I knew better than to order in the evening. Ordered two platters, side of hush puppies. Didn't receive any seafood or the chicken. Hush puppies were extremely hard. Everything was very greasy. Complained to door dash customer service. They were unsympathetic. Refunded 3.00 on 40.00 + meals. They kept changing the delivery time. I told them, I absolutely would never use their service again. I never have since. Would never recommend this company.
They delivered the 3 wrong dishes on two separate deliveries and they compensated me for the one only. They denied compensation or redelivery for the other two...implying I complain too much as a customer...so now I have to accept any delivery?

I had a door dash order from Checkers, 30$, it added up to 19$, but oh well. It took 1 hr 30 minutes for it to get here and Checkers is 3 minutes from me. The guy showed up to my backdoor, no bell back there, I only saw him cause I came in my hallway and saw this strange man at the back door. He tried to give me ice cold burgers n fries and pop with melted ice in it. I did not accept the order from Osariemen, oh and I kept calling him but he never answered *******426. Looked on my back porch just now n saw he left the food sitting in the steps, the rabbits are enjoying it
You're a driver and your acceptance rating falls below 70% for whatever reason it could be because you didn't accept it quick enough because you're driving you won't get a lot of offers you could spend three hours and get one delivery plus the fact there's no benefits no pay waste gas money not the end of the year you end up paying more than what you are so horrible company to work for
The company has zero respect for their clients. I have been a loyal customer for years. Spending way more than i should have. I placed an order the day prior for over 200$ as i was hosting a party. The fact that they didn't even reach out to me to let me know the order was able to be filled is ridiculous. After contacting the company and letting them know i haven't received my order they kept saying " i will receive

I have used doordash for years. This time, an order from The Mug in Irvine was not delivered by Toni. Doordash customer service declined my refund request so I'm out $42 and no food. If I could leave a negative star, I would. Canceled my membership.

After last night, I am not using DoorDash every again. There are a handful of times I have gotten rude dashers but last night was completely unacceptable. This man came to my door and was so incredibly rude to me and my husband for not coming to the door. Our dogs bark and we were watching a movie. When I told him he was being very rude he threatened to take my order away and cancel it. I think he was unhappy with the tip but I generally tip low and then give the rest when the order gets here in good shape and if the dasher follows instructions. I do this because I've had so many things go wrong with dashers. These people literally know where we live and to have someone come to your home and treat you like that is crazy. It seems they let anyone become a dasher. Be careful
I called my app stated my food was deliver. I called and they said because I order alcohol. It was cola champagne from a puertorican restaurant. I was told that I had to wait 24-48 hours for my refund. No food for me.

Who English is not their first language and I told them I have proof I didn't receive it. No refund. My sisters gave me a $50 gift card for my birthday two weeks ago. I placed an order that night, waited a very long time, and never received my order. The door in the photograph was not even my door. I called Doordash and complained, They said I would receive a refund in 24 hours or less. I did not receive it, I called again and they finally sent a code. I tried to use it, even though it was NOT for the $50. I attempted several times to place an order with the code, and it would never go through. So I called again last Thursday. They told me that they would send a refund to this email address. I have never received it. Tonight I called again, was told someone would review my complaint and contact me via email, I have waited here at my desk for almost two hours, and have received NOTHING. I'm going to bed now because I am not waiting any more.
Terrible customer service. I ordered breakfast from Tim Hortons and the lid from the coffee came off during delivery and partially emptied the coffee on my sandwiches and soaked them. Made them inedible.
I called customer service and they kept placing me on hold (about 8 times) and eventually said they could only give me a $5 credit. My entire breakfast was ruined and inedible yet that was all they would do. Terrible customer service!

The fact that your employees openly post that they tamper with customers food or cancel the order after picking it up bc they are not tipped is disgusting. We pay a service fee for delivery, tips are based off of service.

First time I used them and the last time. I am livid. I ordered sub sandwiches from Cousins. Sandwiches were made and picked up by DoorDash. Nitwit driver said he had arrived but when I went to pick it up there was nothing there. It showed a picture of the drop off which was not my house. I tried to call driver twice -no answer. I messaged him four times - no response. Complained to DoorDash -no refund. So someone is enjoying my dinner and I am out 41.00 besides not having any dinner. This is outrageous! Beware that if this happens to you you will have no recourse. I am so pissed. This is beyond a horrible experience.

I've had problems in the past with drivers not reading instructions and food being delivered to the wrong place. But the last two couldn't even speak English, except to say "Door Dash" and "la puerta". Which means they couldn't read the directions to my apartment that's in a two-square-block complex with dozens of "puertas". The last driver was also really rude and acted annoyed with me for not speaking Spanish. I'm no racist, but if I place an order in English on a site that's in English, I sort of expect the driver to understand English. I guess that makes too much sense for Door Dash though. I complained the first time and they said it wouldn't happen again. But the next time, it happened again. I'm done with their lousy service and their ridiculous fees. I'd rather pick up my own food for about half the price, and not have to deal with all the aggravation.

WHY Should...I be on hold for 20 mins after my assigned dasher James *******932 just came to my home kicking on my front door and screaming outside? Which was caught on camera... She could only bump my request for a refund to another department and the only way I would know if I would get a refund is that I would receive an email. No timeframe mentioned -- still waiting...
