Doordash didn't recognize a valid gift card that I applied to an order. OK, I cancelled the order and received an email confirmation of that confirmation. Doordash did not cancel the order with the local company and charged my card. I cancelled for that reason within 1 minute of placing the order and they only refunded me for 75% of the charge and put the balance on credit. I called and reminded them I have used doordash 2 times in the last 5 years and will never use them again...no desire to engage from their side so I will call this out to my bank as FRAUD, which it truly is. Bogus for doordash to rely on draconian "fix the glitch" methods to make money. Wish I could give them zero stars.
I use door dash from time to time and tonight I ordered McDonald's and my dasher came and got lost in my trailer park so he called me and right away he was extremely angsty with me and kept cutting me off when I'd try to speak. I tried to explain where he had to go but he just wasn't listening. After a few minutes he said "I'm on royal boulevard" and I haven't lived here long enough to know where every street is that's why I try to explain how to get to my house when you first enter the park and I said "I'm not sure where you are", he said "well then I can't deliver your food" and hung up. Very rude. I mind you that him and I were only one the phone for a solid four minutes before he gave up. (Numbers blocked for protect his identity)

I was called a $#*! by their driver because I asked her to delivery my grocery store outside the door. The driver left with my grocery, returned the grocery to the store and told the store manager that I called her a $#*!.
Worst company ever.
DoorDash will not publish less than stellar reviews. I've had my last two orders never arrive because the restaurant never cooked the orders, but my reviews were not accepted. They also will not refund my order, they force me to take a credit to my account, which has become a vicious cycle because when I tried to use my first credit the restaurant didn't cook my food yet again. I also have received someone else's order (an order of soup instead of a large pizza) and I was unable to get my tip credited back. Why should this dasher get a tip when he didn't do his job?

Ordered from Denny's, although food was cold, in a hotel you have a microwave. Food was good. Had to go to registration to pick up my food. My room was the farthest away. If I wanted to pick up I would have chosen pick up.
I am very disappointed in this company. I was just on their website getting ready to place an order to a restaurant that I had a menu for. On the menu, one of the items I wanted was $7.99, on the DoorDash website, it was $11.49. Another item I was going to purchase was $20.00 on the menu. On the DoorDash website it was $28.99. This is upcharging at it's worst; especially during this Covid-19 pandemic. It seems all their prices on all their items have this large increase per item. Plus, they then charge a service fee and a delivery fee. If you can, please check on the internet for the restaurant you are wanting to order from and compare prices before placing your order with this company.
Last night I decided to give DoorDash a try. I ordered from a local restaurant and was originally quoted my food would be here in 30 minutes. I have worked in the restaurant business my whole life so I understand it can take longer than quoted, but I placed my order at 840 pm. At 9:25 I recieved a text from the company stating the driver was still on the way to the restaurant and my delivery would arrive by 9:44 pm. At 10:10 pm (I wasnt even hungry at this point anymore) I FINALLY got a call that the driver had arrived at the restaurant and that they were now closed. So I waited over an hour and 15 minutes for food i never recieved, i asked for a refund and was told it would take 5-7 business days to be back in my account. I am very disappointed in the service of this company. Dont they know that the restaurant closed at 10? Why did it take the driver an hr and a half to pick up the food? Next time I'll just order from Papa Ginos!
Food never arrived! Waited on hold for over 15 minutes only to have them hang up on me. I called the restaurant and they said it was picked up. Called the doordash number again, but the wait was over 30 minutes. In the meantime, I have to deal with my HANGRY family. I tried to cancel the order, but it would not let me click the option. I called the phone number for the dasher and the automated msg said that they were trying to locate a new dasher. An hour after food was supposed to be delivered, we had to go get food from somewhere else. I eventually got an email that said they would refund my money, and they did. I used to have good experiences with doordash, but the last 2 orders have made it so that I will never use them again. I will also spread the word about this awful company!
Driver called me because he couldn't find my address. Gave it to him and ten minutes later he texted me and said he still couldn't find it so he left it a house 2 miles away from me without even verifying it was the correct address. When I contacted Door Dash for a refund, they told me it would take 5 to 7 business days to issue it. The driver also lied about ever talking to me about my address. Use Grubhub.
Dreadful. Driver did not call when arriving at apartment as requested and when I called he had driven to wrong address. When I corrected, driver said he couldn't drive to my address and the order was cancelled. However, I was charged for the food and no refund would be given. Disgusted with their service and customer service.
Up until today, my experience with Doordash has actually been really good. I order a minimum once a week and on the rare exception my order was messed up, I would either get a partial refund or re-delivery. I have Dashpass to save money. Made a mistake and changed from monthly to yearly, Called customer service and asked to get yearly refunded($100.00) and go back to monthly($9.99). The rep confirmed I was back on monthly. I ordered 5 times after that and tonight I opened the app and it said, I could have saved $46.00 with Dashpass. I was like I have Dashpass. I looked into it and I was never placed back on the plan so I paid all the fees. Called and asked for at least half that back since their rep made the mistake and was told $10.00 was all they could do and then I could resign up for Dashpass... there would go my $10.00 credit. I did not resign up as Hulu is giving 6 months free with Uber Eats. Very disappointing to a loyal customer.

They hire disreputable delivery people, they don't deliver, I ask for redelivery and get a credit.y family can't eat a credit. Delivery never received. Dasher very rude to the apartment manager. She left left my food on the managers door stating that there were too many old people and she did not have a mask. Manager states she was very rude. I reported this to door dash but they were very short with me since I didn't order directly from them. (The restaurant used them) I reported door dash to the restaurant and they gave me a full refund. I also left a scathing message to this particular person.
I ordered food. The food delivered was not was I ordered and an item was missing. I complained and they did not credit my credit card. They only gave me a "credit" against future orders. Why would I ever order from them again when they can't get an order right in the first place. DO NOT USE THEM.

Ordered a piece of cheesecake from yogen fruz(10 mins away) and it said it would take 35-45 mins. After about 45 mins I got a text saying it was picked up and on the way to me. 2 minutes later i get another text saying my order has been cancelled. Waited an hour and paid 13$ for a piece of cheesecake that never ended up coming.
The Door dash driver delivered my medications (5 total) to the wrong apartment in my complex. She said a woman told her she was me and supposedly signed for it. Then she even said she went back to the apartment to retrieve my order but no one was home. The next day I found out that the apartment was vacant for at least a week. She ended up leaving my order inside a vacant apartment. She obviously lied about someone signing for it, going back to retrieve my order etc. I got no real help from door dash. If I hadn't done all the research, which took me 24 hours and a tremendous amount of stress, I would never have gotten my meds back. I only use door dash cuz that's who my pharmacy uses for delivery. Suffice it to say I will NEVER order anything from them. If I could give them a negative star, I would.
Contacted them about not having received my refund on November 9th and they told me "it shows on our end it has been paid". My bank stated otherwise and I told them that and they did not care. My bank verified that NO refund was ever sent and they still refused to issue a credible refund. Never ever again will I ever use my personal bank card on their site. They lie about their refunds and will not give you what is rightfully yours even after verification from your bank about you not receiving a refund from them in any dollar amount.
I have tried to reach Doordash for months trying to resolve a Dashpass monthly charge because I did not authorize the charge and I have not been able to fix this, today a representative has able to see the problem, replied I would get reimburse only two months and closed the chat without allowing to answer or ask any questions. I been having this unauthorized charged since August, 2020 and no one is able to fix this. Terrible services. Doordash has not taken responsibility nor have they helped get this discontinue and reimburse me every month they have been deducting from my credit card without my authorization.
I placed an order and waited over 2 hours before I was informed by the doordash driver that he didn't have a working car today. Why would DoorDash allow you to place and pay for an order that can't be fulfilled. The Help options on Doordash are not helpful at ALL and there's absolutely no contact information available except the driver's number which is useless. I will never use or recommend Doordash ever again! Poor app design, lack of communication, and UNRELIABLE!
Order doordash from frisch's didnt get half of are order called them to tell them then they expect me to turn around and pay another delivery free the lady on the phone was a pure $#*!. I wouldn't recommend door dash horrible costumer service.
Door Dash SUCKS! I received food that was raw and inedible and they hid behind "policy" and wouldn't reimburse! Absolute crap! This service sucks! And they're customer service is the worst I've ever experienced! They couldn't even tell me what "policy" doesn't let them reimburse for food that's inedible! Use any other service! This one sucks!

Never received my initial order tonight, called and was promised a prompt re-delivery. Tracker showed my re-delivery dasher going away from my house after leaving the restaurant, ended up 20 miles away. Never got either order, cancelled the order

How useless is DoorDash let me show you. I placed an order 1.5 hrs it took to get to me. The order was not edible. I get a slap in the face of, "oh we gave u a lowsy $10 credit you shld be grateful " your as useful as tits on a bull... let alone you raise the concern & oh n what's that your staff don't want to do their job so they end the chats 5 fkn people it took to lodge my complaint. FUKN USELESS
