Doordash didn't recognize a valid gift card that I applied to an order. OK, I cancelled the order and received an email confirmation of that confirmation. Doordash did not cancel the order with the local company and charged my card. I cancelled for that reason within 1 minute of placing the order and they only refunded me for 75% of the charge and put the balance on credit. I called and reminded them I have used doordash 2 times in the last 5 years and will never use them again...no desire to engage from their side so I will call this out to my bank as FRAUD, which it truly is. Bogus for doordash to rely on draconian "fix the glitch" methods to make money. Wish I could give them zero stars.

You should be able to see the location of the places you are choosing from and they should send dashers to the location of the establishment closest to you. Also they need to keep food temperature appropriate. They are gonna poison people.

My order from Checkers in Detroit was taken, my card was billed, waited 2 hours, then my order was canceled with no ability to contact doordash. Eventually my card was credited with no other Communications from doordash. Lousy service, lousy product.

Doordash is a very very shady business. I just deleted my account even though I have Chase Sapphire Reserve which provide a free premium membership for Doordash. With all of that I deleted my account, this is how bad business DoorDash is

I downloaded the App as a driver, I have a primary job and downloaded the DoorDash app as a secondary source of income, however since I did it I have not had the chance to use it for the current workload I have, DoorDash called me 3 days in a row to make pressure on me to start doing deliveries and harass me asking for a commitment to start delivering next weekend... Are you kidding me? Hahaha, a commitment I replied to this guy on the phone, Do you pay me a salary? Do you offer me benefits? No? So I have nothing to do with you, get lost and stop harassing people! So I blocked the number and deleted the App, DoorDash is a horrible company with a lack of values. DoorDash is terrible!

We placed an order for dinner. It was a long day, we were all hungry. The first dasher kept our order and wouldn't respond. So I reached out to door dash and went with the option to reorder. The new dasher was waiting at the restaurant, I was messaging with him. I wanted to make sure he would get the tip since it was a reorder. Then I get notification that the order was cancelled. We called the restaurant and also got in touch with doordash. Doordash blamed the restaurant, the restaurant said they couldn't cancel orders and we had to contact doordash. Doordash said they sent an email explaining what happened, but no email was received. No explanation was given. The chat individual said they would pass along my feedback. We were two hours into waiting for dinner and my kids were crying they were so hungry. It was a crazy, ridiculous debacle that never should have happened in the first place.

I used to doordash driver. The app is horrible. It does not give us the correct location. If the customer do not write the direction it is very hard to find the address. Most of the customer does not give tips, the app asks for delivery for $3 to 7 miles. It includes gas and mileage.If the customer wants to get good service they need to pay enough money. Also, for doordash most of the time the restaurants do not prepare the foods on time. Waiting time 10 -30 minutes at the restaurant. Sometimes the customer enters an incorrect address and then on the delivery instruction they give the correct address which is extra 4-5 miles. Extra 4-5 miles for nothing? Sorry I cannot work with doordash any more. I started bite squad, the restraunt prepare the food on time, I get at least $15 an hour plus tip. Yesterday I worked 3 hours and I got $63. Also the customer very nice and respectfull.

Order ice cream from baskin Robbins they deliver to the completely wrong address have the people who live there take/steal the food. Call baskin Robbins to find out what we can do. They say nothing can be done I am sorry good bye... go to doordash life chat support they check and see the order was delivered and said there is nothing we can do and immediately hung up... damn what a bunch of POS's. The driver probably just stole it cause they knew door dash was cool with it... and I feel the worst about it because I actually paid 40 dollars for ice cream I never received. I would have felt bad spending 40 bucks for ice cream had I received it... but spending 40 dollars on ice cream we never got is maddening,,, Doordash is the best scam ever... they take your money period and if you have a problem well you already gave them the money so they keep it and shut you out so you have no recourse... Eff you pay me... don't get your order eff you pay me... old school mob tactics..

Doordash is the worst. If I could give negative stars I would. I used to dash FT but then I got a FT job. However my job is not paying the bills and I have decided to go back and dash PT. Well my AR is Potter low because they were always sending me horrible orders out to grocery shop for someone. Sorry they don't pay enough for me to shop for someone. My AR was supposed to be reset. I ended up stopping dashing for 4 months and decided to go back to it. Well they said my AR was reset when in fact it wasn't. They are liars. How do they expect someone to earn money on an app if no orders are being sent to a person that'sa bunch of BS. Acceptance rate shouldn't matter because we work for ourselves as independent contractors we don't work for the company. We should be able to dictate who we want to take orders from and who we don't and not be penalized for it. Doordash you are a f'ing joke.

Don’t become a Dasher. Doordash customer service are liars. They don’t care about Dasher

TERRIBLE AND NEVER USE AGAIN. If I have a way to give zero or negative review, I would because they over charged me without notice and that happened after I ate the food.
I ordered with the app but in customized or modified items due to allergy. They didn't call or notified me until I got an email saying the restaurant charged me another $20 because of the customized item. I called them about a missing item as soon as I received the order but no one ever mention about the extra charges at that time. I contacted them again and they said the restaurant charged me not them. I didn't order thru the restaurant. I ordered thru doordash. If I order it from them, of course I go after them but not the case. They refused to help and I refused to use any more.

I ordered back back ribs for a Labor Day BBQ that were on sale for $1.99 a pound at Winn-Dixie. They sent me 2 small precooked Curley BBQ ribs that were $27.They said they were going to give me a refund which I never saw.Ill never use Door Dash again.My orders have been messed up many times but I never said anything before.I had to go out and buy new ribs and pitched the precooked ribs.The driver wouldn't take them back and said they will give you a refund.

I ordered Boston Market, It smelled! I ordered burger king the dasher went and delivered 2-3 other orders when i am paying 2.99 extra to get it Quicker. By the way 30.00 for one person the prices are so expensive, Then they will not give u a full refund, everyone please stop using doordash, they are scamming you, especially if you have an Iphone, I got charged 80 for 2 subs from DeAngelo's. Its absolute robbery. They dnt ever give you a full refund ever!

Drivers can not read English- drivers don't care because Doordash doesn't hold them accountable so they do whatever they want and do not care about customer. If you ever get a driver Vanessa - run - horrible.- refused to deliver to where I asked and then refused to leave order because she would not follow instructions. Happens WAY TO OFTEN - THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED INCIDENT. Doordash just says we will look into it - call store or restaurant directly do not use these services.

They add $2 to EACH ITEM ordered as compared to restaurant's menu prices, add a delivery fee AND a service fee, plus the driver's tip! It doesn't make sense to order from them, especially if the restaurant offers it's own delivery. You'll save money for each item, no service fee, and a smaller delivery fee.

If I could give a ZERO rating I would. This is by far the most unprofessional, unreliable, ZERO customer service company! Not to mention dishonest drivers. I ordered food from a local restaurant literally 5 mins away and 2 hours later NO food! One of their reps told me my order was cancelled. The restaurant informed me that the driver basically stole my food. I called customer service multiple times and they all were horrible reps (Victor, who put me on hold and never came back, Robert who did the same, Ana, who swore a supervisor would call me back…yea right! That is sarcasm). They just waste your time apologizing BUT NOTHING gets resolved. So, for anyone who actually wants their food delivered after paying the restaurant, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! It truly is unbelievable, they have only 1 job, to deliver your food, and they can't ever do that!

Please do not order from doordash. I was in a situation my family had to go hungry. My driver stated they was lost but still completed the order. I did not receive my food nor did I receive a refund. I chatted with not 1 but 3 doordash agents who was NO HELP. They sent me a email stating I COULD NOT get a refund because of account history. I spent my last 15$ to order food for my family. I even tip the driver before hand, everyone is struggling to make It due to Covid-19. I was left with the short end of the stick. Manly feeling sadden by the fact Doordash didn't consider my financial situation. The lack of insensitivity I received from Doordash I WILL NOT use they app to order food EVER AGAI. Everyone be safe and be bless

Ive been ordering from doordash for over 2 years and. I even gave a door pass but lately ive gotten the worst service. From missing items to food cold and today too the cake hard baked chicken from picadilly. I chatted she told me ahe woyld compensate me but she was having trouble with her system. She gave me a supervisor to call but when she finally came on she said she couldnt refund me. I am so disgusted my lunch was ruined i will never order from them again. It was doordashes iob to check for missing items and compensate when something goes wrong

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This has hands-down been the worst food ordering experience I have ever had. 2 orders were cancelled back to back. First one was because another "unknown" driver picked my order up and then vanished into thin air. Instead of remaking the food, order was cancelled. This was after about an hour of waiting. I reordered the same order and that was cancelled after another hour of waiting, because apparently they no longer have what I previously ordered. Multiple cancelled chats with customer support and repetitive generic replies from the agents, as well as a manager, and lack of an actual apology made the situation even better. Now I have 2 refunds waiting in limbo before it is back in my account. But to make it all better, they gave me a $5 credit. Meanwhile I had to order from skip the dishes so that I could actually receive some food to eat. The food arrived before any of this was even sort of resolved. No real resolution was met. What a joke. Use Uber Eats or Skip the Dishes to "skip" the headaches associated with door dash!

I ordered from Burger King, and my address was listed correctly on my account. The driver couldn't speak any English, and he didnt have a GPS system. He turned off his tracking. He sat in Gorettis parking lot for 20 mins and claimed he couldn't find me. I even gave him directions from there but he still never showed up. He claimed he still couldn't find me and supposedly put my food on a random porch and then turned off his phone.

I accidently made an order which I canceled right away. Before it was canceled it was confirmed. I checked my credit card, it was charged. I called the merchant to see what I can do to get a refund. They told me since the order was canceled, the transaction was never completed so no money was exchange. Door dash needed to refund me, but the rep there said they would refund me $16.36 of $59.66 of my order. WTF!? Really? No, that is not okay. They would rather lose a customer then make it right. Straight out steal from their customers. I hope they go out of business soon with all these bad reviews. What a load of $@%^ of a company. Reporting fraud on them.

I'm disabled and don't drive so Door Dash is a real treat to have handy. If I want something that normally I can ONLY get by driving I just use Door Dash... like Starbucks or IHOP! BEST part they're a trusted secure site so no worries of fraud

The dasher stole my pizza. Ordered two pizzas he brought me one blamed on pizza company said he only got one, I live two blocks from the pizza place went up there thinking it they just didn't give it to him. Found out no he sat up there order wings. And she knew she gave him two pizzas so he took off with one of my pizzas. It was a hand to hand deliver. He changed it to no contact and try to drop one off so he wouldn't have to talk about the missing pizza. If your dasher is name Durel! Cancel your order if you can. And I tipped him that makes it even worse.

Stole $80 said the food was on its way and it never was. Called the restaurant and the order was never made and would be 3 hrs late due to 500 tickets taken. I canceled with the reasturant since the order would be another 2 hrs and was not made and let the know I'll cancel with doordash after I hang up. I cancelled with doordash immediately. When I noticed no credit being returned I contact support who say it's ineligible for refund. I explained that's ridiculous to no result. They are stealing and have terrible business practices.

I received the most inane email from one of DoorDash's "VIPs" less than an hour before my $400 lunch order for an office was supposed to be delivered. An email, which assumes I was not driving to the location for a business meeting AND that I would receive it in time to make an alternate plan. Incredulous. Although not ideal, a PHONE CALL earlier this morning when the restaurant supposedly told them that they could not fulfill the order would have been helpful. Regardless, I checked with the restaurant and was informed DoorDash's excuse for canceling was a blatant lie. I had to turn to GrubHub for Work who is thankfully delivering my food ASAP. Unfortunately, it will still be an hour late because DoorDash neglected to alert me in a timely manner. I will never use their service again, and I suggest you don't either. They deserve ZERO stars, and no customers!

Tip for consumers:
Try a different delivery service, like GrubHub or GrubHub for Work.

They advertise "Sign up us easy Dash right away" That is a negative! Its been almost 2 wks and I cannot get my sign I g up process complete, 1st someone had my phone # connected w/their account - They cldnt explain that so ti get ti someone who knows what their talking about well. GOOD LUCK! Finally Im signed up after 2 hrs on the phone &not ti mention a week and 1/2 of calls and messaging Support, now its been 4 days on my background! Their reasoning- Over abundance if ppl signing up! Really Dasher you guys suck!

On 10/10/2023, our driver took one of our meals ordered from Sonny's in Tallahasse, FL. Door Dash did nothing! We contacted the restaurant and they specifically told the delivery driver, Aaliyah, that our order was in 2 bags. She only delievered 1! She got a free meal, the 20% tip of a $60 order, AND her delievery fee.
