Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
I did not receive my food, and door dash refused to refund my money. They said I received too many credits recently. Is it my fault their drivers continually mess up my order. They forget things. They drop it at the wrong address. So tonight I spent 70.00, and I literally received NOTHING. Doordash will steal your money. DO not use them. Use UBER EATS or GRUB HUB

A customer will pay $9.99 a month to save on fees with Door Dash. In the end customers are being ripped off. They mark up all items offered at each restaurant as much as 30%. You still pay fees and the tip structure is ridiculous. I just did a comparison for the same restaurant with grub hub vs. door dash. There was an $11.00 difference and I don't pay a monthly fee to keep charges down! And I had a coupon but the food wasn't expensive enough to use. I'll take the discount by just using Grub Hub vs. Door Dash. Soup at Grub Hub $10.00 which is what the restaurant charges. Door Dash was $13.00. I ordered a 3" sub at another place and paid $9.95 called the restaurant to see what price is in house, it was $6.95. Please search your options, there are many out there that don't price gauge!

I have had issues with every order lately. Most of the time the dasher for gets the drinks for the order. Another occurrence is on a double dasher order the same driver will pick up both but only deliver the first order. The last time I ordered they forgot my drink from the first order and my second was not delivered at all. They gave me a $1.89 credit on my account. The original bill was $35 for both orders) When I called their customer service line I was hung up on 4 times before getting someone on the line talking. They did nothing to fix the problem and the $1.89 credit stood. Now my account is blacklisted. I can order all I want but I can not claim any order for the next year. Good thing there are three other services in my area that deliver food! Account cancelled!

This delivery person went to our apartment building that we manage to delivery. I was heading to the elevator and came across him with his delivery and said to me get the $#*! out of my way. I reported him to door dash but they didn't do anything. Such a rude and disrespectful petson

After numerous times trying to contact Doordash mgmt regarding their delivery person stealing mail re: taking responsibility for their delivery person breaking in and robbing our building (all on video), they refuse to acknowledge any communications. They would also not cooperate with the police re: the police report that was filed. The police said there have many similar Doordash incidents and Doordash never responds to the local authorities.

I have had 2 different experiences getting food from door dash. I live in a small town with not a lot of delivery options. Both encounters possibly with the same person. Looked like there "dasher" was living out of their car. The said dasher was not the driver and the car was in very bad shape and was full of garbage and clothes. There was also a small child in the back seat. My first experience my food smelled like smoke and some was inedible. I have contacted door dash both times and did not receive a refund nor did they care about my complaints. Please do not use this company in hope they will shut their doors. If I could give negative stars I would recommend uber at least they vet their workers and require vehicle inspections. I'm so disappointed.

Door Dash is only posting the good reviews. They will no longer post bad reviews saying "it goes against their guidelines". I will no longer leave reviews. I noticed this in February. I reviewed a restaurant to let them know I received human feces cooked onto my food. It looked like burned cheese or something but the smell… you could tell by the smell! It was revolting! I was trying to post this review to let others know how unsanitary this restaurant is. Door Dash said it went against their guidelines. I assumed maybe because of the human feces part. Anyway just last week I noticed I posted another review. It wasn't even a bad review. I gave the restaurant 4 stars and put, "My cup of ice cream had a hole in the bottom causing ice cream to leak out. Other than that it was good." They aimed that went against their standards. They are manipulating reviews and misleading people.

I ordered a case of wine and some soda for a wedding. My adult son was supposed to sign for the wine as you have to show an ID. He never heard the delivery person knock on the door. The soda was delivered but not the wine. I then reordered the same night. I realized I was charged twice for the wine. I called Doordash. I was told that someone would get back to me within 24 hours. No one did. I then called again a day later. Again, I was told that someone would get back to me with 24 hours. Again, no one did. I just went on a chat with Doordash. After being transferred to 6 different people who are taught to just apologize, I got no where. I was simply told that they could not refund my money for the first order I did not receive. Ne explanation why. Just "sorry." It was close to $100.00 that I am now out of. I will never use them again!

Even if your order is wrong and you send photos, they don't care. If you complain more than one time about a messed up order, they threaten to suspend your account. Gross negligence all around, including the $hyt wages they pay their delivery folks.

I would give no stars if I could. I placed a grocery order and was able to cancel as the order hadn't been shopped yet. However, I was still charged $91.58 and they wouldn't refund me, no one would help me or do anything to resolve this issue. Normally, on other apps, if you cancel an order, it I'll say, you can cancel but you will still be charged (if that's the case), however it didn't say anything so yo my knowledge, there was no issue as nothing had been shopped yet. I just find it extremely unethical and disgusting. Very bad business. Do not support Door Dash!

Ordered 4/21/20 and waited one hour before getting a text from doordash saying my order could not be fulfilled. No explanation nor apology. I then call the restaurant where the food was from and they informed me that the driver had already picked up my food and that something must have happened on the way to my house. They told me to resolve the issues w Cx support door dash. I then chatted w a rep who then told me it had to be solved w the restaurant not with doordash. They couldn't even apologize about the driver never delivering my food! I'm so disappointed and I will never be using door dash again. DoorDash drivers have started picking up multiple orders for delivery at the same time. I sit there and watch on the app as my driver delivers three other orders and I get my food an hour (not exaggerating here) after she picked it up from the restaurant. This has happened almost every time I've ordered the past few weeks. I used to use DoorDash because it was easy and fast and now they've lost me as a customer. The company has no control over their drivers and since you have to tip when you order the food, the driver doesn't have to worry about delivering hot food because they already have the tip. I called their customer service and asked how many orders the drivers are allowed to deliver at one time and THERE IS NO LIMIT- they can literally do whatever they want and you've already payed and tipped them for it. Absolutely ridiculous.

I ordered Boston Market for one of my customer accounts today to show appreciation. Had it delivered through the delivery option which ended up being DoorDash. Unfortunate source for Boston Market. The food NEVER made it to the office. I really value my role as a small business owner and focus on dedication to promptness and follow through as a priority, and this incident made me look flaky as all get out. I contacted customer service which is a joke in itself. On hold for 15 minuets and then was met with an outsourced customer service representative that was zero help and ended up hanging up on me. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment b/c I then proceeded to contact DoorDash's corporate Facebook and was given a cookie cutter response that was either from a bot or a copy pasted script from an outsourced rep.

Their website is set up so it's difficult for you to get in touch with anyone in case of an issue with your order, so they don't have to deal with their customers. They just want to make money, they could care less about their customers or the employees that they steal from. I know several Dashers and they have many horror stories. All I can say is, Doordash is a company from hell. Do not give them your money, you will regret it. Give your business to the restaurants directly instead.

Hang out outside to watch your dasher take a picture of your food and leave with it, before confronting them. Typically you can still get your food, unless they ask for proof that your drivers license is your license. Or they scream rape. Door dash is a last ditch effort, good luck and be safe to all ordering from door dash. My lesson learned was always have a witness and bring a gun.

They refused to refund an item they did not deliver. Additionally their customer service treats you like you are an imbecile, they are sorry … that they are keeping your money? They provided a $5.95 refund on a $19.95 missing item. So they charged me $14 for no good reason.

I have had multiple issues with DoorDash, however, this is THE final straw. I ordered ice cream (sundae and shake.$28.00 total), this afternoon for my daughter and friend. The dasher clearly mishandled the order which arrived on my doorstep leaking the ice cream as both were UPSIDE down. Nothing could be consumed. I immediately called DoorDash and was told I could not get a refund NOR delivery…only a $10 credit! I am done with this company.

Company is a JOKE. I placed order through noodles and company app was charged, then shortly thereafter received email saying order failed to communicate to server. I understand technology can at times fail, so I replaced order to only have identical situation occur. I called Noodles and company to inquire on what's going on and that I had almost $120.00 in pending charges and no orders. They indicated this was doordash canceling I chatted with rep from doordash and their issue to amend situation is to refund my money which was take up to 5 business days. I told rep legally they HAVE to return my money since I received nothing for what was paid and they cancelled the orders. No further offer to make amends and no order. Will NEVER be ordering from this crap of a company again

Door dash doesn't pay enough. I use a tank of gas per day and put a couple hundred miles per day on my car and work 10-11 hours and only take home $130. With the price of gas and cost of owning and operating a car the expenses outweigh the income. If they provided the vehicle and gas it would still be a low paying job. With gas at $2.90/gal and only paying $2 per delivery if there isn't a tip and I have spent 30 minutes getting an order to someone 7-8 miles away it isn't worth my time. Chump change for wearing my car out.

Base pay for each drive is a pittance. When a driver deals with local issues, like closed restaurants or long drive-through lines or orders that are not ready, the driver is penalized for dropping the delivery by receiving a lower "completion" rating which is then tied to the pay scale of deliveries offered. You refuse you lose. In a college town like mine with a bunch of poor students who do not or will not tip, this job is just grueling not to say humiliating.
