Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
The food is delivered quickly and the drivers are cheerful. I wish that they had a way to keep the food hotter, but other than that I have no complaints. I've had problems with a couple of the restauants they work with, but DoorDash itself is good.

DO NOT ORDER WITH THEM! They have absolutely no compassion for their customers what so ever. They are rude and when I try to contact them no one responded until days later and I got a computer response. The response was so rude and unprofessional as a company serving customers. I use to order through door dash almost every day faithfully. So I am very familiar with the way it works. I ordered the food which I watched from my phone. I waited for the driver to come no one ever came. I finally got the message that my driver left with the food and that they will not refund my money. I emailed customer service asap who did not even respond right away. They took my money and did not even offer to try the delivery again or give a credit through the company. That is so wrong that you are even allowed to do this basically I paid for your driver to have food and you did nothing to help me the customer! This was the first time this ever happen to me and I was so upset.

I place one order and doordash charge me two times for same order. I was charge on Sept 29 then Oct 3rd for the same order. It's two weeks and they did not reverse the unauthorized amount they stole from me. Do not trust this company with your payment information.

The only reason for one star is a hacking incident. Otherwise they are not a bad service, but they need to check into hackers. My account was used late night and there was food delivery on the way. Luckily I caught it and reported it immediately and cancelled it. I don't know what the point is for the hacker as the food was on its way to my home. I don't know what the resolution was other than getting credited and having the delivery cancelled.

They say it's confirmed. And the restaurant has got the order. Then says it's on the way. Hours later no food, and they don't refund your money. Credit back to your account so you have to use them again. Then when you do that, well it happens again.

I order from Door Dash often. My order went to the wrong location. When I called them about it they only offered to give me 2.67 back on my order. It was a simple order. I was furious and I will not be ordering from them in the future. Be ware they won't fix errors or problems for the customer your just out. What terrible customer service

Horrible service, I will never use Door Dash again. This is the worst delivery service company in existence. Arbitrarily declines your order without notice. It is unfortunate that Mellow Mushroom recommends this company for their delivery service.

We ordered a dinner from an $$ Italian restaurant downtown, we knew the prices and ordered, we were wiped from the days activities and were looking for a great steak!... at the time we understood there was a tip for the driver, which we ALAWAYS pay 15%, tax, the dinner and a delivery fee...
What we did not know is there is a "service charge" based on the prices and that door dash marked up our meals as well as a huge per meal mark up! We ending up paying 153.71 for the dinners, when the charge by restaurant was $ 127.66, and service charge for $15.48! Huge rip off when you have a receipt for the meals in your bag and you take a look at what they charged you. We contacted door dash to no avail... stay clear of this unrepeatable delivery service. A $116.00 meal for 3 ran $199.56 including tip and fees!

I received a gift card for DoorDash so I signed up and tried to place an order. The order shows it used my funds, but it won't go through. I tried to contact customer support, but it is offline. Such a crappy service! It even asks me for my credit card to complete the order, which I don't place to share with this website.

I placed an order at JimBoys Tacos in Elk Grove, CA and patiently waited for order confirmation which seemed to be going nowhere. I went to the online chat with Door Dash help and was re-directed to someone who could not locate my order. It took 45 minutes to finally get confirmation on my order that it was cancelled! I only rated one star because I had to give it something, but Door Dash deserves no stars. I hope to recognize future delivery orders as Door Dash so I can avoid them. Also, the incredible markup on prices and fees is ridiculous!

When you place an order for food delivery, make sure you know that you are actually ordering from Door Dash, then cancel and go get the food yourself.

Doordash delivery man said "he couldn't find our office. Then later claimed he left our food outside the door and took a pic of our food." LIES! I left specific delivery instructions to knock on our door and hand us our food. Our office is street level and is on the corner of street 1 and street 2, has glass walls and glass door. We have a lunch meeting and were all waiting for our food in our waiting area. If driver showed up, there is no way the driver didn't see us nor we him. I called customer service and asked for a copy of the pic - I was told driver cant send it to me. Huh? He has my phone number. Doordash and their driver don't care about their reputation. Go pick up your food yourself or use other delivery service.

We had to end up using 2 drivers. The first one gave us the wrong order, because she didn't read the order number, and gave us some other Larry's 5.00 order. Then I called taco bell complained to them, then my husband called the doordash number and complained. They sent another driver to go pick it up, and that drivr was too damn lazy to find our house, so he (ben) decided to leave our correct order on a bench outside in front of the office at the mobile home park we live at. The food was ice cold. So my husband called door dash again and told them he wanted a refund and that we'll never use door dash again. The drivers we had need to be fired. The first driver should have matched the order number. So don't use this delivery if you can help it. So NO RATING! Piss poor servive!

I ordered food for the 6th time using door dash and I had the driver literally feet away from me tell me via text she could not deliver food to me as the address listed was different from where my daughter and I were standing. We live in an apartment complex where the address is different from my address. In the instructions I listed my street address for our building, which you notice immediately upon turning into the complex that each building has its own street address. My daughter is standing outside and sees the idiot driving in a circle, as I am texting and telling her to turn on the street listed in the instructions. Her response, I cannot deliver as that's a different address. I was livid! 45 minutes later I cancelled the order and have to wait 5 days for a refund. I will never use this inconvenient service again!

This would be the third time not receiving any I ordered and what not and they say I reached my limit and won't do anything about like today I spend 30.49 at McDonald's didn't receive my egg McDuffin or my big breakfast meal or a large orange juice and they won't give me any credit back at all. Ordered a cooking grill to be delivered to our gated community. Obviously, the Doordash driver did not see the video cameras. The driver pulled up to the gate, retrieved our package, set it down next to the gate and drove away. The driver never tried to contact us on the call box. We received the email from the driver stating no one would help him and left HIS name as Anna B. An unknown person picked up our package and entered our community. Fortunately, the office folks reviewed the video and we recovered our grill. Thank God for video.

The app glitches a lot. I had accepted an order drove to pick it up once I clicked I arrived and the order disappeared. Called support to rectify the issue they said they can't prove I was there. I gave the phone to the store associate and she confirmed I was there. The rep hung up on me. Called back another rep said the same thing said they can't prove that I was at the store even though they spoke with the store associate. I drove on the opposite side of town for a order that disappeared and they just say oh well better luck next time. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they don't want to give you to one. They will place you on hold or mute until you hang up. They have Horrible Technical and Customer support. Someone with morals and sense needs to run door dash.

I was using DoorDash to support an events business. Over the course of a dozen or so orders, half of them were incomplete, wrong, half missing, mis-delivered... things like Bringing a bunch of burgers with cheese when I said no cheese for people who can't eat cheese. Food arriving completely cold. Items out of order with no communication. Restaurants closed with no notice or communication or update. They have compensation limits, but the frequency made me reach out. I was ignored repeatedly with no recourse until I became unpolite. By this time I feel I've basically been stolen from. Someone finally spoke of and promised an escalation. I don't know if it's a server error or what but instead... nobody reached out and I get 403 FORBIDDEN errors when I try to log in.
This business has attrocious policies and customer services, the whole business model execution is trash and full of cracks. Good experiences are completely hit-or-miss. So I'm done with them forever.

The driver showed up, met him in the driveway and he noticed I wasn't wearing my mask. He said "I wanna talk to the owner of the house", I said "no". He got even more pissy, left my food at the end of the driveway and sped away. I know it's not Door Dash's fault but I won't be ordering any more food from them cause I'm probably gonna run into disrespectful people like that.

I have tried to use DoorDash several times and it always messes up. Somehow my phone number and country are wrong and can't be changed. I called to rectify it and couldn't get through. I went on to chat and she said it would take at least 72 hours to rectify. I asked for some type of compensation and no deal. I then got through to customer service who said because the chat agent put it in for rectifying she couldn't help me and once again said they would not give me any credit for my inconvenience. In the past I could never get an order to be filled either. Don't use this service. I was given a gift certificate and hope I can at least use that one day. That will be the last time I use this service.

I am a front desk worker at Hampton inn. In Richmond KY, ******* and i watched a door dasher, after taking the food to the person who ordered, proceed to steal both a drink and a snack from our concession stands. Now unfortunately there are no correct channels to reporting such behavior directly so i am reduced to this. Nothing will be done this way obviously but there should definitely be a direct channel for this issue. She was about 5'5 heavy set young african american with short black hair and she made a delivery to hamton inn on the date of 03/13/21 at around 8:00 p.m.

Terrible experience all around. A dasher who never delivered our food. Ignored our phone calls yet responded via text.
Tells us we provided the wrong address. Calls us ridiculous. Called doordash customer service and they verified our address was correct. Spoke with a supervisor. We're told we would be refunded. Tried to contact to see they actually processed a refund. Started a chat. 5 transfers from one representative to another without warning. Representative responds with no resolution but says "haven't heard back from you in a while so I'm closing chat'' I was still typing at this time and it been been 2mins. Yet I sat there for 15mins getting "I'm just checking this" "I'm reviewing your concern". I tried to send my message and chat was already disabled. Company takes no responsibility. I hope I never have to work with doordash ever again. I would love to share the chat with the dasher to the whole online community!

This so-called "service" is a joke. We ordered nearly 2 hours ago and nothing. We called the restaurant and they said the food had been sitting there ready to be picked up by a "Dasher" for nearly an hour and forty five minutes. My pregnant wife ended up going to pick up the food herself, which is likely cold and disgusting. The sheer incompetence and cowardice of this company in owning their mistake extends to the fact they have no customer service number or live chat function. Just a form that, who nows, if they'll even respond. Not worth a moment of your time, let alone any space on your device(s) for their app. Think about it: the ONE job is to pick up food and deliver it to your home. We live in a town that you can drive across in 10 minutes and they can't even get an order online of pasta to our door within two hours? Order Pizza Hut, heck anything else. I guarantee you it will get there before whatever you get from these fools.

Doordash has a new scam. Your driver delivers your food just fine (you're waiting outside by your front door, and grab your food from the driver as soon as they arrive, before the driver has to call you or even ring the doorbell), BUT Doordash sends you an email stating that your driver couldn't find you and that you have forfeited the order, which prevents you from emailing Doordash to submit claims in the event of any food being missing from your order, or you receiving the wrong items. Sneaky! This has happened in my last 2 orders, and tonight I had to call the restaurant directly and work out with them how they would get to me my missing item, because I could not just ask for a credit from Doordash, given their fake "forfeit" email. I am DONE with Doordash, this is a new low from them.

I'm trying to calm down after a horrible experience to only with the food but your support chat... I received my food after a long wait, which I can let slide in these times. I received a burrito with rice from cafe rio which I do not eat rice! While scraping rice out of my burrito I found tape! I have pictures for you if you would like. I called cafe rio, they offered me credit! Umm no thank you I don't want to eat their food anymore. They told me to contact door dash and gave me the 800 number which is not Accepting calls and disconnects. So I start a chat with Jo-Ann which I screen shot as well. I was talking with her for 30+ min and while she went to "investigate" my order she left the chat and disconnected! I'm so upset that it's been a 2hour inconvenience of my life and I have got no where! Oh and I'm still hungry. You gave me 8.50 credit, I would like a refund not a credit. I spent $40 to only get chips and salsa and a quesadilla...
