Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
I'm done with Doordash. They have stood me up for the last time. After waiting 2 hours for my delivery I got a "text" from my "dasher" telling me there was a problem with my delivery and that that Doordash was working to resolve the problem. This is not the first time I have had this problem with Doordash but the service, when it works, is very convenient for me. What is not convenient is not getting my food and instead, delivering me excuses and out and out lies.
If you need your food "for sure"--pick it up or try a different service. Doordash is just not reliable.

I ordered lunch for my office. They immediately removed the money from my account and canceled the order, telling the restaurant that I hadn't paid. When I contacted Doordash they informed me they would refund my money in a week. So now we don't have lunch and I'm out $85 for a week.

Charged for food we never received. Driver claimed we were not home, never came to the door or driveway. Doordash refused to refund our money. It's odd. We have food delivered from pizza parlors, grocery stores, Chinese food and instacart. The ONLY company that does not arrive or 50% of the time gets the order wrong is door dash. We have not had this problem with ubereats or grubhub. Are you getting exact; y what you ordered? Does your pizza not show up? Is doordash refunding your money of giving you credits (which are usually less than you spent) that you have to use on their service?

I called ten minutes after my food was marked delivered, spent twenty minutes on hold, was told my dasher "had an emergency" where they took off with my food, marked it delivered, and then the representative hung up on me.

I have use this company several times. This particular day, while I was at work. My mouth was watering for some wings. I placed my order which totaled to $21.34. I'm sitting here waiting and received a text message that my order was canceled and I would receive a refund within 5-7 business days. I immediately phone them and they informed me that my order was cancelled because the restaurant was closed. I called the restaurant and they were still open. I then called door dash back to let them know that were indeed open. They informed me that there was nothing that they could do considering the refund process. I'm very upset and will never use this company again.

I ordered Italian food delivery from a restaurant in San Diego through DoorDash for my 90-year-old mother. I live in another city. Concerned about Covid-19 and the vulnerability of my elderly mother, I selected the option to leave the food at the front door and pre-paid the tip. When the delivery driver arrived at my mother's house, he repeatedly knocked on the door until my mother opened it. The driver was not wearing a face mask. After personally handing the food to my mother, the driver continued to stand there, smiling broadly, until my mother gave him an additional tip. The driver's conduct was appalling and needlessly endangered my mother's life. I will never use DoorDash again. I will tell everyone I know not to use DoorDash.

I had a 78 dollar order that I realized immediately was from the incorrect China place so I cancelled immediately. They still charged me and refused to refund me because they assigned a dasher already so I'm left pissed and 78 stolen.

In Pennsylvania gas prices are $4.60 the base pay needs to be more the tip needs to be more myself as a Dasher will not take anything less than $7 due to these gas prices both the customer and doordash has to put this in consideration as we are driving around with the bad GPS you give us. The people ordering has to realize we are the ones in the Drive-Thru we are the ones waiting in line we are the ones wasting our gas are wearing tear on the vehicles people would get better service if it was better tips and better base pay. So for doordash and customers ordering three door dash please take all this and consideration

If I could give them a negative number I would! I have ordered from this app a few times and I never had any kind of problems my food was right and hot. Until the past month I have ordered from a restaurant and the orders WAS totally wrong. I called customer service and was that a joke also! I was told I would receive my full amount I spent and I still have never received it yet and that was from July 22nd. So I saw I had a credit so I used it again last night and ordered and once again missing items so I told the delivery guy Alex to go back and bring me my missing items since it is his job also to make sure that the items are in the bag. Well he didn't and once again customer service is a joke! I hope this place goes out of business for the lack of caring about their customers! I will never order from this app ever again and I will also post this on ever site they have so people know not to ever try DoorDash!

The dasher left my order at the front desk of my hotel even though I gave him the room number, and he did not even tell me where he left it. I just received a message that it was delivered. The food was a mess in the bags, cold, and soggy. I was also missing the extra sauces I paid for. The dasher also told me he would get ketchup and he did not. Doordash support said that I would not be compensated. 50 bucks wasted on nasty food.

I order a meal for delivery and the delivery never occurred and my CC was charged. DD tracking system says my food was picked up and delivered. I contacted my Dasher who said that the delivery app had crashed and he was not able to pickup my food. Also mentioned that he was on hold for 20 minutes attempting to get the Dasher Support team to assist him. I was on hold with their customer service team and after ~30 minutes I hung up. I could never get the Chat to go through as it said that no one was available to assist. I never received a phone call from DD to inform me that my food would not be delivered due to a technical error. I was only left with a tracking system that said everything was delivered and a charge to my CC. This is NOT a way to run a business.

I had read reviews after ordering my first time and suddenly was worried if I would have the same experience. My experience was nothing like the reviews. My dasher was nice, fast and helpful. I was able to track my order. I was given free delivery because it was our first order. I was given contact info for our dasher. They text me when the restaurant we used was out of part of our order and I was able to select something else. The fee was cheaper than other delivery services. We received our order on time. It was a little warm, not as hot as I'd like, but we live far from the restaurant we used. Overall we were very happy. Thanks door dash.

I'm kinda new to doordash. I wanted to eliminate issues with the drivers from the stores. So i started using doordash. Here's one for you. I taped a note to the door, "Please knock loud". This is because i use hearing aids. I requested in the instructions (clearly), please hand the food to me. (im in an apt so theres no doorbell). I had just put the note on the door and sat down at the table about five feet away. Then i got back up and randomly opened the door to go check on mail, thats when i seen my food on the floor, AND the not was taken down and tore up into multiple pieces and thrown on the ground. There was no driver to be seen. However, i think his name was conner, the info provided had his name misspelled. This happened in ypsilanti michigan. I will attempt to upload pictures.

Unreliable. If I could give 0 stars I would. Waited over an hour to receive my order. Received a text stating my order was canceled and to call the restaurant. Called the restaurant who stated the order had been ready and waiting for pickup by doordash for over 40 minutes. Called Doordash and they said the driver canceled the order but didn't give an explanation. Doordash said they couldn't complete my order.

Door Dash is Horrible
Horrible, horrible service door dash is the worst ever, I tried so many times with y'all and your driver's are the rudest people I EVER encountered. How you gonna cancel everything but 1 thing charge me a delivery fee for a $2.99 bag of chips and NOT provide a number to tell the driver to cancel it, that's so stupid. You are rip offs and I will be reporting to EVERY site I can. I paid over $4 dollars for the driver to cancel ALL my items but one small bag of chips charge 2.99 for the chips and 4.99 to deliver and are sitting on 13 dollars of my money for 3 days.
Tip for consumers:
Do NOT use DoorDash! They don't care about their customers, and I tried at least 6 times they always do something to mess up each and every single time and now I have to wait 3 days to even get my money back.

Someone stole then used my credit card information on Doordash. Called Doordash, put on hold up to 2 hours. Had person transfer me 10 times. Finally got to a person who repeatedly asked for my username as I repeated I WAS NOT A DOORDASH customer and my credit card was stolen/used. The woman could not find my charge though I said it's funny that it is on my bank account as being withdrawn. Woman hung up on me after an hour of her "searching" for this charge. Gaslighting specials for sale on Doordash.

I never received my order and the person I was messaging through the app, stated they were going to return my money and I never received my return back to my bank account. And still I have not got it back this was since March 2020. Some dasher got free food worth $78.00 and the company rob me of my money.

I wish I can rate this company a 0. I placed an order for my family and the driver dropped my order off some where else. I called support and they told me they couldn't issue me a refund because my account was flagged for being compensated once before because of same situation. I even tried calling the driver and texting but they never answered. I have Ring and pictures that the driver took that doesn't match my house. They said they to have to do another investigation. This is totally ridiculous and I will never use them again. I spent 70$ for them to say I can't have my money is crazy. I have to suffer because the driver wasn't paying attention but they got paid and some one else got to eat and I'm just $#*! Out.

I pay for the dash pass and I tip well. I use doordash a good 3-4 times a week during work. I have had nothing but issues for the past 4 orders. This is not counting the previous ones.
There are issues with the app., drivers and communications.
I have not been able to rate anything via the app for some time now. It just won't click.
Drivers are forgetting items ordered. Or just flat out not checking the receipt or notes.
Tipping prior is not a good idea. I tip well, and when I get my meal without my drink and or full meal, it is frustrating. I still tip well because it is unfair to punish others. I cannot seem to change a tip either. Tipping should be done after, like any other business.
The gps and messages are not in sync. I have tried to catch the dasher in time to bring it up, but they are always gone before I make it. (Covid time. No hand offs)
I appreciate this app for the convenience, but I pay too much to not be satisfied.

I ordered from a fast food restaurant via doordash. For almost 45 minutes, I saw one dasher was assigned to the order. It seemed the dasher was spending a very long time at the restaurant. Right at the time my order was supposed to have been delivered at my house, all of a sudden, it changed the name of the dasher. This dasher is now apparently 'on the way' to the restaurant to get my order, and has been for the past half hour. I tried to cancel the order as it is taking a ridiculously long time to get my order, but door dash says I cannot cancel my order at this time as 'the dasher already has my order and is on the way'.
It has taken over an hour, and I still don't have my food yet, for me to get a fast food order for a restaurant barely three miles from my home.

The dispatcher(?) called me past the time my pizza was due; she was very difficult to understand, and she gave me several different stories: deliverer couldn't find the area, wanted an apartment number (it's a house), then I was told that she didn't know where to deliver it. What? Then, I get a call from the deliverer and she said there was no house number given. That's not how I sent in the information; my house number was the first thing I entered; they could not just have the street and not the number. Then, I gave her the house number and I went to my door (she didn't seem to know what a door was, either) to meet her--and I watched her go to the wrong house. She told me she had the wrong address.
This was the most slipshod delivery business I'd ever encountered. And, my pizza was ice cold.

Never risk your time and money with doordash, I ordered Walmart grocery and some urgent purchases, driver came to my address but wrong door. And after I gave him the address, he left without delivering my purchases, and when I called him, he said stop contacting me, I was shocked and called doordash and they left me on hold for an hour and then they said that Walmart will refund you.

Orders are frequently over an hour late. I ordered pizza from the block right behind me when I had a broken foot. Over an hour, no pizza. Dasher was double, triple? Dashing. Passed my house. Was in other towns. What am I going to do with ice cold pizza? Tonight I ordered chips and dip…yes, just chips and dips. 20 minutes. Over an hour and a half later no chips and dip. Had to cancel, no idea when it was coming. So I got a refund but no dinner. Where's the chips and dip? According to customer service they were returned to the restaurant. Eew. What I'd like for the frustration and trouble is my food and a refund. This happens frequently. I always have dashers leave the food without telling me. On the steps in the freezing cold winter. Knocked over, drink spilled. One time everything in the bag was laid out across the entire front steps and the dasher is snapping photos on his phone like a photographer. Let's try Ubereats.
