Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
I ordered food from DoorDash. Food never arrived but they still charged my Visa. When I call to get my money back, customer service hung up on me.

On 6/29/2023 AND THIS IS NOT, NOT THE FIRST TIME, PROBABLY THE 7TH, I placed an order with Door Dash and the delivery person, DID NOT RING THE BELL, DID NOT LOOK AT THE NOTES AND LEFT MY FOOD ON THE GROUND. This happens WAY TOO OFTEN WITH DOOR DASHERS AND DOOR DASH DOES NOT PROPERLY TRAIN THEIR DELIVERY DRIVERS TO BE CORDIAL, RING THE BELL AND AND PEOPLE THEIR FOOD. NO ONE, NO ONE SHOULD BE PICKING FOOD, FOOD OFF OF THE GROUND AND NOT KNOWING IT WAS THERE BECAUSE THE DASHER IS TOO RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TO RING THE BELL AND HAND IT TO THE PERSON THAT THEY WANT THIS GREAT TIP FROM. THIS HAS HAPPENED SO MANY TIMES WITH MY ORDERS AND THAT IS WHY I AM WRITING THIS COMPLAINT. DOOR DASH, TRAIN YOUR DRIVERS PROPERLY, THIS IS INSANE. NO ONE WANTS FOOD THAT HAS BEEN LEFT ON THE GROUND AND NO ONE WANTS COLD FOOD OR NOT TO BE NOTIFIED THEIR FOOD IS AT THE DOOR.

On October 8th, I ordered Chicken Enchiladas with Queso, beans and a coke from On The Border. I got the wrong order and it was a dried out shell with hard dried out cheese and chili on it. The beans and rice were cold and looked like they had been sitting around for days. It also had half a taco shell that had been eaten off. The coke was also 2/3 full as though someone drank from it and it had nothing to cover the lid. The food was trash and unfit to eat. I texted the DoorDasher to come back immediately and put the food outside with the trash. They did not come back to get it. However when I went to the DoorDash site to ask for my money back but they only offered 1 option of a credit on my next order. They gave no option for me to receive my money back. They only gave a credit on the next order. Next Order?. I don't want to order again from a restaurant I disliked. I don't want a next order. I chatted and advised them that I wanted my money back and not a credit on a future order. I am seeking to get my money refunded to me. I contacted them by chat and they refuse to fix it. They also filter reviews and post very few 1's. They did not post my review in the app.

I placed my order before 8 pm yesterday for 2 popcorn shrimp combos and a family chicken meal for easter dinner with my family. What I received was two chicken sandwich small meals to feed everyone. I immediately talked to the door dash delivery person and was told just file a complaint. However then I got a hold of door dash I was told I was being credited 15 something and $10 and my correct order would be redelivered. An hour later and still no food then I got a hold of door dash again and was told oops no redelivery was even ordered on their end. Then it was reordered a 3rd time. Another hour later was told there were no dashers available and my order was just sitting waiting. I canceled it. Here is my real issue. Right after I got the wrong order popeye's closed at 9. But no one from door dash could tell me that instead they kept us waiting until after 10 pm for food that I paid over $60 for. I used door dashquite often several times a week and I will no longer use service again! What happened to taking accountability for mistakes? What happened to taking care of your customers!

DESPICABLE company! I ordered from Buffalo Wild Wings on Sat. And they used Door Dash as their delivery service. We received our food about 35 mins AFTER it had been picked up, as the Dasher drove 20 mins in the complete OPPOSITE DIRECTION of our house, AFTER picking up our food! It was COLD from sitting in the Door Dasher's car the entire time! When I called to complain to Door Dash about it, they kept me on and off hold for almost an hour. Finally, they got back to me saying that the RESTAURANT was willing to refund me for the inconvenience, if I'd call them after our call... even though it was DOOR DASH'S fault! The restaurant was great! They had the order out in 10 mins and I'm sure it would've been great if delivered hot! Why would Door Dash make the MERCHANT pay for THEIR OWN MISTAKE?! Finally, the cust. Service rep refused to allow me to speak with a higher authority, and then refused to hang up the phone, so that i could take their after- call survey! I am DISGUSTED w/their policies! NOT EVEN WORTH the promos!

Just stay far away! Trust! They also CONSTANTLY have technical issues with ordering, in addition to having such poor customer service practices. I've read that people often spend many HOURS just trying to process an order through their app as well as affiliate apps. Not worth the stress.

Today I placed an order Through Door Dash to pick up an order from a local restaurant. I indicated that I wanted my order handed to me as opposed to being left at my door. The reason I wanted it handed to me is because I live in an apartment building and leaving my order at the door to the apartment building is unacceptable. I I also asked that I be notified when my order was picked up from the restaurant, I could get to a place to receive the order. While waiting to be notified, I received a text saying that my order had been delivered. However, no one notified me when and where I might find my order. I tried calling the driver Sarah who did not get back to me. I contacted the company to file a complaint, and I was reassured by their claim: Certified Experts are available 24/7 to answer your questions in minutes. Unlimited Chats. Chat with Certified Experts until you are satisfied. Experienced Experts. All Experts have relevant experience to address your situation

I ordered food from a restaurant via Door Dash and when my order was completed I was automatically charged a tip for the driver. I went to change the amount and I accidently cancelled my order. Notified Door Dash and they were extremely rude and said I couldn't get my money back for the food just for the tip and tax. I then continued to complain and they wouldn't refund the money back on my credit card only a Door Dash Credit. Door Dash insisted it was my fault because I canceled the order. I explained it was an accident only to correct the tip amount for the driver and Door Dash REFUSED to correct it. DO NOT ORDER through DOORDASH.

Worst business in the country! Their site sucks so bad. Lag times and touchy. Takes 20 minutes to make one order. I hate it. Food is expensive and cold. Missing items are common. Expect to call in an average of 5 times for one situation.
This morning I had to call 28 times, and I still got no resolution. They sent me a 50 percent promo code. They never work so I spent 2 hours calling into these uneducated idiots. Most don't speak English. They must live in 3rd world countries with mud huts, incest and flies. They are stupid. They ask the same question 5 times and still get the answer wrong
I get to call them foul names and thru have to take it. Haha. They gave me 8 bucks back on a 15 dollar order. So I have figured out how to get twice the credit I wanted. Ha ha Those idiots don't know who they're dealing with. They like it when their dad's inappropriately touch.

I ordered through the Denny's app at 9:53 this morning. At 10:03 I received a confirmation that Door Dash was handling the order alonf with a tracking link. I even received a text from "Jose" the "Dasher". The order was supposed to arrive at my location 10:37. At 10:38, I clicked the link to see where "Jose" might be and it said he was on his was to the restaurant (?!). At 10:48, I received a Door Dash notification that my order had been cancelled "due to an unexpected issue experienced by the Dasher." When I tried to reach out to "Jose" I received and automated "We're trying to find another Dasher" response. So I called the restaurant. I was told that the food had been picked up "a while ago" and that a woman picked up the food, but they had sent three different people to get the order. So I called Door Dash Customer support and was told that the restaurant would have to call because I placed the order through the Denny's app! I asked why and they said because it was hamdled through a different department. So I asked to be transferred to that department and the agent said she couldn't because I didn't have the merchant's credentials for that department to be able to address it. So I called the restaurant again. The manager told me she would take care of it, but, in the meantime, she would replace the order and have one of her employees bring it to me, bypassing Door Dash altogether. Denny's gets 5 stars. Door Dash would get less than 1, if I could!

Haven't used my account in a long time, so decided to order some supper tonight. Chose what hubby and I wanted, so I tried to log in with my Google account. Couldn't do that. Tried with my Facebook account. Nope. So, changed my password because I forgot the old one, and tried to log in. Doordash said my account was deactivated. Ok, so... I tried to make a new account. Doordash said there's already an account with my email address. Ok, how can there be an account if that account was deactivated? And not by me, either. I stared a chat with a rep. Rep sends me to another rep. They ask if my name is So And So. Um, NO! I guess someone else used my email to open and deactivate an account. So, I get sent to another rep... then to some "expert" or whatever. Nothing is getting solved, and I'm being sent to every Abu Bubu out there. So yeah, I wasted a half hour, maybe longer, on these morons that don't know how to do their freaking job! We only wanted a few things from McD's for our supper because hubby wanted their fries and I wanted a fish sandwich and a couple sodas. But nope, not tonight. And when hubby tried to set up an account with his name and email address, he got to a site that said it couldn't find the sign-up for Doordash... OMFG! Doorcrap needs to go out of business and STAY OUT. I've dealt with horrible service, but this one takes the cake!

I ordered pizza from Marco's, using DoorDash, and it was picked up by Anesha. Shortly after, I received a phone call asking if I had an extended warranty on my car. I hung up on the caller, and within two minutes, the status of my pizza order had been changed to cancelled!
I called DoorDash to figure out what was going on, and the agent I spoke with said the delivery driver NO LONGER WANTED TO DELIVER MY FOOD! Apparently, the driver was the one that called and asked about my car's warranty, and because I hung up on her, she decided not to deliver it. How rude and unprofessional! And now, because of her, I'm out pizza, AND money.
The DoorDash agent said that I would have my money back in 3 to 5 business days, but how ridiculous is that? What kind of a company allows drivers to no longer want to deliver food, after it's already been picked up from the store?
If I could leave a negative-star rating for this company, I absolutely would! Again, $#*! DOORDASH! $#*! ANESHA!

To put this all into perspective, I spent between $400 and $600 per month at DoorDash for well over a year. I was considered a "VIP" customer and offered priority customer service. And yet the company still stole my money and, to this day, has refused to refund even a cent of what their app took from my bank account.
To make a long story somewhat short, I tried to place an order with DoorDash. The order was declined the first time, however I knew I had plenty in my account, so I tried again. The transaction is declined again. At this point I check my banking app only to see that I was charged for the first order attempt. There is a completed charge from them for the full amount of the order.
I reach out to customer service and, over the course of two-and-a-half hours, had my account erroneously deactivated, my DashPass erroneously cancelled, was lied to by a customer service representative when I asked for the issue to be escalated, and went through three different customer service representatives trying to get my money back.
I sent over multiple images of my bank account showing the order number, the amount that was taken from my account, the "completed" transaction status, and the business that pulled the charge (DoorDash), and yet I was treated as a criminal the entire time and, to this day, have never received a refund for the money their malfunctioning app stole from my account.
Do you spend hundreds of dollars a month with DoorDash? No? Then good luck ever receiving even somewhat adequate customer care. If they don't care about stealing from their "VIP" customers (who contacted support a grand total of two times over several years and NEVER with an inquiry about needing a refund, etc.), why would they care about you?
I highly recommend looking elsewhere. DoorDash is a trash company with the worst customer support I have ever experienced. I've also never had a company steal money for a service that was never provided.

Don't use DoorDash, period. As someone who spent thousands of dollars with the company only to have money stolen from my bank account and zero actual help: use another service. Anything is better than DoorDash.

I ordered dinner for my child through the Little Caesar's app. Their tracker says that it was delivered at 8:10pm. It was never delivered. I was prompted to call and text the driver. I called four times and texted five times with no response to either calls or texts. I then called the restaurant several times, but there was no answer. By this time, I just want to resolve this in person, so I drove to the restaurant. I walk into the restaurant as I'm calling them only to hear the phone ringing. I asked the cashier if they were going to answer the phone. They replied no and just let it keep ringing.
I spoke with the manager on duty, and she replied that since I ordered through the app, the app has no affiliation with the restaurant. She wanted me to take it up with Door Dash and that there was nothing she was going to do. There was no attempt by the manager to even attempt to make it right. By this time, it was 8:55pm. My child was supposed to be asleep by 9:00pm but ended up going to bed at 10:15pm after we finally got dinner.
The next day, I try to chat with someone from Door Dash. After ten minutes of chat, it abruptly ended. I got the same result when I tried again. I then tried to call and was on hold for 30 minutes. They refused to let me speak to a manager and instead told me a manager would call me back. So far, I've received no call at all. This is no way to run a business.
