Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
DoorDash is the worst of any delivery of any kind in the city.
Every other delivery service delivers directly to my apartment door with no problems. DoorDash uses a farcical fraud routine to avoid delivering to the door at all every time. They start before the driver arrives by having a dispatcher text message that the driver cannot find the apartment, will wait 5 minutes, and leave the food after. They give a contact number for the driver. The message is the same and happens every time regardless of the driver. There's usually a text message or call after. There is desk in my building's lobby that has someone at it day and night. I ask the driver to get directions from the person at the desk, and that always results each driver getting flustered because they've never entered the building. Usually, the conversation starts going in circles with questions at that point. Since the only line in the script that they've been given is "I can't find your apartment", that usually gets repeated even after it's clear that they've never left their car. Since the dispatcher and driver are a part of the routine, and it happens every time regardless of driver, it's clear that the lie is process and policy of at least the local portion of the company. It's a ridiculous scheme to get customers to go to the driver's car to get the drivers to be able to leave quicker.
Beyond the fraud to avoid delivering to the door (Door is in their name, so even their name is fraud), DoorDash is the only food delivery service where none of their drivers use any kind of thermal pouch to keep food hot. Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, and GrubHub all do, but none of the DoorDash drivers even have a thermal pouch for pizza, so the food always arrives cold.
Customer satisfaction is infinitely less important to DoorDash than shaving costs by increasing the number of deliveries per driver and even ridiculously small costs life thermal containers to maintain food temperature. And customer satisfaction is infinitely less important to them than it is to all of their competitors.

Use any other delivery service or any restaurant that delivers themselves or uses a different delivery service.

NEVER AGAIN DOOR DASH!
While at my friends house, we opted for pizza for dinner. Since pizza hut was close by we decided to get pizza for us and the kids. Money being limited, the pizza and wings came to $47.47 and between the two of us it was doable. She paid with her card, and i gave her cash for my half. Well...after waiting for an hour and no food, we call the store and they tell us that the driver has already left the store. I tell her well no driver has delivered so what should we do. She says well you will have to contact door dash. Immediately I was angry, Because we didn't pay door dash, we paid Pizza Hut, She proceeded to tell me that once the door dash driver leaves they are no longer responsible and gave me a number for Door Dash customer service. While on the phone with them, the driver calls to say that there wasn't an apartment number on the ticket so they left our food on the concrete pillar at the entrance. WHAT! And she added, "there was a nice little kitty cat down there who was very friendly". I'm still in awe of that statement. The entrance to where my friend lives is about 1/4 mile from the house. I went up to Pizza Hut replaced the order, and PAID AGAIN! This happened on July 25,2023, It is now July 30,2023 and each door dash rep that I have spoken to says "we will send your money to Pizza Hut and they will call you to pick it up" LIARS!
Pizza Hut says, "Refunds come directly from Door Dash!"
So when you are ordering from any restaurant, ask who is responsible for the order if something happens. If it is anyone other than the restaurant, hang up! Especially if it is Door Dash. We order a lot of food on my job, we have now started asking who delivers. Door dash has lost all of our business in our plaza at work and people in my neighborhood will no longer do business with door dash. I told the last door dash rep to just drop the complaint, Their lies were getting more ridiculous, Hit them where it hurts, IN THE POCKET!

I've been experiencing food not being delivered for two weeks now! You think I would have learned my lesson then! So I wrote to customer support telling them the situation. The dasher picked up my food and completed the order without showing up to my address. However, during me complaining to customer service the dasher called then hung up. Customer service tells me that because in the past I received compensation for deliveries that was never delivered I couldn't receive compensation for the current order. I'm asking them politely to check the dashers data he never once came to this location. Check his route check the timeline I have screenshots of everything as it was happening! Still DoorDash Members tells me I'm lying and trying to get compensated! It's only $30.00 why would I be lying about food that I paid for that I didn't receive. Scamming $#*! company has gotten of 100s of dollars from me throughout the years I've been a loyal customer why would I lie about a $30 order I didn't receive? I'm beyond pissed! They basically told me that I can't have a refund because my food wasn't delivered too many times these past few weeks! It's against the law to steal and that's what just happened. Their worker stole and now I can't get my money back because they think I'm lying

I have had two experiences with this company- both terrible. The first was when I ordered food through them, and received it over an hour late. I got a notification saying my order had been picked up and then it did not arrive until an hour later. I live 10 minutes from the restaurant, and I checked my GPS to make sure there wasn't any traffic, which there wasn't. I never got a call or message in the hour between when it was picked up and dropped off, and the only explanation I got from the driver was "technical difficulties". What does that even mean? My food was of course cold and ruined. When I emailed customer service they were not very apologetic at all, just told me they would credit me $3 for free delivery next time. I had just signed up so I got free delivery for 30 days. I immediately emailed back and said I thought that was hardly fair considering I had spent way more on my food and my entire dinner was ruined. I received an email in one minute that said the case had been closed "due to inactivity." It had literally been a minute since my reply to them, and only a few minutes since my initial complaint. I could not believe how uncaring and unprofessional they handled the situation. I vowed never to use them again. A few months later I ordered food online from a restaurant and chose delivery, unbeknownst to me they used DoorDash. My food never came. I called the restaurant 5 minutes before close and got a refund. It had been an hour and a half since I ordered. I only use UberEats now, and out of the probably 50 times I've used them, I had one small issue where part of my order was missing and they immediately sent the entire order again for free. Do yourself a favor and never use DoorDash.

So my boyfriend is blind and he uses doordash alot due to the fact that I am always at work so I can't drive him anywhere to get food. Today he decided to order from LaCrawfish (his usual). To make a long story short the dasher picked up his food from the restaurant and then cancelled the order, so the food never came. He called doordash customer service, the first rep that he spoke to was so nice he said that he would place the order for myfriend and refund the money back to his card. After waiting for a hour for the text msg that normally comes and didnt he called me. He told me the story and instanly got mad because I feel its wrong on so many levels. I chatted with two ladies named hazel and porchia they were very rude and didnt wanted help or anything also ended the chat in the middle of me typing. So the end result of this is we would have to basically pay twice in one day for the same meal. Imagine paying almost 60 dollars for a 25 dollar meal. Please read this review before ordering with them.

VERY BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE:
This was very disappointing. They delivered me wrong item. I refused to take the delivery of this order; Doordash should have canceled my order or called me back to get my approval before delivering a different brand\Product to me. The delivery guys called customer service and suggested me that I should take the delivery of order and call doordash customer service. Also mentioned that they will tell me where to return the order and get my refunds.
Doordash refused to give me full refund; refused to take the item back; The response I received from them; I feel like I got scammed by doordash.
This company is giving me so much stress, hassle, frustration as I am spending so much time either writing emails or calling you to solve the matter instead of doing my work. This is unbelievable, Pathetic.

I decided to give Doordash a chance and order from Viva Chicken. Why Viva Chicken does business with Doordash is beyond me! I will never order through DoorDash ever again!
I placed an order at 6:45/6:50 p.m. Based on Doordash, I was supposed to receive my order at 7:32pm. It's now 7:55 p.m. The status of my order is still stuck on "Order Received". I tried to call Doordash annd got a quick-busy signal. I tried chat and got a message that the chat couldn't connect, although I can navigate to Sitejabber just fine.
I had to call Viva Chicken to make sure they received my order. I spoke to the manager, and he confirmed that my order was waiting for Doordash to pick it up. I was livid. I paid for my food and delivery and this is the type of service I get from Doordash? They take my money. Never pick up my food. Leave no way to contact them, and their client, Viva Chicken, had to pick up their failed responsibility and deliver my order... WTF? I still have to pay delivery charges, and they did not deliver! I've NEVER had this issue with Ubereats!
Doordash SUCKS! AGAIN! DOORDASH "COMPLETELY SUCKS!" I'm going to find every review website and leave this seething review. SOB's!
