Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
If I could give a negative 100, I would. Doordash tried to blame a local restaurant for something that is clearly an issue with their drivers and refused to refund a meal I had to toss out due to it being 2 hours late. When I requested to deactivate my account, I got hung up on. Then I got transferred to 3 different departments before they sent me to the correct one and was finally able to delete my account an additional hour later. I'm furious. Just use Uber Eats, y'all. Much better, seamless service and it's honestly a better developed and more efficient app.

Seriously, just use Uber Eats and spare yourself the drama.

If you don't mind not receiving your money back for items that are never delivered then this company might be for you- otherwise just avoid at all costs. I've had multiple orders recently either completely missing items or just wrong orders and doordash refuses to refund me because they've refunded me before for their trash service. If I complain about my missing items and wrong orders, instead of punishing me by stealing my money, perhaps they should contact these businesses/drivers and see what's going on. There's a reason they have such negative reviews and are not BBB accredited.

I have used door dash twice in the past two weeks. The first time the delivery was wrong. They delivered the wrong order and I am still waiting for them to contact me. No apologies no response to my complaint. The second time today. The rudest driver who wouldn't listen to instructions for delivery even telling me I would know when he is there by the gps and leave him alone. What happened? Five minutes later he is calling me lost like it is my fault screaming in his broken English. I almost didn't want the food because who wants something from someone with an attitude. Please god don't let door dash ever deliver something else for me. Never. I will starve first.

DoorDash is the worst, their drivers are lazy and they are liars. Use another service like Grub Hub if u need food delivered. I didn't get my food twice now in the same week. I was told by the very limited English speaking rep that they would submit an incident report on the driver but a lot of good that does me. No food and yet to see a refund.

Somehow Doordash started auto-populating my delivery address with addresses of recently viewed restaurants. Which caused two orders to be lost. The first one was refunded. The second one - denied. $144... They literally delivered the second order to another restaurant! Then, when they called and I gave them correct address (less than 2 miles away) they said it's "too far" and just left it there... Unbelievable! Now, back the cause of the problem. Who in their sane mind would have thought it was a good idea for the delivery address in my profile to be so easily changed?! Why auto-populate it with addresses of the restaurants?! Who really even came up with that option?!

Our family waited hours for food delivery. Turns out our driver was far away after having picked up our food from a nearby restaurant. Door dash rerouted their driver so you can never depend on getting your food... if ever. Very disappointing and inconsiderate to hungry families.

I have been having problems with my credit card being processed by DoorDash for almost two months. It's the only vendor/store that will not process my card. And DD either doesn't know why or refuses to tell me. My credit card issuer tells me the issue is on DoorDash's end. I've spent countless hours on the phone with and emailing people at DD who speak English very poorly and just keep placating me that they will help me fix my problem...which is total BS. They haven't helped at all. They keep telling me they're escalating the issue, then I don't hear back from them for a week and my case has "ended". What a joke. This company is garbage through and through.

Apparently you don't get to report bad service you receive by using door dash. I got told tonight there's nothing they could do and to pretty much deal with it. Sorry but I was raised that if something isn't right, you correct it somehow some way. Nope not according to them. I'm giving my business to Uber eats and grub hub, door dash is a joke. As a paying customer, I do feel it's only right for them to correct any wrongdoings on their part but nope, I guess they're without fault on everything.

Negative 3. The score they deserve. This company hires the worst drivers. The app sucks too. Didn't get my order and the driver ignored my calls and texts. Happened to my sister as well. She lives in another state.
So, That, including the other reviews here, I can tell that this company is a crap show.
Funny thing is, I would never use them after their app kept rejecting all my payment methods that worked perfectly fine on Grubhub. Pizza Hut was short staffed and decided to use Doordash. I told management as well as corporate how bad this company is and they should consider a different one.

Like a fool, I've ordered multiple times from DoorDash and have been served a side of disappointment every time. The drivers don't actually look to see if they picked up all the items, so plan for an extra 30 minutes to call customer service. The customer service is in India and they told me "we are not forcing you to use our service." They are correct, DoorDash is a waste of time, money, and hopes. This company cannot continue under their current philosophy and business practices.

Horrible customer service with representatives that do not know what they are doing while spreading misinformation, and do not help their customers whatsoever. One representative accused me of using 'profanity' when I very clearly did not. On top of this, their referral process often fails, leading to none of the entitled credits being given to the account. They also have cancelled multiple orders of mine on the same day as the restaurant was closed, although the app stated that they were open. Horrible company, with horrible service, as is clearly the bottom of the barrel when compared to the numerous other food delivery apps out there. I would highly recommend not using this service.

Today I received my delivery, 1 entree was missing. I reached out to customer support. To no avail, they did not contact the restaurant or acknowledge or refund or provide credit. They said we cannot do anything. This is their email response:
We are sorry that you had a disappointing experience using our service.
We review requests on a case-by-case basis and for this particular order we are unable to provide compensation due to DoorDash's policy.

Great idea during a pandemic but I've never had a perfect order. Either something is missing, the order is wrong, the order is super late, or the food is ice cold. These are all solvable through policy changes and training but the company continues to get worse so we abandoned altogether. I reported each time we had an issue but after a couple of complaints, doordash refused to do anything for the mistakes. They flag you and cut off support. Really horrible business.

Any company that utilizes DoorDash services states "once an item leaves our premises DoorDash takes responsibility for it". Do not be fooled by this. DoorDash absolutely does not take responsibility for anything. Due to unforeseen circumstances I was vehicleless moving into our new home for a day and used DoorDash to get a quick carpet cleaner before the movers arrived. I received a carpet cleaner with the cord cut completely off. It was in a sealed box but I am not able to return it because the retail store releases the products to DoorDash as the representative and owner for delivery. When I contacted DoorDash they reimbursed me $12.53 on a $240 purchase.
Be smart and avoid DoorDash. Instacart or any other delivery service will provide any semblance of customer service 10 times better than this.
Worst. Experience. Ever.

If you need a quick and convenient delivery there are so many options available. Research what you have access to in your area before making a mistake with DoorDash.

Worst customer service, no management, ripping people off and don't give a shi*! The so called supervisors are ignorant, and state they can only refund a portion of an order not received... What did I pay for? Asked for the call to be escalated, no one to help. PLEASE. Anyone who uses door dash and does not get what they paid for. Challenge the charge with your credit card company... thats the only resolution.

My experience was good at first. Delivery on time and the food was correct. They changed their policy like overnight requiring that you have 2 credit cards on file before you can check out. This is a form of discrimination. What happens if you don't have 2 credit cards and all this time you have been using one. Then they lied when you ask for help. I texted them 3 times regarding this matter and was told an email will be sent and to this date, I have not received it. The attitude I received from the chat was like they didn't care and during this pandemic, it helped to have a good delivery service. I'm disappointed.

Ordered pizza from Rays and they sent the order to a Ray's location that was farther away than 3 other Ray's locations... Same thing happened the other day when I ordered Chic-f-la... Never had this problem with Grub Hub... and they have better pricing

Wish I read the reviews before ever using Doordash. As someone that uses delivery services often, Doordash is the worst. Do yourself a favor and don't bother! The Doordash delivery drivers are awesome and very kind, customer service and all other aspects are really unprofessional they truly don't give a damn about their customers. A one star rating almost across the board? Sheesh, goes to show I'm not the only one left extremely disappointed and frustrated.

Worse delivery service ever. Please avoid this company. Ordered food and live in a pretty big complex. My exact address was placed on order along with unit number. The person who delivered food never called and delivered food to the office... THAT IS CLOSED!

Had many problems that DoorDash "could not do anything about". Like having someone use my account in Toronto and ordering $50 of food off my card that I never got refunded. Or the fact that they purposely sell faulty gift cards so when people scratch them their pin comes off the card and you can't use it. I lost $120 to one gift card because their customer support does nothing. Had my account randomly deactivate one day without my knowledge too.

Placed a large order with Doordash and had a promo for free delivery. When I get my receipt they not only charged for delivery but added a handling fee plus the driver tip - about $20.00 added to the total. The order was supposed to be delivered in half an hour. Two hours later I'm still waiting for the order and can't get any help from anyone at Doordash. The app has shown 3 different drivers assigned to the order. The restaurant says the order was picked up - so what happened to it? This is a real scam.

This company is horrible and has no way of reprimanding issues/drivers. I waited 3 hours for an order from Burger King. They said he was busy doing other orders but our town is only 15 minutes by 15 minutes wide. He could have driven clear across the state in that time frame. This was only one instance. Other times the food just didn't come until I called. They also order from the restaurant j work from and food just sits there for hours until a customer calls to wonder where their food is.
