Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
I ordered 64.81 from McDonalds and My drinks were spilled all in the bags it ruined the food I spoke to numerous agents regarding this and then I finally receive an email saying that they wouldn't compensate me for my food being ruined. One agent and I have screenshots said I would receive the 64.81 back in credits I was lied to because they never showed up. My kids were starving and my car broke down so I couldn't go to the store so I ordered a lot of food to make sure they wouldn't go hungry. It's me my husband and our 2 small children. I am on the phone right now on hold I've been on hold for almost 20 minutes. Doordash is very unprofessional and I will never order using there service again There are other companys other than doordash.

Horrible. Stay away. The app keeps sucking money off your credit card for the places that aren't open.
Their app isn't coordinated. Hard to get the money back for the undelivered food. The ratio of screw ups is about 2 out of 3.
It's not a properly set up company. If you have other options in your area- STAY AWAY.

Beware of door dash. I have never used their service but was charged $9.99 a month for dash pass that I never signed up for. I contacted customer service 6 times in an attempt to correct the situation. After approximately 2 hours on the phone they could not find an account or the transaction. I was basically told that the charge that I had confirmed with my bank was not form door dash and they can't help me. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, I was told they do not have the ability to transfer the call and it would be 48 hours for a supervisor to return my call. I would not recommend this company.

My first time using DoorDash was last night. I purchased food for my son and I however after placing the order the time for pick up went from 20 minutes to 55 minutes. I checked the app which said my food was on the way however the driver name changed. The second driver called me from the restaurant and said they told him my order was picked up. I never received anything but at least the restaurant was going to remake my order since the orginal driver picked it up but didn't deliver. When I called Customer service they said all they could do was refund me my money. So an hour into not receiving our food and being hungry because everything I wanted was close I decided not to do this again. I only tried because my friend did early in the week with no problems including my son recommending this over another company. So it's safe to say I won't be usual again.

After waiting an hour and a half and seeing no progress on a pizza order, I called the establishment for them to tell me they aren't even on doordash. I'd like to know why this place was advertised on doordash and why it took so long to cancel my order. This order was for my wife's birthday party and we didn't end up eating till 10. Ten dollars isn't incentive enough for me to use this service and recommend it to others. I plan on being extremely vocal regarding this experience. I tried responding to the email they sent stating my order had been cancelled, because "Please let us know any questions by replying to this email." Guess who got an automated response saying this is a no reply email address.

Recently have had issues with door dash delivery. Things that are usually delivery (within 5 miles away) are now too far for delivery. I've had dashers who didn't want to wait and just cancel my order after waiting for an hour. May just try Uber eats and Postmates from now on as they have been more reliable for my friends.

Have used Door Dash about a dozen times, and never once has the order been up to the standard it should be. Sometimes the order is wrong, sometimes items are missing, and the food is always (100% of the time) COLD. Which I find peculiar, because when I go to pick it up myself, I can always manage to get it back home while it is still hot. Worse yet, is that it is virtually impossible to get any response at all from Door Dash. I have completed their survey EVERY time, complaining that the food was cold, but I never get a comment, email, or phone call back. Complaints must go into a black hole somewhere. Door Dash is great at confirming your order and taking your money, but could care less about customer satisfaction or making it right.

Food was never delivered, card was charged for the food. Customer service is not available according to their automated system. I called twice and the automated system said that they are not accepting calls. So no food, card charged and nobody to speak to about it. Also, I tried doing the online chat, no luck with that either. No one available to chat either apparently. After reading all of the negative reviews, I am guessing I will be yet another customer left without getting their money back. This company is clearly good at the stealing thing. I will call my bank to see if they will help to get my money back.

Extremely poor customer service. Many times food arrived cold. Sometimes I'd get partial credits or refund. Last night entire meal was stone cold and couldn't eat it. $18.77 out the window. They read from a script and it's obvious it's a call center in a foreign country. I don't mind I've just had poor experiences in the chat and sometimes food arriving cold or lukewarm.

Twice their drivers have stolen our food orders and said they delivered them! Both times we complained and they refunded our money, but they would not deliver our food! We will never use them again. If you do, good luck with maybe getting your stuff.

From watching my dasher get lost and go the wrong way several times ending in cold food. 9 times out of 10 there will be no straws for drinks. Watched a dasher drive miles out of the way with my food (to deliver another order "nearby")before back tracking those miles to drop off my food, frozen drinks were melted and hot food was almost cold.
Customer service was not helpful. Just repeated that the dasher was delivering another order. *Miles out of the way with my food in tow. They sat waiting for my food for quite a while so I assume the other order was cold. Refunds are a joke. If you don't use the doordash credit right away, it disappears. You must wait about a week if you want the refund back on your card.
Do not recommend and it's not worth Dashpass. Do not buy.

Ordered groceries a day in advance from Walmart with delivery between 8 and 9am. Order was processed and waiting for pick up at 8:03am. It is now after 9am and the order has not been pick up by door dash. I have had to cancel my grocery order and reorder for another day because of appointments this morning. I hope Walmart can get a reliable delivery service even if it is a dollar or two more. DOOR DASH will never get a chance to ruin my day again.

My husband and I have COVID so we have been using DoorDash to get groceries from Weis market. The receipt that comes with the groceries always as much lower than what doordash says they charge us. Many items are on sale. But they charge what is on the doordash website. This time it was $12 more and then what they were charged by the market. We won't be buying groceries from them anymore like this

I ordered 8 items and they all had substitutes yet door dash said all of the substitutes where out of stock which would mean that out of the 12 substitute items i choose all of them were out of stock which is an obvious lie i just paid 17$ for a soda Gatorade and candy bar this has happened one to many times and door dash doesn't care. They legit lie or ignore you and dodge your questions. The costumer service chat replied to my complaint and said your feed back will help us improve in the future do you have any other questions. Are you for real they are a scam

1 Time I never received my food and they refused to refund me. My food has been tampered with in the middle of cov no refund. My soda from a kids meal gets stolen by half of the drives. And half of the time my food is cold cause the drivers keep refusing to accept orders that are low doordash should change this and should make all the drivers accept all the orders no matter how much they are.

I got in the mail an offer to try DoorDash for $10 off with free delivery on my first order. My offer code could not be applied. I contacted the customer service via chat. I took a photo of the promotional coupon & uploaded it. The guy told me to set up a new account and try again. It didn't work. Another rep told me to place the order and once it is delivered, contact customer service again (after I uploaded the coupon photo again). I did (it was the next day). Still no luck. Will never use DoorDash again.

If I could give no stars I would! I ordered food they delivered it to the wrong address not the one I have saved on my account. Wouldn't credit me so I could re-order the food nor give me a refund. If there is a restaurant you want to order from on DoorDash, call the restaurant first. DoorDash price gouges, taking advantage of the restaurant and consumer. I hadn't ordered from anywhere since being quarantined, but decided to support a local business. Not only was the delivery fee astronomical, they charged me an extra fee bc I added a "special request". I called the restaurant thinking it was them and they had no idea what I was talking about. Call the establishment you want to order from. It's likely they are already delivering OR just go pickup. They get screwed with every DoorDash order.

Driver Deonta said order was dropped off. Tried to text and call they would not answer. Called DD and they wanted to only issue a credit. Argued with them and threatened them I was reporting to the Attorney General's office before they agreed to a refund. I gave the $#*! a $10 tip on a $26 order and she still ripped me off. No more.

I watched on their site as the doordasher picked up my food. Then got the ping on my phone that it had been picked up. Watched as the doordasher made a wrong turn and then another ping that the food had been delivered. No photo. No food. I'm out my money for 5 to 7 days and was without food last night. Some people count on food being delivered because the can not get out. This is it. I am done with them.

They are hit and miss on delivery times, usually late. They will shift the delivery times to the right frequently. Watch out at lunchtime... 25 - 30 minute deliveries often turn into 55 to 60-minute deliveries. After dealing with the delivery debacles there are cold food deliveries which happen about 60% of the time. It seems when I give more tips than the recommended amount the delivery time is at the max or late, most often late. Then dealing with the customer service $#*! clowns is a joke and a complete waste of time and air.

Food never arrived. I received a text, a call (both to inform me the restaurant was running late), and then a second text that the food was picked up. Website said the food was delivered. Funny, it didn't make it the 0.3 mi to my house. No customer service rep to answer my chat on Friday night. Next day... customer service chat was a joke, just excuses and lies.

I'm a driver and they seem to $#*! you over as much as possible. They will breach a contract and say that you were the one who violated it when I've proven I was in the right. If you are looking for a good paying delivery service to work for, I definitely wouldn't choose doordash at all. I'm getting ready to sue them.

My driver never brought me my meal and doordash provided half the order back as credit and other half they claimed they would return to my bank. After 20 days I never received the refund. Basically I never got the order and they stole the money they claimed they would return. I then asked them to just give me credits and they said no. Horrible way to do business.
