Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended

“DoorDash = Cold Food”

DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.

Ordering from door dash and the driver didnt give us our food that we had payed over 50$ for. When we messaged customer service they told us there was nothing we could do about it! And it took multiple messages for them to even consider giving us a refund for our order which never came. And in the end they didn't even give us a full refund. The person on the other end of the customer service had a strong attitude saying phrases like "too bad" and ending the conversation before a conclusion was reached. So in the end we are down 50$ and dont have the food we payed for.

Every time we have used Door Dash or ordered from a restaurant who uses them for delivery we have had an issue.

Twice In three months our food never showed. IF the food shows, there are entrees missing. 97% of the time they are 20-45 minutes late (past the 30 minute window) so our food is ALWAYS freezing cold.

Even the restaurants dislike using Door Dash because they receive so many complaints about missing and cold food.

Calling Door Dash is lengthy and frustrating. They act as if they are doing you a favor for reimbursing you for stolen meals that never showed up.

Didn't even send the order into the restaurant and when the driver arrived to pick my order up they did not have my order ready the driver was nice enough to call and tell me then after calling both places the driver calls and said the order finally went through so no issue with the driver just the company

Two nights in a row first night two hours later after they take your money told its cancelled so then get a refund to use so next night order and use my money they refund had to spend a little more order doing the same thing two hours order never arrives and it is cancelled again and now l have a refund like come on is this a joke? So l think l am going to do a pick up order with my refund feels like it is the only way l with get my food and my refund... do not use this company warning.

Ordered food on restaurant website received confirmation of order from restaurant, pf changs, and delivery estimation from doordash. Doordash picked up food MUCH later than estimated delivery time food according to restaurant. Got doordash cancellation email, food undeliverable. PF changes says door dash has it. Food NEVER delivered, card charged for food and good tip. No good phone number for doordash. What a $#*! show both of of changs and door dash.

Wanted to order off dash for the first time in 2 years.
Try to log in, tells me to verify by code.
Tries to send it to my old phone number I no longer have.
Look up how to update my phone number... easy just log in and change it in your profile.
Um... can't log in without the verification code sent only to your phone number.
So I look it up and they say click help other and get the code sent to your email, GREAT!
Click help other on the log in, sends me to FAQ page telling me how to log in and change my phone number in the profile (hair pulling out)
So I call customer service and explain my situation, the lady says she understands and wants to talk to someone to see what they can do.
On hold for 42 minutes.
She comes back and tells me I just need to log in and change the phone number in my profile.
Yup. Time to walk to the restaurant and get the food in person.
Doordash WOW!

I ordered a pizza. The Dasher picked up my order then brought it to a location that was 10 minutes in the wrong direction. I know this because I pulled it up on google maps. When he got there he stayed there with my food for more than five minutes. I sent him a text saying he was at the wrong address. He replayed back about 4 minutes after my message saying he is only 4 minutes away. Which was wrong. When I got the pizza it look like someone had moved the cheese off of the pizza. I decided not to eat it since it was tampered with. Door dash's solution was to give me a credit of $6.40. Which isn't what I paid for the pizza. The pizza was over $13. So the dasher gets to keep the 5 dollar tip and I get stuck with th bill. Won't be using there service again. They should of at the very least refunded the price of the pizza. It's a shame that customer service is dead in most industries.

Delivery took a long time and when we received our order it was a completely different order. Nothing we ordered, we received. Contacted the delivery guy and he wanted nothing to do with making the delivery right. Contacted customer service, after 20min on hold they refunded our money for the food, but not delivery or delivery tip. When an order is completely wrong, I would think it would be "good" customer service to refund the whole amount paid. I'll never use DoorDash again.

Support is all overseas (shocker) and could care less about resolving issues. They ALL have the same script, with very bad English and will transfer you over to another agent or "specialist" at the drop of a dime.

Over a period of about 4 days I have contacted support and no less than 4 transfers to different agents. All pretty much say the same thing and won't refund a CANCELLED order. They say they have "exhausted all efforts" and then close the chat.

They must be sitting around in India laughing their derrieres off as why would they care about Americans hard earned money getting blown away on an order you never received?

Typical of the overseas work ethic all hired by San Fransicko based elitists. In the end, they will face judgement day.

I ordered two burgers from Burger Monger and both came to my house RAW. I contacted Burger Monger and they weren't taking responsibility for the not prepared food. They then were putting the responsibility onto Door Dash, so I contacted them to see what could be done about my situation. I was on the phone with someone in customer service and they told me that they would be able to refund me and give me $5 credit, or reorder the meal for me and give me $5 credit. I repeatedly asked to talk to a manager and kept being brushed off and was told that the manager would offer me the exact same thing. This food would've made my father and I sick if we had eaten it. I'm not going to eat from Burger Monger or use Door Dash again. Terrible way to treat anyone when you work in customer service.

I have tried door dash a few times. Each time the deliveries have exceeded promised delivery times by 1-2 hours! Today I placed an order at 6:44 confirmed for 4O minutes. An hour later I got text saying "order delayed to 8:15". At 8:35 I got a text saying "we will notify you when your dasher picks up your order". I called them to cancel and they refused. And to insult the matter offered $5 off a future order. Are you kidding! There will Never be a future order using door dash.

The deliverers took our food to the wrong address and just dropped it off. Never called because they couldn't find our address. They sent a pic of someone else's house with our food and then lied about calling me. DoorDash should have refunded the $80

Driver dropped off meal at front desk of assisted living home without identifying the name of the individual for whom the meal was intended. This resulted in a significant delay (75 minutes) in getting the meal to the person identified in the instructions I provided in my order. By that time the meal was cold.

So many times my food has come cold they deliver to other people and they see their tips! I think they should be tipped after the delivery if my food comes cold I'll give you a bad tip if my food comes good and hot I'll give you better tip! And that's how it should be

Tip for consumers:
If you order from DoorDash and get hot food it will get cold before it comes to you because they will deliver to other people before you!!! If you get sandwiches or something that’s not hot then it might be okay but it might come to you soggy

Look at the picture I attached from mine and the Dashers chat clearly this Dasher does not like his job. The food was miss handled. It was all over the place when I opened up the pizza box and it was cold. Clearly, he can't take criticism because he drop the order off at the wrong spot, and it took me 10 minutes until I realized where it was.

I ordered from an unnamed restaurant. They got the order all wrong. Paid extra for what I ordered. Didn't receive what I paid for. I know everyone makes mistakes, but in this instance Doordash refused to reimburse me for this.

Rude. Driver called one time and never attempted to deliver our food and restaurant called driver when food was sitting for over an hour. Door dash customer service did not speak English and was rude. I will never use door dash nor will anyone I know.

The dasher was just horrible. He uses the N word and other profanity. He wanted us to come to meet at a different location other than the address. And customer service was useless. I seriously want to get a lawyer for the way I was treated

I ordered kale salad along with my order and white vinegraitte dressing. Instead, I was given romaine lettuce and green dressing. Doordash refused to give a credit or redelivery and said that they would have to review to decide what to ultimately do. They responded they would not issue a credit, refund or redelivery due to their DoorDash policy. They stated this although a similar mistake was made before when I ordered through them - Doordash, where I was issued romaine lettuce, instead of kale, and Doordash remedied the matter previously.

My driver asked me to come downstairs and out to her car in the snow to pick up my order. I told her I could not as I am disabled. And to think I already tipped her too as they add it in. Never again if that is the way they do business

I ordered from this app twice last week. My first issue was, they had a restaurant that wasn't even connected to this site. The driver and the restaurant tried to call me but this app didn't let them reach out to me. I had to call the restaurant to fix the problem. I had to contact the help desk twice to fix this problem. Couple days later I ordered food from another state for my aunt. The restaurant got her order wrong. I called the restaurant they were closed early because of the holiday. When I contact the help desk, they sucked. They gave me a refund that wasn't even near the amount I spent. I sent my receipt to them and didn't want to give me full refund. They still owe me money. This company sucks

Wish I could give less than 1 star. Received my pizza and it looked like it was eaten and all the toppings were stuck to the pizza box. This was the drivers fault as the pizza was mashed around all over each other. Plus, it was cold and looked like it was dropped on the ground. I called customer service and they said they would not give me a refund for my order. I asked to speak to a manager and they refused. Why am I paying for something that I cannot eat...DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM PLEASE. They will take your money and try to give themselves a tip at checkout that you never click, but will add themselves.

Deleted my doordash app and deactivated my dashpass. NEVER using this app again. All I have had was trouble with either the drivers or food. I'm done using this app. Gave it many chances after each mistake but now I'm just over it and done. I'm tired of receiving the wrong food and then fighting for credit.

Don’t use it! I’ve already had 5 people delete it because of the frequent mistakes! It’s a rip off for sure

Make sure that if you cancel doordash and it tells you that you can use your benefits till a later date to check to make sure that they don't cancel it and refund you a pro rated rate and then tell you. You have to sign up again, to continue to use it even if you wanted it to cancel on the date that I said it was going to.
Basically stealing little buts of money unless you see it and contact them. Then they will tell you its automatic and they cant do anything. I had to figut and tell them they were stealing money from me since they auto refunded less than i paid, i was able to get them to refund the other bit but had to press for 20 min for.59 cents... that adds up

Handing out fake promo cards in order for you to message and they have you order and give you a "refund" which is actually a credit to your account. The promo does'nt even work. Just a scam in order to get you to spend money.
So innapropriate.
