Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
Usually there is a wait but I can deal with that. Today, I tracked my delivery and when it looked like the little car was just about at my office I went to look for my lunch. It never arrived. I didn't even receive a text or call.
When I looked for a way to complain there was an order didn't arrive section and it offered a refund and a message popped up the driver couldn't wait for you - What wait? I'm done with Doordash

I order from DoorDash at least twice a week, usually from work for lunch and dinner at home. The service is great. The drivers are usually on-time and if there is a problem with the order they contact me.

Door dash is horrible! I am using grubhub and doordash, and I can tell you the difference. Today, I ordered my dinner from doordash, and then I have received a photo and notification that my dinner has arrived. But the photo indicated it's wrong address, and I have never received my dinner. I contacted them immediatly, they refused to refund, and they said they'll contact me within 24 hours. Didn't they check their photo was in wrong address? And their support ended the conversation twice on me, just because they didn't want to refund. Grubhub will refund you immediatly, and they truly care about the customer.
Not to mention their price is higher than grubhub, don't waste your money and raise such a horrible company in US.

The driver was nice and that's where the compliments end. The delivery took over an hour and a half. The food was cold and the order was wrong. By the time the food was delivered it was too late to order from anywhere else. I made a complaint online and they offered me 15 bucks which was not even a third of the cost of the order. I deleted the app and will not be using DoorDash again. They can keep their $15.

Ordered with estimated time 45-55 minutes. Saw the driver was there waiting for food... and waiting and waiting... Texted him and he said the order hadnt gone through to the restaurant so they had to call and had just started the order... about 30 minutes in. Driver was great. I tried to cancel - the app wouldn't let me. I went to customer service and was number 300 in line! Took 20 minutes to get to chat with a person. They are terrible. But claim they're always trying to improve their service. Disaster! Don't use them! Felt sorry for the driver who was very nice. Awful service!

I can't even give them a star. I ordered an Arby's meal with a total of $57.27. My bank account was charged $80.44. Not to mention the dasher forgot some of the food that was ordered so I had to go to Arby's myself and pick up what was missed. The dasher offered to pick up what was missing and then said never mind. I complained to door dash about my service and driver. I was offered a $13 credit and a $10 credit. Not a single person can explain to me why my total was $57 but I was charged $80. I asked for a full refund and was hung up on. I have called back several times and even had a conversation through the app and not a single person will explain the over charge. I am being told my account is going to be credited $23 which equals the total of the meal in the first place. I am furious and will NEVER order from this place again. This is FRAUD even after I show pictures of what my total is $57.27 on door dash and then what I was charged I was ignored and pretty much told oh the promotion didn't work too bad. I asked for a refund several times and the corporate number and was told there is no number. I am disgusted and will be going on every sight I can with this review. Try Grubhub or someone who will not try and steal your money. I Will NEVER use this company again.

My door dash driver delivered my food without notifying me that it was delivered. He left my food in front of my house while I was home, he didn't ring the doorbell or message me that he arrived. I had to message him 30 minutes later just for him to say he already delivered it to me. The drivers name is Kieran B.

I ordered food and and got the worst service. The next day I woke up to a negative bank balance because I was charged for a few Doorpasses! The money was returned to my account but I also received 2 overdraft fees due to their greediness! I complained since I was unable to use my back account for 1 week. I don't understand if you have access to my account and this was Doordash's error, I should be reimbursed to the card I have on file. I will never use this service again. I would rather starve to death and since they steal your money, you might starve anyway. I'm not going to post any pictures because that will be my banking information.

It is completely ridiculous that my $33 meal turned into a $53 charge. Without my authorization, you charged me a 20% tip which was $6 not to mention a $6 delivery fee AND a $6 service fee? The driver is tipped from the delivery fee and the service fee has to do with you and the restaurant. I am requesting the service fee be refunded. If not, I guarantee I woll never use DoorDash again and I will make sure everyone else never uses DoorDash either.

This particular morning we decided to get donuts from dunkin and coffee for me we waited an hour and a half only for them to cancel my order. I then went down to dunkin myself and they still had donuts and the coffee i wanted so dunkin wasn't out doordash was just lazy and unprofessional

My daughter ordered 30 dollars worth of pizza from door dash yesterday. The driver Dena delivered the pizza to a wrong address, when my daughter contacted door dash she was told that they wouldn't replace her food and that she wouldn't be getting her money back, they gave her 11 dollars door dash credits. It isn't my daughter's fault that Dena made a mistake. I feel like my daughter was scammed. I posted this on Facebook a few minutes ago and I've already gotten several comments from others that have been scammed. I think a class action law suit is needed

Quality of the service, mainly the app to the merchant not sending orders correctly. There's clearly a bug in their app. The last several orders have been either completely wrong, or incomplete. The only resolution that they offer is a resolution of a refund, which doesn't cover all the tip, nor delivery fee.
No matter what, they manage to get a few dollars from you every time, whether your order is correct or not.
I've spoken with ALL the merchants on ALL of my incorrect orders, and it is CLEARLY the DoorDash app that is the problem. The merchants didn't even receive the proper order to deliver. So, DoorDash's review of those merchants are completely unfair because the merchants aren't receiving the proper order from app.
DoorDash sucks!
Tip for consumers:
Don't use it. They will get money out of you, and you won't get what you ordered. The app is burgered.

I placed an order. My card was charged and then it said there's no drivers in your area. It took an act of god to get the money refunded back to my card. I still don't have the money because it takes 3 days to get it back. The customer service rep just disconnected the conversation before it was resolved and then I had to go through the whole situation again with another rep who acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. But I still don't have the refund. I wouldn't be surprised if I have to contact them again just trying to get my money back. Never again shall I use DoorDash.

Door dash laid our pizza on the ground at our next door neighbors house. I saw that they were driving down the street and called. They came back and picked the pizza up off of the ground and brought it to us during COVID 19. What the crap. They said they would refund our money but never did.

Doordash is padding the charges per item on your order. I ordered from Chuys and paid an additional $15.34 for items over what Chuys charged Doordash. This is in addition to the Service fee and Delivery fees they charge. They are also calculating the tip including the service fee.

If I were you, I would not become a DoorDash driver. They hold your money hostage and will not give you your pay when they are supposed to. They tell you that they send it and it never gets sent. They say they send it to your bank I call my bank and there is no Transfers or pending transactions from DoorDash so I would not trust them

Placed an. Order, received a text saying it outside my door, looked NO food. Called the number she left my food at a building 2 miles away but was more than willing to back and pick it up and bring it to me. Uh, yeah no! Had to call door dash! They replaced the order. Hour later still no food, but I received a survey asking me how my delivery was from Mike! Mike who and where is my food? Callef Door Dash ok enough I will go get my own food! They were to give me a refund back I into my back account, after 3 days of would show up, well after 3 days nothing! I called them they gave me door dash credit, I did not agree to. The worse customer service EVER! The delivery driver never delivered my food. Don't know where he went after I buzzed him into my building, 5 floors, 115 apts. I contacted DoorDash & they refused to reimburse my $$. When I escalated the complaint, they said I had "several compensations" within 60 days & they could not compensate me anymore. WTF! If my order was not correct or something was missing, I am not paying for it, just as though I was at the restaurant. And certainly if I didn't receive my food, I shouldn't have to pay for it ANYWAY! Nobody in their right mind would! I'm sure DoorDash folks wouldn't! What a sneaky way to SCAM the public!
