Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
The drivers delivery late or don't deliver at all, deliver to wrong address, cold food, fees are ridiculous, never follow delivery instructions.

I have used Doordash, cancelled my subscription, reinstated my subscription, but this will be the last time I have a subscription. Doordash stands behind poor customer service. Should your meal arrive late or have missing items, it can take an hour or more to get it corrected. I have been told that I would receive no compensation for wrong items because I had complained in the past. Seriously? Blaming the customer instead of the business. The latest took it all. In an email, I was promised over $18 in credit due to a poor order. Nope. Not there. I responded to the email and then was told that since I already had a credit (from a previous poor order), they would refund to my original payment just under $3. When questioned about there being an obligation to honor what was promised to me, two and a half hours later, I won't be getting credits for one of the worst experiences ever! This is a company who honors poor businesses and still wonders why customers rate it so low. To add to the insult, I still wonder why during one of my calls for support, my age was mentioned. I may be elderly, but I am not stupid. Hoping to prey on the elderly is just disgusting and another reason to stay away from this so called business.

I had an employee from door dash by the name of Darcy k come into the store that I work at being extremely rude to everyone of my employees because her Order was not finished I understand it should of been made but are ticket machine was not printing tickets and I tried multiple times to fix it and it just wasn't printing. I polietly told her about are machine not printing tickets she was not The only driver waiting for someone's food. I asked her what was all on the order because "She cleared it off her phone " so it clears off my tablet too therefore I couldn't see what was needed for her order. She was mad that I didn't make the drinks for her and I told her I'm sorry it's not our policy when delivery drivers come in they grab the drinks and whatever sides the customer had. She just kept going off on me and the other employees at the establishment I was very upset.

I have used this service for awhile. I am a psychology major in the prowess of obtaining my masters degree. I used your service for a social experiment, which you failed miserably. While based upon the question, would I receive better service without the person knowing the reward(tip) they were going to receive. I only gave two tips out of the five I did not tip during ordering. I had one person literally throw the food at me, which half my order was missing from. Versus the usual good service I have received previously, when I tipped during when I placed my order. I also sent an email asking why I can not have access to the full menu of the restaurants that you provide, still weeks later, no response. I have since started ordering directly from the restaurants. Not only am I able to have access to the full menu, I can customize my order and it has on average cost me a minimum of $10.00 less for the exact order I purchased. Then with using your services. With technological advancement being what they are if you do not fix this issues I have doubt you will continue to be in business long term. I have NEVER made a complaint before, until now, due to your companies lack of response when I emailed you with these very concerns.

Zero stars! Doordash is the worst delivery service ever! They lie and say they've completed the order but they don't deliver! Twice, for different deliveries, they have NOT made it to our house with our food/groceries, but they say the order was delivered. They lie and charge us for our order but don't deliver. I've had to call the merchants back and have my order cancelled or re-delivered. Doordash is terrible and hires terrible people that should not be trusted. DO NOT USE DOORDASH EVER FOR ANYTHING! EVER!

I placed my order, after an hour of waiting for my food to show up, I went to check on my order. It had been canceled. No phone call, no text message. I called them, and spoke with Neil, who said the restaurant was too busy with diners to fulfill my order. I asked to speak with a manager (Mary), who said they no longer had what I wanted on the menu. What?!?! Which is it? They also argued with me that someone had tried to call me... ummm, no. No missed call, no voicemail. I called the restaurant and was told they reached out to DoorDash to see if I wanted something else, and was told they had spoken with me and that I wanted to cancel my order. What is this now, DoorDash lie # 4... How inept is this company. I called DoorDash after speaking with the restaurant, and asked to speak with a manager. The person put me on hold for 15 minutes, at this point it switched over to a survey asking me how satisfied I was with DoorDash order. Unbelievable.

Terrible experience tonight. Seems the Doordash driver didn't feel like coming out to our address, so he drove home. I only figured this out using my Doordash app, when I saw him driving the opposite direction from the restaurant. When I contacted Doordash chat, they assured me that my order was still coming. After two hours, they suggested they apply my payment as a refund to a future order as the driver had indicated he was not going to deliver tonight's order. What? I indicated that I didn't want to be charged for the order (and the tip!) that never arrived, and I wanted not only be refunded but given some incentive to use their service again. Their best was $5 toward my next order. I tried to cancel my membership on the spot with the current Doordash chatter, but she disconnected my chat saying "you have not responded in some time so I'm disconnecting the chat" despite my immediate and fast typing response. This was just the worst and craziest customer experience ever. I definitely advise people to steer clear of Doordash - their poor customer service is going to catch up with you or them soon enough!

Second time ordering food that should have been delivered in 45 min from long John silvers. Received a call from this girl with a California cell # who was suppose to be delivering my order, she was lost, I tried to give her directions and she keep telling me my address was not on the GPS. Which it is. And then she hung up on me. I looked at the door dash app email and she put in that she delivered the food, which I never received. I received another call from someone who hardly could speak English asking me if I ordered the food, I told the guy yes I did and never received it. His cell # was from another state. So you door dash has people working for them who can't navigate simple addresses and just dropping food off where ever they want. So that is it for me using door dash, rude employees, can't navigate GPS, if your in customer service business, you need to hire people, who can drive, speak English, and make sure they know the area they are delivering in. Now I have to wait 5-7 business days to get my account credited back the money spent on the food I ordered, which was $ 50.00.

Food always late. Dashers give no sh#ts about how long you wait...so I say screw em I give them the crappiest tip I can wish I could crap in a hand bag and give them that for an example of how crappy they are. Stay far away like Shrek said far far away.

So I'm on pace right now to give them anywhere from 56 days to 112 days free this year. Not to mention concerts or major holidays which I won't work that number could go as high as 150 today I sat for over four hours while I watch other Dashers pick up orders, while I was sitting right in front of the store as little as six minutes at a time as max to 20 minutes and I didn't get an order that whole time. Support cannot help. They have no control over anything and they're based out of the Philippines, there's not a number you can call to talk to somebody with some power that can fix his stuff, I was a short more than 10 times today that they fix the problem. I made $123.10 today which if I would've got one or two hours back I would've made over 160 this week alone I've already given nine hours of free time, so I've already given them a day for free because I don't get paid to sit. As you can see from the pictures below I was at a busy hot spot all day but I didn't get the orders when you sit in a place for 20 minutes and six orders go out and you don't have any of them that's more than concerns.

Went online to request delivery from DoorDash, after placing order, they txt to me Saying order to arrive in 30min. After no arrival, I called Sam the driver, he said he was still at the restaurant and would come in 10 min. That time past, and DoorDash txt me to say the order was canceled. I had NOT canceled! We never received our food, I called the driver again and there was no answer. Our evening was ruined, we will never use them again... nor should you!

I was sent a DoorDash gift card via email from my bosses for a fun work related event that is coming up next week. After receiving the gift card email, I followed the instructions listed on the DoorDash's Help page to redeem the gift card and it says that after redeeming the gift card, the funds will appear in your account as credits. I am 100% certain I followed the steps correctly and received the standard 'gift card redeemed' (or something similar) confirmation message after doing so. However, the credits did not appear in my account like the website indicated. After waiting over 24 hours, I decided to reach out to DoorDash via their Chat support. The first agent offered literally no help and closed my chat while I was typing a message to them. I opened another chat and was offered very little help again. I have saved the transcripts as I am not confident any resolution will be provided. I cannot redeem the gift card now, as it says it has already been redeemed. So, something is going wrong with their system and they just might be stealing the funds from these gift cards. On top of that, their customer service team is not offering any help when you reach out to them about this. Steer Clear.

Do not follow their instructions listed on their Help page to redeem gift card as the funds will not appear in your account and their customer service team will not be of any help.

I am, well WAS, a Doordash driver until today. My account was hacked and Doordash did nothing about it. They said since the money was already taken out of my account, they "could not recover them." When I spoke with a representative, she told me that she had received two calls today concerning this issue and that "Doordash is supposed to be sending out a notification to their drivers." My husband's account was also hacked and he lost at least two weeks of pay.
I am warning all Doordash Drivers to be wary of Doordash calls/emails/texts that tell you that your account has been hacked - those are the hackers! It is unbelievable that Doordash has known about this hacking issue, yet they have not notified those that they are supposed to be protecting!
My suggestion is to go with another delivery company (e.g. Uber Eats, etc. which has a more secure platform). As I told them, any food delivery drivers I come in contact with, I will be sure to tell them my story and to think twice before working for Doordash, they don't have your back.

I recently deleted the app. I'll never order food delivery through DD again. Not only are they horribly over pricing the orders, charging ridiculous fees, there's been SEVERAL times I'd place orders in the evenings and the dasher would wait until 5 minutes before the place closed to pick up the order then drop the DD order effectively stealing my food. Called DD, as expected customer service was useless, after explaining the situation - she said another DD would pick up the order. Like a true idiot - as if she didn't even hear me. I re-explained I had already called the restaurant and confirmed the order was picked up by a bald middle eastern man with a beard named Khalid, and the restaurant was now closed. All she could do was cancel the order and issue a refund. Lied and said a "specialty" team will investigate what happened with the order. I snapped - how the $#*! are you going to investigate what happened when you just told me you were going to find another Dasher for the delivery. They don't know who the $#*!'s delivering these orders, unless the order is completed. $#*! DD, $#*! DD drivers. A refund doesn't make up for inconvenience and the theft of my order.

My food was cancelled without any explanation or communication. It took 4 attempts to their call centre to get an operator to talk to me. The other times the line went dead or it was a bad connection.
Anyhow, no food arrived but the money went out of my account and the operator said it had already been refunded. Then she said my payment had been voided before the money had gone but not according to my online bank statement. She kept telling me to refresh my browser.
Then it was, 'It will take 3 days for your refund to show up in your account'. She offered me a $20 voucher for my troubles, which worked its way down to $15 then to $10. She refused to accept that she had changed the amount. I told her that as our conversation was being recorded perhaps her manager should listen to it.
The same thing happened with another delivery company which was never resolved. I never went back to them.
If I don't get my refund next week I'll be contacting my bank to open up an investigation.
So, if this doesn't get resolved in my favour, it will be a case of another company losing another loyal customer.
I know they don't care, but they should.
Tip for consumers:
I eventually learned after a very long conversation with the call centre that I didn't get my food because there was no available Door Dasher. They should have known this prior to my placing an order, contacted me and not taken money out of my account.
So how will I know if a Door Dasher's available when placing an order in future? Well I won't and neither will anyone else will.

I received an email from DoorDash saying I had over $10 in credits to use with DoorDash. I logged into my account and it showed $0 in credits to use. I called and they said they don't control the marketing and don't know anything about the email and if it shows $0 in credits then it's $0. I think is absolutely ridiculous that they say they take no accountability for their own marketing- an email COMING FROM DoorDash. It's clearly false advertising and it's LYING to a customer to get them to go into the app/their website. It's a total SCAM.

I was supposed to have a $25 credit on my order this evening and DID NOT GET IT. When I chatted with a virtual assistant they were not helpful and simply told me I had no credit and cut me off. I tried again and had to wait 30 minutes to get a supervisor only to be told my credit is good for next order. I told him that a door dash employee told me the credit was in my account and just make my order and I'll get it. I DID NOT. I spent OVER an hour of my time trying to get what I was told I had. WASTE OF TIME. I told them if they don't give me $25 credit on my current order that I will have my bank put a stop payment on it and they'll get NOTHING. That's exactly what I will be doing along with deleting the door dash app! Btw, the order took forever to be delivered and it was COLD and practically inedible! DON'T EVER USE DOOR DASH!

I just went to pick up a delivery, the restaurant said they are not releasing the food, because the customer and door dash have the wrong price on their app, i waited 15-20 minutes, i called door dash, on whats happening, they called the restaurant, the agent came back on the line and told me the food is ready, i walk in the reataurant is talking with the customer on the phone discussing the prices, i called back and unassigned the order, door dash didnt pay my gas and timw wasted. Horrible customer service on door dash end.
