Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
I got 3 gift cards to use on Doordash. They will not load on to my account. Customer service won't fix.I've called a dozen times and numerous promises of callbacks and fixing it have been for nothing. Horrible company!

My husband and I wanted to give DoorDash a shot since Uber Eats and Grub Hub have not updated their maps with my address. It was great the first couple of times but last time, we ordered from a wing place on a day where it was half off. I asked the DoorDash customer service before I placed my order if they would honor the promotion and they told me they would. I placed my order. I get my charge on my credit card and I try to dispute it because it is the full price and they tell me they can't help me. I had a screenshot of them telling me they would honor the promotion so I sent it to them. They told me their prices do not change and they would not follow the promotion. I asked why their agent would tell me that unless he was just lying to me to get my business. I guess they will do whatever they want in order to take people's money. I will never use them again.

With all that is going on, having to stay at home you would think delivery drivers would just do there job. Not the case for one doordash driver in Chicago's Rodgers Park area, oh he delivered the order but on the way out of the building help himself to a residents amazon package in the lobby. Wrote a similar review on doordash's web page and it has disappeared, contacted by phone was put on hold then disconnected. Driver is driving a white Toyota rav-4. Be well and stay safe!

Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced anywhere in my life. Ordered a time sensitive meal and it wasn't even picked up until after I was on hold still an hour later trying to cancel. Waited on hold between text support and phone calls for over an hour. In the meantime I Uber eats an order from a similar restaurant and it was already picked up with the driver texting me an apology for being only one minute late for an eta. Door dash is the absolute worst company I've ever attempted to do business with for food delivery. Anyone who chooses to use this horrific company is just asking to waste their money for a horrible service. I'd never recommend this app/ company to anybody ever. And I will also make it a personal goal to alert every person I come in contact with that this company doesn't deserve to promote itself in any other way but a complete rip off

A fantastic choice for people who enjoy starving to death. Place an order, then wait for hours for ddash to try and fail to raise a driver for you. Want a hot breakfast? Too effing bad. Wake up as early as you like, but breakfast hours will be over by the time they get their act together. Maybe they'll even be closed. Don't worry, because after they've taken your money and left you to starve all day, they'll take a leisurely 3 or 4 days to issue any refund. Broken. Designed by idiots. Scam.

There is NO WAY you can make 23$/hr with Doordash. They are advertising for 23$/ hr and that is the big lie! I delivered 650 orders for them and I never get paid that much! I quit, they are horrible on paying drivers, and they have a horrible service and app. Don't work for them if u like your time and your life... they just think about themselves and you will just lose money by spending gas for them...

Company is a pyramid scheme in which good hard-working people pay for delivery and good hard-working people deliver food. They then pay drivers almost nothing and charge customers huge fees for doing nothing. Apps arent that expensive to maintain. CEO is not American. He also (more than likely) talks poorly and looks down upon drivers behind closed doors. He's rich while everyone else did the actual work. Go America. I disliked driving for them. I disliked ordering from them. Fees too high and pay way too low. Truly a disrespectful disgrace.

After 2.5 hours waiting, I contacted the assigned dasher by text with no response. Then called him. He said he was not the named dasher, didn't know an individual of that name and claimed to not be a Doorda
Sh employee. I contacted Doordash support who did nothing. Just asked if I'd like to continue waiting...lol! It was going on 3 hours at this point. I received dash credits only. Why I would want to use this app again, I have no idea based on this and many other bad experiences with poor to no follow up support.

I completely shut down my Door Dash accounts. Granted Door Dash does give a portion of your money back when issues arise. This still does not make up for constantly getting cold, undercooked food and items usually missing. Since this is an on going problem with door dash and basically and delivery companies. IE Grub Hub or Postmates as well it is not worth paying the outrageous service fees and tipping a dasher who flat out does not bother to check to see if the order is complete. I asked a Door Dash driver one time about missing items and I was told, not my problem pal contact the merchant. Well that does not bode well with me after you tip a person in advance like Door Dash requires and that person is too lazy to do their job. Which is to deliver what I ordered, completely. It's worth my time and money saved just driving myself to the place and picking it. I save on an average of $20 to $30 dollars rather than using the over price delivery places.

I've been dashing for DoorDash 2 years now. It was pretty cool for a year and a half. All of the sudden, no more offers at all. I went 5 months straight without a single offer. I have no idea what happened. Then one day I call support and they advised me to try a troubleshoot technique. I tried it and received 3 offers within 5 hours. Next day, it was back to the same old script. Each time I try the troubleshoot either it works or it doesn't. It's been ongoing for more months. I just gave up due to depression. Now it's May 2022. A whole year has passed nothing much has changed at all. Feels like the algorithms are working against me than for me. Many calls to support still no one has a resolution. Nor have I gotten a explanation to why is this occurring. I've also noticed that DoorDash will only send me an offer when they can't find anyone else to accept it or very bad weather. So frustrating it is.

Drove for them had good ratings but frustrating trying to talk to customer support as they literally don't understand English and a problems may take up to an hour to resolve because of their limited understanding. I reported a life or death situation which they sent us to and the answer was did you complete the delivery and the next day BOOM I was deactivated. We literally were almost killed. This company needs to be looked at or shut down

If you've received refunds before, they won't refund you again. I guess they think you are lying and trying to receive perks, but really they should look into what is going on with dashers and stores on their platform. Why is the customer punished for your repeated errors? I agree with what the other review said about them essentially stealing your money. Support is completely unhelpful and tries to blow you off or just talks in circles. I spend tons of money with doordash, but will likely switch to another service based on several bad experiences. I don't recommend anyone use this as the errors are too common and you won't receive your money back.

I used to like door dash until recently. I'd order food and the dasher picks up my food and drives the opposite way. You can see the map on the app as they drive away. This has happened three times. I've had to contact customer service and it's takes 5-7 business days for your money back

I do not even want to give them a star. Absolutely the most WORTHLESS company ever. The customer service is a joke. Second time in a row, no plasticware... so hot food and no way to eat it. Called their useless customer service number. They told my friend that they were sorry and would credit her card back 10.00 (for 40+) dollars worth of food. They told us to contact the restaurant, which the restaurant told us to call them. And no refund. What a suprise to see all these other reviews about what a scam these people are. Ordered 3 full meals, sides and drinks. Delivery was missing All three entrees and one side. Essentially I paid $17 to have $11 of drinks and sides delivered and two of the drinks were wrong. Doordash gladly refunded the missing items, but would not refund the errors or delivery charge. We had to wait over 90 minutes just to end up spending money on a second delivery. I don't know why I keep trying this service. They have radically messed up orders 3 of the 5 times I have used them. Even if the drivers are good, the management will do nothing to fix the errors. Avoid at all cost!

This is the second time that I have ordered and gotten a text saying my food has been delivered and lo and behold its not there. When you contact them via help you are communicating initially with what appears to be a bot. There is zero explanation. After an hour of furious and hangry efforts I get "credits". I told them I don't want credits bc I will never use their terrible overpriced service again. I asked to be connected to a supervisor when I did get a live "helper" who agreed to convert my credit to money return. I was told the supervisor was reached but she said she was not available. I was overcharged for the purchase. I ordered from panda express worth less than $10.Doordash automatically added $4.50 tips.I talked to the agent, at first they refund $2.0 dash credit. I chat with them again. This time the agent told me I will receive $4.50 back to my original payment after 3-5 days. I waited a week.I did not see the refund on my card. I was told I would be getting a refund from Cheesecake factory for messing up my order. I paid 21.34 for a chicken finger dish and only received 3 chicken fingers, my account shows that they issued a refund but really did not. I called and spoke with some foreign person who sent me an email saying Doordash policy so I would not get my money back. Do not ever use them I am cancelling my acct and telling everyone I know to never use them again, go to grub hub they are honest door dash are thieves.

I am so sick of every single order placed through doordash being wrong in some way. Between the items I've purchased being replaced with random items, missing things like straws and poor packaging and handling, I am DONE with this crappy service. Then they have the audacity to tell me that they are not going to provide the refund for the missing items because of my account history. So because I demand that my items be correct that I purchase I'm going to be penalized. Why don't you instead invest more money in time as the employees and ensure that our orders are correct the first time and that are handled with care the first time.

They charge the most atrocious fees and they won't give you a full refund if there's a problem with your order. Speaking to a customer service agent is pointless, they're extremely RUDE and unhelpful. I won't be using DoorDash ever again. If you order from DoorDash, you either won't receive your food at all (the dasher will steal it), the order will be tampered with (the dasher will take a bite out of your food), or your entire order will be incorrect. Don't waste your money with this company! They're nothing but frauds and scammers.
