Doordash didn't recognize a valid gift card that I applied to an order. OK, I cancelled the order and received an email confirmation of that confirmation. Doordash did not cancel the order with the local company and charged my card. I cancelled for that reason within 1 minute of placing the order and they only refunded me for 75% of the charge and put the balance on credit. I called and reminded them I have used doordash 2 times in the last 5 years and will never use them again...no desire to engage from their side so I will call this out to my bank as FRAUD, which it truly is. Bogus for doordash to rely on draconian "fix the glitch" methods to make money. Wish I could give them zero stars.
Ordered 9 items from 5 guys, only 7 showed up. Called Doordash customer service. This should be renamed customer no service. She could only bump my request for a refund to another department and the only way I would know if I would get a refund is that I would receive an email. No timeframe mentioned -- still waiting...
Doordash refuses to update their maps and because of it yet again we're going without an order. We leave instructions for the dashers, call the dashers (they don't pick up) and they still leave our food at the wrong building a 1/4 mile down the road. Doordash customer service refuses to rectify the situation.
Three (3) times in the last few months I have received food orders which were not mine. I am not even a Doordash customer! All homes in my little neighborhood are well-marked with the street number. It would seem the drivers cannot read. Unfortunately, nothing on the delivery receipt shows any way to contact Door Dash nor the driver, nor the person who placed the order, nor the restaurant from whence the food came! Thus, it goes in the trash! Really ridiculous on all fronts!
Price was better for the SAME exact meal at SkipTheDishes. I tried to cancel right away after seeing that but it was too late even though only minutes after placing the order. I called support and the supervisor said I would be called back and I never was.
Ordered 2 items that cost $14.99 but only one was delivered. The app would only issue me a credit if $8.49. I've tried to escalate through CS who have been no help, even going so far as lying to me about issuing additional credits.
Never get food, even after tipping very well! Makes absolutely no sense, the standards at which they hire drivers must be bar none because I'd say only 2 times out of 10 has my experience been a good one. Why take a job to deliver food if you're not going to deliver food? Do they fire drivers after they just blatantly steal a customers $60 food order? Absolutely insane business model and I will never use them and trash talk them to everyone I know and never recommend anyone work for this trash company. Customer service told me "we'll try harder next time". Your company has been around for almost a decade! You'd think the standards would be SOMEWHAT decent!

I ordered from local restaurant that uses door dash for delivery. When not receiving my food, contacted restaurant to see where it was. Manager confirmed correct address in his system but totally different address on door dash's side. Driver dropped and went at wrong address. What can I say?!?! There's a reason I do not have a door dash account. Thanks for ruining my Saturday evening by having to be on the phone all night and charging my card twice for a pick up rather than ever using you again!

I was duped once, but never again. My order never arrived. No one responded to phone or chat. All the one star reviews and the negative experiences speak for themselves. Why this company hasn't gone out of business at this point speaks volumes about questionable business practices and deceptive messaging. I really have to wonder what's going on with this company. It's clearly not about delivering food.
They screwed up my orders so many times, that they refused to give me a refund on my last order. I paid $95 for cold food and on top of that, the driver ruined my yard after driving through the wet grass! Don't waste your time or money.
3 deliveries out of 3 were messed up. Ordered 4 meals forgot one, they would not deliver the missed meal only gave a credit, really? Second day forgot the drink, third day charged a delivery fee when it said promo. Customer service is awful they could careless, if you are happy with their service. Customer satisfaction is not their motto. Cheaper to drive yourself. Did not honor promo, told me several different stories why they would not honor. Beware this company is heartless.
They have messed up 3 of my last 3 orders and they offer nothing in return. I am not eating food that arrives in a bag that is torn and wet. Four baked goods have no reason to be wet! This is unacceptable - but when reported, Door Dash didn't even acknowledge it. Done with them!
This has got to be the most incompetent, unprofessional, unethical company EVER! They refuse to make things right for customers when the order is missing items or wrong. And keep repeating themselves saying, "there is only some much we can do on our end". WHAT!?! Give me my money back or re-deliver the food that I paid for. This isn't rocket science here NEVER... EVER... AGAIN!
Unbelievable, order couldn't be delivered and it was returned to store, yet apparently there is a "restocking fee" of like $25.00 for one item and to walk it back to the shell. Will never order from them again. Canceled subscription.

I recently tried DoorDash and encountered several shortcomings that affected my overall satisfaction. The absence of a proper order scheduling system made it challenging to plan meals efficiently. Additionally, the platform lacks a composition feature, limiting customization options for orders.
One major concern was the extended duration it took to receive a refund. When faced with a payment issue, the refund process dragged on for 6-12 days, significantly impacting the overall convenience and reliability of the service. While DoorDash provides a variety of food options, these issues detracted from the overall experience, leading to a less-than-ideal rating.
After ordering a few times the excitement of having options wears off when you realize 1. The store messes your order up 9 times out of 10.2. DoorDash is simply going to issue a refund but the issues NEVER ARE RESOLVED. 3. The drivers can do whatever they want. They say your store is closed, have your order cancelled and sit at a Coney Island for twenty minutes while you wait for no food. 4. The drivers are 9 times out of 10 going to get your address wrong even if your address is clear as day and you message them with the correct address to confirm. 5. The driver most likely will be picking up multiple orders DoorDash will NEVER tell you about so you keep ordering and waiting for old cold food. I could go on. It's just over time it gets old to have your food barely delivered with so many issues.
I am a loyal avid doordash customer. I have an issue with my order at least once a week maybe once every week and a half. Today's issue was I never received one of the items I ordered. I had sat in a chat with a supposed live person who never helped me. Please see photos to prove my review. My family and I use this service on average every other day. Very dissatisfied very disappointed and will not be using doordash anymore GrubHub here we come!

For over 4 years I had been using doordash almost everyday without any issue. Until today Aug. 18 they disabled my account out of the blues.
Their reason blocked payment method/multiple accounts. Yet yesterday and for the last four years I've been using my card and account consistently without issue. Their solution is to make a new account with new email. Unsolved and ended chat. Ridiculous. Doordash thinks they are the only service provider or something?
DashPass means no fees, right?
Apparently now, you pay for DashPass, and then you still pay for fees at most restaurants.
How does that make sense?
You pay for no fees, and then pay for fees on top of paying for no fees?
(This is not even to mention that I had canceled my DashPass, and then a while later it automatically re-subscribed me)

I wanted some food from a place that uber doesn't go to. First time using doordash and never got my food but was still charged almost $40 and when I call the person on the phone was really rude and said in other words to bad! Never using doordash and telling all my friends how horrible they are to customers!

Made an order with doordash before, went okay. Used them again and could not edit the delivery location so I assumed it would use the data from before (the house icon is clearly visible and separate from the restaurant icon in the picture below).
I was wrong, they texted me a picture of my food on the ground in the parking lot of the restaurant and only refunded me 3/4 of the price. When I asked for at least a repeat order placed to the right address, they told me I could do it myself. Never using them again.
Gave me a credit to their site, not a credit card credit and I didn't realize until it never showed up on VISA...then they said cant change after 3 days...so they keep my money? I will not be using them again totally unacceptable
False advertising, horrid service, atrocious accuracy, rude drivers and customer "service", unethical, criminal and just trash! They can steal your money in less than a second but somehow it takes a week to refund your money. I have zero respect for anyone associated with this dump.
I got sick from a 21 dollar order placed last night. They refused to refund me. They have now lost hundreds to thousands of dollars of money this year not to mention next year and the following years due to this incredibly poor decision making.
