Door-dash is the best ever food ordering platform. Compared to their competitors they have more restaurants listed and have better customer service. They give good offers too. I got my services fees reduced and got discount too (attached picture) Recommended
DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. All this and you tip before delivery, so you are tipping for cold food.
Twice DoorDash delivered to wrong door! After I gave exact directions they still can't do it right. Everyone else who delivers here can do it right. Never DoorDash again!

These guys are the absolute worst, run a mile, they will take your money from a shop that's closed and make you jump through hoops to get your money back, RUN A MILE and do not use them, they are WORSE THAN USELESS, if you have a problem they will offer you a refund and block your card so you can't claim it

I was using doordash consistently for over 2 yrs. About 4 yrs all together. Having problems last 2 months. Missing drinks, someone's order, missing food. Yesterday I was missing a salad, the driver told me to call CS and he would let them know. I was told from 1st CS rep(Ms I forgot I was on Mute)that it was MY issue and they will not bring the salad. No credit or refund since I having issues. NO it's your company that is having issues. Drivers can look at the ticket taped to the bag and can tell if it states drinks then they need to have a drink in their hand or a separate bag like McDonald. If it's 7 or 10 item and you hand me a bag that can fit in a clutch purse. So it is not MY issue when I'm paying MY money you the company to do THEIR job. I didnt want a refund or credits...I just wanted my salad. I canceled my door pass and deactivated my account so no 875 to 1500 per year Door Dash and no referral to friends and family on my end. I will tell all 7 of them that we broke up...over a salad. FYI if Door Dash is reading this, I keep receipts that were on the bags, take pictures and video myself breaking the seals and opening the bag. Just in case they want da smoke.

They have lied numerous of times about submitting me my refund for the "DashPass" I never even signed up for. Stay away from door dash. LET'S COME TOGETHER AND BOTCOTT this company. They need to be shut down! There are many more other delivery options. STAY AWAY from DoorDash if you don't want money missing from your account.

I have ordered from Doordash too many times and had disappointment. I will not order again I ordered twice tonight, first order OK they've accepted it'll be 60-75 min... Shortly after phone rings we're sorry the store you ordered from is closed I've issued a refund 5-7 days... Well tomorrow is pay day so let's try daddies card... Second order, your payment has succeeded 30 min later exactly 1 min before the store closes. Your order has been canceled refund issued, soooo almost 300$ in the hole and hungry family nada. If you have 1 chance to feed your kids until payday this isn't the way to go. They have no idea if the store is even open apparently although the app says it is. They'll take your money and bend you over but wait a $20 credit for your troubles, ehh credit didn't even show up. I have no idea what the whole thought process was behind this but taking people monies before the order is even complete is a terrible idea. Some genius out there needs to do better... I'll order from you! Make that money...

We order from DoorDash frequently, because I'm a nurse and am not home to cook all the time… The service has gone from ok. To bad. To WORSE over the past month or so. They're hiring folks that can't follow directions, that can't read street signs, that are RUDE, etc.
I had ONE man try to deliver my food ONE STREET OVER and when I called him, ( and eventually MET him on the wrong street) he stuck his head in my car window screaming "I'm here! I'm here! 8! 8!" I tried to tell him that, while my house number has an 8 in it, it was ON THE OTHER STREET and he was in front of the WRONG HOUSE. He barely spoke any English AT ALL and was CRAZY.
Seriously? Doesn't Doordash vet these lunatics?
Now, don't get me wrong… I've had some AMAZING dashers! But they are VERY few and far between now.
I'm going to switch to grub hub. Maybe ithey have smarter people working for them.

This company allows their dashers to steal others food and post publicly about it on social media and does nothing about it. Then if more than five dashers have stolen your food or delivered it cold they will refuse to give you a refund.
You're not safe as a dasher either. I made an account to deliver on the weekends but hadn't used it for a few weeks after I made it. I had a scammer claiming to be from doordash call my phone and try to bully me into making my first delivery. He kept asking me when I was going to deliver. I kept repeating I don't know and finally he hung up on me. I called doordash and they confirmed they did not call me. Then they say "sometimes third parties can get customer information" and I said you mean scammers are able to get my number and see my account balance? I deleted my dasher account that day. I feel really bad for anyone who would make money with them just to have it taken from their account by a scammer. Word of mouth is the best advertising and I will tell everyone how I almost got my funds stolen on door dash. Beware of this company. Their security is lax and their policies are clearly geared towards making money, not the customers convenience or security.

A pro is Dash pass still gives 0$ delivery fee. Con is you don't know if you order will be delivered. So you are gambling with your money everytime you order.

Watch out for DOORTHIEFS 3 day refund policy. You are expected to get straight on to them for refunds for incomplete deliveries, so you do, but you are still denied a refund. Asked where my $30 plus refund is NO REPLY. Emails back and fourth and still MY MONEY IS NOT ANYWHERE TO BE SEEN. My purchase was on the 23/12/21 so I didn't answer their emails so that breeched their refund clause. Right open up emails over Xmas, the wife would of killed me. All because I believe in Christmas and not 8 handed efalants doesn't mean I should jump when door dash says. They are absolutely the worst company.

BUYER BEWARE: I am staring a campaign so #doordash refunds me of over $227 they are trying to steal from me for over 2 months now! Short story:
-1st act: I order food and Doordash immediately charge the Mastercard;
-2nd act: 20 minutes later Doordash say the restaurant is not available and that the money will be refunded;
-Third act: Doordash doesn't refund anything and just asks you to keep sending emails while they want you to get tired and drop the case.
THIS IS A SCAM! I wonder how much money they have stolen from people this way.

I've had issues with DoorDash in the past (super late deliveries, multiple canceling Dashers), but this last issue caused me delete the app entirely. I just had surgery and really needed a few things delivered. After placing my order, I got four dashers accept and then cancel my order two hours, and the last one said she couldn't complete the order but that I had to cancel the order myself. Keep in mind, I've been waiting two hours at this point for my delivery. When I contacted customer support, they said they also couldn't do anything and that I had to cancel myself. They didn't assign another dasher, and they didn't provide any help at all. They just said that I would just have to resubmit my order and wait another two hours. I work in customer service, and I have genuinely never experienced such poor customer service. I canceled my order, and then canceled my DashPass. Seriously, if you really need anything delivered, don't use DoorDash.

Awesome. I'm so glad that I have such a hard time finding ways to feed my family. It makes me happy that big corporation like yourself conspire with the government to deny people realistically pretty garbage opportunities to begin with based off of labels and the past. I find it fascinating that you know me personally so well as to make the decision to deny me work base on:

And possession of a chemical that grows naturally out of gods green ground and has never once killed anyone EVER IN HISTORY.
Thank you with all my heart for keeping out streets safe doordash the last thing I would want when paying $70 for a decent meal to be dropped at my front door is for them to have possessed some plant material in their basement 5 years ago, and also exorcised their god given right outlined in the founding documents of our nation and consistently reiterated in the Supreme Court (too early).
But that's all fine and dandy because one look at the reviews online and they average a 1.2 star. Never seen a company still running with such an absolute disgraceful review AVERAGE.

Place is a joke. Door dash did not drop off any food. I had to go pick up the order and doordash would not refund the delivery fee or the tip the driver got for not delivery my food.

Doordash, after 6 calls and 3 emails to their support I found no suitable resolution.
The problems:
1, After 47 successful order history payments by my card and the latest successful order 1/2 hour before I tried to place another order which for the first time in my order history I was asked to scan my card.
2, After attempting to scan my card more than 5 times it remained unverified.
3, I then closed Doordash on my laptop and attempted more than 5 times on my doordash app on my phone all showing ERROR.
4,I deleted my card on my account and reapplied the same card to no avail.
5, I called their support 4 times and was transferred to another extension each time which didn't answer with a total waiting time of 2 hours.
6, I am a double arm amputee/ no arms, so this is my reason for ordering meals/food for delivery.
7, Because of my disability I only have 1 card, this card was unverified by Doordash website and their app.
8, I am offered no other option but to use another card that I do not carry/hold.
Conclusion:
1, This new method of card scanning falls short of good company service.
2, Telephone support falls short of good company service.
3, Email support falls short of good company service.
4, Customer support for people with disabilities falls short of good company service.
5, No suitable option is available to me. But doordash keeps spinning the same lines.

DO NOT STORE YOUR CARD INFO WITH THIS COMPANY... They have illegally charged my card on 2 occasions and I didn't have an order EITHER TIME. After the 1st charge deleted my card and I cancelled my account and was guaranteed that they deleted my information but 2 days later it was charges $30 again. They couldn't even tell me how in the hell they had my info to place the charge on. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

I've been using the service for about a year. In that time, I've had the "pleasure" of using their customer support three times. The first two times were awful, but I wasn't concerned over the issues enough to continue their runaround game. In the most recent case, I was fed up. I was extremely professional in every email, and clearly stated the issue with related evidence and included my case reference number of all of them. I provided additional requested information to the first couple of responses, but the requests never stopped. No matter what I gave them, there was always another request to elaborate or clarify. Every email was from a different support agent, and it was obvious that they weren't even reviewing my previous replies.
After continuous back-and-forth with constant attempts to deceive and avoid blame, I deleted my Doordash account. Immediately, I received another response that, for the first time, didn't seem copy-pasted. They "reviewed my account and are willing to process my refund, but can't because my account has been deactivated."
Just disgusting business practice. Keep my money, it's the last you'll get from me.

Use Grubhub instead. Their rates are getting lower and any additional cost is well worth avoiding Doordash

I ordered DoorDash for the first time on September 8,2023, a Friday. Myself and a colleague ordered Sonic breakfast burritos. The food was cold, the tortilla wraps were mangles and barely holding together. The tater tots were eaten and the drinks were a refresher to a garbage breakfast meal!
I spoke with DoorDash representative that same day and she could not offer me a refund and that the situation had to be escalated to a review board.
Needless to say, the review board determined from my history that I did not warrant a refund (mind you that was my first experience ordering from DoorDash). So I am not understanding where this outcome stemmed from. They also said "we based our decision on a comprehensive analysis of ALL relevant factors, including full details of the order, the details of your refund request and your overall account history."
I will never use, or suggest DoorDash again in this lifetime or the next!
My background, I am a Marine with high standards and integrity, I have no reason to lie, cheat, steal etc… I am completely perplexed on how they came to this conclusion!
We threw our food away but kept our drinks, so there are no photos to show of how piss poor the food really was!

Been dealing with customer service for the last 48 hours trying to resolve an issue with my order that I never received I am asking for my $39.76 to be put back into my bank account and not as a DoorDash credit because I am no longer going to go through DoorDash to get food it is considered theft because I have never received my food or money back for your neglect and for your thievery and the theft of my money and product that I ordered Shame on you if I could give you a zero star I would if I could give you a -3000*I would you better best believe That this will be going to the Better Business Bureau my attorney and I am making a police report and I am putting fraud on my bank account because you guys are not going to do this to me let alone anybody else

I am very disgusted with Door Dash and will not be using them again. I ordered some items from Bed, Bath and Beyond on November 11th, 2022. After waiting over 10 mins for a driver to accept the order, I reached out to support to see what was going on. Their bot asked me questions and I simply said to refund and cancel my order since it would not arrive in time for my daughter's sleepover. In the chat, I was transferred twice and then when I finally spoke with the manager, he advised me he wouldn't do anything and that no exceptions would be made. I asked again and again for my money back. They literally stole my money and I have no products. I have already submitted this dispute to my bank but please be careful when using their app. They take your money and then run. My husband drives for them and said what they were telling me was a lie. I have attached screenshots of the entire conversation. Minutes after the manager closed the chat without asking me if I needed anything else; I received an email saying it was cancelled and a refund would be issued. So what is the truth here? Door Dash is full of it. Someone better fix this and clarify what the heck is going on.

At 5:00 P.M., tonight, 8/25/20, my wife used the app to order 2 Jersey Mikes Subs. They told us it would arrive at 6:20 P.M. and they took our credit card information. At 6:30 P. M when no one showed up, we called Jersey Mikes and found out that the Door Dash driver had left with a lot of sandwiches and never came back. They would send someone else to our hose with new sandwiches. At 7:15 we called and now they couldn't find the driver or the sandwiches, but a new driver would arrive shortly. At 7:35 the new driver was still on their way to the store so we told them to cancel the order and we asked that the purchase be cancelled also. Jersey mikes told us they couldn't do that and it would have to come from Door dash. Door dash sent us back to Jersey Mikes and they sent us back to Door Dash to no avail. Finally, we called our credit card company and they cancelled the charge for us. 3 hours of aggravation and no food. Door dash is probably potentially dangerous to use also as God only knows what these guys put the food through even if it gets delivered. We will never use DoorDash again,

I have had nothing but headaches with this service. The people that deliver the food have been very nice and polite, my issue is with the company itself and its (lack of) customer service. I ordered 4 times from them total, each time I ordered a drink and each time (except this last time), our drinks were missing. I went to try them again last night and their server was refusing to remove a promotion so that I could apply $12.28 in credit to a delivery instead. Called customer service, they apologized and added a $5.00 credit. We decided to order pizza from a local chain not through doordash, but today we decided to use the $17.28 credit towards lunch from McDonalds (2 combos and a breakfast burrito) which came to $23.47.
*They took the ENTIRE amount from my bank without using the $17.28 credit AND the credits were removed from my account*. I called customer service to remedy this situation and was told there was nothing they were willing to do! They insisted on gaslighting me with "it says on the receipt you saved $3.00"... They are crooks hiding behind a company. Use a different service if you expect fair pricing and acceptable customer service!

Screenshot EVERY screen, the summary AND the final check out. Or just avoid them to avoid a headache in the event of a mishap.
